Author's Note → Hi, and welcome to my first story for Bucky! I'm pretty excited to have been working on a story for him, as he's been my favorite since I joined the fandom of the MCU a few years back. I hope you will enjoy this story, and I'm looking forward to creating more and reading everything you all have made, as well.

Bucky Barnes - a former assassin who was brainwashed and used as a weapon, Avenger, and the best cat dad and neighbor you could have ever wished for - is someone you never thought you'd get close to. Not only do you live completely different lives, but you're also socializing in entirely different circles. Despite this, the universe had its plan ready when he moved into the apartment next to yours a little over six months ago.

It's been a few days since your new neighbor moved in, and even though the two of you have run into each other a few times, you never got more than a 'hello' out of him. Today, you're going to his apartment with some of your famous chocolate chip cookies. After checking yourself in your hallway mirror one last time, you grab your keys and the cookie container, ready to introduce yourself.

When you're at his door, you knock a few times, and before you can even think about what could happen, the front door opens, and you're met by a sight you only have ever seen in your wildest dreams. A tall, broad man opened the door while holding a stark white cat in his arms - one of them being a prosthetic, based on its black and gold color. His hair is neatly trimmed, and his beard has undergone the same treatment. What you notice most of all, though, is how his blue eyes are roaming over your face in a questioning way, making you feel a bit nervous.

"Hi, uhm, I am here to welcome you to the building! I'm your next-door neighbor, Y/N Y/L/N, and I brought some cookies for you to enjoy as a gift. Though if I had known you had a cat, I would have made a little treat for them, too," you say, internally chastising yourself for saying something so weird.

"It's nice to meet you, Y/N; I'm Bucky and this—" he raises the cat with his arm "—is Alpine, though she already gets plenty of treats from me, so don't worry about that," he says with a small smile. While he wasn't having a particularly good day today, his mood shifted slightly when he saw you.

A soft meow follows his comment as she looks up at her owner as if trying to disagree with him, making you smile at the scene unfolding in front of you. Then, you reach out the Tupperware container with the cookies, and he accepts with a small smile and a soft 'thank you' before you head back. The click of his front door behind you lets you know he went back inside.

Since that meeting, Bucky quickly warmed up to you and your enthusiasm about the things you love. It only took a few weeks for him to open up about his work as an Avenger - which had you gasping loudly - and that he might be gone for weeks on end. That night, you offered to take care of Alpine in his absence, and when she approved of you as well, Bucky was happy to become friends with you.

"Doll?" Bucky asks as he's grabbing a drink from his fridge for you. He just returned from a mission when he found you napping on his couch with Alpine in your arms. You woke up not long ago, but he returned and didn't wake you.

"What do you think of going to one of Tony's parties with me this upcoming Sunday? If you're free, of course," he says with a small smile. He's aware your schedule can be unpredictable at times, with your job at the local bookstore and your volunteer work at the animal shelter, and always wants to make sure you have time to go anywhere together.

"That would be amazing, Bucky! Meeting the Avengers, having fun while getting free drinks, and spending time with you?! There's nothing better if you ask me," you say with a broad smile, which is infectious as Bucky agrees. It would be amazing if you could come with him.

"Okay, I will ask Ms. Jones to watch Alpine for the night then. I was initially going to ask you, but I figured a night with the Avengers would be a lot more fun than to be stuck here with this little goofball," he jokes as he sits down next to you, though she doesn't even open an eye to look at him as he does.

"I don't know, spending nights with Alpine is always fun, too," you tell your neighbor with a giant smile as you pet the white feline's back, her purring intensifying with every passing minute. Your smile is infectious, as Bucky can feel the corners of his mouth curling up, too.

It's the night of Tony's party, and you're ready to go as you hear a knock on your front door, letting you know Bucky is here to pick you up. After his invite, you went out to get a simple black dress that shows off your curves just the way you like, and your hair and make-up are kept simple, as you've never been one to go over the top with things like that.

