Eyes on the ground
Reader/Son x Clark Kent & Lois Lane
Request - I wanted to ask if it was possible for you to write a AU of sorts. A crossover between Scarlet Witch and Superman & Lois. Where Clark and Lois have a third son and turns out that he's he's krypton's Scarlet Witch/Warlock. MC is younger than the twins.
Tumblr media
Lois and Clark are in the kitchen talking alone. They see you playing catch with your brothers outside.
“Do you think any of them will get powers?” Lois asked.
“Maybe… I’m not sure. They don't show any signs and nothing strange has happened for now” Clark said.
“They are too young. I just want them to have a normal childhood” Lois said.
“I understand. Let's not worry about that for now” Clark said.
They see you are playing rough with your brothers. It was Jon's idea to play football in the backyard. You wanted to show off and prove that you are strong enough to play rough. Jon threw the ball at Jordan but you caught the ball, then you and Jon started to wrestle for the ball. Lois and Clark left the kitchen and went to stop you and your brothers playing rough.
“Boys enough” Clark yelled.
He grabbed the football then you and your brothers, then you started to breathe hard.
“We were playing,” Jordan said.
“We told you three many times not to play rough,” Lois said.
“It’s football. I'm strong they can't beat me” You said.
You start to flex your biceps and your brothers roll their eyes.
“Y/N, you can't play rough every time you play football,” Lois said.
“I’m not a baby,” You whined.
You hate it when they treat you like a baby, you want to prove to them that you're not a baby.
“Go inside the house all of you,” Clark said.
“Not fair. I was having fun” You said frustrated.
You kicked the football so hard that you broke the kitchen window. Jordan and Jon gasped and you didn't expect to break the window.
“In the house now!” Lois yelled.
“Sorry,” You said.
You and everyone else go inside the house. Your father made you clean up the mess while he watched over you. He starts to give you the speech and you really don't want to listen to the speech but you don't say anything.
In the family, you're the youngest, and your parents are more protective of you. You always try to prove that you are not a baby and don't need protection. Clark and Lois love their boys but you are a bit wild because you like to explore.
———-
Jordan and Jon want pizza for dinner. They asked their parents but they said no, then Jordan got an idea.
“Y/N, go ask mom and dad for pizza for dinner,” Jordan said.
“You and Jon already asked and they said no,” You said.
He puts his arm around your shoulders.
“They will say yes to you because you are the rainbow child,” Jordan said.
“Don’t call me that” You said.
“It’s true, Y/N. You know mom had miscarriages before she had you. Go ask for pizza” Jon said.
“Okay, but they will say no,” You said.
They follow you downstairs, but they are in the hallway listening. You are in the living room, while Lois and Clark are sitting down on the couch.
“Mom, dad can we have pizza for dinner?” You asked
“Okay, sure. I will order the pizza, Y/N do you want to come with me?” Clark said.
“Yeah,” You said.
Jordan and Jon are happy that they will eat pizza for dinner. You leave the house with your dad and get in the truck, he lets you pick the radio station. He listens to you talk about your favorite band.
After buying pizza and before going home, he stopped the truck.
“Why we stopped?” You asked.
“I’m going to show you how to drive” Clark smiled.
“That is cool!” You smiled big.
You and your dad switched seats. You are feeling so excited that your cheeks are hurting from smiling. He starts to tell you what to do and you follow his instructions. You are starting to drive the truck slowly
“You are doing great, Y/N,” Clark said.
“Wow, this is fun” You giggled.
You go a little fast and he tells you how to stop the car and go again. Then he made you change seats now he is driving home, and you tell him how fun it was to drive.
✬ ✫ ✯ ✫
Tal-Rho sent his army to attack the town. Everyone is starting to panic and trying to get out of town. Clark went to fight Tal-Rho somewhere. Your mom made you and your brothers get ready to head to the army base in town. You and your family head to the truck but Tal-Rho’s army arrives.
“Stay away from us,” Lois said.
“Mom,” You said.
You are feeling scared and they are feeling scared also.
“Stay away from us!” You yelled.
You run towards the person to punch them, but they push you hard towards the ground. You want to prove that you are strong but the person was going to attack Jon but Jon stepped in and got hurt, the enemy used heat vision to hurt your brother. Jon fell to the ground and he was bleeding fast you ran towards him.
“Jon!” You cried out.
You touch his stomach and you see the blood on your hand. Your heart is racing faster and you start to cry.
“Jon, I’m sorry! I-I didn't want you to get hurt. I'm sorry!” You cried out.
Lois and everyone noticed a magic aura surrounding your body.
“Mom, what is going on?” Jordan asked.
“What are you doing to him!?” Lois yelled at them.
“We are not doing that to him,” He said.
Your eyes changed colors then you yelled, then a powerful magic blast and you hit the enemies. They passed out and your magic from your hands went to your brother’s body and he is starting to get healed. Jon looks at you then the magic disappears. Lois helped you and Jon stand up then she hugged you and your brother.
“What just happened?” Jordan asked.
“We will figure that out later, now we have to go,” Lois said.
Your mom took you and your brothers to the army base in town. Your brothers are looking at you strangely and they start to ask questions, but you don't know how to answer them.
Clark arrived at the base with the suit on. You and your brothers don't know yet that your father is Superman. Everyone knows that you are a huge fan of Superman. You have some posters and action figures in your bedroom. You run towards him and you are smiling
“I’m a big fan” You smiled.
“Oh… um thanks for being a fan” Clark smiled.
“I can't believe I'm really meeting you” You happily said.
“Superman we need to talk,” Sam said.
He followed your grandfather to a private area and Lois is there. They start to talk about what is going on.
“What do you mean, Y/N has powers?” Clark asked.
“Not the same powers as you. It seemed powers like John Constantine, would have but his powers actually appeared all over his body. Jon was hurt but he saved him” Lois said.
“How did he even get magic?” Clark asked.
“I have no idea, I thought you would know. Go change, the boys need you right now” Lois said.
“It will be okay,” Clark said.
Clark hugged his wife and kissed her on the lips. Clark tells Sam, what Tal-Rho wants to do. They talked for a while then Clark changed clothes then went to see you and your brothers. You start to tell him what happened and Clark asks questions about the powers, but you don't know what to say. Then Clark went to talk with Jon and he hugged his son tightly.
——-
You are lying in your bed and your dad walked in. He sits on the edge of the bed and before he can say a word, you said something first.
“Are you and mom going to send me away?” You asked.
“What makes you think that we would send you away?” Clark asked.
You sit up and you struggle to say something at first, but he waits for you to say something.
“Because I have powers and it's my fault that Jon got hurt,” You said in a low voice.
“Y/N, we love you and we will never send you away. You are our son and we will never abandon you. And it's not your fault that Jon got hurt. He doesn't blame you, Y/N. This is new to us and we will get through this together” Clark smiled.
“Thanks, dad” You said.
Your dad hugged you tight and you believe what he said to you.
“Go to sleep, it's late,” Clark said.
“I’m not tired,” You said.
“Nice, try. Y/N, go to sleep it's written on your face that you are tired” Clark said
“Goodnight,” You said.
“Goodnight, Y/N,” Clark said.
You lie down and you watch your dad turn off the light and leave. You close your eyes and you start to fall asleep.
✬ ✫ ✯ ✫
Clark just told you and your brothers that he is Superman. He picked up a truck, Jon and Jordan were in shock but not you.
“Y/N, you don't seem impressed,” Lois said.
“I saw dad, use his powers before and I saw his suit in the closet. The glasses are not a good disguise” You said.
“How come you didn't say anything?” Jordan asked.
“You and Jon wouldn't believe me. One time, I saw dad use his ice breath to put out the fire in the barn. I don't want to wear my underwear on the outside, no offense dad” You said.
“Y/N, I’m not asking you to wear your underwear on the outside. So that means, I have magic and I have the same powers as you?” You said.
“So, cool I have the same powers like dad” Jon grinned.
“Do I have powers?” Jordan asked
“We don't know yet,” Lois said.
“Sorry, I’m late I had to deal with something in hell,” John Constantine said.
He appeared through a magic portal. Clark introduced John to you and your brothers. Then John lights his cigarette and he stares at you.
“Why is he here?” You asked.
“He has magic and he will people with it. We don't know anything about magic and we thought that he could help you” Clark said.
“He is old and smells bad,” You said.
“Y/N, don't say that. That is rude” Lois said.
Your brothers couldn't help to laugh.
“And you still wet the bed,” John said.
“Whatever, old man,” You said.
“You two be nice. And try not to go hard on my son” Clark said.
“I can't promise anything. Let's get started” John said
Your family watches John use his magic. You try to use your magic but nothing is coming out of your hands. But he laughed then he hit you with your magic and you fell to the ground.
“John! I told you not to be hard on my son!” Clark yelled.
John used his magic to stop your parents from interfering.
“I know what I'm doing!” John yelled.
“Don’t hurt them!” You yelled.
You are walking forward towards him. Then a powerful magic arua starts to come out of your hands. Then everyone witnessed a dark magic book appear in front of you. It turned to the page on what magic to use
“How did you make that book come to you?” John asked.
You read the magic words and used the magic to hurt John. But he was quick to block your magic with his magic. You tried again but he blocked it again. Then he stopped and he tried to get the book but the book moved closer to you.
“Boy, you do have any idea what book you have!?” John said very loud.
