Master the Cloud: How to Become an Azure Admin Expert with the Right Course
In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, cloud computing has become the backbone of many businesses, and Microsoft Azure is a key player in this space. As companies continue to migrate their operations to the cloud, the demand for skilled Azure administrators is skyrocketing. If you're aiming to become an Azure Admin Expert, the journey begins with selecting the right Azure Administrator Course. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to master the cloud and build a rewarding career as an Azure admin.
Why Become an Azure Admin Expert?
Before diving into the how-tos, it's important to understand why becoming an Azure admin is such a valuable career move. Azure admins are responsible for managing cloud services that span networking, storage, security, and computing power within the Microsoft Azure platform. Their role is crucial for ensuring that an organization’s cloud infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.
The average salary for an Azure administrator in the U.S. ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and location. With a growing demand for cloud expertise, there's never been a better time to enter this field.
Step 1: Choose the Right Azure Administrator Course
Your first step towards becoming an Azure Admin Expert is selecting the right Azure Administrator certificate course. A comprehensive course will cover essential topics such as Azure architecture, services, virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity management. Look for a course that offers hands-on labs, real-world scenarios, and access to Azure environments for practice.
Step 2: Gain Hands-On Experience
Theoretical knowledge is important, but hands-on experience is what truly sets you apart as an expert. Make sure your chosen course includes practical exercises that allow you to apply what you've learned. Many courses offer sandbox environments where you can experiment without fear of breaking anything. Additionally, consider working on personal projects or contributing to open-source Azure projects to further sharpen your skills.
Step 3: Get Certified
Certification is a powerful way to validate your skills and knowledge. After completing your Azure Administrator Course, aim to pass the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate exam (AZ-104). This certification demonstrates your ability to manage and monitor Azure environments and is highly regarded by employers.
Step 4: Stay Updated and Continue Learning
The cloud landscape is continuously evolving, and so should your skills. Microsoft regularly updates its Azure platform, and staying current is essential for maintaining your expertise. Follow industry blogs, attend webinars, and participate in Azure-related communities to keep your knowledge fresh. Many courses also offer ongoing updates and advanced modules to help you stay ahead of the curve.
Step 5: Build a Network and Join the Azure Community
Networking with other professionals in the Azure community can provide valuable insights, job leads, and opportunities for collaboration. Join online forums, attend virtual meetups, and connect with others on LinkedIn. Being part of a community will help you stay motivated and informed about the latest developments in the field.
Conclusion
Becoming an Azure Admin Expert is a journey that starts with choosing the right Azure Administrator Course. By gaining hands-on experience, earning certification, staying updated, and building a professional network, you can master the cloud and position yourself for a successful and lucrative career. The cloud isn't just the future—it's the present. Make your move today and start your path to becoming an Azure Admin Expert.

Hot take, but I think MK is only focused on the city/innocent people mainly because of how it contributes to his vision of a "hero". Like yeah, obviously he cares, but he's so much more focused on his own life and his own friends rather than the greater good (which, valid). Like I think of instances like the end of 2x03, where they distinctly don't help clean up after Pigsy's ping-pong relapse, and the fact that we've only seen MK helping strangers TWICE in the whole show (2x05, where he attempts to stop spider queen by aiding who he thinks is an innocent girl, and those old ladies in 4x01, partly a result of his guilt over LBD), and it's just like. My mans is not his own definition of a hero ("We help people! I mean I- I help people!").
In AHIB MK steals a civilian's hover bike, and he didn't give it back (we see it show up again in 1x09). In 1x01 it's "What about my friends? The city? They're all counting on me!", with his friends notably first. In 4x02 Azure highlights "It's too late to save them! We can't risk unleashing the curse into the world!" to which MK replies "You don't know, we'd risk it for sure!". MK has already chosen his friends over the world. He'll do it again. I think of the end of s3 and his words: "The perfect world is what you make it—so as long as I have my friends by my side, this world! Is! Perfect!".
MK has spent the first 4 seasons of this show maintaining the status quo. Unlike the Lady Bone Demon and Azure, who try to bring about real change, MK is reactionary. He has to be pushed into taking action or solving problems. He's fixing what other people break rather than taking a stand himself. MK doesn't embody a typical selfless hero—which, tbh he doesn't need to, it's why I find him so interesting. He's so obsessed with being the hero and being a "good guy" that he's almost missed the trees for the forest.