As you open the door, Bucky can't help but let his gaze wander over your body, making the butterflies in your stomach go wild as he does. While you and Bucky don't have any interest in each other romantically - with him having a crush on his fellow Avenger, Steve, being proof of that - he can appreciate the beauty of women, and this moment isn't any different.

"You look stunning, Doll," Bucky says, and you can't help but smile as you take a moment to take in his outfit, too. He chose a black suit and a golden bowtie, matching his arm.

"You're not bad-looking yourself, either," you say before grabbing your keys and leaving your apartment. The Uber he ordered is already waiting for you two, and he opens the door for you like a true gentleman. When you're seated, he quickly walks around and gets in himself, ready to be brought to the party.

"What's on your mind?" Bucky asks as he looks over at you. Your nerves are clearly visible as you look out the window, and you're clutching your bag for dear life.

"Well, I- uhm... I'm a bit scared they won't like me," you confess as you cast your eyes down to where your hands are in your lap, holding onto the bag to ground yourself. Before saying anything, Bucky grabs one of your hands, making you look up at him.

"Y/N, I can promise you that there is not a single world in which they would not like you. If I'm being honest, you're an absolute ray of sunshine in your day-to-day life, and I cannot wait to share your happiness and kindness with them. I understand the nerves, but you got me to love you, so I'm positive the others are going to love you as well," he says, his blue eyes looking into yours with a soft gaze.

As he tells you this, you can feel the nerves in your stomach settle down immensely. The rest of the drive goes by so quickly that you don't even realize you're there until you see a bunch of flashing lights from the paparazzi at the party, and Bucky is already on his way out of the car to open your car door.

"Ready?" he asks as he extends his Vibranium hand, and you put your hand in his, ready to get out and into the party. He quickly leads you past the paparazzi, and once you're inside, Bucky immediately spots his best friend and crush - the one and only Captain America, aka Steve Rogers.

"Hi," Bucky says shyly as Steve embraces him, and you can't help but smile at this sweet side of Bucky. While they share some small talk, you look around, trying to see if you can recognize any of the other Avengers, but so far, you have only found Steve.

"You must be Y/N; Bucky speaks very highly of you," Steve says with a bright smile and kind eyes, and you nod as you can feel your cheeks heating up once again. His hand feels very large compared to yours and warmer than you're used to, but Bucky has explained that the super soldier serum raises their body temperature, which is why he's never cold.

"It's very nice to meet you, Steve. I have heard a lot about you from Bucky, both from the 30s and 40s, as well as what you two get up to now," you tell him, and this time it's Steve's turn to blush. Before he can answer, you're suddenly approached by a woman in a long red dress and fiery red hair: Black Widow.

"I was wondering when we would meet you—the sweet, caring neighbor he can't stop talking about," Natasha says with a smirk as she shakes your hand. Something about her immediately piques your interest.

"Bucky can't seem to shut up about you, so I'm happy to see that you actually exist," she says with a wink to Bucky, who rolls his eyes before ordering some drinks.

"I'm happy to hear that Bucky has already informed you about me; it makes me feel good that I'm worth talking about," you tell her honestly, and she smiles at your words. Sometimes, you wish to shut up with your blunt honesty for a moment, but it doesn't matter with Natasha. She enjoys people who say what they think.

"Have you met the others yet? Maybe Bucky could help you find the rest and introduce you," she offers, and your neighbor and friend nods with a smile before offering his arm, through which you hook yours. Before you know it, you've met Clint, Bruce, and Thor, who couldn't stop complimenting you, so the only person that's left is Tony Stark himself.

"Is this real? Am I going to meet Iron Man himself?" you ask Bucky with excitement dripping from your entire being, and he hums in approval. You spot the man you're looking for quickly, as he's always a significant presence in every room he's in. As you approach him, your heartbeat rises steadily until it feels like it's beating out of your chest.

