Like the game it was built upon, Dota Auto Chess had become the modding phenomenon of a new generation.

It's my new favorite thing, but it's also not working right now. I think because like me people discovered it recently from watching a pokemon youtuber and now the fandom is invading them in masses and it's just two people running it. what’s both amazing about playing underlords but also frustrating about playing underlords is like

jull annesix and hobgen are actually, really good characters, honestly i think they’re pretty well written. it’s such a shame that they’ve kinda been poofed from existence unless theres some voice lines i missed - which im doubtful of given every time i new hero/arcana/persona is dropped we go cave diving through the voice lines

even the worldbuilding in underlords, it’s still snippets but i love the small details, that alcohol in dark reef is shit but rich people drink it to look cool, that in demonic politics, not giving information is seen as being untrustworthy but giving too much makes you a lackey. it’s wild how that seemed to just get dropped when it wasnt doing as well as tft and then when artifact flopped
