When I first got posted to teach at boarding school, they assigned young single teachers to be warden. I realized the reason I cannot be a school warden is because it’s stressing me out and pain me emotionally as it’s against of my principle.

One of the job scope is you have to police kids’ manners and their religious practice, I feel like violating myself. I have to enforce so many ridiculous rules and play the role of authority, and the fact that I have to maintain the system when I don’t believe in authority—added to the struggle to perform the post.
