An adventurer party of elves, staging elaborate sacrifices to attract and then ambush their (draconic) prey.
The central dragon summoner’s clothing is inspired by traditional Korean wedding garbs, playing with the theme of young maidens being “married” to dragons in so many tales... The other elves, too, are wearing armor inspired by historical Korean artifacts, Thai textiles and headdresses, and Vietnamese clothing. The background itself is inspired by reference pictures I took at Ayutthaya.

Wat Mahathat temple, originally built in 1374. The site was destroyed by the Burmese invasion in 1767, when several heads of Buddha statues were looped off as an act of desecration. The ruins were left and the over grown nature took over, entwining one of the severed Buddha heads with the roots of a Banyan tree. Just one of the incredibly nice results of the fusion of nature, ruins and time.
Ayutthaya, Thailand.