"Well, who do we have here? If I'm not mistaken, you're the only Y/N Y/L/N," Tony says in his smooth voice, and the butterflies in your stomach go wild. He always has this effect on women, and you're most certainly not immune to it when he gently grabs your hand and presses a kiss to the back of your hand.

"H-hi! Yes, that's me," you tell him with a broad smile, which he reciprocates in his typical manner that melts hearts and ruins panties everywhere he goes.

"It's an honor to meet you, and I hope Bucky will treat you right tonight. Now, go and have fun, you two," he says before being pulled away, leaving you with wobbly knees from the excitement coursing through your entire body.

"I can't believe it, Bucky, I've met the Avengers! Me, a simple human, meeting the Avengers of all people! I can't believe it," you tell him excitedly, your pace of speaking rapidly increasing as you get increasingly excited about what has just happened.

"You're not just a simple human, Doll; you're the best neighbor and friend anyone could wish for, and I'm happy you're here tonight," he says before guiding you to the bar, ready for the rest of your evening to start. The entire time, you're made to feel welcomed by everyone, and you couldn't imagine a better first meeting than the one you've had today - apart from the one you had with Bucky, that is.

Steve-Centric Stucky Fics: 5 Recs + 1 TBR

As promised, here is the rec list for Steve/Bucky fics with a focus on Steve-centric stories—all of them not EG-compliant, as requested. It's not quite as long as my usual rec lists for two reasons:

(1) I'm still sick and I can barely sit up straight, so please forgive the brevity of the list, and

(2) I deliberately wanted to include exclusively fics that were written in 2022 and 2023 to shine a spotlight on a few of the many wonderful writers and artists who are still creating absolutely fantastic works for the Stucky ship and who deserve to be read just as widely and passionately as older works in the fandom. Recency bias, but make it positive!

So without further ado, here are five Steve-centric Stucky recs and one more fic that I can't wait to get to:

Author's summary: Natasha says, “Look, whatever the truth is about you, we have no way of really knowing the Winter Soldier's intentions. He’s not all there, he’s not who you remember. He’s a hot mess, Steve.”

“Why does everyone think that?” Steve says, and he’s nearly yelling, but not quite, because he doesn’t need to, not when they’re so close. “Why does everyone keep saying he’s a mess—have you seen me?" 

Post-CA:TWS canon divergent. I literally finished this fic about 15 minutes ago, so I haven't even left a comment yet. I'm still processing, you could say. The author tagged this with "just another post catws fic (but by me)"—and yes, that's what you get. All the usual ingredients are here, but the joy of TWS canon divergence is of course in the endless possibilities of how these well-known ingredients are used, re-arranged, and re-imagined as something new, exciting, and often much more satisfying than in canon. This fic excels at all three and is an absolute joy from start to finish.

2. Daybreak by BonkyBornes, art by PottersPink | 9K, NR

Author's summary: They called it project Rebirth because the person was supposed to be reborn, like a phoenix from the ashes. Steve was supposed to be the phoenix. He was supposed to rise from the ashes of his old body, he was supposed to leave behind his deafness and his limp and the scoliosis that bent his entire body to the left. He was supposed to leave behind everything that held him back.

In the end, the only thing that left was the only thing that mattered.

Shrinkyclinks canon-divergent AU. What if Project Rebirth didn't go right...but it didn't go entirely wrong either? A story about ghosts but not a ghost story. Or maybe something else entirely? Steve fights his body and time and the memories that keep haunting him. Beautifully written, with gorgeous art by PottersPink that perfectly complements the story.

3. Exhale by seapigeon, art by dudewhereismypie | 15K, M

Author's summary: After the Chitauri invasion, Steve parts ways with SHIELD, unsure if he can trust an agency that tried to deceive him and built weapons from the Tesseract.

He finds himself alone in an unfamiliar future, penniless, not even legally alive. Fortunately, he knows how to survive. Steve Rogers is used to getting by on his own.

The thing is, he doesn't have to.

