Sooo, I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this, but bitch is allowed to have their own opinions but am I the only one who hates Detective stabler?? Like every time his scenes play every fiber of my being gets irritated

Like in season 12, episode 9, where sonya paxton had a face off with stabler and HE blatantly brought up her alcoholic past in the most insensitive and jerk move pissed me off and you can say that he was caught up in moment and his anger got the best of him but what about afterwards?

When he went and knocked on her door, spewing a bunch of nonsense about his daughter just so she wouldn't have to testify in court, and yes, that's good he's protecting his daughter but he shouldn't have taken the files in the first place especially as a Detective because he KNEW the consequences it could inflict upon his child.

And what's worse? He didn't apologize for bringing up paxton's alcoholic breakdown in season 11, only apologizing for not telling about where he got those files from. Now, this is merely a rant for my sake, and keep in mind that I have not watched season 11 in a long TIME and is merely rewatching season 12 simply because I want to duh.

Cus right now, it seems like the only way for me as a player to get there is AAAALL THE WAY AROUND? run a SUPER out-of-the-way path that's literally half the map, to get to a point that's within spitting distance?

i've already done that. I did that during the MSQ. there is no need to do it again. I saw all the hills and rocks and Garlean wrecks. They were cool. Please let me continue with the storytelling.

Poor excuse- you can have world building without being a detriment to the gameplay to the IRL player.

You dont even have to change anything!! just add a little sparkly spot next to a rock face (JUST like Matoya's Cave) that the player can interact with (after they reach a point in the MSQ, just like earlier in StB when you first arrive at Rhalgr's Reach) that says something like, "you find an illusory entrance that leads into a tunnel/find a secret ladder leading onto the hills, it appears to have been made by the Resistance for ease of travel into the other towns. Cross over?"

3. "chocobo porter?"

none exists in that town :( would be a GREAT idea to implement though!!!!!!!!

(yeah like HEY! porters DO exist, there should be more of them! call them resistance fighter porters or something, if having a permanent one is lore-breaking!! (before freeing it from Garleans - "this seems to be a chocobo porter but the trainer and his bird appear to be away." and then after getting past that point in the MSQ - "hi we're back etc etc port you to places you've been before etc etc")

(Edit: actually this holds great potential for an extra flavor in worldbuilding too. It could be a Garlean-operated porter, and if you try to use it before an MSQ point, it could be used as another narratory glimpse into how the typical footsoldier treats the common civilian. "...why would YOU need to travel? Do you have a permit of leave? Then get back to work, before I report you to your superior."

Or "Authorized Military personnel only, sorry."

Or "stay back! don't even THINK about stealing a bird, savage."

Or "hm? Commoners arent allowed to use the porters... ...it's even worse out there, you know."

OR EVEN for inserting some fun and mild tongue-in-cheek subterfuge: "psst, hey, you're with the Resistance, arent you? Me as well. activity around here has really ramped up, so no one will even notice you on one of our birds ... Our chocobos can etc etc Port you where you've been etc etc"

4. "friend/ask for help/it's an mmo?"

no one is around (else i probably would've /emoted at someone and asked them to do me a quick favor and toss me up there if they had the means), friends are offline b/c i'm a night owl, i could (and have) ask for help in novice network but if it's midnight, i'll be honest - not looking to socialize at that time of the night, esp to ping anyone for something so inconsequential. like sometimes i just want to get my quests done and it's annoying to have to ask someone to drop what they're doing so they can travel all the way to me just to... pick me up and plop me down on a rock-face 5 inches away lol.

5. "just click on the green arrow on the right hand side on the map, that leads to the adjoining area, and if there's an aetheryte nearby you can just teleport to that location and run back into this map, which is still you travelling on foot but it dramatically shortens your travel."

