Beautiful Tomorrow Part 5: The Crimson-Lit Road Home

Rie: Waahahaha! From this moment, these lesson grounds belong to us!

Satori: Yes, yes. Hurry up and get ready.

Rinne: It’s time to start another day of fun lessons~! ...Wait, huh? Honopii?

Honoka: What you want to be—that is, your goal—that’s sort of like a signpost or a map, right?

Honoka: So is there really a path I can take where I can be a hero and a seiyuu? What is it I really want to be? ...That kind of thing.

Honoka: What if I’ve misread this map? What if I’ve made a mistake and I’m way off-course from where I should be heading? I can’t stop worrying...

Mei: Do you think you have made a mistake, then?

Honoka: I mean, probably not...but right now, I just don’t know.

Mei: Is it hard thinking about it?

Honoka: I guess? Ahaha, I kind of only just noticed, but yeah.

Playground: Night.

Honoka: Hey, do you have anything like that, Mei? A goal? Something you want to become?

Mei: I wouldn’t call it a goal. I do have a signpost, though.

Honoka: I see...

Honoka: ...I don’t know if it’s okay for me to say this, but...how long are you planning on being with Rie?

Mei: ...Huh?

Honoka: Say you keep following that signpost until it comes to an end. What will you do next? Have you ever thought about it?

Mei: No, I’ve never thought about that.

Mei: I don’t even want to imagine it.

Honoka: Of course...Oh, my bad! That was kind of a weird thing to ask.

Mei: ...

It starts to rain.

Honoka: Ugh, rain?

Mei: Seems so.

Honoka: Let’s run for it! The station isn’t far from here.

Door opens. Mei walks in.

Rie: Oh, there you are. It’s rather late, you know?

Mei: Indeed. I was...talking with Honoka-san for a bit.

Rie: Oh yeah? What about?

Mei: About the future.

Rie: About the future?

Mei: Yes.

Mei: ...About the far, far future.

- he would only scream at you if his comments of telling you to shut up weren’t working

- then he’d just get pissed off because hey ? how else can he tell you to shut up in a nice way except

you smiled softly eyes never meeting his as he stared ahead not turning to look at you “ tsukki how can you tell me to look at you — then you don’t look at me“ your laugh rang out in the gym loud enough for him to hear and for his body to tighten reminding him why he was pissed off right now

His head turning to you smile spread across his face tightly, eyes roaming your face until he spoke voice holding a tone that rivaled the sweet look on his face “ I swear on hinata and the kings freaky quick y/n —if I hear your laugh one more time i’m going to suffocate you and pound you in the head with a volleyball “

your eyes widened as you turned away from the male “ no no no turn back around baby i’m not done yet “

you followed his words hanging on every word as he continued “ you’ve been chewing my ear off all fucking practice and i’m —look it’s pissing me off you talk talk talk and I really doubt “

“ YOU DUMBASS THEIR JUST JOKING “ kageyamas voice raced through the room as he slapped hinatas head hard enough that sent him straight to the gym floor eyes rolling back in his head tears leaking out slowly

“ you may continue y/n-senpai we—we all give you“ kageyamas eyes twinkled in love before they went cold tsukishimas own eyes rolling with a small scoff “ and shittyshima our attention”

you turned to look at your boyfriend mock confusion on your face “ god tsukki you should have just told me you liked hinata better I would have let you go then “ you shook your head as he scoffed at your next words your face falling to sadness eyes searching his pure disappointment laced throughout your voice

“ yes “ his answer was short and low but you knew he understood you as he moved to take his glasses off watching through blurry eyes as you left the gym

Daichi dropping a wide eyed nishinoya to the ground and letting go of his grip on a mouth foaming tanaka “ the reason I said you guys didn’t need to help is because — I trust that y/n knows how to handle a situation like that on their own “ he laughed “ how else would they be dating our wonderfully polite first year if they couldn’t take him “

Your head popped back in the gym as you winked over at the boy knowing he couldn’t see it. Body stopping in a halt while cleaning his glasses you were right he couldn’t see you but he could feel you were there —he could feel something evil lurking changing the air in the once breathable room silently cursing himself out in his head for talking to you the way he did earlier “ oh yeah and guys “

everyone turned to you as he muttered out a low fuck “ tsukishima — your star shit talker yeah—he wears dino undies “ you smiled brightly “ with matching socks “

You turned to hinata already knowing what he was going to ask when you left “no you can’t —he and yams already have matching pairs “ you turned to yams his face red and slowly moving away from everyone else in embarrassment “ sorry babes’—one goes down you all go down together “

the door slamming echoed throughout the gym as everyone went quiet kageyamas voice the first to come out as he tried to stifle his laughs, Coach ukai laughing softly before catching himself and screaming at tsukishima to clean himself and his bench up, the team turning away as nishinoya and tanaka defeated the rest of the boys ego in comments asking how many pairs he had while hinata asked if he ever wanted to match he and yams could go shopping for the taller male.