Shrunkyclunks. Post-Avengers canon divergent. A fic that asks the question: What if, after the battle of New York, Steve had told SHIELD a polite but firm 'No'? Follow him as he strikes out on his own, finds an apartment, a job, and friends, figures out life in the 21st century...and of course falls in love!

4. Preberseeschießen by Ginny_Potter | 6K, T

Author's summary: Bucky breathes out and shoots. The bullet hits water… and there it is, the zapping sound of paper tearing.

The light turns on and off three times. Third circle. Just a lick out of bullseye. The Howlies explode in cheers.

Or, the Howling Commandos play a shooting game with the Austrian Resistance and Steve has lots of unresolved feelings about himself, his new body, and his changing relationship with Bucky. In other words, comrades are comrades, angst looms, and Steve feels.

Wartime fic. Would you like to read some excellent gay angst full of yearning and unresolved tension, peppered with interesting and wonderfully specific historical details and Howlies camaraderie? Would you like to get your heart crushed a little? Yes? Here you go. And if this makes you feel too sad by the end of it and you crave a bit of a happier resolution, just jump straight into a fistfull of dollars (5K, E) by the same author, which is not intended as a companion piece or even set in the same universe, but it works just as if it were. (Look at me sneaking in extra recs.)

5. Not In The Answer But The Question by aimmyarrowshigh, art by PottersPink | 27K, T

Author's summary: It rankles that his drink was made before he even got a chance to order it. What if he wanted a change? What if he were adventurous and bold? What if he tried something new?

Or, Steve Rogers shakes up his gray daily routine in 2014 by going back home to Vinegar Hill. To his surprise, the Jewish deli he used to frequent with Arnie is still standing.

And Steve's whole life changes again.

A lost and lonely Steve tries to figure out who he was, is and most importantly, wants to be in this new century he's found himself in that is both terrifying and full of possibilities. Told in vignettes (I did not count, but I believe all of them are exactly 100 word drabbles) that perfectly illustrate the fragmented mind and life of its protagonist and his experience of constantly shifting and adjusting between past and present. A story about identity, memory, self-acceptance, and finding the courage to love and let yourself be loved. And food. So much amazing food!

Author's summary: “It starts with bananas. Of course, it's not really about the bananas. Just like a camel isn't bothered by one single straw, just like a dam doesn't break because of one extra drop. Obviously, Steve's mental breakdown isn't about bananas.”

Steve is overwhelmed and hanging by a thread, doing his best to take care of Bucky while still deeply traumatized himself. He finally has a breakdown over the stupidest of things: bananas. So Bucky takes care of him.

In which Steve learns to surf, Bucky becomes a gardener, and they both begin to heal.

Post-CA:TWS canon divergent. No, I did not make a mistake, the word count for this story really does come in at an impressive (or intimidating, you decide) 358,225 words! Which is the only reason why I haven't read it yet. I do want to make time for this asap because the snippets I've read so far were very intriguing and everything I've heard about it from people who have finished it, sounds absolutely amazing. So, this is the wild card pick!

For the last few weeks, Tony has been busier than ever. Between his work as CEO of Stark Industries and his duties as Iron Man, he's been away a lot, and it's taking its toll on him. Because of this, you have discussed with Pepper about having him go home early on Friday, giving the two of you a long, relaxing weekend together.

You have been planning several things for the past few days, starting with a much-deserved movie night. While you usually have movie nights with all the other Avengers, you now opt to have one at home with Tony and your black kitten, Moon, for ultimate relaxation. The excitement in your body is building with every passing second.

Now, it's only a matter of getting the last few things ready, starting with baking Tony's favorite cookies while you're waiting for a package to arrive because you have ordered a matching set of pajamas that still has to get here, and then everything is all set.

As you gather all the ingredients to make the cookies, you're being watched by your now four-month-old black kitten, Moon, as he's seated on the kitchen counter in the little bed you put there. He prefers to be close to you both wherever you are, and this way, you can also keep a close eye on him while you're there.