Like, MK's defining moment as a "hero" who helps others (set up in 2x07) is saving Mei in 3x10. Saving his best friend. The only reason he had the determination to reach out to Mei at all was because she was so close to him. We see something similar to samadhi fire Mei play out in 4x14 with Jade Emperor Azure, and MK doesn't save him. MK let's Wukong stop him from reaching out to Azure. Azure dies.
I love this guy
#This is why I dislike when people compare MK to Steven (Universe)#Like there are similarities. Of course there are. BUT THEY ARE AT THEIR CORE NOT THE SAME#STEVEN WOULD HAVE SAVED AZURE. MK DIDN'T.#Anyways be prepared for lmk post spam I am biting my teeth rn#AND LOOK. LOOK. IT'S NOT THAT MK'S NOT A GOOD KID OR THAT HE DOESN'T HELP ANYONE#HE'S JUST WAY MORE FOCUSED ON HIS OWN LIFE AND HIS OWN FRIENDS AND HIS OWN GOALS#In general MK gets very tunnel visioned. He's short sighted. His main goal is to help his friends which usually also helps the world#HE'S GIVING PERCY JACKSON OKAY#lmk#lego monkie kid#lmk MK#lmk analysis#imp tag

laying in bed thinking about how Wukong is a people pleaser and this part of him gets frequently overlooked due to the focus on his hot-headedness/impulsivity
#Monkie Kid#lego monkie kid#tagging LMK cause i do think it uses this part of him#to add in events while still having him remain in Character#like of course Azure and the others convinced him to not be afraid and take on heaven#before heaven's army could arrive on his doorstep and force him to fight like in the books#like. he got kicked out of school because the other students encouraged him to show off#this is one hundred percent in character for him#if he got a single compliment he'd go along with whatever that person said when he was young#which is also part of how the Gold Star of Venus convinced him to get a job in Heaven#which Wukong was originally uninterested in#the fight against heaven + the mountain jaded him which made him more easily angered#(yknow. like a reasonable response to trauma)#but EVEN STILL during the Journey HE'S STILL A PEOPLE PLEASER#and then by the time of LMK he's mellowed out more which MAKES SENSE.#i could do a whole entire more formally written analysis about this but this is what i've got#brain cannot brain any more than this#anyways obligatory my opinions are my own and i respect anyone who disagrees with me tag#anyone who has another opinion is wonderful and valid but these are my thoughts

Tw implied intimacy
This is defo something that Jing likes about Azure. The purring.
They couldn’t have pets because when Nezha was younger he would terrorize ize them. Ie the koi fish pond incident.
Nezha in the distance: “Those fuckers had it out for me I’m telling you!
AHEM! So yeah, no oets, meaning Jing likely never had a cat. So him discovering azures purring…
Jing, laying atop azure: “???…What the…?”
Azure, cuddling Jing: (Purring intensifies)
Jing, starry eyed: “oh.”
It’s something that would bring Jing great comfort, (since you know how cats purring can reduce stress?) and now, post s5, if Jing was feeling particularly stressed or overwhelmed he would Climb in azures lap and just listen to him purr to calm himself down.
Azure loves the cuddles, and is happy to help his Kitten out when he’s feeling down.

being a gunvolt fan is great because there's so many characters with like maybe 10 minutes of screentime, a handful of lines, and a backstory with a lot of empty space, who you can just scoop up and say "mine now" and then draw them a whole bunch as if they were your oc. it's like rent-a-blorbo
#azure striker gunvolt#azure striker gunvolt 2#asg#ghauri#my art#based some of these on some of his concept art n stuff because i love making crumbs into a full course meal. yum#anyways yeah hi i still have gunvolt on the brain in the year 2024. it be like that

Azure: "How could you love this man over me?!" Wukong *holding Sanzang's hand*: "Easily." Azure: "He is pathetic! He isn't a warrior! He'd probably tell you to calm down and think about consequences instead of encouraging you to smite your foes into the dust and striking fear in everyone's hearts like the demon king you are!!" Wukong *down on one knee proposing to Sanzang*: "Yes! I know! You don't have to hard sell me!" Azure: Spending your days on your mountain with him instead of on the battlefield of constant, glorious combat! Turning you soft by encouraging you to be 'a better man'! Do you want the rest of your life to be naps in the sun, lazing about about with your monkeys, while this man spoils you like a pet?! When you should be with me and our brothers as we siege over heaven to take our rightful places as true kings!?!" Wukong *Carrying Sanzang bridal style while he's in a suit and Wukongs wearing a dress*: The hell did I JUST say you f**king weirdo!?