“No. It's my first time seeing it” You said.
“That book is called Darkhold and it's connected to you. Study that book from start to end. contained spells, formulas, and information on how to create machines to harness energy from other dimensions, Study the book” John said.
“Wow, that is a lot,” You said.
You hold the book and you won't let him read it. John explained what kind of magic you have to your parents. Lois isn't happy about you having chaos magic and she doesn't want you to have magic. But she won't stop loving you and Clark will feel the same way. Later, John teaches you how to summon your magic and how to control it.
———-
You haven't been studying the Darkhold magic book. You are playing catch with your brothers in the barn. You and Jon are trying to help Jordan activate his powers. Jordan tried to pick the tractor but he couldn't do it.
“I guess i don't have super strength,” Jordan said
“Try throwing the football far?” You said.
“I can try,” Jordan said.
Jon laughed because he knew that Jordan couldn't throw the football.
“I can throw a football,” Jordan said
“Yeah, right. But go ahead and you will miss” Jon laughed.
You throw the football at your brother but with force. He didn't catch the ball and the ball went through the wall.
“Mom and dad are going to ground you forever,” Jon said.
“Why you didn't catch the ball!?” You yelled.
“You didn't throw it straight!” Jordan yelled.
You tried to use your magic to fix the hole, but you opened a portal for a few seconds but it closed.
“What was that!?” Jon yelled
“I don't know, I’m still figuring out my powers,” You said.
Again you used your magic and you fixed the hole. You are smiling about it because you won't get in trouble. But you started to play with your brothers again, they kept throwing the ball at each other so you wouldn't catch it. But you used your magic to catch the ball and you are happy about it.
“That’s cheating,” Jon said.
“You are just slow” You teased
They started to chase you and you started to run fast. Lois and Clark are outside talking and you run toward them, but Jon uses his speed to catch up to you. He tried to get the ball but you won't let go, then Clark and Lois made him let go. He got in trouble but not you and they made you and your brothers go back inside the house.

title: Protecting the Wrong Person
category: Gen
fandom: Batfamily
characters and relationships: Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne, Jason Todd, Dick Grayson, Diana Prince
warnings: some violence, swearing, descriptions of injury, blood, accidentally hurting someone
Summary:
@ailesswhumptober Day 17: Abandonment, misunderstanding, “Why did I even think you cared?”
Clark stumbles across Batman confronting the Red Hood and intervenes, but (especially with the Bats) things are never as they seem.
notes: one of the first fics I wrote for this month! I really like this one tbh
Diana flew beside him as they quickly zeroed in on Bruce’s position, the docks at Gotham Harbor. “Try not to sneak up on them,” she’d said as they set off from the zeta tube. As if Clark needed reminding. The last time he had accidentally startled Bruce, he’d ended up with a Kryptonite batarang stuck in his palm. But Diana didn’t seem too worried about it, and neither was Clark; today was a peaceful day, and all they wanted to do was pick Bruce up early for a Watchtower briefing (and if they were accused of intending to sneak an episode of the Gray Ghost on the Watchtower surveillance screens before the meeting, they would surely deny it).
“Nearly there,” Clark said to her now. They were approaching the harbor, and he could see Batman and Nightwing facing down Red Hood. He tensed when he realised the rogue was armed, gesturing casually with twin pistols as he spoke, but their heartbeats were steady. They had it under control. Diana and Clark would not intervene unless it was absolutely necessary. He reined his senses back in to keep from eavesdropping — Bruce was always going on about privacy, despite the fact that he was always keeping tabs on everyone.
Batman said something, and Hood replied. Nightwing chimed in before gesturing to Hood, probably admonishing him for being so nonchalant with the pistols. His heart jumped into his throat as the criminal visibly scoffed and gestured even more pointedly at both of them, leveling one at each vigilante.
The gun was pointing straight at Bruce’s face. Hood’s finger shifted on the trigger, and Clark saw red.
~
Bruce watched fondly as Dick and Jason bickered over who had really taken out the last henchman.
“It’s my bullet.”
“And it would never have hit him without me kicking that panel into place.”
“All you can take credit for is the rebound. I shot it!”
Bruce resisted the urge to reach out and indulgently pat Jason on the shoulder (or even more embarrassing, ruffle his hair). “Nightwing, Hood. Good work.” Dick looked content enough with that, but Jason rolled his eyes perceptibly.
“It was good until Big Bird tried to take credit for my moves.” He jabbed one pistol at Dick, and Bruce tried to imagine him pouting under his mask.
“Little Wing, put those things away, you’re gonna shoot someone,” Dick said admonishingly.
Jason scoffed. “Please. As annoying as you are, I think I can not accidentally put a bullet in either of you. Comes from, y’know, having years of experience handling firearms and some fucking common sense.” He pointed the other at Bruce. “See? Not dead.”
Bruce opened his mouth to chide him, but couldn’t.
One second Jason was standing in front of them, then there was a flash of blue and red.
And then he heard Jason scream.
His body was moving before his brain knew he was, every instinct pulling him to pull his son away from the attacker. It took him a second longer than he liked to recognise who it was rearing back for another blow, and every bit of his panic and anger and shock snapped into his voice as he shouted.
“SUPERMAN.”
He froze at his name, and Bruce looked to Dick, but his eldest had already made it to Clark, wrapping his arms around familiar broad shoulders and yanking harshly back. If it had been just about anyone else, the super would have refused to budge, Bruce knew. But it was Dick, and he was close enough to see Clark’s eyes widen as he went down willingly.
Dick had always adored, borderline idolised Clark, trusted him with his life and the lives of his team and everyone else counting on them to save the world. But now Dick — cheery, gentle Dick — was snarling and pressing a Kryptonite dagger to Superman’s throat. “Get away from him.” He obviously had it handled (wait, where the hell did he get-? Nope, never mind, not now), so Bruce moved to Jason and felt the mask of his expression crack.
He was lying in the ruins of what used to be a brick wall, helmet cracked, one leg bending at an unnatural angle, the jagged edge of a bloody bone poking out of his side, and he was screaming. His baby boy, his son, who could take bullets without flinching and stitch himself up with barely a sound, was screaming in pain.
Bruce dropped to his knees beside Jason and reached for his helmet, pressing his thumb to the button that disabled the electric safeguards and pulling it off to cradle his son’s face. “Jason. Jay, can you hear me?”
“Nnh- B-Bruce?”
“Shhh. I’ve got you. You’ll be okay.”
Distantly, he heard Diana land behind him and pull Dick and Clark apart. “Kal-El, what have you done?” she whispered. Clark made no reply.
Blood bubbled from the side of Jason’s mouth as he let out a plaintive whimper, and Bruce stroked his hair soothingly before tearing himself away and rounding on his best friend.
“You made this mess. You’ll fix it,” he growled, jabbing one finger into the symbol on his chest. “Take him to the Watchtower.”
Clark winced, probably at the look on Bruce’s face rather than the jab. “Bruce, I,” was all he said before Diana slipped past him to look Bruce in the eye.
“He’ll react better to me, and you know it.”
“…Fine.” She frowned, but didn’t reprimand him and went to gingerly pick Jason up.
Jason gave a strangled cry of pain, and Bruce was at his side in an instant. “It’s okay, sweetheart. Just breathe for me.” He felt something in his chest constrict at the sight of Jason struggling to regulate his breathing. Brushing bits of rubble from his hair, Bruce leaned over to press a soft kiss to his forehead. “That’s it, Jaylad. You’re doing great.” He stepped back to let them go, shooting Clark one last glare.
Dick watched them from a nearby crate with eyes narrowed like a panther’s, smoothly returning the dagger to his belt and falling into step behind Bruce as Diana and Clark lifted off and he headed to the Batmobile. “I know he didn’t mean to,” he muttered, the first words he’d said since pinning his role model to the wall with a lethal weapon, “but he did.” Bruce agreed, pausing to squeeze his shoulder briefly. If he spoke, he was going to start yelling and never stop.
They got into the Batmobile and headed to the Gotham zeta tube. He would start yelling, but not at Dick. And the faster they got to the Watchtower, the better. He didn’t want Jason to wake up alone.

Note
— She is also intersex. She has PAIS, a syndrome of partial insensitivity to androgens. She is identified at birth as a boy because her genitals look male and the Drake family needs a male heir.
— She seemed to know that she was different from the boys. There is a lot in this, subtle or conspicuous - she sits quietly in a corner, clutching a teddy bear to her chest, watching her mother in fascination while other boys rush after each other with toy swords.
She differs from other boys in appearance, thin and relatively short, while the rest already reach their mothers' shoulders, and their muscles are strong and sinewy. She looks like her mother. Even Jack notices it-her lush dark hair, her lilac-blue eyes, her thin soft body, even the way she smiles or how beautifully her swan neck bends when she bends over a book.
— She has been longing for a child since childhood, dreams about it most often, it's a little girl, occasionally a boy, sometimes even twins. In dreams, she is an adult and looks even more like her mother, but Janet would never look like this - a simple dress, bare feet in soft socks, carelessly gathered hair. She rocks a bundle in her arms from which a tiny hand reaches out to her, she cradles a crying baby and baby calms down squeezes a tiny face into her neck.
Sometimes she is only pregnant with her child - she is sitting by the fireplace, and the fabric of her dress hugs her stomach, she gently holds her hand on it and looks lovingly at the man standing in the doorway, her love and the father of her child. He is faceless, but she always feels love for him.
