[The crew has split up. The two hour mark is up. Kol has found something.]

"What the hell's all this? Some kinda nest?"

"Looks pretty dead to me. But it sure explains what fucked this place over."

"I'll log it for later. No survivors here, though."

[Commander Vex speaks up over comms.]

"Kol! Report back, you're late! You have ten minutes before we head back to the pod, soldier. Move it!"

"A- Alright alright, I'm coming!"

[Kol heads back to the exit, and the team goes back to the pod. Lyme and Axel step on first, followed by Vex and Kol.]

"Kol, you aren't looking too good. The walk drain you, soldier?"

"No, no I'm fine, just leave me alone, I'm fine."

"Hm... Your tone says otherwise. Axel will see you to the medbay when we board the Warmonger again."

"I said I'm-"

"That's an order. Sit down."

[Kol, reluctantly, obliges. The pod returns to the Warmonger, and they leave the planet behind.]

.. Yes, I believe that's the humans way of referring to your squintz. He was my first squintz.

Yes, thinking of our past relationship does bring a bit of color to my cheeks still, however it's not for the reason you may first think. I don't harbor any feelings for Henry anymore.. I have squintz for someone new, which is dangerous. Having one squintz alone is defective enough... Now two?... But- that's a risk I would take for my squintz.

When I think back to Henry... It's not leftover feelings.. It's simply- embarrassment...

Fret is cursed with becoming the same height he was in his Observer rank years. The cursed object is hidden, and there's no saying when it'll return to normal.

[The explosion immediately brightens the sky, and Dib has to snatch Gir from his rooted spot on the ground and run inside as debris begins to fall.]

[Barely any debris hits the house; however, the two seperate halves of the ship coming crashing down clearly nearby, shaking the walls and threatening to bring the entire house down.]

[After it calms, Dib's Irken disguise fritzes out and disappears. He's human again...]

"I'm back to normal?..."

"Oh no- Jaz-"

[Dib swings the door open and runs outside to go and search for his fallen friend.]

[But it proves to be much harder than anticipated.]