Azure is so jealous.
He wants grand things, to be a heroic warrior and king and to take over Heaven yada yada yada, but deep down he also wants that life that Sanzang is getting with Wukong. It's a slap in the face that Wukong never asks him to be like that with him.
He asks everyone else but him.
He asks Macaque to sit and eat fruit with him, to let him groom DBK, to sun with Peng, to splash with Yellowtusk, and Azure's on the side starving for that attention, for any attention that isn't dedicated to taking over Heaven or sparring or whatever.
(Look at me, Wukong. Why won't you look at me like that? Why won't you smile at me like that?
Why don't you care about me like you do everyone else?)
Anyway, Sanzang has been adopted by fifty monkeys already, he's gonna teach them how to meditate.
#Stars Answers#Lionpeach#Tripsun#Tangsun#Suntang#Azure Lion#Sun Wukong#LMK#Monkie Kid#LEGO Monkie Kid#HC that Azure only talked about taking over Heaven with Wukong bc that's the only way he got to hang out with Wukong and hear him say:#“you and me.” Like he wanted to hear.#Not understanding that Wukong assumes that all Azure cares about in their friendship is Heaven so of course he's gonna focus on that.

On the Road Again
Summary: Wukong's come to enjoy his life as a small town sheriff. It's quiet, the townsfolk are kind (for the most part), and he's got a fresh cup of coffee every morning.
That doesn't mean he'd turn down an opportunity to deliver cattle to a town a week's ride south, especially not when MK's excitement is so contagious over it.
Content Warning(s): Cursing
Word Count: 1828
What do you mean it's November already.
----------
Of all the things he could've grown into, Wukong never thought it'd be the shoes of a small town's sheriff.
His youth had long shaped his life to follow the guidelines of a nomad of the eastern countries, forever drawn to the calling of the wind and the grass stomped beneath the hoof of a rust-colored horse. After all, he had little but the soft hiss of sand within his hourglass of life to worry about- a force that'd kindled his rising desire to experience the world.
Er, at least the "world" that was western America.
But Wukong had never taken much interest in the eastern states anyway. He'd long heard tales of the culture there, one that frowned upon the thrills of what life could offer to those willing to risk their young life. He'd much preferred the west's strong ties with nights full of gambling and drinking, of the days he could wake just shy of noon and only concern himself with packing up camp before finding a new road to travel down.
He swears he still has a handful of maps he'd constructed that detailed the best towns to visit from California's southern coast to Wyoming's new northeast border and everything in-between. The more northern-oriented maps hadn't been used often even back then; the risk of winter's fury became far too unpredictable further up the country.
Not that he'd ever need an excuse not to visit a town. Life had given him the mercy of freedom to do as he pleased. If avoiding the north and eastern areas of the country was what he wished to do, so be it.
Yet decades of living life without roots began to chip away at its charm. No longer was it a thrill to ride atop a horse's back for long periods of time- not with the way his saddle would burn at his thighs or how the natural sway of his ride would twist his stomach into knots.
Instinct's call for stability sang its tune sweeter and sweeter, an oasis in a land that had only ever known of sand and heat. It became only a matter of time before he'd surrender to such a saccharine song.
And so now, at the ripe age of forty, he sits in a chair tipped back just enough to allow his boots to settle on a desk made of pine and a mug of fresh coffee in his hands. It's hardly a relaxing morning despite the peaceful picture it paints, only a thinly veiled mask of calmness beneath the foamed rivers of anxiety.
Wukong lets himself bask beneath the office's air of restlessness, the atmosphere mostly stirred in the occasional pacing his deputy takes up between his readings of mail. It's certainly a reaction he can't blame Azure for.
A town down south- Tucson, the mailing address had read -was inbound for an emergency cattle trade. Apparently, autumn's beginnings hadn't been too kind to the livestock of the town and spurred frantic letters requesting cattle at any cost.