— She buys her own things, necessities and her own wishes from an early age, at the age of 7, her Father simply entrusts her with her own card and tells her to use it wisely. She obeys him. All her clothes are actually girlish, even T-shirts and shorts.
She always dresses at home when the housekeeper comes, a kind grandmother with smiling wrinkles at the corners of her eyes. She puts on a T-shirt dress and shorts.
Her hair is always long, but not too long to pay attention to, their gently curling tips touch her neck. Janet calls her Mom's boy with a smile.
— Her body reacts to testosterone and other male hormones with great reluctance and somehow. She has a light light fuzz on her body, a slightly low voice and she grows tall. She or her parents have to say that she is a boy because everyone who meets her for the first time calls her a girl. She doesn't want to dissuade them.
— She makes the transition after her mother's death and while her father is in a coma. Bruce, her guardian, is incredibly gentle and understanding, besides he is already the father of Elissa Adelia Grayson.
It feels like a sweet relief, as if she was standing on the edge, immoderately changing from foot to foot and finally she took a step forward, and soared into the sky, spreading her wings.
— She falls in love with Kon-El, Conner Kent, Superboy, her best friend and her soulmate abruptly and unexpectedly. It's just that one day, in his presence, her heart does her sister's signature somersault and she wants his strong but gentle hand to squeeze hers. He appears in her dreams, he is her beloved husband and the father of her child. She holds her hand on her stomach, Kon hugs her.
— When Bruce, her father, her Kon, Bart are dead, she feels her mind bursting at the seams under the onslaught of grief and pain. She collects Kon's things, everything could keep his pieces in. She thinks it's wrong...
— She holds her hand on the warm glass, the soft greenish liquid gently sparkles, two tiny embryos, viable and developing, seem to react to this, react to her. She puts her other hand on her stomach, a ghostly warmth warms her from the inside. Everything is almost as she dreamed, only Kon is not around.
she is everything to me. you can't even imagine she is everything to me
whenever i thought about tim as a girl in the context of this au, i always ended up thinking that in that case, cloning a child wouldn't be a mistake/accident but rather a planned and expected outcome, so you've pretty much guessed my own headcanons
(I'd sooo read a fic about her. scratch that I'd write a fic about her if could still write but oh well)

🌹🌹🌹 would absolutely LOVE if you had anything with Jamie and Sarah interacting... your version of sarah kent is everything to me <3
THANK YOUUUUU i really really love writing her, she's honestly one of my favourite elements of Most tl fics i write. characters like her, blank slates with a lot of possibility and just enough implication to be absolutely fascinating, are my kryptonite. i've got a whole fic about like. the evolving dynamic of her and jamie on the docket, and - of course - some stuff i'm SUPER hyped for coming up in wriggle up on dry land, which is where this is from. (far.... FAR ahead lmaooo)
it's. a bit long. (it's very long....) but hey y'all have waited a very long time for chapter nine so maybe we're all due some indulgence.
While Jamie has been in the house before several times, he hasn't put much effort into studying it before. There had always been something to do, some kind of point to hold his attention. Now, there's nothing. Even the sound is quiet and distant - just Sarah moving around in the other room. Left to his own devices, Jamie wanders and observes. There are medical textbooks crammed in next to kiddie stories on the shelves, all mashed together without any rhyme or reason. There are some art prints along one wall, mostly watercolours, along with a framed piece dotted with a border of flowers and calligraphied in a language he doesn't know - probably, he's gleaned through context clues, Hebrew. None of the furniture matches and somehow it all looks nice anyway. And then there's the part that brings Jamie to a stop entirely, his meandering footsteps halted in front of the far wall. The pictures.
It's not a large wall, but it's studded with enough framed photos to make it seem endless to Jamie as he takes in each one individually. In the least surprising turn of events imaginable, a great majority feature Phoebe. She is depicted as an infant, impossibly tiny and so fragile-looking Jamie is almost afraid even to look at the photo of her, and grows throughout into the age she is now. It would be no mystery to anyone who glanced at this wall what held the place of Sarah Kent's pride and joy. There's even a spectacularly hilarious picture of Roy wearing his baby niece on his chest in one of those little harness things, looking sternly at the camera. Jamie snickers at the sight of it, choosing to focus on that rather than in the small, hot ache he feels inside when he thinks too hard about the way Sarah looks at her daughter in the pictures of the two of them together.
Roy is in plenty of other photos too. There are a few snapshots of a boy and a girl with the same dark, curly hair, and one that Jamie immediately recognizes as the day that Chelsea won the Champions League, Sarah's arms around her brother's waist and twin elated grins on their faces. A woman with various brightly-framed pairs of glasses that Jamie vaguely recognizes is in almost as many photos as Roy. He squints at a picture of her and Sarah asleep on a couch together with identical posture and matching doctor's scrubs until he places her as Sarah's best friend, Maggie Something-or-Other. There are a few other friends, some coworkers, a group shot of Phoebe's class and one of Roy's team, and then...
Jamie's mouth is dry and his ears feel hot as he stands in Sarah Kent's house and stares at his own face. Because Jamie is up on that wall, too, in two very recent pictures. One of them is posed, from the day Richmond was promoted. He's standing with Roy, tucked tight into the man's side under his arm. They're both smiling, bits of red and blue confetti in their hair, eerily reminiscent of the Champions League picture of the Kent siblings together. The other framed photo is candid - Jamie crouched in the grass and looking seriously down at something, Phoebe craning her neck as she scrutinizes the same spot on the ground, her hands braced on Jamie's shoulder as she stands beside him.
There had been a beetle in the grass. Jamie remembers it clearly now that he sees the picture. She had come running over demanding his attention and telling him that he needed to come at once because there was a strange bug and she needed him to see it. He can still close his eyes and feel the fidgety press of her hands on his shoulder, the way she'd leaned the entirety of her small weight against him without a thought to whether he was sturdy enough to keep her standing. It was a really nice day. Oh, it was a little too cold and the wind kept picking up and slowing down at random and he'd slept poorly the night before and been tired, but it was a really nice day.
The beetle in the grass with its iridescent, shiny shell. Phoebe's warm little fingers, digging into his shoulder. She'd insisted on holding Jamie's hand on the walk back to Roy's house.
Sarah's footsteps are loud enough on the creaky wooden floor that, as lost in thought as he is, Jamie isn't startled by her presence when she arrives behind him. They're both quiet for a moment, studying the wall of photos.
"I'm up there," Jamie eventually says. It's a silly, stupid thing to say, but his throat feels thick and his hands are tingling a little bit and there's nothing else in his head.
"Yeah," Sarah agrees. "I can swap 'em out if you want. If you don't like those ones, I mean, you can have Roy send me some you do like."
That was... not the problem. Not the question.
"But I..." The rest of the sentence falls away, gone before Jamie can even figure out what it was going to be. She knows who he is. She knows his name and his history and how long it's been since she met him. It's not as if the pictures just appeared there one day. Sarah had done this on purpose. She had printed photos of Jamie and framed them and hung them up along with all the others of her daughter and her brother and her best mate.
With a sudden burst of impulsive drive, Jamie turns sharply to the side and wraps his arms around Sarah. He presses his face into her shoulder and breathes deeply, wrestling with the burning at the backs of his eyes and the catch in his breath. Sarah is shorter than him by just enough to notice, but when she hugs him back, he feels young and small. There are a dozen different things he wants to say - about how they're nice pictures, she can keep them up there forever as far as Jamie is concerned, about how hard it is to believe that any of this is happening at all - but he can't piece together any of them. From the way she just stands there with him, though, one of her hands running lightly up and down his back, he gets the idea that he doesn't need to say any of it. That Sarah already knows.

You felt her stomach twist as you walked into Vickie May’s Diner. You were meeting with the twins before your training session with Clark. But all day you’ve had this feeling like something was going to happen. “(N/N), you okay?” Jonathan asked you, noticing your dazed look.
“Mhmm? Oh, I’m okay” You brushed off. Jon and Jordan gave you a weird look. “You sure? Cause your wrist is … glowing” Jordan whispered. You looked at your wrist, seeing the faint family crest glow. “Impossible” You gasped, quickly getting up and putting the money for the food on the table. “We need to see your Dad, now” You spoke urgently, rushing out with your brothers behind you.
You three ran down to the Gazette, opening the door with a loud bang. “(Y/N)! Boys!” Lois exclaimed, hands on her hips. “No time to explain Lois, family emergency!” You told her. Lois excused herself to Chrissy as she followed her sons out as (Y/N) rushed. “Wait up! What’s wrong?” Lois asked you, seeing that even her boys were confused.
You stopped at your motorbike, turning to Lois and the twins. “Me! My wrist is glowing, that only means one th-” You were cut off by the sight of something falling in the distance. “Oh, my Rao” You gasped, grabbing Lois and the boys before flying to the crash sight.
Tumblr media
You landed outside the Farm, Clark already inspecting what had fallen. A pod. A Kryptonian pod. Have you opened it?” You asked Clark, running up to him. “No, I just got here” Clark answered. You walked up to the pod, the glowing in your arm intensifying until it began on the pod.
The glass began to dissipate until You could see the person in the pod. You gasped, taking a step back. “(Y/N)?” Clark called out, placing a hand on your shoulder. A groan emitted from the pod. The person sat up, hand on their face until they looked in your direction.