"Aren't you the cutest little thing today, Moon?" you say as you look at him in his usual rolled-up sleeping position, though his bright blue eyes are looking at you with a curious look as he meows at you. A smile forms on your face as you scratch him behind his ears, and he purrs in enjoyment.

"Alright, let's make some cookies before Daddy's home!" you tell Moon before telling JARVIS to play some of your favorite music, which fills the penthouse as you're practically floating through the kitchen, dancing and singing along to the music as you keep working.

It doesn't take long for you to be ready to put the cookies in the oven. When you straighten back up, you're scared by a sudden presence in the kitchen with you that definitely wasn't there earlier. You're now wondering how long they have been standing there and looking at you while holding Moon, the package you were expecting tucked under his arm.

"Tony? What are you doing home already?" you ask as you walk towards your boyfriend, who's scratching Moon while smiling at you. Tiredness is visible on his face, and you feel a bit of a lump forming in your throat at the sight, your brows knitting together in worry.

"Well, it turns out someone didn't put the right address on the package they ordered, so it was sent straight to my office instead of here," Tony tells you with a mischievous smirk and a raised brow, instantly making you feel a little more relaxed.

"And I figured since my agenda was already empty for most of the day, I'd cancel the last few meetings I had left as well to go and spend some much-needed quality time with my girl," your boyfriend tells you before putting Moon down on the counter together with the package.

Tony gently cups your face without saying another word before capturing your lips in a loving, slow kiss. Your eyes slip shut as you let the feeling of Tony take over your entire being, the scent of him filling your senses as your hands slide into his cropped, dark brown hair. A soft moan escapes your lips as he slips his tongue into your mouth, stepping impossibly closer as he does so.

The taste of coffee still lingers on his tongue as he takes his time to explore your mouth with his before he allows one of his hands to glide down your neck and towards your waist, pulling your soft curves to his firm, muscled body until they move in sync with one another.

Much too soon for your liking, he pulls back and smiles down at you, his chocolate brown eyes looking into yours with a fond look. "I love you, Sugar," Tony whispers when the music changes from the kind you were listening to earlier to Heaven by Bryan Adams, so you take the opportunity to dance with him.

Slowly swaying from left to right, your hands are lying on his neck, his hands gently squeezing your hips as you two move effortlessly throughout the kitchen.

"I thought you said you couldn't dance," you ask with a raised brow, and Tony chuckles at your remark as he shakes his head.

"I meant that I can't dance at parties, Sugar. And I much prefer dancing here with you, in the privacy of our home," your boyfriend says, making your heartbeat rise at the words' our home.' Ever since you moved in, he hasn't been able to stop telling you how happy he is that you two have permanently moved in with him.

You lean in to lay your head against Tony's shoulder, and he happily envelops you in a hug as you two sway back and forth in place. The words flowing out of the speakers ring more true than ever.

And love is all that I need

And I found it there in your heart

It isn't too hard to see

We're in heaven

The moment the song ends, you hear a meow coming from the kitchen counter, and your attention is immediately pulled towards Moon, who's sitting there looking at you both while asking for some attention.

"It looks like our Baby wants some attention too, Angel," you tell Tony as you let go of him and walk towards Moon, allowing him to jump in your arms.

"Do you want to dance with Mommy and Daddy?" you ask. Moon answers with another meow before getting comfortable. You feel Tony pressing against your back and looking over your shoulder at the little black kitten you're raising.

Now it's time for all three of you to dance together, and you're feeling nothing but pure love for the two of them. The man who's holding you, who has saved you from a horrible situation, and the kitten you're carrying, who you, in turn, saved from a potential early death if you hadn't found him that day.

"What do you think of having babies of our own one day, Sugar? Like, human babies?" Tony asks, catching you off-guard as you step away and turn around. You scan his face for signs that he's joking, but when you find none, you immediately get a huge smile.

"Really, Tony? You want to have babies with me?" you ask excitedly, and he can't help but smile at your enthusiasm as he nods.