While a damn shame for a town Wukong is fond of for his own reasons, the news had been taken quite well when delivered to a cattle ranch only a five-minute ride from his office.
"We wouldn't mind helping at all!" the wife there had chirped, pleasant as ever. "Don's been meanin' to get rid of some of the cattle anyway."
The corners of his mouth twitch downward, his frown hidden behind the lip of his mug. The couple had asked far too many questions about Tucson's desperation for their livestock and even more follow-up questions about the price the town was willing to pay.
As if a town's livelihood meant nothing if it didn't make them a pretty penny. Such a sentiment had left a taste as bitter as the coffee he now sips on.
He presses two fingers between his eyebrows, squeezing the skin tightly as if it'd do away with the memory. He has better things to concern himself with anyway.
Like making sure he hadn't missed anything for the trip today.
The horses had already been tacked up, their saddlebags chalk full of rations and an array of gun ammunition. He'd even packed an extra rifle, one whose rattle had spooked the other horses in the barn.
The only thing Wukong couldn't account for was a toolkit for cattle hooves. Only the gods knew how frequently those creatures managed to dig a rock too far into their hoof or turn the nail terribly crooked at the most inopportune moments.
Still, it isn't like he'd had normal access to such a kit anyway. He'd left that job to-
"Kid's here."
Wukong's barely able to lift his mug from the table before the office's door swings open, its wood slamming against the doorframe with a force grand enough to rattle the old building. Just as expected it jostles the table beneath his feet in a true testament to MK's excitement.
With his mug back in hand Wukong manages one last swig of his drink, its liquid thick and warm against his tongue. Gods he'll miss it.
"Sheriff!"
"Kid," Wukong greets with a tip of his head. "Ya' ready to head out for the cattle?"
"Yep! Already talked to the Cullens and everything. They've got the herd in a pen just outside of town. We just need to unlatch the gate."
Wukong's eyebrow lifts. "They didn't hold you up, did they?"
"No, but-"
MK pauses, gaze turning curious. Wukong knows the question before it leaves his throat.
Thankfully the sheriff beats the kid to his next words. The last thing he needs is town gossip that he's grown a distaste for the family before he leaves for a month.
"I'm glad," Wukong grins, raising a hand to ruffle MK's hair. The kid only makes an indignant huff amidst his attempts to fix what Wukong had ruined. He can't find himself to feel too guilty about it- a hat will hide whatever MK isn't able to correct on his own.
Speaking of, Wukong snags his own hat from his desk before he stands, gesturing MK towards the door. He doesn't want to linger in town any longer than necessary, especially with such a long ride ahead of them.
"I saddled up Bessy this morning," he tells MK. "I know you don't like her, but she'll be better for you during the trip."
Wukong watches the way MK's face pinches into a grimace despite his attempt to look thankful. Not everyone is born with a poker face, he supposes, though it's something MK will have to learn eventually.
For now, Wukong only clicks his tongue against the roof of his mouth. "Don't give me that look," he chides, no true heat beneath his words. "You'll thank me later."
"Maybe when I'm sixty like you," the kid grins. A small attempt at rebellion so reminiscent of Wukong's youth.
"Sixty, huh?" Wukong echoes, pitching his voice high in faux offense. "If I was sixty I would be in a rocking chair, not taking you outta town."
MK shrugs. It's his smile that gives away his facade of nonchalance.
Behind them the office's door swings open and Wukong can't help but glance from MK to see why.
Azure steps onto the porch, arms crossed as he leans against one of the balcony's poles in a manner that makes his presence blaringly obvious.
The edges of Wukong's patience wane. He's not sure why he'd ever thought today would go completely smooth- gods know this town isn't the type to let people leave without the burden to guilt. Especially not the town sheriff.
"Sheriff?"
Wukong lends himself a thin smile, tipping his hat back toward MK. “Say, kid, why don’t ya’ go grab Bessy and Whiskey from the barn? I forgot to give Azure something.”
Much to his own surprise MK doesn’t question being sent off, the kid’s expression one of understanding before he nods and wonders off toward the town’s main barn. There’s a piece of Wukong that feels both relief and the thin rounding of sadness, certain MK had a similar conversation with his father this morning.