“12?” They asked, looking at you with a shocked face. “13” You sob, running to them instantly. Wrapping your arms around the same leather jacket that matched yours. “Lara” He cried back at you. “Kon-El” You cried, pulling away and holding his face in your hands. “(Y/N), my baby sister” Kon-El cried, tears falling down his face. “Conner, my twin big brother” You smiled as the tears rolled down.
He stepped out of the pod, showing his towering frame. His hair was dark and curly with shaved sides and a pair of round sunglasses on top. His generic super-suit with the family crest paired with two chunky spiked belts and the signature leather jacket you both would wear.
“How? I saw you die, Conner, he… killed you, Father killed you!” You stated, angry tears running down your face as you hit your brother as hard as you could. Conner skidded back, you had always been stronger than him. “Wow, calm down Smallville” Conner told you, holding your fists with his hands.
“Lex almost killed me…Somehow he stopped me from actually dying. Wanted to use me to stop Pops, permanently until John Irons killed them both. I barely escaped 12” Conner explained to his sister. You just hugged him tighter than before. “I’ve missed you” You whispered.
Tumblr media
Everyone sat around the dining table as Conner and (Y/N) told stories from their world. “No, but then Pops and Ms Genuis over here threw me into the ocean! Like can you believe that… the betrayal!” Conner gave a dramatic gasp, hand over his heart dramatic. You gave him a playful glare. “You know what betrayal, you and Tim! Sweet Rao thank god you both moved to Gotham, I don’t think I would be able to stand another night of you two!” You fake gagged at him.
Conner held you in a headlock, ruffling your hair. “Nah… You and Nat’s late-night phone calls about science were hell. Who the hell talks about nanobots and metal at three in the morning!” Conner argued back, letting you go. “How could you know? Wisdom has been chasing you but you’ve always been too fast little brother” You smirked before everyone but Conner erupted in laughter.
Pouting, Conner glares at you. “I’m older than you!” He argued. You gave him the ‘really bish’ look. “Physically, yes. But I’m 12 your 13” You crossed your arms. “Why do you two call each other that?” Jon asked you. “Easy, I’m Subject 12, Conner’s Subject 13. Their our first names when we were still in Luthor Corp” You explained to him, seeing the shock written on their faces.
“You guys didn’t have real names?” Clark asked. You both shook your heads. “You and Grams named us when you fought me and took 12 in” Conner stated. You furrowed your eyebrows at him. Grandma and Your Dad didn’t name you, Kara did.
Tumblr media
You sat on the edge of the Fortress, hugging your knees. “Hey, you okay?” Clark asked, landing next to you. “I… don’t know” You answered. Clark sat next to you, confused. He thought you’d be ecstatic that your brother was alive. “What’s wrong?” Clark asked, seeing you in deep thought.
“I don’t think that’s Conner”

hiiii
for umich week could u do the reader being powpow twin sister who is a snowboarder going to the olympics and having kjohnny and her get together
THIS IS FROM THE OLYMPICS!!!!!! I AM A HORRIBLE PERSON I AM SORRY!!!
-
You were going to the olympics first. You had known for months and your family were so proud of you. Especially Owen.
So when Owen and Kent came hurdling into your dorm waving around letters like crazy people you were shocked "We're going to the olympics!"
You sat for a moment before it registered in your head and you jumped up and straight into Kent's arms "Oh my god!"
Owen watched slightly confused but had no time to comment as you hugged him too.
The whole time leading up to Beijing you and Kent hadn’t seen much of each other with your respective practices happening.
So when it came time to be in the Olympic village you could spend a little more time together between matches and events.
Kent was front and centre, next to Owen of course to watch you.
“What do you know about snowboarding KJ?” Briss asked as the boys stood waiting for your event to start.
“I-I don’t but the Power’s are like family and I’m here to support Y/N”
Brendan only smirked while nudging Matty “Yeah, sure”
Kent rolled his eyes and Owen had no time to ask what they were implying before you were announced.
The boys knew something was going on between you and Kent, it was painfully obvious to everyone but Owen.
They thought you two would’ve come clean at some point in the start of sophomore year but it was February and it was still a massive secret.
Your runs were perfect - exactly like practiced and the boys were cheering louder than anyone for you.
The scores were perfect, you beamed at the end of the run.
You ran over to your brother and boyfriend, brought into a group hug of congratulations. When you pulled back Owen noticed how your hands lingered on Kent.
When Canada lost and the boys were sent home you were stood waiting for them to get off the ice. Your brother squeezed you tight and you swear you felt him shake with a soft cry.
Kent passed you by, giving you a cold shoulder before heading to the locker room which kind of hurt you. You wanted to support him.
He didn’t speak to you for the rest of the day, completely shaking you before your final event. When you got to the slopes you were wracked with nerves, pacing up and down when Kent found you, stopping your pacing
“You’re going to do great” your eyes shot up to look at him
“You asshole! You’ve been ignoring me all day I’ve been so worried!!”
He looks at you shyly “I’m sorry.. I just I didn’t want to do that infront of Owen!”
You look at him like a crazy person “Do what?!”
“if you held me after that game… I wouldn’t have let you go now stop worrying and go out there and bring home the gold! you’re all Canada’s got going for it now” he jokes and you smile, leaning into his side
“I’m so stressed” he kisses the top of your head “You’re gonna be the best, now go!”
He went back out to join everyone and wait for your run, watching with sweaty nervous hands when they called your name.
He watched your every move, every flip and kick you made and then to the judges once you’d finished.
You won.
You dropped your board into the snow and ran towards the group waiting for you, this time not going for the group hug instead you leaped up against the fence to wrap your arms around Kent.
Briss made a joke to Owen about you both, both turning to face your brother with guilty faces
“Pow-“
Owen put his hand up to stop Kent “I knew the whole time”
You giggled against Kent’s cheek and Owen adds
“Dude I’m your roommate I know you sneak her in after I go to sleep”
“We’re so not good at being quiet”

Jealous siren kent x reader
just a lil imagine/one shot from my wattpad
It's last period on a Friday afternoon in Thornhills' class and everyone was put into groups of  4 to do some research. Thornhill chose the groups yet everyone was with their friends so there weren't many complaints being made, apart from a few people who have petty rivalries or those who wanted to be with their crush or significant other. Kent was put into a group with Divina, Yoko and Rowan set up at the back left hand side of the classroom while you placed at the back right of the room with Ajax, Xavier and Enid. Most of the class were just messing around or catching up on gossip rather than doing any actual research on the origins of the Cobra Lily and the Pitcher Plant, but since it was a Friday afternoon Thornhill wasn't bothered, she actually really enjoys seeing her students getting along and talking, being able to do "normal" teen stuff.

"So yeah and then apparently Bianca absaloughtly went off, I mean I get that some people don't like her but to bring up her mum and the whole 'morning song crap was just crazy!" Divina says slightly frustrated at the thought of her friend being harassed  because of family. "I know D, yet she can eat garlic bread without shitting herself to another death!" Yoko responds back with fake jealousy before bursting out into a fit of laughter along with Divina, Rowan and some other student sat nearby who heard the  vampires antics. Yet Kent didn't let out a chuckle or even a smirk, his focus was on you. His (gf/bf/so) laughing with your face in your elbow while your other arm is hitting Xaviers'. "DUDE WHY, HOW DO STONE YOURSELF" you pause to try and get some air into your giggling system, "Even I'M not that dumb to do that" " I don't know (Y/N) Ajax is a different breed, he's built different, lacking a few braincells" Xavier adds in while Enid is trying her best to not pass out from the excessive laughter caused by the two boys. "Xavier pa-,lease you can't talk, your talent is just being a rip-off Picasso, you draw people like one of your French girls!" You practically wheeze out and slump into his shoulders your body is slowly giving out.
Kent's eyes narrow as he glares daggers at Xavier who is very visibly flustered by your touch. " Oi Kent you good, EARTH TO KENT!" Yoko calls to her Siren friend while slamming her hand onto the desk in front of him. Divina shoots her twin a concerned look "I don't know what's gotten him all-oohhh I think I know what the issue is" Divina cuts herself off as Rowan follows her gaze over to where your group is sat, with You, Ajax and Enid in a laughing fit as Xavier is redder than Weems lipstick sat the result of your touch. Many people know that you and Kent are together as most Sirens tend to be pretty popular and well liked or some cases feared. But Kent still doesn't acknowledge his surroundings, only focussing on you and one if his best mates as if he had a severe case of tunnel vision.
Class flew past for everyone else though, making jokes playing games on the chalk boards with Thornhill. Yet it had been so painfully slow for Kent. Wondering if he's truly good enough for, whether he's too loud or out there for you. His thoughts are interrupted by a pair of familiar arms around his shoulders from behind followed by an all too comforting scent of a specific perfume. "Hey there scaley boy" you exclaim from behind leaving a small kiss across his scales above his cheek. "Hi weird (girl/boy)" he sighs flatly with a forced smile as you two continue to head up to your dorm (that's shared with Divina) hand in hand. You can sense the difference in his  demeanour but brush it off as tiredness since it was a pretty hectic class to finish the week. Once you two get inside your dorm he flops onto your bed and hold your pillow which he usually only ever does if he's sick, really pissed of or just feeling a bit blue. You quickly dump your bag down at your desk and lay down next to him lifting up his hair to reveal a pained siren, the siren that had your heart in the palm of his hand.
