This dude. Everyone says he talks very little that Paradise Lost gang even blushed at his words every time he speaks bc apparently he rarely speaks. But bro is a YAPPER. A huge YAPPER when it comes to MC. (Like how most of us just yap all things to our love) from background conversations, to chats, to stories, if one sentence was enough to make the PL gang blush, then with the amount he says to MC, PL gang would orgasm till they faint.

Also, when MC said “oh, you are busy, why bother texting me?” He was like

“??Bc I’m a doctor, and I often check up on my patients,

But also bc I like you.

Gamigin almost form lifelong friendship with his patients! We doctors are dedicated…I am not that dedicated tho,

But I also have to check on you bc you are important to me.

In the story, he actually keeps his “doctor profession”, by not touching his patient, (believe it or not). He wants to lick MC’s tears so bad, wants to be nice to her, wants to cherish it as lovers’ s*xy time and not a type of treatment, but he couldn’t bc everything he did then was to cure MC. So, he refrained himself from licking MC’s tears and kissing MC’s face. Meh, weird way for a doctors’ safe distance from patient, but that’ll do ig…

Again, he losts it at every card when MC said she likes doing this with him. Their relationship, feels kinda like situasionship smh haha. Both kept their cools, but loses their shjt when the other do lovers’ things to them.

He caters to MC’s liking to cure her, but in the end, he himself can’t keep his words of “not touching the patient”, and still kisses MC. As MC no longer has Christmas cold, she still clings to Lucifer for sexy time lol, bc it’s rare to spend time with him, and he knows, he thinks the same and doesn’t do allat doctor patient game anymo, just lovers’ stuffs from then on lmao.

And finally, I still save the best for last.

So for context: he is texting MC to ask like “what type of magical possay you got, that this toy still have your love liquid on it after DAYS?”

… well look at that, you hypocrite lil shjt. I remember SOMEONE told Belphegor that him keeping the blanket that him and MC rolled on is unhygienic. And now you kept that toy UNWASHED on your office table for days, in the room that bans everyone from entering. If he washed it, he wouldn’t ask MC why it was still wet bc it would be cleanly dried long ago.

“At first, it vibrated with your smell” okay.. you kept that thing to occasionally sniff MC out? On God… like I said. He might be crazy like Asmo.

Next, he was FURIOUS, when he noticed that the candy cane reeks of other devils’ smells. (Apparently the Paradise Lost gang has used that to m*st*rb*t* lol) bc 1, he places it privately in his own office, a place no one dares to enter, and now they are doing IT in his no no office zone, and 2, it no longer entirely smells like MC, so he just decides to lock the entire PL gang up to punish 🤣🤣 and won’t let MC meet them for a good while. (Jealous boi)

Another thing I am wondering is that, it is canon that he gets hard every time he bumps into/ remembers/ sees MC (MC-sexual lol). The inclusion of the MC smelled candy cane in his office? Yeah… it will DEFINITELY make that man go absolute FERAL.

blinking the sleep away, your thoughts got all jumbled up. what was that voice you heard in that short nap? and what did it mean by 'destined'?

quiet murmurs and whispers entered your ears, a blatant reminder of reality pulling you back to the land of living. right, you sighed, you were in a library. and in the presence of people.

your eyes swept through rows of bookshelves and immersive readers, before they stopped at a far corner of the library. there, you see a person, simply reading the time away. you couldn't see their face, as it was covered by the oversized hoodie they wore.

what you noticed, however, was the distinct glowing blue hair. like fire, you mused; pretty, and rather hard to miss.

the more you stared at the mysterious person, the stronger you felt a sense of familiarity. the warm feeling buried deep within your heart, resurfaced. a feeling you never knew you could experience until today.

have you met this person before? you couldn't have, right?

... a soft voice echoed, snapping you out of your stupor.

your eyes met gold hues, and that feeling came crashing down like tsunami waves.

he was tall, towering over you even, he had to hunch down to look at you. the hood was pulled down, revealing his ghostly pale face, and long fire-like blue hair cascading down his back. and his eyes, a molten gold so bright and eerie, yet so soft as he stared at you with an expression difficult to read. melancholic? wistful? you couldn't tell which.

again, his soft voice snapped you out of your thoughts. he was fidgeting with his hands as he quietly asked if you were okay, since you were spacing out. you blinked, oh right, you still had a job to do.

wordlessly, you checked through the books, fighting down a blush in embarrassment, all while sneaking little glances at him. in the few chances your eyes met, you looked away as if nothing happened, spare for the heat presented on your face. only after he left, did you let out a relieved sigh.