With a sigh Wukong lets himself turn back toward Azure, slipping his hands coolly into his pockets. When the deputy offers no words, he forces himself guide the conversation. “Fine morning to be setting off at.”
Azure nods, though his jaw sets itself tight. “A brisk one.”
Now that sends Wukong’s eyes rolling. Calling today’s morning cold would be like saying he’d never run into a scorpion before. Nothing but a shameless lie.
The sun will only lift itself higher and cast harsher rays- ones that’d already begun to warm the edges of his jacket. Any reprieve in the form of a gust of wind is still as sparring as ever and tinged with the dry heat of the desert.
“Winter isn’t for another month or two,” he dismisses with ease. “The trip should take three weeks at its best, maybe four at its worst.”
“Still cutting it close.”
“Listen, I hate setting off this late too. But those cattle aren’t gonna move themselves and those folk in Tucson aren’t going to wait past winter for them.”
They couldn’t, not from the letters Wukong had been looking over.
“There’s just...” Azure’s brows furrow and Wukong gets the sense he’s not quite sure how to voice his opinion. “A lot of things could go awry.”
He keeps his grin firm, even as he tucks the sentiment away for reflection. Sure, cattle were unpredictable at times, but he doubts there’ll be much trouble with two extremely qualified people herding them.
As such, he snorts. “It’s just a herd of cattle,” he echoes, and then for good measure tacks on, “The kid’s a natural with them too, you should see his work on his old mans’ ranch.”
Yet Azure’s stare remains pinning, shadows casting his expression into one of graveness. “You know that’s not what I’m talking about.”
Wukong barely manages to keep himself from frowning. Azure can’t be too worried about it if he waited until the morning of the trip to bring his concerns to light.
“You’ll be fine,” he decides after a moment. He even offers a pat to the other’s shoulder, a movement that sends the blue tassels at the deputy’s shoulders into motion. “You know just as well as I do that this town doesn’t get much trouble. ‘Sides, what can happen in the three weeks we’re gone?”
“You getting stuck in the snow till spring?”
Wukong lets himself laugh as he beckons MK to finally approach with the horses. Getting stuck in the snow definitely sounded like an adventure reminiscent of his younger years but he supposes that wasn’t here nor there.
He wouldn’t pull such a stunt with the kid at his side anyway. Especially not on MK’s first trip outside of town.
And yet Azure’s composure slips to reveal something unimpressed. Wukong almost takes enjoyment in the doubt his deputy has over his sheriff’s timely return.
“Three weeks,” Wukong reaffirms as he casts a leg over the saddle of a rust-colored horse. It isn’t until MK settles himself in his own horse that the sheriff pulls at his reigns. “Not a day later.”

✧ [ AZURE : APATHY ]
azure's thoughts regarding the event with sai and vera.
— everybody probably hates me due to the lack of reaction i had when vera got injured (not like they've already hated me from the start), but honestly i couldn't care less, it's got nothing to do with me.
while everyone is visiting vera and giving her comfort, i personally think it's best to leave her be, she needs some time out of the crowd after all.
and sai, the suspect... some tried to visit him too, but, eh, not like it matters to me.
khoi though... poor guy, had to witness all that violence happening to his friend.
...
welcome to this world, i suppose.
( sai, khoi, and vera belongs to @bittersweet-adagio / @junebluues )
#btw azure's poor guy is not 'poor guy :(' it's 'sucks to him i guess ._.'#i felt like azure needed to comment on this cuz it's a traumatic event for everyone and that of course is essential#not for him tho lmao#alnst oc: azure#alnst oc: sai#alnst oc: vera#alnst oc: khoi

Hey
Hey @atomiclace
You wanted to hear about my goobers. (In fake Italian accent) I make-a de post
I'll ramble and then drop a bunch of art of them..
Ok so
Lissy and Butch? At each other's THROATS for like. 12-13 years of their life. She was getting shoved around at like. Age four.
For the most part, after about age nine or so she was just like, "I don't have the energy to care about this" but her apathy like. Made this kid mad, so the issues spiked for a bit, but it stopped being physical attacks after she shot Butch and Co with her BB gun when they jumped her after her party.
After the. Gun violence. They kinda like... Cooled off a bit? Her relationship was more chill with Paul than anyone else. He's all Tunnel Snakes Rule and all that, but they've never had any real vendettas against each other personally. She doesn't like Wally, she thinks his older brother is scary (foreshadowing 😔), and she thinks his whole family hates her (they do 😔) so she doesn't interact.