"keeeeeeeennntt" you say dragging out the e, "speeeaaak too meeeeeee, because youve never been this quiet and its unsettling" you coo into his ear while gently rubbing his back. "I was watching you in class before" he finally croaks out breaking the short silence as he looks up at you, you respond with a nod urging him to continue. "the way you all were laughing and messing around, how happy you looked, the way Xavier," he paused to take a deep breathe trying to calm himself down "Seeing Xavier getting all hot and flustered anytime you looked at him or he made you laugh. When you fell into his side and he practically stopped breathing on the spot. I couldn't help but get jealous, i mean he is THE Xavier Thorpe, he's rich, he's funny, he's nice and he has half the school at his feet I just, I just felt like he had gotten to you, that you had realised that you like him instead of me." Your heart broke at the sight of your beautiful siren boyfriend with tears brimming his eyes as he ranted about the fear of losing you to Xavier, one of, if not his Best Friend.
"C'mon Kent" his anxiousness soaring through the roof as he waits for you to feel betrayed and untrusted. "you really think I would date THAT, the ripoff Picasso, Nevermores local Slenderman?" You say while holding back a giggle. He sighs and wraps you into one of his famous bear hugs and pulls you to straddle his lap as he hides his face into the crook of your neck. Letting out another sigh, yet this time not saddens, angered or anxious, but a content and relieved sigh as he gives your torso a slight squeeze. "I'm sorry my (girl/boy/so), I didn't mean to depress you, I just couldn't shake the thought. Even it us is pretty stupid" you send him a quizzical look "Kent," you say staring into his breathtakingly crystal like eyes while holding his face in your hands "that thought wasn't stupid. It was bat-shit crazy! I mean, Xavier!" You call out letting another laughing fit take over. He rolls his eyes and pushes you off of him and onto your bed causing another giggling fit to erupt from you. He settles himself over you and gives you a kiss full of passion which you gladly return, he slowly depend the kiss and lowers himself down a tad more to get more comfortable. This time putting YOU into a flustered state. Before anything could go anywhere else Yoko bursts into the dorm followed by Bianca Divina. "Ew Kent could get off of my friend please, feral fish" His twin says while throwing a pillow at him as Bianca takes a picture and yoko makes mocking kissing noises. "Alright alright behave yourselves ladies, and Divina" he says throwing the pillow back at her only 10 times the force. He quickly gives you another peck and sprints out of the room leafing his bag as his twin sets after him with murder on her mind. You and the other two girls just ignore the crazy twins anticts and catch up and share the new found gossip discovered during the lesson.
i might start taking requests to write on here but idk

Mother’s Day
Enjoy ☺️
————
When Omega told their parents they had a surprise for Mother’s Day, none of them knew what to expect. Unpredictability being their children’s specialty, they are just as likely to walk into a screaming match as a dance party. But they trust them. They expect a brunch or party or even a supposedly friendly competition for best mother—undoubtedly leading to a fist fight.
What they don’t expect is home movies in the Manor’s viewing room. The teenagers had stocked up on their mothers favorite snacks and drinks, along with some gifts. The best one, though, is the memories filling the screen.
Two-year-old Jon Kent running around in Superman onesie, a red blanket tied around his neck. Five-year-old Lian headbanging in the kitchen with her parents. Four-year-old Milagro shrieking as Nine-year-old Jaime chases her through sprinklers. Eleven-year-old Damian’s soft look at his baby sister, whose giggles at his scowl, telling Selina that Helena wasn’t afraid of him. Six-year-old Jai and Irey delivering at TED talk about why dessert should be before dinner.
“Alright, who’s next?” Tim asks, with Helena, now five, hanging off his back.
“I am, Uncle Timmy.” Mar’i calls, settling back beside her father, “I sent you the video.”
Omega keeps chattering among themselves, ignoring the looks their parents send their ways. What on earth are these children up to?
Suddenly a warm laugh fills the room. For a second, they think it’s the resident princess, but the voice that follows isn’t hers. “Irt’cla, Bumgorf!”
On the screen, Queen Koriand’r appears on camera. From the bottles and makeup in view, she must have it set up on her vanity. Their breath catches as a little girl flies over. They know those dark curls, mischievous impossible green eyes, and bright smile, a near-perfect miniature of her mother. Their Mar’i, so much younger than they had ever seen, with an odd stuffed doll in her arms.
While they are undeniably speaking Tamaranean, someone had added English subtitles.
“Alright, my Star, how are we doing your hair?”
“Like yours, Mommy.” Little Mar’i looks up, almost questioning if that’s allowed. A gentle hand smoothes a stray curl back.
“I would be honored to match the birthday girl.” Kor’i teases, reaching for a spray bottle, “How old are you today?”
Brow furrowing, Mar’i holds up four tiny fingers. Kor’i gently pulls her thumb free, kissing her head, “Silly Star. You’re five today.”
“Oh….How old is Daddy now?”
Such a simple question shouldn’t feel like a gut punch. Kor’i’s brows furrow, just like her daughter, as she says, “He’d be about 29, almost 30.”
“Is that old for humans?”
There’s that laugh again. God, how long has it been since Dick heard it? Braiding the front section of curls, Kor’i shakes her head, “Hardly, though some think it is.”
“Like Uncle Roy? Or Uncle Wally?”
“They thought that about other people,” Kor’i says, not bothering to hide her smile, “You know Uncle Roy has a little girl, about a year older than you.”
“Lian…would we be friends?”
“Oh Star, you two would save the world or destroy it. Especially if you met Uncle Wally’s children.” A snort from Lian and the twins confirms that.
“Is Daddy like that? With Uncle Roy and Uncle Wally?”
“Oh, absolutely, but he has a very special talent,” Kor’i muses, “He has such a sweet face, no one could believe he was a troublemaker.”
“Like me!” Mar’i says. With a pang, so many notice how she smiles like her father. Kor’i pins part of her hair as she nods, laughing again. “Daddy can’t fly like us, but he a….a…aco-bat.”
“That’s right, Star, an acrobat.” Kor’i gently combs another section, “You have a lot of Daddy questions today, huh?”
Little Mar’i nods. Present day Mar’i rests her head on her father’s shoulder. Kor’i scoops more cream into her hands, smoothing flyaways in the braid, “Remind me what Daddy’s name is?”
“Richard Grayson.” Little Mar’i says it slowly, like the words don’t quite fit in her mouth, “Everyone calls him Dick.”
“That’s right, sweet girl. Dick Grayson is your daddy. So, if we were on earth, your name would be….?”
“Mar’i Grayson.”
Kor’i holds a hand to her heart, pretending to be emotional, “Such a smart star I have. How’d you get that way?”
“K’norfka.” Little Mar’i squeals as her mother tickles her neck. The sweet scene makes their hearts ache. This was Mar’i’s childhood. Granted, she’d told them about the princess lessons and training to control her powers. But she had this too—a mother taking time from ruling to shower her affection, to tease her, to make her feel beautiful and smart and seen.
“If you’re so smart,” Kor’i teases as she stops the tickles, “Can you tell me why Daddy is on Earth?”
Dick tenses in his seat, no doubt scared of the little girl’s answer. The adults all had some vague details, but they all know letting Kor’i go is one of his biggest regrets.
“Because you both didn’t know I was in your belly.” Mar’i chirps, “You kept me and didn’t tell him just yet.”
“Why would I do that?” Kor’i asks, a bit of sadness in her eyes, though she doesn’t let her daughter see.
“Because Daddy spent a long time protecting other people, he didn’t take care of himself.”
“That’s right.” Gently tilting her daughters head up, Kor’i brushes her thumb over Mar’i’s cheek, “I made that choice, baby, not him. He’s figuring things out for himself. But don’t you think for one second you aren’t wanted or loved.”
“I know. You and K’norfka tell me all the time.”
“Love isn’t just words. It’s action. If someone says they love you, but their actions always hurt, that’s not love.” Kor’i says, twisting her daughters hair up, “When you find people who show you their love, you hold on tight. Okay?”
“Yes, ma’am.”
“Alright.” Kor’i has her stand in the chair, hugging her from behind. “All done, my Shining Star. Ready for our power words?”
Even at five years old, Mar’i straightens up, looking at her reflection. “Ready.”
“I am Mar’i.”
“I am Mar’i.”
Kor’i smiles with pride as Mar’i repeats her. “I come from warriors, their strength and bravery is in me. I am allowed to take up space and use my voice. I have a clever mind and kind heart. I deserve love for who I am, not what I can do. I am enough for the people that matter.”
Several throats close, tears rolling down faces. Dick squeezes his daughter’s hand. She should be crying, but she just smiles softly at the screen. How many times has she watched this video? Or repeated those words to herself?
“Oh! I forgot one!” Kor’i’s eyes twinkle with mischief as Mar’i frowns. Then the little girl shrieks with laughter as she’s attacked with tickles and kisses, “You are trouble, trouble, trouble!”
Mar’i wiggles free from her mother’s grasp. As she flies off screen, still giggling, Kor’i reaches for the screen. Softly, like she’s mostly talking to herself, Kor’i says, “Oh, my Silly Star. I named you perfectly.”
The video ends, Kor’i’s smiling face frozen on the screen. It’s quiet for a moment. Then Lian’s voice rings out, “Omega, all in favor of previewing Mar’i’s shit moving forward?”
