The Dimension Debacle Part 2

The skies over Pandora are quiet, as usual. Every so often a cloud may drift by, but other than that there’s nothing worth seeing.

Then all of a sudden there’s a bright flash. Nobody on the ground would be able to see it, but outside the planet’s atmosphere, a ship has suddenly appeared. It’s dark and powerless and falls towards the planet, pulled in by the gravity.

Pieces of it break off as it burns through the atmosphere and plummets to the surface, crashing into the desert. The lights remain off. Is anyone home?

Inside Sanctuary III, FL4K’s servos reboot and their optics light up. They find themselves lying on the floor of Moxxxi’s, looking at the faces of Mr. Chew and Hermes.

“Away, beasts,” they order as they sit up. Hermes scampers off as Mr. Chew sits diligently at his master’s side.

Nearby, Moze, Zane, and Amara also wake up, groaning as they rise, rubbing their aching heads.

“What the hell happened?” Moze asks.

“No idea,” Amara replies.

“Moxxi, you alright?” Zane asks.

“Yes,” she replies as she stands up behind the bar, rubbing her head. “Ugh, like a hangover without the party.”

“Why’s it dark?” Amara asks.

“The ship must’ve lost power,” FL4K suggests.

“We better check things out,” Moze declares. “Moxxi, stay here.”

She nods as the Vault Hunters leave the bar.

The floor is uneven, tilted slightly downwards. All around them as they head upstairs, civilians are slowly waking up, groaning. A few of them are injured, but only mildly.

The Vault Hunters arrive to the bridge, where they find Tannis typing at the farthest console.

“Tannis, whahappun?” Zane asks.

“I am not entirely sure,” she replies, “we definitely crashed and the ship has lost power. Our ECHO devices aren’t working either. I’m trying to revive BALEX. You guys, go around and gather the other raiders here for a meeting.”

So when we think of Maya Hart our mind is responsible for reminding us that she is Riley's best friend, but even the series knows that she is much more than that, which is why this section will not cover To Riley Matthews because although we love her, there is already an entire series focused on her relationship with Maya.

They do daddy-daughter things, watch TV together (any program the other wants), have breakfast, cook, go shopping, make fun of the fact that he can't help her with her homework, fish, try everything.The things that have happened and will happen for the simple fact that both are growing in the company they always wanted.

Farkle Minkus

Farkle always goes over his speeches with the girls, Riley is always positive, never critical, Maya couldn't care less but she still encourages him to be briefer, clearer, gives him ideas to be less nervous, and summarize a little, He is not ashamed to admit that thanks to the blonde's advice he has been closer to beating Smackle

Lucas Friar

Deep down, Maya is drawn to Lucas' Texan life (as if she had seen Toy Story and had always wanted to Watch the Woody's Roundup). So although she makes fun, she is the most dedicated during her visit to Texas, feeding the horses, taking care of the farm, learning to dance like them, loving what they eat, their activities, Lucas He taught her how to ride and some tricks, and to see if Happiness convinced him that even if the boys couldn't come, he would make sure to bring Maya to Texas.

Isadora Smackle

Maya is Smackle's assistant in science, chemistry and technology fairs and homework projects, why? Because it turns out that the girl likes it...yes, Maya Hart likes those subjects because Fun explosions are best along with 'toys' that work,Riley is her best friend and favorite companion. But with Smackle in a controlled manner, chaos happens.

Cory Matthews

One day Maya arrived when they were going to buy at the market so they recruited her, unlike Riley who aligned herself with Topanga where everything is strictly according to the list, instead on the Matthews side Auggie and her had fun, They can take whatever they want, the cart works as a cart, and the food samples are never enough ,they also had it and from that day on Cory personally made sure that she accompanied them

If for some reason the Matthews have to go out without him, Maya will stay with him, and they both love that, Auggie says she is the best Nanny in the world after Mrs. Svorski.

Maya has practically become her older sister, sometimes Ava's mother asks her to help her with her homework.

Eric Matthews

She and Riley love going to his office and helping him with his important papers. Maya is his favorite secretary since they both consider that they share the same academic neuron.

Joshua Matthews

They begin to philosophize about literally anything (Maya plays, Josh takes it more seriously).

PD:I feel like Maya would be the type that doesn't want to get married, and Josh doesn't see a problem with it, maybe a small meaningful anti-traditional ceremony before moving in together (Not all couples get married Disney,Show that!!!

Frank Sinatra's estate hasnt signed off on this so this might not happen after all BUT i'm flabbergasted at Marty's choices.

JLaw has never been able to portray being in love wholeheartedly in any of her movies. And you need that as a foundation to build on even if u want to show a tumultuous relationship. Moreover, she cd never exude Ava Gardner's classy, sultry, confidence. Even if she managed to act it on tape she would then ruin it during the film's promo tour by talking about using a cultural heritage site to scratch her butt 🤦🏻 (true story btw)

Leo playing a man whose face is well known didnt work so well in J EDGAR, so this shd be a no go right from the start. People can wait a month and watch stuff on digital so the casting has to be much more air-tight than 'i like working with him'. Plus Ava Gardner & Frank married at ages 28 and 35 respectively, so 49 yr old Leo might be wrong for other reasons as well. Plus Frank was small and wiry.