She might not be getting into physical spats with Butch from 11 up, but she's certainly like. Throwing things at him. They're stabbing each other with pencils instead of fistfighting <3. She ends up sitting right in front of him in class and it's. Not her favorite.
Not a whole lot changes after that until the GOAT.
Big changes: 1) she starts avoiding Wally like the plague after breaking into his family's house and like. I think they're vault fanatics and she's literally just living there, she couldn't care less, the brainwashing ain't working, but the Macks fucking terrify her. 2) she ends up picking up a side gig as the tattoo artist (at first to work on her finger dexterity for lock picking, but she stays because she enjoys the job and the money) and that's where her relationship with Butch starts to develop.
Those two bozos go from enemies to coworkers, but it's like. Coworkers >:[. They're relatively amicable, but they'll argue and she'll mess with his stuff when she goes to search his house. They start eating lunch together. She'll bring him food occasionally. The animosity bar is slowly lowering.
After Freddie joins the gang whenever he does, Felicity just kinda goes, "hey man, we've hated each other forever, how about we change that, your gang has all the men, and I need to not be hated by y'all in the future" and Butch is like. "Ew. Sure." And they become Coworkers :|
There's also this like. Very small period of time where they're like. Off and on in like. The world's worst, most awkward, closed off relationship.
That's mostly because Felicity's generally afraid of attempting to date anyone, because the last time she tried that with Amata at age 13, they got busted by the overseer so fast, and she's for sure it's because she tried to date someone and not because the overseer is like. Very against lesbians because that's not gonna help the vault population or something.
Anywho, so she saves his mom before busting out of the vault and then some months later comes back. I have been bullied into the canon 😔
Anywho, she doesn't kill the Overseer, she gets booted out, and then goes back to mourning her dad. She goes back to Rivet City to get some of Dr Li's things to bring them back to the Citadel. That's where she picks up Butch. They start traveling together and it's. Interesting.
They don't. Really know what to do. They aren't fighting anymore, they're not in the same situation they were in, they're both basically orphaned, you know what time it is? If you guessed two idiot teenagers bullying a bunch of small children, you'd be wrong it's the other way around
So they get their asses beat in Lamplight by a bunch of like. 12 year olds and it's not until they're separated by the enclave that Felicity really realizes "aw shit I do like this guy and I do actually care a lot about him" and when they're back home with the GECK, she's like, "hey I know we're like friends n stuff but like. What if we could be like. Dating." And bam they're. Dating question mark.
After Take It Back and her two weeks of being out, they're pretty much like, "yeah no we're dating now"
They head out west after a year in DC, and they make a lil farm a bit away from Goodsprings, and Felicity gets a job as a fragile items courier. She's got the fragile ones because she's not the fastest walker, but she's never had a package break.
OH NO HEADSHOT TIME
So anyway she finally gets back to Butch after like. Five months of him thinking she's dead because Benny stole her pip-boy. She comes home with her party in tow before going to the fort to break her loser out and get her chip back.
She sends Benny to live with Butch and then goes and Yes Mans her way through Vegas while killing as few people as possible and only getting blown up a few times.
She comes back home and is like
"hey Butch, I've slept with other people in the past 8 months"
"ok."
"also I joined another gang in Vegas"
"
"
Anywho, they start the world's worst poly relationship with Benny, she and Butch get married after a few years, she gets off whiskey, they have a baby they name Catherine, all is well.
In like.... 2284(?) Felicity is like, "hey I know we're nice and settled here and we have a five month old, but I wanna go back home for a while cause they don't have any lactation consultants over there" (when she had Catherine, it took forever to see one in the fort full of doctors, so she was like, "I gotta do something")
So they bully the brotherhood into sending a vertibird (maxon was not happy) and went back to DC
They got called by MacCready to come help him after Lucy died, Felicity immediately said yes because she's like, "omg a baby"
So they go over there, live with him and Duncan for a while, and keep watching Duncan while he goes to find the cure.
After MacCready comes back (with Cynthia, my SoSu), they head out and decide they actually want to go back to the Mojave after a year.
They bully the brotherhood into getting them another vertibird, promise to stay in touch with the MacCreadys, and head back to Vegas.