“Aye.” Comes from the other six members, including Mar’i’s boyfriend.
“Motion passed—“
“On what grounds!” Mar’i scoffs. Lian gives her friend an incredulous look.
“You should be crying your eyes out. Yet you’re not. So you obviously watched this video multiple times in preparation. Like the sadist you are.”
“Mmmm in this context wouldn’t masochist—“
“Knowing you? You’re both, princess. But,” Lian gestures to the screen, “Not hard to see where you get the confidence from.”
“That’s still not grounds to pass a vote—“
“Get one person to agree with you, we will drop the vote.”
A wicked grin spreads across Mar’i’s face, “Oh, Jonny—“
Omega whips around at the youngest Super. Pointing a finger at him, looking eerily like her mother, Irey hisses, “Jonathan, If you can’t be strong, be silent.”
Normally Jon would not respond. However the look he gets reminds them of who’s son he is. Leaning forward in his chair, he says, “You wanna check that tone, Iris?”
“You wanna check these hands—“
“Easy, sweetheart,” Linda puts a hand on her daughters shoulder, “Let’s get one day without a fist fight.”
“Or heat vision.” Lois agrees, shooting her son a look.
“Really any explosions, fires, fighting, random stabbing,” Bianca nods. Her children had, smartly, stayed quiet.
“Or pickpocketing, Helena Claire.” Selina calls. Huffing, the little girl starts handing her brothers their stuff back. “Now! Who’s next?”

Saturday lunch
Scene 1: The Kents Arrive
Exterior of Oak's house – Noon
Clark, Lois, Jonathan, and Jordan pull up in their car to Oak’s cozy suburban home. Lucy greets them at the door with a warm smile.
Clark: “Lucy, it’s always good to see you.”
Lucy: (smiling) “You too, Clark. It’s been a while.”
Jonathan and Jordan exchange glances, visibly confused.
Jonathan: (whispering to Jordan) “She looks exactly like Mom…”
Jordan: (nervously) “Uh… yeah. What’s going on?”
Clark notices their reaction and gives them a reassuring pat on the shoulder.
Clark: “It’s a long story. She is... Ya same thing with Jon Henry different story for another day let's just get in and have fun with them plus she is very nice”
Scene 2: Meeting the Girls
Living Room – Oak’s house
Oak steps forward, welcoming everyone with a smile. Lois exchanges a knowing look with Lucy, remembering their first meeting in Brook Town. Lana peeks out nervously from behind Lucy, clinging to her arm.
Oak: “Welcome, everyone. Boys, I’d like you to meet my family.”
Lois: (nudging Jonathan and Jordan) “It’s okay. They don’t bite.”
Diana, Donna, Nina, and Deborah enter, greeting the Kent boys cheerfully. They’re already friends from school, breaking the ice quickly. Lana, however, stays behind Lucy, eyeing the boys nervously.
Jonathan: (to Diana) “So, you’re the horse enthusiast, right? I think my mom mentioned it. Plus I saw you flying at our farm a couple of months ago”
Diana: (grinning) “That’s me. And yes that was me my dad did a suprise for me love seeing spirit he is incredible.”
Meanwhile, Jordan notices Lana’s shyness and tries to give her a friendly smile, but she hides further behind Lucy.
Jordan: (whispering to Jonathan) “I think I scared her…”
Lucy gently pats Lana’s shoulder.
Lucy: “Don’t worry, Lana. They’re nice boys. You’ll see. Go say hi”
Lana still couldn't go
Lana: "nope, not yet I am staying right behind you"
Lucy: "sigh, fine but soon you will have to"
Scene 3: Lunch Begins
Dining Room
The table is filled with delicious food Lucy prepared earlier. Everyone takes their seats, the chatter growing lively. Just as they’re about to start eating, Oak notices a small bug behind Diana’s chair.
Oak: (raising a hand) “Wait. Diana, don’t move.”
Diana: (nervously) “What? Why?”
Oak: “Lucy, handle this.”
Lucy quickly grabs a napkin and deals with the bug while everyone laughs.
Lucy: "gosh, you both need to start to learn to hunt them" teasing oak and Diana and Loughing with everyone
Clark: (grinning) “Oak, you haven’t changed one bit. Still terrified of bugs, huh?”
Oak: (sheepishly) “I deal with monsters, Clark. Bugs are… different.”
The laughter lightens the mood, and everyone enjoys the food.
Scene 4: Post-Lunch Tea and Coffee
Living Room
After the meal, they move to the living room for tea and coffee. Oak opts for his favorite tea, while Lois chats with Lucy about the boys’ reactions.
Lois: “So, how did it go? Did the boys handle seeing the two of us in the same room?”
Lucy: (chuckling) “They were stunned, of course. Just like Clark was when he met me. They are still looking aren't they?”
Lois looked at the boys and they are still looking
Lois: "oh yep they are"
Clark nods knowingly.
Clark: “I still remember the day Oak introduced us. Took me a while to process it.”
Lois: "did it? Had the same thing just slightly had the unknowning I got a twin sister I never met"
Clark: "wasn't my fault oak wanted this to happen slowly and I respect that"
Lucy: "well that is a nice way to do it oak hates to do stuff fast but in battles he is fast"
Clark: "now good to know I have compatation, will be fun"
Oak: "no, nope no compatation Clark you know me I hate it"
Clark: "fine but if you want we can someday"
The conversation turns lighthearted as they share stories about the boys and life in Brook Town.
Scene 5: The Kents Depart
Exterior of Oak's house – Late Afternoon
The Kents prepare to leave. Jonathan and Jordan wave goodbye to the girls, now feeling more comfortable around them.
Jonathan: “Thanks for the lunch, Mr. Oak. And, uh, Diana, we’ll definitely keep seeing you in the stables!”
Diana: (smiling) “Looking forward to it.”
Clark and Lois exchange goodbyes with Oak and Lucy, and the Kents drive off.
Scene 6: A Quiet Evening
Living Room – Oak’s house
Oak and Lucy settle on the couch with glasses of wine, the house now quiet after the lively gathering.
Lucy: “That went well, didn’t it?”
Oak: (sipping his wine) “It did. I’m glad the boys handled everything fine. And Diana seemed to enjoy herself.”
They share a moment of quiet contentment, the warm glow of the fireplace reflecting their bond as they finish the day.
End.
So dinner with the Kent was fun seeing ya on the next.

Derek Hale X Reader (Gender-Neutral)
Request - Can I request a Derek Hale X reader (gender-neutral or male pls) I have an idea if you want to use it. Maybe the reader and Derek live together, the reader is a teacher and comes home after a tiring day and they cuddle (reader little spoon maybe)
I just want fluff with Derek Hale 😔
Tumblr media
Derek called you and you picked up on the third ring. He already can tell that you're stressed out
“Rough day?” Derek asked.
“Rough week. I will be home in an hour, I'm just grading papers” You said.
“Do you want me to pick you up?” Derek asked.
“No. Remember I got the car and you have your motorcycle,” You said.
“Okay, text me when you're coming home,” Derek said
“Sure, babe,” You said.
You hang up the phone. Derek puts on his leather jacket and he left the house on his motorcycle. He went to buy your favorite food, he isn't much of a cook but he wants to help you feel stress-free. An hour later you send him a text and you drive home, you are glad is Friday and you just want to lie in your bed.
You open the door and you're happy to see him. He wrapped his arms around and kissed your head. He doesn't let go of you
“Glad to be home,” You said.
“I’m happy you're home. I got us dinner” Derek said.
“That explains the red stain on your tank top,” You said.
You stare into his eyes and he kissed you.
“Yeah, and it's pasta sauce” Derek smiled.
“What did you get,” You said.
“Your favorite food and dessert,” Derek said.
“Awesome,” You said.
“Go take a shower then we will eat,” Derek said.
“Okay,” You said.
He gave you a peck on the lips and you went to take a hot shower. Derek sets up the table and the drinks, you walk into the kitchen and you see Derek taking his tank top off, and you stare at his abs and he puts on a new shirt.
“Enjoying the show?” Derek teased.
“I’m definitely enjoying the show” You smiled.
You and Derek sit down and start to eat. Derek listens to you talk about your day and why you have been stressed out.
✯ ✬ ✯ ✬
After dinner, you and Derek cuddle on the couch and watch tv.
“Wow, I didn't notice it before but you look like him,” You said.
“I don't look like him,” Derek said.
“Yes, you do. Once you put on the glasses then you will become his twin” You said.
Derek rolled his eyes at you. You and Derek are watching Superman & Lois, he isn't convinced that he looks like Clark Kent.
“Y/n, I still don't see it,” Derek said.
You and Derek laughed.
“Eventually you will agree with me” You smiled.
“Well, you're going to wait forever” Derek smiled.
He gave you a peck on the lips. After watching tv, you and Derek go to bed. Derek is the big spoon and he kissed your shoulder. You and Derek talked a little more than fell asleep.
The next day, you and Derek are still in bed. His hand lies on your stomach under your shirt. You don't want to do anything right now
“I want to stay like this,” You said.
“We could stay like this” Derek said.
Later, you lie your head on his chest and he starts to talk about what is going on with him.

Chapter One
‘Am I In GF?’