Yamaguchi to the boys rescue as he watched him clean off his glasses and throw them back on. Tsukishimas hand only reaching out to his side with a low sigh to eat the remaining bit of cake youd just smashed in his face “ god — so perfect “

Suna

-he would get so upset if you keep annoying him about trying. it goes with or for anything

-you would be telling him could he at least put a bit more effort into the relationship and he’d spazz

-or even you telling him the reason you had to drag him out tonight was because, there was no food at home and he would get mad assuming you just wanted to take him from the comfort of his own home

The quiet was loud and spoke for itself as you and the male before you sat across from each other in the restaurants booth. The air swirling in and out of your ear as you waited for him to say something.

Your eyebrows furrowed before you opened your mouth to speak “ bab- “

“ I didn’t want to come out tonight “

your face fell as you waited for him to continue speaking only for him to go deadly silent, uninterested gaze stuck on yours, his body relaxed and leaned down into the booth head thrown back to show off his half lidded eyes. His legs outstretched under the table god he looked so lazy.

Your mind raced thinking how was it even possible to look lazy In public

Your mouth tucked into itself before you let it go a small sigh leaving it “ suna there was no foo— “

“ I wanted to eat at home “ even though he looked relaxed you could tell his voice was tense.

You could feel your body losing itself at his behavior he was such a child when he didn’t get what he wanted and when he was forced outside. Throwing tantrums and whining any time you brung him shopping or stayed out too long and he would start to miss his houses comfort

Your weight getting pulled into the ground to a pit of anxiety. you just wanted to disappear you knew he was leading you down the trail of his attitude.

One more time that’s all it would take one more question , statement, anything spoken and he would snap.

It wasn’t often that it happened but when it did it wasn’t pretty

you heard the scoff that left his mouth as his eyes widened a bit before going back to their half lidded state causing you to shift in your chair uncomfortably

“ so you figured it out — “ he laughed softly “ so now instead of speaking your mind like usual your gonna try to stop the argument before it starts “

His arms came down on the table in a huff his face showing a small smirk before it dropped “ gotcha baby —i’ll play —look who’s coming over here “

“ HI, what can I get you guys today “ the lady smiled at you as you dropped your head shaking it carefully already knowing what was going to take place

you smirked thought about teasing your boyfriend yet again “ no I bought a sandwich remember “

“ but no really jokes aside —can you actually bring me a “ your mouth moved fast as you asked for your favorite food and for it to be brought out and packaged in a to go box the shared table quiet between you two him never looking up until the waitress came back about 10 minutes later

Her hands stuffed full with 2 boxes and a small one containing the dessert you ordered “ thank you “ you smiled widely

Legs moving to stand as suna followed deciding to make yet again another sly comment“ so you did all this just to buy us dinner to go? real fucking classy y/—“

“ who said us ? “ you let out a small laugh as you took a glance at his face your eyebrows furrowing before they relaxed

“ suna this is for me “

“ wh—“

“ your right we are going home “

“ home but ? we— I didn’t get anything to eat “

you laughed walking off opening the door to the restaurant watching as he stayed still his body never moving from the booth you two sat at moments ago “ baby there’s nothing at home remember “

"Hello?.... Tsukki?" you asked the person who's on the call.

" Hmmm... Yachi, ya...chi?" said the person on the phone.

" Uhm, Tsukii it's me...... I'm not yachi" you whispered the last words you said.

Half of you doesn't want to hear what he wants to say to yachi, why he's searching for yachi, many thoughts flash at the back of your head.

I'm your girlfriend Tsukki, I'm your girlfriend... Do you still love her? Do you still love the person who left you behind? Your ex-fiancee that chose another man?

Those are the questions that you want to ask him until he said-

" Yachii.... I love..... you..be...*hic*" The call ended. That's the words you've heard from the other line that made your knees weak and cried loudly while gripping yoir phone.