Then they have their son who they name Paul and I haven't thought much past that.
Pictures time yippee
I don't have a lot of drawings of Paul 😔
#azure made a post#of course their relationship is more complex but this is an overview because. spoilers.#fo3 oc: Felicity#butch deloria#butchicity#I'm not gonna tag Benny in this gdhjggbnf it ain't about him

something about mk brutally smashing his head against azures sword till it shattered. something about mei modeling her sword after azures (im insane)
I went ahead and gifed both scenes (which proves that I'm very clearly normal)
So, Mei shatters her family sword defending MK. She then models her sword after Azure's. MK later brutally smashes his head against Azure's sword, cracking it (and Azure) apart. Azure then uses that sword to stitch the universe together, losing his life in the process.
The first thing that comes to mind is the Curse's words, "Such pitiful creatures: cowardly, reckless, monstrosities; all doomed to play a roll in tearing this world apart! To cause nothing but chaos and destruction.", with 4x13 being titled "Rip and Tear" and Azure quite literally tearing the world apart. You trying to do what you think is right but that still leading to bad outcomes—to shattering and breaking and destruction.
Other bonus parallels/contrasts include:
Mei breaking her sword to defend MK, while Azure breaks his sword attacking MK
"But how am I supposed to protect everyone if I don't have my sword!" and then Azure uses his sword to save the entire world aka everyone.
Mei: "If you're not giving everything you have to protect the people you care about you are nothing!" Azure: "I would have done anything in my power to bring them back—but it wasn't in my power, it was in yours." (Using power for the people you care about) (Interesting to note however, Azure is fine with his friends as collateral ((love you 4x10 roar)) where as Mei will put a lot at risk for her friends ((she doesn't object when MK suggests going into the scroll even if it'll risk the curse being released)))
Mei: "What's the point of having power if you won't use it! [...] Inaction is careless! [...] Then maybe you don't deserve power!" Azure: "I did not sacrifice everything simply to be an idle deity! I will do what my predecessor did not!" (Aka those who deserve power are those who will use it)
Both were totally willing to sacrifice Wukong for their goals (Mei in 3x12 and Azure throughout s4, but especially in the special)
Mei: "Wukong knew the risks—that's the hard part of being a hero!" Azure: "Nothing is won without sacrifice!"
Jade Emperor Azure and Samadhi Fire Mei as containers for uncontrollable power (I talk about this one a lot)
Do we think "How could you lead us into this fight without a real plan!" applies to the Brotherhood's attack against heaven
They really did not need to have Mei model her sword after Azure's, so I wonder if this is building to an eventual "Mei V MK" fight (where Mei is most likely fighting MK to save MK) and Mei uses her sword to protect herself from one of the people she cares about.
I feel like there's more to the sword situation, but I can't put my finger on it.
#big fan of Mei having modeled her sword after a person who is currently dead#Good for her for having a dead man's weapon#Joining the rest of the gang (excluding MK) finally#MK beating his head against Azure's sword is one of the scariest scenes for me ngl#Like go boy! Let it out!#But also you did not react this way even against LBD in 3x14#Like hmmm idk guys did he get worse over the course of s4#HMMM WAIT HOLD ON#AZURE LBD AND THE JADE EMPEROR ARE THE ONLY 3 CHARACTERS TO HAVE EVER WIELDED A SWORD IN THIS SHOW#HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.#Okay we got two current candidates for who is getting Jade Emperor-ed next season#new tag#jade emperor mei#lmk#lmk gif#lego monkie kid#my gifs#lmk MK#lmk Mei#lmk Azure Lion#lmk parallels#asks#Wait wait wait LBD Samahdi Fire mech also wields two swords#HMMM. Swords as proof of *using* power perhaps

" Azure would've been baffled and distraught that being a consort was an option. Of course, he'd prefer to have an accident happen to RinRin and replace her as Wukong's one and only mate but this was an option???" I'm guessing by the distraught and "was" part that azure completely ruined any chances of being a consort. Tsk tsk should have been nicer to rinrin
Azure was petty and RinRin hated him. She made sure to stamp out any and all chances for him to crawl into her marriage.
#queen of the mountain#answered ask#azure vs. rinrin#of course our girl won#wukong was oblivious ofc#the queen the king and their warrior au