"Did you hear that, Moon? Daddy wants to give you a little human brother or sister! Would you like that, too?" you ask Moon, who looks up at you, his bright blue eyes beaming as he does. Your heart melts at the sight.

"I- It's been my dream to become a Mom for as long as I can remember, Tony. But especially since I lost my own Mom, it's been on my mind even more. Even though she won't be around to see them grow up, I know she would love seeing me raise my babies, too," you say to him, and the tears are already brimming on your waterline at the thought of your Mom.

"And I know she would have been the proudest Mom there is, Sugar. Seeing you when you graduate and start your career, when you get pregnant and give birth, I'm sure she would have been front and center for all of it," Tony says as he caresses your cheeks with his thumbs, wiping away the tears that have escaped.

"Oh, you bet she would have been," you tell Tony through the tears, a laugh escaping too at the thought of your Mom being in the same room as you when giving birth. No one would've been prouder of you than her, that's for sure.

"Thank you for being by my side through it all, Tony. Now that it's just you and me, I know it isn't easy, but I wouldn't be able to do it without you," you whisper to him while clutching Moon carefully to your chest at the same time.

His thumbs caress your cheeks again before he kisses you lovingly, and he can't help but let a few tears of his escape at your words.

"There's nowhere else I would rather be than right here by your side, my sweet Sugar. Because by your side is the only place I want to be."

However, before you can answer him, the oven timer goes off, and you both laugh at its horrible timing. Despite this, you give him one more peck on his lips before putting Moon on the counter and pulling out the cookies, filling the entire penthouse with a delicious smell.

You've been seated on the couch with Tony as you're getting some schoolwork done, and he's cuddling with Moon while watching TV until the boredom kicks in for him, and he suddenly gets an entirely different idea as he puts Moon down and gets up from the couch.

"I've been thinking of having some fun before dinner, Sugar," Tony tells you with a raised brow and a mischievous smirk, leaving you wondering what he could be planning this close to dinner time. He's never disappointed you with his ideas, so you're eager to learn.

You put your laptop down on the couch when Tony extends his hand for you to take, and you do so, only to find him leading you to the large bathroom attached to the main bedroom.

"We might need to get some dinner before you fuck my brains out, Tony," you say jokingly, but he just chuckles before turning around, halting you in your place. The height difference between you is noticeable when you're barefoot in front of him, and you have to crane your neck to meet his gaze, which only spurs your boyfriend on more.

"Believe me, my sweet Sugar, when I say I will definitely do that later, but that's not the plan I have right now," he says in a low tone, his voice almost dropping an octave near the end. Goosebumps appear on your skin as your breath hitches at his words, your thighs clenching at his words.

"I'm planning on having a shower together, and I was hoping to see you on your knees for me like a good girl. You are a good girl for me, right?" Tony asks, and it's like you're nailed to the floor, your mouth suddenly becoming dry as the words sink in, but you're unable to respond. You want nothing more than to do what he asks, and you try to swallow the lump in your throat as you nod.

"Words, Sugar. Big girls use their words to get what they want," Tony orders as he steps even closer, and you can feel his rapidly hardening cock pressing against the soft flesh of your stomach, your underwear now completely ruined as your arousal is threatening to drip down your thighs.

"Y-yes, Daddy," you manage to say, and he smiles approvingly.

Made this one years ago for a canon compliant (at the time) AU. Where Scott Summers (Cyclops) unlocks his powers as they're falling from the sky after jumping from their burning plane. Until he gets called to asses a mutant 'threat' which leads him to an abandoned orphanage somewhere in Alaska where it turns out there are mini versions of Summers boys running around with all of their original powers. And there's no way in hell he's turning these kids over to the Avengers

Oh man it was gonna explore the Phoenix force like a teen fanfic. And Norse Loki lore like that one kid he saved from that giant, and that kid was gonna be the Summers ancestor. And Odin cursed the kid and that's why the Sunmers bloodline is screwed up.

