This ship has a lot going on

Red shoes, long skirt with panels reflecting the layers on the boat hull, rimmed with coffee bean detailing on the bottom and going up. The belt is a light pink and has a dripping effect like icing, with strawberry charms hanging from the shorter and candles hanging from the longer, and with a waffle belt buckle like the detailing under the mast head. A bag that looks like the masthead with a candy-striped strap. The torso of the shirt is bright red with rainbow buttons, and the sleeves are ruffled in alternating pink and white, both with spots like the sails. A donut ring on one hand and a candy-striped ring on the other, upside-down ice cream cone earrings, all reflecting the details on the masts. Finally lipstick done in the over-the-top way the roger has, long, curly pink hair, and the same hat as the roger as well.

another day another sighting of renee only ever being mentioned in relation to kate as a love interest biting and killing . they're exes THEY'RE EXES. they're messy exes whose relationship was never healthy because during it they are both trying to repress things so hard and using that relationship as a coping mechanism. there was a real love and real attraction there and i find it very entertaining when they have mutual jealousy of each other's new gfs but y'all keep using renee as the kate ex gf's name you recognize & it's so transparent. most of batfandom doesn't even care about kate beyond knowing she's a lesbian and renee gets reduced further like i'm putting their past relationship on a shelf until ppl can be normal and recognize renee as her own independent character who doesn't need kate to exist. renee's arc INTRODUCED kate, not the other way around. renee's arc is abt identity not being static but instead ever-changing and directing your focus not on guilt and wallowing but accepting the things you've done as part of you and directing yourself towards the future. the real question behind it all being not "who am i" but "who am i going to be?" like katerenee doesn't work after they've both undergone character growth. before a few years ago (batwoman 2018 iirc) katerenee was never even a relationship that was ever currently happening, it was always a past relationship. they were always exes