You gotta think outside of the box Marty! Someone like Eddie Redmayne wd sing the songs (Les Mis) and transform himself physically to become Frank - i dont like Eddie that much but his oscars for The Theory of Everything, The Danish Girl are well deserved. Or go for an unknown actor + a known actress w box office draw.

im rewatching tdc and i honestly can't take it and am gonna chew through my own arm in his memory

NEWT DOESN'T TURN

mary makes some extra serum for brenda for the road, & so they have it when newt is infected

since lawrence is gonna sacrifice himself anyway, gally gets the remainder of his serum from him in exchange for breaking into wckd, buying newt time

instead of getting drunk and wandering the halls she is IN CHARGE OF, ava kills janson or does anything else to thwart him & help the kids

there's some serum they're currently running tests on that's outside the vault, and they take a detour sometime in the minho-rescue to get some

gally deep enraged breaths gally takes the fucking serum with him, when he runs from brenda & the kids to go bring thominewt back

thomas kisses him and they cuddle a lot during all the shenanigans. this makes newt less stressed, buying time 😊😊😊

during the battle, wckd captures thominewtally and takes them to teresa and ava, who make the serum and cure newt. then they break out

they continue talking to brenda through the walkie-talkie, and when the berg flies over them, they drop down a hook and pick the boys up. since we all know wckd has stormtrooper aim, they make it. and then maybe they pick up teresa from some rooftop

IF NEWT TURNS

thomas [sometime during wckd training, runner training, or vince] has learnt the fireman's carry and is able to carry newt faster and also like.. just let him gnaw on him or whatever if he starts to turn, or knock him out real quick

thomas hears teresa say 'it's your blood,' immediately cuts himself and newt open and does some kind of blood brothers thing, which.. at least shocks newt's system enough that the serum arrives. and then thomas is lowkey bleeding out but newt is back to sanity & sarcasm enough to finish things off

thomas knocks newt out with the gun or like shoots him in the leg, buying time

they've picked up one of those stun serum thingies like janson uses, and use it on newt

thomas sticks the serum in newt in desperation and rage after he's just been knifed, bella cullen style {with plenty of those squishy stabby noises like in breaking dawn} and he comes back to life

[and after that, as teresa's done her same speech over the intercom, newt is reasonable with him so they get thomas' sweet sweet cure blood as well]

they get some serum to newt and escape to the safe haven. teresa and that bit of serum from the napkin survive. newt stays v e r y c a l m and slowly deteriorates for months, living on the bag of serum and their half-botched attempts to make more. and then teresa shows up 😘

teresa doesn't survive, but thomas keeps newt alive with the extra serum until he manages to make a working cure out of sheer grit and bloodloss and memories of wckd, because he loves newt to the point of invention

and the one that i half-genuinely see in the canon film:

the knife misses his heart. {they LITERALLY do not pull the knife out, check for a heartbeat or touch him in any way, it's insane}. the thomas-blood-knife + newt's undying love [*] resurrect him. he battles his way to the safe haven and they can give him that vial of the cure that thomas is left just holding like a loose end <3

[*plus some faint multidimensional influence of the dashner canon that newt apparently IS the cure, which.. afaik how immunity/cure works is that your body produces enzymes that fight it off FOR YOU and therefore can be transferred to fight it off for others.. so what kinda shuck sense does t h a t make]

Dimension Debacle Part 1

Sanctuary III, roaming home of the Crimson Raiders, sits parked outside Pandora’s atmosphere. Within the vessel, the corridors are as bustling as ever, not just with civilians and refugees, but the Crimson Raiders themselves.

Tannis and Ava stand in the bridge, looking at a star map and discussing where they might find another Vault. In Moxxxi’s, Moze, Zane, FL4K, and Amara are sitting at the bar, swapping stories and filling Moxxi’s tip jar, much to her delight. Tina, Mordecai, and Brick have dropped by for a visit and are sitting in Hammerlock’s room as he regales them with stories of his adventures. Down in the cargo hold, Ellie is tinkering with a car engine as Claptrap sits in his little closet, playing puppets with his clamp hands. Marcus is counting his money; Maurice is reading a book on human etiquette; Earl is behind his locked door, doing whatever it is he does. Everyone is keeping busy.

In the crew’s quarters, Skies is sitting on a table, waiting patiently. She perks up when the fast travel station lights up and Timothy digistructs in. Skies immediately grabs his arm and leads him through the ship.

“Thanks for coming, Tim,” she says excitedly. “You have to see this in person. It’ll blow your mind.”

“Also because I refuse to believe you got a mint condition physical disc of ‘Sirens Gone Wild’,” he adds, “only like ten copies exist in the galaxy.”

“And I got one of them.”

“Not a chance.”

“You doubting me? Me, the greatest treasure hunter in the galaxy?” “I’ll believe it when I see it.”

Skies leads Timothy to the cargo hold, where her ship, the Sky Rider, is parked. She plants her left hand on a panel next to the door, letting it scan her DNA. It unlocks and the hatch opens.

“Come on, come on,” she demands as she steps inside. “Just you wait. In a couple minutes, we’ll be watching the critically acclaimed raunchy comedy ‘Sirens Gone Wi-’.”

She stops short when she sees her pilot seat ripped to shreds, and Hermes, Ava’s pet, tearing at the stuffing.

“H’oh, boy,” Timothy mutters and shrinks away.

“AVA!” Skies howls. “BALEX! Get Ava down here now!”

“Ya got it,” the ship’s AI navigator replies over the intercom. “Ava, your ass is ‘bout to be grass in the cargo hold. RIP in peace.”

The young siren goose steps down the stairs after a couple minutes, rolling her eyes. “Whaaaaat do you want? I was busy with Tannis.”