" Aha... So she's still there.... am I not enough Tsukki?" you said and cried.

After few hours his you saw him in front of your door, drunk

After the incident

" Y.../n?? You're eyes... It's red.... Did someone made you cry?? Who is it? Tell me.." he just woke up and saw your eyes and that made him a little bit of panic.

" Tsukki it's no one, I just watched a movie that made me cry so hard" lies

"I still love him, I can't let him go.."

That's what you thought last night that's why you decided to lie.

" Oh... Is that so? Then please take care of your eyes, its too beautiful" he smiled nd kiss your eyes.

After a few months of being a fool acting like you didn't notice that he's being cold to you. Until-

You saw him with Yachi in a fancy restaurant with genuine smile that he never did when he's with you.

Just the sight seeing his smile and knowing that reason of his smile is not you, it made your heart feel like it is stabbed by a million knives.

That night you decide to broke up with him, you wrote a letter and left it on the bed with the necklace he gave to you.

You decided to left the country and cut off all of your contacts, deciding no one will know where you are while healing.

Its all misunderstanding..... can we still go back? ...

He love me, he loved Yachi.

He's smiling genuinely while talking about me to Yachi.

The call that happened is all misunderstanding, he thought I was Yachi, telling her that he love her before, and he loves me now.

I'm sorry I misunderstood the situations, I'm so dumb to let you go, I want you back, I'm sorry

But it's too late, is it really too late?

That's the letter you saw while cleaning your room.

You smiled.

Im so happy that Tsukishima found me and clear all the misunderstandings.

But it's really too late cause he became the father of Yachi's daughter. Yachi put something on his drink when they were at the restaurant that made Tsukishima lost his mind.

I still love you but it's time to let you go.

Shuu is such a playful asshole if he uses your fetish Ghoul eye color change against you. Nishiki and Neji know that you are Shuu's territory and partner and he won't tolerate trespassing on you, but nothing stops from just teasing you. Especially if Shuu himself suggested it. You are sitting in the closed Anteiku and chatting with Toka, you feel movement behind you, you see the girl looking somewhere behind you, but trying not to show any signs of recognition, and you turn around yourself, seeing Tsukiyama's beautiful suit in front of you. Tsukiyama smiles hello at you and your mind immediately flashes from "what have I done?" to "Shuu wants something from me", he licks his lips and you immediately look at them and the flashed tip of his tongue. You giggle and step back, immediately bumping into an obstacle that turns out to be Nishiki, also smiling slyly, his hands already resting on your shoulders. For some reason there is not even a thought inside you that you might have driven the society of dangerous monsters to a state of madness and your death. Shuu lets out a guttural growl and you immediately react to it, he shows his sharp teeth under your ragged breathing, he lowers his face toward yours, his normal eye color changing to a black sclera with red pupils. You feel movement behind you, pulling away from your changed eyes at Shuu, Nishiki who has also growled his changed eyes, rubbing his nose into your head, sinking lower and inhaling your scent. A shiver runs through your body at the sight of two dangerous men ready to attack you at any moment, not not noticing the tall Neji emerge from behind or even from somewhere on the side, leaning over and rubbing against your neck with a semblance of a rumble. You come to your senses for a moment and make a pitiful whimpering sound and squeeze your legs together, Ghouls already smelling your arousal and smiling contentedly. Tsukiyama pulls his face away from yours, looking somewhere in the distance, and suddenly withdraws, replaced by the curious Toka. You watch with ragged breath as her eyes darken, her pupils change and glow, and she herself grins, showing sharp teeth. You groan to the giggles of the four altered beings. The next moment, Toka activates her kagune, spreading it behind her back, making you freeze even more, and the others echo her example, even if you can't see them. Nishiki only holds you and sniffs you, Neji suddenly kisses your neck and the area between your neck and shoulder, trying not to leave a mark but lightly touches the skin with the fangs, Toka runs her hands over your human body, listening to the sound of your beating heart and smelling your arousal. Without holding back, she strokes your thighs with her palms, watching your legs tremble. Tsukiyama lets out a quiet growl and hiss as he enjoys your reactions to the caress from the many hands and sounds the Ghouls make and comes up to you, kissing you, running his tongue into your mouth. The kagune, which was not wrapped around master's arms, twitches slightly behind back and you thought they glowed a little more.