When the event is threatened by a bunch of radical bigot terrorists sending dozens of suicide bombers to literally blow up everyone's fun though, Everett and Clint need to overcome their aversion against mass events and join the girls to save the day. After Ororo's lightning and Clint's trick arrows have made an inevitable mess of the rainbow decoration while taking out the enemies one by one, Synch lights up the street with his powers for a few hours of celebration instead, before the four of them leave for the nearest motel room for celebrating yet another victory.

Lokius writing prompts

Usually I only reblog stuff, but I'm so starved for Lokius content that I've decided to create some Lokius writing prompts. Second part is here and third part here. If anyone uses them, please let me know. I want to read it.

1 - At the end of Thor Ragnarok there is no Thanos. The Asgardians arrive safely in Midgard and, with the help of the Norse government, establish their colony, New Asgard. The American government demands the surrender of Loki. They want to punish him for the attack on New York in 2012. Everyone is convinced of Loki's guilt, from Thor to Loki's lawyer. Only Thor and Jane Foster's testimony about Loki's help before the battle in Greenwich with the Dark Elves improves Loki's situation a little. With this, there is a hope of saving Loki from the death penalty but this is still not certain. Suddenly Thor is contacted by S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. - Mobius M. Mobius, who has been fascinated by the events of 2012 for years and is convinced of Loki's innocence and claims he can prove it. The most difficult task the agent faces, however, is convincing Loki to testify in his own defence.

2 - After the end of season 2, Loki and Mobius continue to work together at the TVA. They pursue dangerous variants that threaten the Multiverse. During one mission, they pursue a dangerous variant that murders all other variants of themselves. In the course of the battle, Mobius is injured. Loki saves his life. After these events, Loki realises that his feelings towards Mobius are more than friendship. However, he is convinced that Mobius only has platonic feelings towards him and there is no chance of them ever being together. What if he is wrong?

3 - Don works in a shop that sells jet skis. He went through a difficult divorce a few years ago. He tries to maintain a positive relationship with his ex wife but it is not always easy. Don's children consider him a loser and constantly compare him to their stepfather, who is a serious businessman. Despite the harder times, Don tries to think positively and not give up in life. He loves his job, jet skis and sweets. For some time now, a mysterious customer has been coming into the shop on a regular basis. He looks well off but never buys anything. He loves spending time with Don and talking about everything and nothing. As time goes by, Don starts to notice behaviour in this customer that makes him think that maybe the customer is romantically interested in him. Eventually, after comments from colleagues, Don begins to consider giving the customer a chance. He lets him know that if he wants to date then all he has to do is ask. The client seems surprised at first by this turn of events, but asks Don out. (It is up to the author to choose whether it is AU or canon compliant. If AU then Mobius is called Mobius, not Don. If canon complaint, Mobius' memory returns. Customer is of course Loki)

4 - After the destruction of the TVA, Loki wakes up right where he started - in New York in 2012, right after the beating he took from the Hulk. This time there is no Endgame Tony falling over with the Tesseract. How will this Loki deal with the following events? Will he find Mobius in this timeline? Will Mobius remember him? Will he go to the prison on Asgard or stay on Midgard? Will he tell everyone about Thanos, the Other and the mind control they put him under? Is anyone going to believe him? What Thor will think looking at this new Loki who is gentler, more mature and confident in his powers?

Bonus points if in post season 2 canon complaint stories every member of TVA hates spaghetti with burning passion.

More bonus points for Loki's interactions with various members of the Avengers.

Even more bonus points for Lokius slow burn.

Magic in Your Hands

The Avengers were hit with a spell turning them all into statues — all except Captain Marvel, who safely returned them to Earth.

Nick Fury knew who to call: Steve Rogers, the man who made statues come to life.

Steve was quick to take on the challenge to save the superheroes.

It didn't hurt that the statue of Bucky Barnes was easy on the eyes.
