The greatest gift you can give someone is your genuine appreciation and compliment.” Debasish Mridha
Knowing how to give compliments professionally can improve your communication skills and relationships with others. It can also build your confidence and improve your reputation as a positive and supportive person. Giving compliments in a professional manner can also help you establish a positive and respectful work environment.
Here’s are 05 tips for giving a professional compliment. 💥✨
1️⃣ Be specific: Instead of just saying “good job” be specific about what you liked and what they did. For example, “your presentation was well-organised and engaging. I appreciate how you included real-life examples to illustrate your point.
2️⃣ Be timely: Don’t wait too long to give a compliment. If you see someone doing something well, let them know right away. For example, “I just wanted to say you did a great hod facilitating the meeting today. You kept us on track and made sure everyone had a chance to share their thoughts.”
3️⃣ Be sincere: Your compliment should be genuine. Don’t give a compliment to flatter someone. For example, “I was really impressed with how you handled the difficult client, You stayed calm & professional and you were able to find a so
4️⃣ Be respectful: Make sure your compliment is appropriate and respectful, Avoid commenting on someone’s appearance & personal life. Stick to their work and achievements. For example, “I really wanted to let you know that your report was informative and well-researched. You clearly put a lot of time and effort into it.”
5️⃣ Be inclusive: Make sure you’re giving compliments to everyone, not just a select few. This create a positive work environment and build morale. For example, “I wanted to@thank everyone for their hard work on the project. You all did a fantastic job and I”m really proud of what we accomplished together.”

Preserving relationships is an art and you can also be an amazing artist Conflicts are part of human communication and hence those are integrated to our relationships. Many times we say Sorry to people How many of you know that just a sorry doesn’t work many times to solve a conflict effectively? When there is a conflict most of us do justify our side with reasons. This is a natural trend of us to put domination on other side through logical or emotional efforts. At the same time the other side also would do this kind of effort to dominate back and eventually the damages may grow. Most of us are trained to say sorry during conflicts but not trained how to say sorry. An effective apology to solve a conflict contains 3 layers in it 1. The first one is a sincere line of apology. Many people do this often while trying to solve a conflict 2. All what you do at the second step is say what you did (neither why not accepting as right or wrong) The second part of the most critical layer. Accept the act you did earlier which made you say sorry. Most of the time we will have tendencies to explain why we did that and eventually that leads to continuous arguments and growth of exploding fire in relationship. Always we want the other one to accept our side and while we explain it is obvious us that the other side also keep arguing with justifications most of the relationship issues are raised at this place more than at place of origin of conflict. “How dare you to say that” kind of attitude can be easily killed when we don’t have ego to accept what we did. Remember, this doesn’t mean that you have to agree that you did a mistake. Ego of human beings dissolve easily with people who take responsibility of their actions and take responsibility of what you did. 3. This is the post surgical medication supplement of every conflict. Say or offer what can you do to correct or rectify your action further. Remember to offer this sincerely and unconditionally Preserving relationships is an art and you can also be an amazing artist #relationships #lifeskills #conflictresolution #apology #communicationskills #artofcommunication #adcs #counsellingskills #ischs (at ISCHS - Indian School of Counselling And Healing Studies) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAUWcODBUME/?igshid=jzxd63t6jbn

• #MemoirsOfAGeisha Geisha (or geiko) are professional entertainers who attend guests during meals, banquets and other occasions. They are trained in various traditional Japanese arts, such as dance and music, as well as in the art of communication. Their role is to make guests feel at ease with conversation, drinking games and dance performances. Some people believe that geisha are prostitutes, this however is false. #芸者 #芸子 #芸妓 #Geisha #Geiko #Entertainers #TraditionalJapaneseArts #Dance #Music #ArtOfCommunication #Conversation #DrinkingGames #Gion #Kyoto #Japan ♥️ #Portrait_Society #Portraiture #PortraitOfTheDay #PortraitPhotography #Portrait_Mood #InstaPortrait #Portrait_Shots #PursuitOfPortrait #PortraitSociety #RSA_Portraits #DiscoverPortrait #Portraits_Today #PortraitsFromTheWorld #MoodyPortraits (at Gion, Kyoto) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_AO5zGj2tv/?igshid=138xraenmug2v

Broken Language
How many of you use short forms or spell the words as per your convenience and comfort while texting a friend or anyone or on social media for that matter? Like, wanna, gonna, frn, blv (believe), rcv (receive) and there are many more such examples. Few of them are actually slangs and are used in American English in informal conversation in spoken English. Such words have no place in formal and…

the “art” of communication
an analysis of Jimmy Nelson’s TED Talk
Jimmy Nelson talks about his personal experiences during his travels to photograph indigenous life and shares to the audience some important points about communication. Jimmy tells us about how he communicated with the indigenous people despite not knowing their language, norms and overall lifestyle through simple gestures, common language and shared meanings that all humans have and share by instinct, and what awed me was that certain fact. Jimmy and the indigenous people did not need to share much words to connect with each other, they did not need technical explanation to receive what Jimmy wanted to portray to them. His passion to reach to these people and show them his photos were enough for them to understand what he wanted to say, without exactly hearing it and that, I think, is what created the beautiful bond between Jimmy and the indigenous people he meets. And when he presents his photos to the world, it sparks beautiful emotions, thoughts and shows us and makes us understand who these people are and how important they are for us, which is exactly what he wanted to portray, and that is proof of the successful communication created between him, his photos, and the people.
Some questions I would really like to ask sir Jimmy:
What was the biggest challenge when it came to making them understand your message and intentions? Do language barriers really stop us from having effective communication at all? These are questions I’ve garnered from the video.
