Random Queer Headcanons

Xavier is a sad middle aged gay man

Aoi is a lesbian but has never been on a date ever in her life because when ever she tries to ask out a girl, it fails.

Nova is gay but didn’t realize he was until he was in the military.

Cyko is a bisexual but that’s like canon I’m pretty sure.

Magy is a lesbian and has a slightly good taste in women.

Ellyn is sapphic and has a terrible taste in women and this is evident because she’s dating Magy.

Phantom is like 100s of years old, so he doesn’t believe in gender and goes by any pronouns as well as dresses how ever they please.

Queen Karma is aroace. She only cares about money, alcohol and her kids (Yuma and Yumi)

Inferno is gay. Like a flaming homosexual (literally)

Gwen is a lesbian and likes to pick pretty flowers for all her friends.

Cupid is pansexual and also asexual.

Reed is gay and has one of the worst taste in men anyone has ever seen. Shishi cries because of how bad her son’s taste in men is.

Inktober - Triple Feature

*Posting these together, because all three characters come from the same game*

Inktober 2023 - Prompt 15: Dagger

"Come on, just admit it. You won’t walk out of this alive. Besides, everyone knows that nobody is quicker than this assassin! My daggers are my life partners, and they’re gonna help me in this little battle of ours.”

Prompts 16 and 17: Angel and Demon

"Ah, the angel and the demon. One has complete faith in you and wants you to take her blessing, while the other… well, she just wants you to ‘taste her flames’ and believes she can stop you with everything she’s got.”

For these three prompts, I decided to draw some characters from Gacha World, an anime-style adventure game that I remember being obsessed with back in mid-2020. I recently started playing it again, and I don’t know why, but I feel like I’m more invested in the storyline and characters than I was back then. I suppose that’s just the beauty of getting older; you start appreciating the minor details of each and every little thing.

Aside from that, I just have one question that I’ve asked so many times before for some of these prompts: Could there have been three better characters to use for these prompts? I mean, sure they’re not as well known as other characters, but they’re just so fitting, and I knew I had to use them! For the 15th prompt, “Dagger,” I went with Avenger Reed, a young fighter who became an assassin after the invasion of the kingdom he lived in. Not only are his daggers one of his best weapons, but also, as his quote from Gacha Resort (the sequel to Gacha World) implies, his life partners. I’ll just leave you to try and interpret what on Earth that means. 😅

As for the 16th and 17th prompts, “Angel” and “Demon,” I found two other characters that, like Reed, were very fitting for these prompts. I decided to combine these two in particular, mainly because I thought it was pretty funny to see the two opposites ending up next to each other on the Inktober prompt list. The angel, in this case, is DJ Eve, a young, angel-like being and former test subject who is more than happy to spread her blessings to others.

On the other hand, we have our demon, a feisty demon-like being from the underworld known as Devil Akki. Don’t worry; despite her species’ unfavorable reputation, I can assure you that she wouldn’t hurt or possess a fly.

Secret Wars planned to make Magneto an Avenger

Marvel's first huge event, Secret Wars, was cooked up by Jim Shooter and Mattel to sell toys. Chris Claremont told him that he was reforming Magneto and thus, he was sorted into the hero category when the Beyonder whisked everyone away. Mags was as surprised as anyone.

I wish Cyclops blasted Hawkeye. He was a villain not too long ago, you'd think he'd understand.

Shooter assumed Mags would end up an Avenger due to his power level and because his kids were Avengers. That sadly didn't work out, due to Claremont wanting to keep him, but you can see the seeds of prominence and nobility being planted here. The Avengers and FF were basically looking for someone to punch, and decided to dogpile Mags. They're all delusional, as you can see, and he wipes the floor with them.

The X-Men defend him too, especially Wolverine, even willing to come to blows over it. After alienating one of their most powerful assets, Magneto decides to leave rather than spill mutant blood. When I was reading this as a kid I thought he was the coolest and the non-mutant heroes seemed like oafish clowns. They probably should have chosen a leader before attacking Magneto, dumbasses.

Shooter included the Mags/Wasp romance to give him more links to the Avengers, but we all know that didn't go anywhere. It's not too late though! When he gets his powers back, Magneto the Avenger would be a more powerful statement than a hundred Unity Squads. It's probably not going to happen without a serious shakeup to the way Marvel is run, but I can dream.
