I think they mean that unless the baby fits some old white mans standards of “normal” it is very likely they will be a victim of violence and hate and often people are killed because of this. But they don’t care about human lives all that much when a black, gay, queer, trans, or disabled person is killed (I could go on unfortunately). If you’re pro life you have to be pro all lives, if not you’re just pro fetus and pro controlling women.

Omg I have this exact situation in my wip

Two characters who finally reunite. Maybe one was whumped, or maybe they both were, but it was awful and there were so many uncertainties, they could've easily never seen each other again. But they never gave up hope.

The running towards the other (or stumbling because their injuries won't allow anything more) and the crushing hug, pulling the other close to them, never wanting to let go again.

Then slightly pulling back to see the other's face, to confirm this is real. They're bruised and bloody, but they can't help but laugh with relief.

I’ve been thinking about this lately, I’m not a fan of the words we use that much and I like victim as an alternative, it’s more angsty lol, whumpee is too much of a mouthful

i actually think “whump” as a word is fine and kinda has a nice mouthfeel but i dont like the words whumpee or whumper those have a badddd mouth feel. like im willing to accept them for everyone’s interest but as soon as all the whump boomers die we’re switching to a different system.
