I said I had more Dulce est Desipere in Loco art and I was not kidding (this isn't even all of it lol). Massive spoilers under cut haha (also uh tw for some gore, which I guess is a spoiler in it of itself but whatever). I love drawing deranged abyss corrupted Furina can't u tell haha. I also really like the idea of Furina going full Roman Emperor when she's corrupted (I looked at paintings of Nero for that design)

This isn't a literal showing of what happened, but I do like that idea that due to Furina being corrupted there was more abyssal influence, hence more monsters which ended up killing Egeria. So while Furina girl failed at revenge, in a way she did cause it.

And of course, Focacchino. I love them, your honor. Alre has abandoned her homeland for a foreign god and returns to finally meet her former Archon only to realize she was a weak fake all along and has to grapple with that. Except, it gets revealed to her later that weakness was just a facade and that god was the reason her homeland will drown. But even with how much she has lost her mind she still does everything for her son in her own messed up way, and that is something she can respect.

And in Furina's case this is a woman who successfully raised her kids into weapons but somehow still gave them a better life. Who is honestly trying to stop this nation from drowning, no matter her methods. Who in the end respects Furina despite the blood on her hands. And most important of all, will kill her. So that Neuvillette would be spared having to do it himself.

maybe im preaching to the choir but if undertale counts under this criteria. it is so sincere and beautiful and it got so bogged down in the concept of the fandom being “cringe” that a lot of people wont give it a chance now

smfwtwd's chapter 39 sketch dump aka Ilhuicamīna and Itotia time haha. The two middle sketchy pics were drawn forever ago when I was finalizing his design, I'm just including them because why not, but the first and last are new.

I recognize I have an absurd amount of ocs in my fic, but I can do what I want, it's my fic pfft. But in all seriousness, idk but for me, characters are part of world building. People aren't islands, their interconnected relations inform their character and the world around them. So while Ilhuicamīna isn't going to be some major character, for me, it's just the joy of fleshing out the world and specifically Itotia's relations beyond Childe or the other Archons.

And it's just fun to expand upon characters I just sort of threw there for random roles haha. You were originally just some dude, and now I've thought an embarrassing amount about u pfft.