Tumblr media
Memory loss is one way of coping with damage
-Jeannette Winterson
No one can ever be prepared for life. Sure some have it all planned out. Go to college, get a good job, find love and have a beautiful family. But then come bills, debt, divorce and custody battles. Others let life choose its curse for them and become happy with whatever they have.
When Kal-El fell to Earth that sunny day, no one knew what he was going to be. Then he became Superman, the world's hero. He fell in love with Lois Lane and had two beautiful twin boys, Jonathan Kent and Jordan Kent.
Yet even the Man of Steel couldn't have everything figured out. While he and Jon had a beautiful Father-son relationship, Clark and Jordan struggled to even have a conversation without Lois or his therapist involved.
Now his boys know about his alter-ego, Superman, the world's greatest hero. They know about all the lies he and Lois told them, the excuses of working late or following a dead end story now revealed.
He felt like the bonds with his sons began to weaken more now that they knew of his secret life.
He closed his eyes, sitting on the porch of the home he loved so much. The home his mother and father made him feel like a human even when times he didn't. It felt as if Martha and Jonathan Snr. were standing behind him telling him everything was going to be okay.
"Clark!" Lois shouted, running out from the kitchen. He looked at his wife, who was staring at the sky. Clark looked up, noticing from the corner of his eyes that his sons had followed their mother.
A black and white hole had appeared a couple of feet from above the home, circling in a counter-clockwise motion. The small family noticed a bright light burst from the middle, a person falling from the light. Clark quickly took off into the air, his glasses falling to the wooden floor.
Clark caught the person, a young girl. She looked the same age as his boys. Her hair was a light-ish brown and her skin was sickly plain. She wore a black jumper with a bat on it, black leggings and Flash inspired shoes. She had a septum piercing and a key necklace.
As he landed, Lois ran towards him worried about who or what had fallen from the now gone portal. She noticed the teen girl in her husband's arms. She looked at him with wide eyes. "Bring her inside" Lois demanded, seeing blood drip from the girl's finger.
<><><>
It had been a short while since the mysterious girl had fallen from the sky, Lois and Clark bring her into the guest room with a first aid kit while the three Kent boys waited patiently downstairs.
Lois had taken the girl's jumper off, shocked at the cuts and bruises on her arms and shoulders. She tended to them, applying bandages to the deeper cuts. The girl stirred in her unconscious state.
"Jon... Jon" she muttered softly, sounding quite scared. Lois stopped her previous task, carefully watching the girl. "No...don't... don't!" the girl gasped before opening her eyes wide. She took a moment before taking a breath, sitting up from the guest bed.
"Am I in GF?" She said in a strong Irish accent. Looking around with icy blue eyes, the girl's gaze landed on Lois. "Bitise?" The girl gasped, staring at the reporter in shock. "Sweetie, my name's Lois. Lois Lane" Lois corrected her.
The girl's eyes widened even more, if that was even possible. "L..Lo..Lois Lane?" The girl stuttered in utter shock, a hand going to her forehead. "Did Adam accidentally give me hash again?" She muttered to herself.
Lois came closer to the girl, placing a hand on her leg. "I'm assuming you're not from here?" Lois stated the obvious. The girl looked at her, trying to keep calm. "Depends, is it common knowledge that Clark Kent is Superman?" The girl asked, fearing she already knew the answer to that one.
The brunette sat on the couch, surrounded by the Kent family, or well a version of the family. Clark and Lois stood tall in front of her while the twins stood to the side. "What's your name?" Clark asked gently, even though his face and body said otherwise.
"Emma. Emma Ní Chroídheán" the girl answered, twiddling with her thumbs. "And you're from a world where we're fictional characters?" Clark asked again, trying to understand what Emma had told him and Lois. "Yeah, that includes Flash, Kara, Kate, The Legends and basically every city where anytype of hero lives in or fights crime in" Emma explained plainly through her accent, sounding quite bored.
"Do you know how you got here?" Lois asked her, her motherly side showing. Emma shook her head. "Last thing I remember was arguing with some girl who tried to kiss my cousin while he was holding his boyfriend's hand. Stupid bitch'' Emma explained, quite agitated by this girl she was on about. Lois and Clark only nodded, understanding only the basic words she was saying.
"So not about the giant fucking wormhole you fell out of!" Jon exclaimed, looking at Emma in disbelief. "Why? Gotta problem ya blondie fean" Emma shot at him, glaring at the twin. She always thought he was a little shit when the promo posters came out with that stupid gold chain.
Jordan snickered at his brother's expression at Emma's weird insult. His parents looked at each other, in shock that Jordan was laughing so freely. "Look, I dunno how I got to Smallville, Kansas but what I do know is that I shouldn't be here nor do I 'member anythin'" Emma defended herself, crossing her arms.
Clark took out his phone, scrolling through his contacts. He landed on J, dialing the first number. "Who ya ringing?" Emma asked him, curiosity peaking in her mind.
<><><>
When J'onn J'onzz walked into the Kent home, Emma and the Kent twins felt as if their hearts were going to explode. Emma felt as if she was gonna wake up from this glorious dream. Clark cleared his throat, seeing the three fifteen year olds' shocked faces.
"Boys, Emma this is J'o-"
"J'onn J'onzz, Martian Manhunter! Literally the coolest shapeshifter in existence!" Emma interrupted Clark, her voice raising a couple octaves. Jordan found the little rant kinda cute as Emma's eyes lit up with pure joy. J'onn gave out a bashful laugh at the young girl. "You seem to know alot about heroes, Emma" He commented, making the girl blush. Emma let out a nervous laugh, twiddling with her thumbs as she mumbled an incoherent sentence.
"Boys, can we have the room for a moment?" Lois asked politely, smiling at her sons. The twins knew what their mother meant and quickly said their short farewells to the hero before leaving the kitchen to eavesdrop on the conversation about to unfold.
J'onn smiled at Emma brightly, pulling a seat out for her. "I assume you know how this goes?" J'onn asked, reaching for the bucket Lois pult out from under the sink. Emma nodded before closing her eyes. J'onn lifted his pointer and middle fingers to Emma's temples, his eyes glowing red as he used his powers.
He looked into Emma's mind, trying to find her last memory before she came here. It was like a broken record, skipping tracks or in this case memories. He could barely make out what he was seeing. One moment she was in a large field surrounded by other teens the next she was wacking four or five boys with a deformed baseball bat.
Emma's coughing brought him out of the trance. The girl was coughing up sick and blood in the bucket. Lois rushed to her side, rubbing her bak in circles whilst Clark filled up a glass of water and handed it to her with some tissue. "Nice one" Emma thanked him, taking a gulp of water.
Emma seemed to become more pale from throwing up, her eyes looked as if they were glowing. "Can I go get some fresh air? My head is spinning" Emma groaned, rubbing her temples.
Clark and Lois nodded. "Of course, take the boys with you" as if on cue the twins appeared from around the corner of the hallway. Clark raised an eyebrow at his boys who only shrugged it off.
Once the three teens were out of sight, J'onn let out an exasperated sigh. "Her mind, it's broken" He managed to say, sitting down on a chair. "What did you see J'onn?" Clark asked his friend.
"Fragments of memories, but no answer to how she arrived in our world or this portal you mentioned" J'onn told the couple, a soft pang in his heart. The poor girl didn't know what had happened to the people she loved. "Is there anything you can tell us?" Lois asked him.
"She's scared. She has no idea what is really happening to her. But there was something... something igniting in her" J'onn recalled the small blue-ish purple flame he saw. "Something bad?" Clark asked. J'onn shook his head, "No, but I feel as if this young girl has no idea that she may be more than a human"
"If you ever need me, I'm a call away. That includes Ms Danvers" J'onn handed her a folded piece of paper. "Thanks J'onn, It was really nice to meet you, like I've always wanted to meet you" Emma smiled at him before he reverted to his martian form. The twins ran up next to Emma, watching the martian fly away from the farm. "That was cool, right?" Jordan commented from Emma's right. "Class" Emma smiled, watching the man fly away.
<><><>
The boys had gone to the Schuster Mines to meet up with Sarah at the bonfire party. Emma sat in the kitchen, Lois and Clark sitting in front of her. "So what happens now?" Emma asked the couple, nervous under Lois' gaze.
The pair looked at each other before Clark cleared his throat. "First we are going to have some documents written up for you to legally stay in America" Lois started off, fidgeting with her wedding band. "You mean Winn or Cisco are gonna forge papers" Emma corrected, smirking at Lois.
She let out a small laugh, smiling at Emma. "You really do know your stuff" Lois commented. "Coping mechanisms are awesome" Emma joked, causing concern within the couple. "Anyways, until we find out exactly what happened to you, you'll be staying here with us" Clark told her, smiling like Lois.
Emma looked at them, shocked at Clark's words. "Are you serious?" Emma asked them. "Yes, we want to help you and figure out how and why you got sent here off all places" Lois told Emma who was beaming with utter joy.
Clark found her expression quite amusing, maybe it was the fact she got Jordan to smile but he felt thankful for her presence in the house. He noticed that Sam's ELT had begun beeping.
'It's another nuclear facility' Sam's voice spoke knowing Clark would be listening. Lois also seemed to know. "It's Sam, right?" Emma asked him, her tone a bit sour. Clark sighed, nodding at Emma's question. "Hey" Lois cooed, taking his hand in hers. "We're gonna be alright, okay? Go" Lois reassured him before he left the room in a gust of wind.
