hi! my name is myles. i'm a 17 year-old transmasc and queer traditional artist (mostly). i also like writing (@mylezwuzwriting).

i draw a lot of subjects: furries, dresses, portraits, fanart (tloz, toh, spop, good omens, and more), a lot of my cat, ocs (occasionally), and concept art for my novel idea. you can also find my art... here . im also on cara and pinterest ! I post on each of those with varying consistency depending on what I can access the easiest

a lot of my art is done in my sketchbook, but i also paint outside of it! i reblog a lot of art.

i'm planning on opening commissions when i get the opportunity, but until then i'm open for art trades and requests! my ask box is open, and so are my dms.

Likes are great and all, but they don't really do anything to actually support artists, especially small ones like myself. Yes, becoming popular is in part a matter of luck, however that luck IS influenced by your participation

I understand how art may not fit your blog aesthetic/theme, but there are ways to go around this. First, you can create a side blog just for reblogging art. Second, you can use a specific tag when reblogging art for your followers to filter so they don't see art if they don't want to. (I use the tags 'carnivore talks' or 'carnivore vents' for my personal posts so people don't have to see my venting if they don't want to)

I want to get into commissions. I want to make money off of selling my sculptures and drawings. I can't do that effectively if I don't get the interaction I need to reach people who would buy from me

The truth of Tumblr is likes are nice, but no one actively looks at the posts you like, they're always going to focus on what you reblog, so liking art doesn't really help artists
