i’m home sick with the flu and i just received this email from my father

Hoist the Colors

Come one, come all to venture to Black Pearl College and join them in their annual treasure hunt! Somewhere in the island, close to where the school resides, a treasure is buried saying to hold something legendary. Some say it’s part of a loot of a thousand worlds, others say it’s the heart of the Phantom Captain himself, and some say that it’s clues on where to find the lost Captain’s Organ that took them off the map and cursed them with skeletons that wander the jungle.

Night Raven College, Royal Sword Academy, Noble Bell College and a variety of schools have been invited to take part in this grand treasure hunt. They’re in crews based on their school and do their best to outwit the competition and find the treasure. Will you be part of the winning crew or will you end up at the bottom of the sea?

How to Enter

You can either draw a card, make voice lines, write a fic, whatever you want! Get creative!

Rules

Fan schools are allowed to participate

You can enter as many ocs as you want

Keep it PG, PG13 at most. I’m making this event about adventure and the life of a pirate

SHIPS ARE OPTIONAL!

Don’t use AI for entries

I will be making voice lines for my characters only! Canon characters are open for your hearts content if you choose to use them

If I catch you being rude or disrespectful to others, you will be removed from this event. Nobody is harassing anyone else on my watch

If you draw a card, the outfit must be pirate inspired

This rank was created in honor of a woman called the Sea Witch. When the Phantoms arrived, the economy collapsed as funds immediately went to crafting weapons and defenses from the foes. It left little money behind for the people to survive. Poverty reigned for those who had nothing left. Taxes kept rising and some couldn’t even make ends meet. Except for the wealthy. The rich managed to survive and didn’t spare a single coin to those struggling. It was hard to tell if someone had died from a Phantom or poverty, as the dirty dead bodies often looked like a Phantom’s kill.

That’s when the Sea Witch came into play.

It’s thanks to her that the common folk are still alive. She made deals with the rich to take their wealth and deals with the poor to give them the wealth she took. She took some that she hadn’t dealt away and used it to provide for the poor unfortunate souls, offering little charge. Eventually her influence spread to the military. She used her influence to fund for weapon development and what would eventually become construction for the wall. She joined the military to further her connections and ended up paying the ultimate price just seven years of service. While many mourned her loss, her employees further her services in her honor and the common still have some excess to money.

Those assigned to this rank are known for their benevolence. They’re always helping their fellow comrades, but you must pay back for their kindness. They’re tied with Scarabia for the most intelligent rank. A lot of people in the rank are smart, both book smart and street smart and will use their skills to their advantage to get what they want. The one who gets to the top is known as the Witch. The Witch is often called the trickiest member and you know who was the Witch in their class.

On their uniforms, they have a patch of the rank’s symbol on their heart area of their jacket, and a lavender and black band around their arm. They use tridents for their weapons. The Witch has a silver trident with octopus tentacles designs on the handle while the other members have some sort of underwater design. The tridents are black with silver accents. There’s an even number of people spread throughout the positions of the military.