"what was that all about?" you murmured, your hand hovered over where your heart was. the strange feeling was real, you mused, but why did your heart feel so empty when he left?

you made it your mission to get to the bottom of this. perhaps you could find that boy again, if the fates were on your side.

his heart was hammering as he left the building. through the darkened glass panes, he could make out your figure standing there behind the desk. he found himself smiling at the sight of your thoughtful look. his soul longs for you, craving for you to be in his arms.

it seems like the fates have smiled at him once more, weaving his destiny to reunite with his beloved.

Caleb’s future myth - fiery birdboi

A speculation and why I think it will be connected to

The Vermillion bird, Phoenix and The Fenghuang

As I described in an earlier post, I have reason to suspect and speculate that the devs have dropped us several hints and hidden messages in Caleb’s tattoos in the current banner, Tomorrow’s catch 22. To sum my ramblings up; they point to Caleb being connected to the Vermillion bird, the Pheonix or The Fenghuang using Chinese homophones and meanings to numbers.

The meaning of this post is to give an overview on how hints from his others memories and the current event banner can also point to the same direction.

Brief overview of the key attributes to the Vermillion bird and why it fits Caleb:

The Vermilion Bird (Zhuque, 朱雀), as one of the Four Symbols in Chinese mythology, is primarily associated with fire, passion, summer, and the southern direction

Fire and how it connects to Caleb:

In café interractions he will comment something like «I’m burning up, you say?»

His main stellarium is red, representing fire(?)

Red apples, red strawberries (in the tomorrow’s catch event story). Both fruits have a strong connection to summer too.

Red red red red. Dude is red.

Description of his CNY outfit «Sunlit splendor»: Golden thread weave through bamboo as the crimson radiates warmth. Hello? Fire, crimson, warmth. Dude is fire. Guess what grows after being cut down? Bamboo. Just like the Vermillion bird represents rebirth and renewal.

If you touch his lips, he’ll comment on the MC starting a fire on his lips, and that she’s playing with fire.

Passion and how it connects to Caleb:

No further explanation needed. If you’ve started to read this lengthy text, you’re already aware of how this guy is both the thirstiest of the lot and has an unyielding passion for the MC and also flying or any other interest that catches his eye.

Summer and how it connects to Caleb:

His name in Chinese straightforward means summer. Xia Yizhou(夏以晝/夏以昼). The same interpretation applies to his Japanese name. No further elaboration needed. Guy IS summer.

South and how it connects to Caleb

In the current banner, Caleb and the MC lives in the southern district as children.

If Caleb indeed is the counterpart to Zayne (who represent the north, cold, blue stellarium, ice and frost), it’s natural that think that Caleb will be represented by a mythical creature that is directly connected to the south, aka The Vermillion bird representing warmth, fire, red stellarium.

There might be more hints towards the southern direction. I’ll come back and update if I find more.

Why must he be a birb and not some other summery, hot mythical being, you might ask?

Why is the Vermillion bird a good match for Caleb romantically?

Fire pokers?

Speaking of that exact sigil. I have reason to believe that the crossed thingies are a Chinese fire poker that has been opened up. Try to google 火钳 and tell me I’m wrong.

While fire pokers aren’t specifically a mythological tool associated with creatures like the Vermilion Bird or Phoenix in Chinese culture, fire tools in general do hold symbolic significance in fire-related rituals and spiritual practices. The Phoenix and Vermilion Bird, both deeply connected to the element of fire, metaphorically align with the ideas of transformation, rebirth, and renewal—concepts that can be associated with the act of tending fire using tools like fire pokers.

Unanswered yet:

Why doesn’t the fallen angel/Lucifer theory resonate with me? Because I just find that there are an overwhelmingly amout of hidden stuffs that point us to the firebirbs (they are also of eastern origin on the contrary to Lucifer)

Trick or Treat~!

Pairing: Che'nya x Floyd (could be read platonically or romantically)

Summary: It's finally Halloween night, but Floyd is in a bit of a slump. However, the arrival of a curious companion may just make the Halloween party a bit more interesting for him.

Notes: This is my first attempt at something following a prompt - specifically, "Trick or Treat" for the 2023 TWST Rarepair Halloween event. I'm trying to get more comfortable/practiced with writing prose (which is why this wasn't posted on the 30th... oops), and only vaguely ended up following the prompt. I'm fairly happy with how this little piece turned out, though!

