i don't think i'll ever be a gainer with big impressive numbers, but now that i'm pushing into unexplored territory with my weight i'm actually just so pleased to be going my own pace. I'm not at my highest weight, but it's hard to judge what that was because I was so active (i wouldn't say athletic bc i feel like implies i played sports with any kind of noteworthy skill) before and also hadn't had top surgery at that time. Anything extra at this point I consider to be new weight.

It's exciting? I'm excited to see if I like my body in a new shape? My fat distribution is so different from before and the flatness of my chest just really emphasizes if my stomach is thicker. I look so much hotter already it's mind-boggling to think that I'm not even close to the kind of fat I want to be??? It's different from transitioning for me; transitioning was about finding a shape to live in that was tolerable but gaining weight is about finding a shape that feels lovable. And through that, and a loving partner, I'm also finding my trans self more lovable. it's like this weird feedback loop of self love i've never experienced before 😵‍💫