I usually did this for places in Heavensward and I'm sad to say that this doesn't work here, bc that's a location (Porta Praetoria) I haven't unlocked yet. :') WHICH SUCKS BC THE AETHERYTE IS RIGHT THEREEEEE

i really enjoy this game. and i want to love this game, but pleaseeee

its so tiring and irritating watching my poor little meow-meow taking the most dumbass ways around to get to places that shouldn't be an issue this late into an expansion LMFAO - like, i am 6 quests away from end of Stormblood MSQ.

I promise squenix, adding some conveniences won't break the lore/world-building/diminish the value of character exploration.

Like I know I have soo many criticisms of s2. I know the amount of effort was put into it and appreciated it soo much like I love Neil's efforts please do not take it this wrong way I love his work. But like why is Azi so naive. He thought its a good idea to help Gabriel Jim without considering his safety. He not listen to Crowley when he mentioned the demons waiting outside the bookshop. He did not understand the nuances of poverty after 5000 years on earth. He was not at all critical of the Metatron's intentions of giving him the promotion.

Basically I my biggest problem was how Azi was written. I feel Neil needed Terry for doing Azi justice. I feel like Neil could have gotten Azi to make the same decision without making him sooooo dumb. He definitely could changed the reason Azi decided to go back to heaven. Like it could have Azi wanting to stop the second coming and Crowley not wanting to make it his problem this time. Or Metatron threatened Crawley so he goes back to keep Crowley safe. So many ways to make Azi not a dumbass. His core characteristics is that he is smart and they keeping proving that wrong.

I'm leaving this fucking fandom (Wild Kratts), I am seriously TIRED of having high hopes on a Wild Kratts fanartist or even AU maker and then boom they FUCKING problematic

And with problematic I don't only mean the ones that are neutrals or ship kcest but also the ones that do stuff like support/defend K-bros NSFW using as a excuse they are talking about the 2D version or even watch irl gore to use as references to do gore art.

Don't get me wrong I draw gore art too but using irl refs is way going too far and it's wrong.

I am just really tired of having situations like

When I saw AZI on screen, I was like; "AZI, YOU'RE ALIVE! I WAS WORRIED ABOUT YOU!"🥹

Then Tech breaks his leg and fights off those troopers all by himself! I was all; "Tech, buddy, are you okay? Do I need to jump through the screen to come and help you?"

And when Omega says; "I packed it full of the shiny stuff!" I loved that part.✨️💎

But then, when Rampart kills that one clone trooper (I forget his name, and I feel really bad about it, but I am super proud of him for standing up to Rampart), I was like; "Rampart...I hope Crosshair kills you."💀👻

But I do feel like Rampart is going to have a redemption like Agent Kallus. I don't know why I think this, but maybe it's because their hair looks kind of similar.

Overall, I enjoyed the two new episodes, and I can't wait for more episodes to come out! The only thing I'm upset about is that I haven't seen my buddy yet.😥😭🥺

Also Via Rail up here in Canada should run more trains west of Ontario, and said trains should run more than like twice a week.

Having two transcontinental routes again would be amazing, bringing back the Super Continental for the northern route, and rerouting the Canadian back into CP trackage, finally connecting cities like Calgary and Regina, as well as tourist destinations like Banff and Lake Louise to passenger rail for the first time since 1990.

More interprovincial routes west of the corridor would be amazing as well. If the track could be repaired, the Malahat could resume service after 13 years of being indefinitely suspended, and Vancouver Island could have passenger rail again. The return of passenger rail between Calgary and Edmonton would allow for one of the more populated corridors in the country to be served by passenger rail, and would also connect the Canadian to the Super Continental at approximately the midpoint of the two routes after their split at Winnipeg, allowing for journeys like Red Deer to Jasper or Edmonton to Banff.

(Calgary to Edmonton would also be amazing for me personally, allowing me to travel between my university and home by rail, as opposed to my current options of FlixBus and the Canadian luxury bus operator Red Arrow)

All of this of course assumes that CPKC is willing to let Via run passenger trains on their trackage, and that the government is willing to spend money on rail. Although surprisingly the UCP government here in Alberta apparently wants passenger rail? Not what I’d expect but hey I guess Danielle Smith’s government is at least doing one good thing?
