The physical pain when you look up fics for a fandom and a good chunk of the top ones by bookmarks are Har*y Po*ter crossovers T-T
#it was eragon btw#I recently read murtagh and was feeling nostalgic#so of course I thought “oh let’s see what’s on Ao3!#(instant regret)#you can also Tell which fics were before the whole brothers reveal#because apparently eragon/murtagh used to be like the main fandom ship???#which makes sense if you don’t Know but still#if I hadn’t been a literal infant when I first read them I might’ve shipped them#Arya definitely didn’t deserve to be relegated to female love interest status#ANYWAYS#im not saying there isn’t SOME good stuff in there and obviously this is all my opinions if you like Harry Potter crossovers#more power to you#but I’m a bit disappointed there isn’t more stuff just for eragon