Floyd wanted to take a break. 

It was Halloween, and all he had done the entire week was work, work, work. Getting costumes ready, decorating, helping with their dorm's presentation, plus cooking and serving at the Lounge, all on top of normal classes? 

Sure, it was fun, especially getting to show off Octavinelle's cool setup, and 'taking care of' those misbehaving visitors. But now? Everything felt draining and boring, and Floyd simply wanted to leave, which sucked because the actual Halloween party had just started!  

Maybe he should just ditch and go back to his dorm; being in a funk when everyone else is having fun around you is not enjoyable.  He slumped down on a bench and unwrapped a sweet he had picked up earlier, before wrapping it up again. Ugh, not even in the mood for that candy he wanted only a few minutes ago. 

As he shoved the sweet back into his pocket and was about to get up from the bench to leave, Floyd heard a rustle behind him. Someone was quietly humming, and… laughing? The sound gradually moved to his side, towards the empty side of the bench.  

“Trick or treat~”

Floyd turned to face the voice. "Listen, man, I'm not in the mood to—” he froze, staring at the figure beside him. “Hang on a second, where's your body!?"

A toothy smile came to the face of the head that currently floated beside Floyd. "Oh, it's here.... or maybe it's there." A pair of hands materialized on either side of this boy's head, followed by the rest of his body. 

“I'm just kidding. Mind if I take a seat? I’d like to rest up before I keep purrowling around and startling people.”

Floyd blinked, then raised an eyebrow. “Uh, go for it.” 

This guy was... weird, and it was hard to tell if he'd be annoying, or interesting. "You don't go here, do ya? At least, I’ve never seen you before. And you’re no ghost, either.”

The cat-like boy shook his head, his jewellery jingling softly. "I'm just passing through for the festivities and collecting treats. Scaring some people, too. That’s loads of fun. And it's always nice to see my friends let loose." 

Floyd had a vague memory surface. "Ohh... you must be that RSA boy who's friends with Sea Turtle and Goldfishie." 

"'Sea Turtle' and 'Goldfishie', hey? Those are good names for my green and red friends. Cats are known for liking fish." He leaned forward, his grin growing. “Artemiy Artemiyevich Pinker. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

Floyd nodded, “Floyd Leech. It's nice to meet you, too.” He looked curiously at the boy beside him, taking in his shaggy hair, piercings, and impish smile.

"You're not what I expected.” Floyd smiled, "But you seem fun, Catfish. I didn't think Goldfishie would get along with someone so... interesting."

Che'nya's eyes lit up slightly. "Catfish? Heh heh heh, most people call me Che'nya, but I guess that works. And I’ve heard some… interesting stories about you, too."

He stretched his legs out in front of him, leaning back with his arms behind his head as he sighed. "But yeah, I don't think Riddle could shake me if he tried." 

"I'm almost jealous." Floyd tipped his head slightly. "Most of the time, Goldfishie likes to swim away before I can play with him."

Che'nya laughed, "Well, if you're wondering, he 'swam off' that way." He pointed off to the side. “Just don’t be rough with him. I don’t like people mistreating my friends.”

Floyd looked off into the crowd where he had pointed, and let out a small laugh. “Alright, good to know. Maybe I’ll find him later, if I feel like it”, he smiled and sat back. “And Goldfishie’s stronger than he looks, but I guess you’d know that.”

Che’nya nodded, then leaned closer with a mischievous glint in his eye. "You know, I bet we could do something that would really surprise him.” 

Floyd turned slightly towards Che’nya, and flashed a smile. “Yeah, we probably could. I think we should talk more in the future, Catfish. You seem pretty fun.” 

Che’nya grinned, “You seem pretty fun, too.”

"Well,” he stretched his arms above his head. “I think I’m going to go and find some more treats… and play some more tricks tonight. I'll catch you around, Floyd." 

With a haunting giggle echoing in his ears, Floyd watched as the boy beside him faded into nothingness, just the same way he had arrived. 

What a weird guy.

Floyd unwrapped the candy he had pocketed earlier, then popped it into his mouth. Maybe this party was worth staying at after all.

Can we analyse Tulin for a bit?

Apart from being the keet birb boy, perhaps what makes his character so enthralling is how it so brilliantly reflects and offers commentary on the influences that have shaped him.

