HAIKYUU!! SEASON 1 SPOILER ALERT!!!

I just finished Season 1 of Haikyuu!! and y'all, I am devastated someone please tell me [Spoilers] this team wins, at any point in the next seasons (w/o too many spoilers pls), I just want my current emotional support team to fly high

Freaking Oikawa and overall, Seijo team. I gotta acknowledge their talent & skill, but my Karasuno bois :( (and Kiyoko "sweet mama" lol)

I am so sad Karasuno lost to Seijo - But hopes up for Spring Nationals in Tokyo!

Also, I have no idea what the timeline is for the inter high prelims or nationals I am more confused than I need to be

Since his voice is higher pitched he would have a higher pitched sneeze… But like a few octaves higher (not entirely like a kitten sneeze but kinda similar).

Just read Kick It Up a Notch and while the event's story was good why did it do the thing that a good chunk of VBS stories do (especially the more recent ones since Walk On and On) of just dragging the fuck on certain points 😭

Project Sekai's pacing is overall pretty great considering how story heavy and extensive it is! With Leo/Need and Nightcord being perfectly paced and WxS and MMJ having minor yet negligible hiccups but then Vivid Bad Squad's is just all over the place?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying their story is bad (trust me they do have banger,good paced stories and I'm excited for the heartbreaking plot twist coming up in June) but some of them just drag on for far too long

For example, Toya getting inspiration from the hospital guy is interesting but it loses it's appeal when it feels like 75% is focused on him and not Toya making music (and later getting to appreciate his bond with Akito) which was supposed to be the plot of the event??

And also the aforementioned recent Kohane event with the middle just feeling like meandering to have the ending randomly feel like her version of Vivid Old Tale minus the nostalgic undertone turned sad by more recent info and the much better pacing that event had

I have more examples of this but I don't want make this rant(?) much longer but TLDR vbs please stop making parts of your events go on for far too long 😭

Magical Boy Tournament: Losers Bracket Round 1

Satoshi Hiwatari

satoshi literally turns into the evil part of an angel duo who both come from a magic painting.

RUBS MY HANDS TOGETHER. OK. Satoshi Hiwatari. My god this boy. Daisuke, the MC, gets a funny little shoujo whoopsie where he transforms into his alternate magical boy self when he sees his crush? That's cute. Satoshi gets the other half of that curse, where instead HIS magical boy self sniffs out Daisuke's like a gay yandere bloodhound, and RIPS himself out of his host body to go pursue the guy to the death. This more or less dooms him to an early death where he has to secure an heir even as young as _junior high school_ because if he doesn't no one in his blood line will stay alive to try and fix this. Cause oh yeah, it's HIS artsy fartsy ancestor who decided to fuck around with forbidden magic that made this happen. So not only is he living a cursed, shortened life solely based around trying to fix his ancestors mistake, he can't even make stuff of his OWN since people of his blood line are fated to make work with a life of its own, and a life intrinsically meant to suffer. This boy catches a break literally only once, and that is by transforming without hurting himself a single time thanks to experiencing one (1) positive emotion that helped him transform the same way Daisuke does. He's in so much pain just being alive that a singular positive emotion is more or less a turning point in his whole life. And he still finds time to be the commander of an entire police department, top student in his class, and bisexual disaster. I stand my incredibly sad boy inflicted with chronic 'other people's problems becoming his death sentences" syndrome.

understandable! it's not like i'm saying that her being voted guilty would be bad, all verdicts would be terrible for the prisoners, just in different ways. i just got a bit surprised because i expected a bit more innocent prisoners this season and i thought that reina is most likely going to be one of them :'D but oh well, looks like asahi is the only one who got lucky with his full innocent combo this time..

im actually working on that ruikasa essay and asahi has managed to work himself into this. fuck that guy. you're not meant to be here (asahi is basically tsukasa 2 and his relationship with rui serves as a narrative parallel to tsukasa and rui in the main story which ultimately leads to rui realising what's most important to him in this essay i will)
