How come everybody is so , and ? We have to admit that even after so much time, we don’t have an answer. After months of visits to our , all of them were smiling as they did the first time we met. Here, we are not talking about few visits but more than 50 to single . Sometimes we were thinking that the source of all this probably comes from too much of fresh air or from never-ending around them or from and food they . Sometimes we thought it must be because we were always so cute. In the end, good things are not to be questioned but rather nourished and taken care of not to be spoiled.

BIG BERRY Story - Partners 👍 “At Big Berry, each was started perfectly with a hand-delivered of treats; breads and pastries, yoghurts, fresh fruit, cheese and eggs, each day looked forward to discovering the new goodies that would be awaiting us on our balcony.” Sarah & Nathan, @exploringkiwis ______________________________________________ The with local producers was the one thing missing to make us who we are and what we offer today. Being the pilot for the whole BIG BERRY concept, the on Kolpa in was, among other things, the test for the products featured in the resort. We didn’t have any doubt in the quality of the local and that is why we proudly presented all our 27 partners to our guests this summer, the incoming and journalists, who were to make their own “evaluation” of what we had to offer. It turned out to be great and everyone was amazed by the quality of the products. We hope to make even more partnerships next year and we are very excited to see how it will work out in the other locations, where again we will do everything to find the best of the offer. A new project for this season begins this weekend: Mastermind

For this project we will invite outstanding people who want to share their knowledge and experiences with the BIG BERRY team.

For our first Mastermind, we will have the participation of Samo Kenda, founder of Berryshka company and partner of BIG BERRY. This year, Berryshka, will have new features in their company that the BIG BERRY team will be involved in!

Also, and as icing on the cake, we will have our new BIG BERRY Chef Syu Poropat, cook at the Hotel Kempinski Palace in Portoroz, delight us with innovative desserts cooked with products of Berryshka. A great combination to make this second weekend a success!

Their beers are produced only with , without any additives or artificial flavours! Charming Maja presented us 12 different beers and explained everything about . Vizir is also one of the biggest and oldest wineries in Bela Krajina." Although it produces few beer varieties, which are traditionally beers, people are starting to recognize the and flavor of beers – from pale ale to strong dark beer flavors. These microbreweries are multiplying every year and we cannot wait to see if they will one day take over the throne. Until then we will enjoy our beer from Vizir. Mmmm 🍻

Did you know that Kmetijska zadruga Metlika is the biggest wine producer from ex-Yugoslavia, who first started produce ice wine (the first bottle was made in 1996)? Or the fact that the first bottle of Rose was made accidentally just because they didn't have enough space in the storage (it was in 1981, by the way)? 🍾 The story of wine producers is a big journey throughout the year!