Whether that be Revali, his father Teba, and ESPECIALLY Link. Hell, it's no wonder that Link & Tulin have garnered such a sibling dynamic. Tulin essentially IS Link, from a time before the burden of responsibility and pain caused Link to cave in on himself pre-Breath of the Wild.

Right down to the veteran warrior father figure (Link's father was captain of the guard) and their acceptance of a newfound legacy out of forthright integrity. Tulin, at this point in his life, has yet to give himself away until there's nothing of him left to give, and let's pray he never needs to.

But Tulin would do that in a heartbeat, if called upon. He is very much his father's son.

You can see it in how archtypical childish spunk is tempered, like steel, by Teba's down-to-earth bluntness and sheer work ethic.

(BTW I wonder if Link sees his own father in Teba? That'd check out.)

But what caught me most pleasantly off-guard is Tulin's skepticism, which has become one of his most compelling traits for me. It's not something you would expect.

He did not believe that the Stormwind Ark existed, and while ultimately proven wrong, it frankly wasn't an illogical assumption to make. Tulin clearly thought through that opinion. He'd also grown frustrated that the Rito placed their faith on a songbook miracle — a eucatastrophe, if you will — instead of something more concrete like personal skill or, say, Link's whole-ass existence.

The second Link arrived and offered his aid, Tulin accepted his help without hesitation. He turned his skepticism inward to reevaluate his own tenets. And it's as a duo that they brought about said eucatastrophe through no one's strength but their own. They are siblings, Your Honor. Aryll 2.0

(If Revali had been blessed with a support network saying "it's okay to accept help. no man is an island," doubtless he still would have perished in Vah Medoh. But there would be less of an ego to shatter. He would have faced death with less blind panic and more dignity. And most importantly, he'd have other people to bolster the wind beneath his wings during his short life. (At the very least, Revali would not have as big an ass not be as big an ass, just as Tulin would be a different person without his family.)

Also, one thing that everyone seems to miss is just how deceptively intelligent Tulin turns out to be. This kid fuckin' knows his stuff. His mastery of aerodynamics beyond the instinctual is almost on par with Revali at such a young age. And how many precision headshots has his avatar saved your ass with, don't lie.

He somehow managed to follow his father back through time. Tulin can see Koroks.

It's not the same kind of passion-fuelled intellect as, say, Zelda has. More of an unyeilding conviction to learn all he can and put it into practice. About as understated a quality as Yunobo's inexplicable business acumen and economic sense.

As his mother Saki put it, for Tulin to develop as an individual, he needs to experience more of reality and its hardships. Shooting bullseyes and improving one's flying prowess / wind magic can't contend with genuine combat. True to her word, Tulin had to experience mistakes firsthand, and critically examine his own naïve ways of thinking in order to take those necessary steps.

...

So then, uh, is it wrong for me to wish something horrible upon him, if only to witness the positive character growth that springs from it? Tulin isn't the sort who'll shatter under pressure, like Revali did at the end of his life, or like Link did under the weight of expectation. Buckle, yes — but not break. Tulin's steadfast conviction, inherited from his father and guided by the people he loves, would assuredly see him through.

In any event, his Hero's Journey isn't close to over. I'd be curious to see Tulin at its conclusion.

i love writing for this bird, he's so strange and weird and deserves all the love in the world. he did nothing wrong

1 - when he's topping, he loves a basic missionary, or maybe having you lay on your front while he takes you from behind. he really likes seeing just how in control he is over you while in bed. it feeds his ego.

but sometimes, he just wants you to be on top. when he's on his back while you ride him or fuck him, he'll get a little emotional seeing just how incredible you are, caring for him like this. he'll never admit that he gets teary eyed during interfacing sometimes.

5 - usually he's more of a gentle kisser, pecks on the cheek, slow kisses, stuff like that. whenever he starts kissing with tongue, it's a surefire sign that he wants to frag.

8 - oh boy, that award goes to the first time you said you loved him during interface. it was a perfect storm of events, really. having time away from the nemesis + having you on top meant he was already in one hell of a mood.

but then, as he was getting close, you said, "i love you," and he couldn't help himself. his whole body convulsed as he overloaded, and he ended up overloading so hard that he rebooted. it was a little freaky for him, but fuck, he'd do it all over again if he could. he replays that moment in his head when he gets himself off.

11 - that depends. if it's him taking care of you, he's not great at it, but it's not for a lack of trying. he just doesn't have the experience. give him some pointers, and he'll learn quickly.

if it's him receiving, he gets grumpy about it. he's the mighty starscream! he can take care of himself! seriously, though, if he wanted you to stop taking care of him, he'd push you away. power through his grumpiness and he'll eventually let himself lean into it.

Me when i just wanna yell about Ruthlessness from EPIC:The Musical and When The Pieces Crumble because I am that one lad who is 100% normal /silly /sarc

AND THATS WHAT IM ABOUT TO DO-

Now, this won't be a line by line because, for me, this would be more or less structured as Fable & Centross arguing and them going between whose Poseidon and Odysseus. Where, eventually, Centross gets settled as Odysseus and Fable as Poseidon.

Now, just the whole concept of this being an argument and the ideology of "Ruthlessness is Mercy Upon Ourselves", being involved in it (to me) comes from the aspect of Centross lived by Enderians "Ruthlessness" until he separated himself from her and 'The Violet Reaper' taking Enderians "Ruthlessness" with him and using that to make his own "Ruthlessness". You can see that Centross tried his best to hold this in and until the Cave where he just went for it and showed what his "Ruthlessness" is and its motives because that was his fate. That was where he would end and be rebirthed.

In contrast, Fables 'Ruthlessness' is his way to get his point across of, if you live by the sword, you die by the sword. And it's the fact you can see this imprinted on certain characters,mainly the birb boi Icarus,but also those who worked with him during the War and ended up dying by Fables hand (Delta, Ven e.t.c)

Now drag away from these two for a second and look at Icarus. They're sitting here watching this take place and trying to figure out whose is right and whose is wrong. So this would make it inevitably harder for Ic to chose what to do after the events that have played out. However, because Fable yk came out alive, he would essentially have the upper hand to twist Centross' "Ruthlessness" to get Ic to help him with his plan instead of them leaving him to his own.

25. What is your favorite thing about your OC?

Oof, this is going to be a long one. You did ask for an info dump, here I go. Writing it down, I'm seeing a pattern with my main OCs :/

Ly'rill (The OG)

- Design wise, the markings that she has now. Something that pop into my brain that went, "What if her markings are like Ammy from Okami? Like, only the ones who have true faith in beings like her can see her markings."

- They're hot-headed despite her looking calm, let's just say it took practice to mask their anger and when they need to release that pent up anger, she'll go to her domain and burn shit. Sometimes, Cathrin is more than happy to be in her line of sight (these two are horny for each other and her logic brain goes out the window, "Angry tiny woman who can incinerate her into non-existence hot.")

Astrel (birb)

- Her feather slowly gaining its color (I wont elaborate too much because it's still tbd). Notice that before I drew her with dark hair/feathers and now she had red stripes, yeahhhh. She used to colorful feathers before trauma happened when she was very young

- She can easily change a topic about herself to something else, and she's a great liar if she wants to. But, she does have trouble lying to people who she cares and has a genuine heart.

- He's a fairly new addition, so I don't have much info on him except he bakes and really, what more can I add than this.

4. Character with the best voice acting?

For reference, I play with the english dub.

I had this opinion for years and still remains the same: Yuri Lowenthal goes HARD as Pure Vanilla. I always was so amazed at the way he plays such a soft-voiced character, but when he needs to portray strong emotions, gosh it sounds so impactful to me. My favorite PV voice by a million miles.

And I must add another one, I love his voice acting just as equally: Kamran Nikhad's Wildberry is AWESOME and I love his portrayal so so dearly. I also love how Kamran shows so much love to Wildberry and enjoys playing as him ♡.

8. A hot take you have?

I love Odyssey so much, it is one of my favorite storylines of the game and I do not get why people say that it was disappointing. At most, I think chapter 3 could have had better pacing execution of it's events, but that's it gkbgjgj.

Saph uses he/xe/it/they while Verde is Xe/they.

Saph despite being taller and looking older is the youngest sibling at age 14 while Verde is the oldest child at 15.

Their parents are Kites and they were pushed to choose a faction other than Kites by their family.

If I fully decide to give them two more siblings there woudl be a sibling in every faction(family gatherings are a chaotic event)

Both actually have wings! They just hide em for reasons.

(In context of Hyman Cruppy) Verde thinks Owen is Cruppy’s guardian as xe see Owen watching Cruppy most of the time. Saph knows Owens stuck on babysitter duty.