Emma was slightly dazed from his sudden exit, causing Lois to smile. "Come on, I'm sure I have a few old clothes that will fit you" Lois told Emma, getting her to follow her upstairs. "Why are you two being so nice to me?" Emma asked Lois, following her around the corner of Jon's room. Lois turned to Emma, hand resting on the doorframe of her and Clark's shared bedroom. "Because you're a scared teenage girl who has miraculously appeared in a new world. I doubt being a bitch would end well?" Lois raised her eyebrow.
"Fair point, but I'm a literal stranger who fell outside your front door" Emma fought back. She always said she'd love to get in a debate with Lois Lane back home. "If Martha and Jonathan thought that about Clark he would have never become Superman" Lois shot back, turning to find the clothes she was on about.
"True, he would actually end the world in a different earth" Emma recalled, Conner wouldn't shut his mouth about it for a month. Lois looked at her with wide eyes. Emma shrugged, mumbling a quick "Comics are weird" before Lois dumped a few clothes in her arms.
"Okay. Go try these on while I'll try find the rest" Lois brushed off, ushering Emma to the guest room. Emma rolled her eyes before walking away from the woman.
Emma felt a weird tingle in her hands. 'Stupid carpal tunnel' Emma thought before both her hands started to shake viloenly. Her head began to pound before her veins turned an electric blue.
She fell to the ground with a very loud thud gaining Lois's attention almost immediately. Lois ran to Emma, noticing her glowing veins. Turning her onto her back, Lois gasped. Emma's eyes glowed the same blue as her veins. It took only a few seconds before Emma shot up from the floor gasping for breath.
"Jordan... Jordan's gonna blow up the bonfire" Emma gasped, confused about what just happened. "How the hell could you know that?" Lois asked her, just as confused. "I saw it" Emma whispered.
<><><>
"Holy shit, I was right!"
"She was right!"
Both Lois and Emma exclaimed when Clark and the boys told them what happened at the bonfire.
"What are you talking about??" Jordan asked his mother and the Irish girl. "Shit! Nana's gonna bathe me in holy water again" Emma silently freaked out, forgetting that no one else in the room was brought up by an Irish Catholic family. Clark looked at the girl very concerned. "Emma? You okay?" He asked her. Emma looked at him, murder in her eyes. "When you tell your very religious Irish Catholic grandmother you tell her that I might have a girlfriend or boyfriend it can lead to a small bit of trauma" Emma answered, dead serious with her words.
Lois patted her back gently before answering Jordan's prior question. "Emma somehow had a vision of Jordan blowing up the bonfire" Lois explained to the boys. Clark looked at her in surprise. "You're a psychic?" Jon asked her. "Just because Nana predicted fucking England winning that cup one time! Everyone thinks your fucking psychic" Emma muttered, rolling her eyes. "I have no idea how I even did that glow-y thing" Emma explained to the family, pissed off at the world.
"Okay, first language" Clark started scolding Emma. "Second, you two are getting tested" Clark pointed at Emma and Jordan. Emma started waving her hands. "Fortress?" Emma asked, praying he wouldn't say hospital.
"You really do know your stuff" Clark complimented her. "Why do you know all this stuff?" Jon asked Emma. "Trauma plus having no friends equals escapism. Superheroes kinda land in top place" Emma smiled painfully.
The brothers looked at Emma concerned while their parents did the same behind her. "I think it's getting late. Time for bed you three" Clark forced out in a cheery tone. Emma hummed in agreement.
"Thanks for everythin'" Emma smiled at the reporters before going upstairs behind the boys.
<><><>
Jordan couldn't sleep. He tostled in his bed, shifting under the covers every so often. Clark had flown off to some emergency and Lois and Jon were asleep so there was no one to talk to really.
Emma?
No, that was a bad idea. Why would he spill his feelings to a girl who showed up on the front lawn less than twelve hours ago. He needed something to drink, that would calm him down for sure.
He reached the bottom of the stairs when he felt a cold breeze on his bare feet. "Weird?" He muttered before hearing a sobbing sound. Jordan looked around the hallway, noticing the front door was wide open.
Jordan went outside to see Emma sitting on the porch steps crying into her arms. "Emma?" Jordan called softly from behind her. Emma turned her head quickly, wiping her tears with her arm. "I'm fine, go back inside" Emma cracked, faking a smile at Jordan.
Jordan plopped down beside her. "Look, I know we only met but you can tell me if somethings wrong" Jordan sighed, looking at Emma. She had a lot of freckles on her face that lit up with the starlight. She looked cute. "I... just miss home. I mean I'm grateful that your parents are taking me in, it's just surreal" Emma admitted to Jordan. "Never in my entire life did I ever believe I'd meet Lois Lane never mind your Dad and now I'm staying in the same house as both of them and I'm supposed to be calm" Emma half-lied to the Kent.
Jordan raised his eyebrow at her, making Emma laugh weakly. "I doubt that's why you're crying" Jordan pointed out nudging Emma gently. "Fair... I just can't bare the silence. Usually I hear my brothers or cousins fighting in the middle of the night over something stupid, or my little sister is climbing into my bed because she afraid of the dark" Emma explained to Jordan, a pang in her heart when she mentioned her family.
She knew deep down this wasn't ending well for her.
Jordan placed a hand on Emma's shoulder. "I get it. I'm not used to the silence either. There's no late night traffic in Smallville or traffic at all really" Jordan compromised, making Emma laugh. Emma started to shiver, the cold breeze blowing over the farm. "I never thought Kansas could be cold" Emma muttered with a dark glare. "Here" Jordan said, taking off his hoodie and giving it to her. Emma's cheeks were red, Jordan assumed it was from the cold. "Oh...Thanks" Emma mumbled taken back by his gel steer as she put on the hoodie carefully.
"So? You kissed Sarah Cushing" Emma stated, a smirk on her face. Jordan groaned, his head falling back. "Don't remind me" He groaned as Emma laughed at him. "How's your face? I've been in a few scraps but never healed that quick" Emma noticed. "Must be an alien thing I guess" Jordan slumped. "You know me and my cousin threw a gardaí motorbike in the bonfire a few weeks back. Doesn't match laser eye explosion but got some chase of them when they found out" Emma told Jordan, nudging his side. Oh, she loved messing with the gardaí.
Jordan only smiled at her shaking his head. Even though he could barely understand her, he found a sense of comfort in her words. There was something about Emma that made Jordan feel different. He couldn't explain it but she had this vibe that made him feel... confident in a way. He had barely met her and she already had this affect on him.
"Thanks Em, I needed that" Jordan slipped out, making her blush harshly. "No one has ever called me 'Em' before. May family wanted to be out of the box with them" Emma thought. It was a common one but they Jordan said it was different. Jordan shrugged at her, "Well the only nickname I got were from bullies so I doubt its gonna be hard to find a good one". " Jord" Emma suggested knowing that Jor was too weird if she was planning to mock Jor-El's A.I.
"Jord and Em it is" Jordan declared in a faux British accent. Emma snickered at him, gently pushing Jordan to the side. "Oh my Rao you are just... something else" Emma commented while trying to hold her laughter.
Little did they know Clark had landed on the other side of the home, smiling brightly. Maybe staying in Smallville would be the best for his boys.

Reunion
I was currently getting ready for a reunion at Francios Dupont, my fiancé is currently trying to get our children dressed, oh right you don't know yet, let me explain
-------------------------------------------------------
I had defeated hawkmoth with dragon, viper, princess honey, chat noir, and lastly bunix, after the defeat we revealed our identities to each other, jagged had adopted us after finding out that my parents had abused me and that Adrien's father was hawkmoth and had isolated Adrien from the outside world other than school, Lukas mother had kicked him out because Julica told her that he was helping a bully and is being one so jagged took full custody of him, when he had adopted Adrien and I we were.... let's say complicated, I didn't like being locked in a room for too long, and hands or voices being raised at me because of the bullying and the abuse, while Adrien didn't like being stuck in a room locked or a house alone, they didn't know till it happened(ill make small one-shots for how they figured it out later) they tried to not do those things just in case, once fagged found out about the bullying and they found out about a couple of scars from the class, jagged moved us to Gotham and we transferred to Gotham high, Adrien and luka had made the sister protection squad aka SPS, after about two weeks of school I had made friends with Damien Wayne the ice prince of Gotham and John Kent, we were unsure about them until a month after, about five months after Damien asked me out on a date and to be his girlfriend and i said yes, then about two weeks later Adrien and John got together and yes they know what had happened to us in Paris, and we know each other's identities, after being together for a year Damien and I had our children twins named Amira and Lilian, about four months after Damien proposed to me, Adrien and Jon where already married and had adopted a meta human child, his name is Dax, Luka and Kagami are also married, Chloe is engaged to Tim, Alix met a girl with white hair down to her shoulders, blue left eye, hazel left eye, loves black clothes, her name is Wendy, Shes very nice, they are currently girlfriends soon more, I still have a problem with hands raised at me but I try my best to block it out when I'm ladybird, now let's continue shall we?
-------------------------------------------------------
I was currently wondering if I should change out of the dress I'm currently wearing a red that fades to black dress that goes down to my feet, with off the shoulder sleeves, you can see some parts of my scars, I heard my door click open so I turned around to see Damien there, "angel you look gorgeous" "really I don't look ugly in this dress" Damien walks over to me and kisses me "Angel you're not ugly, your beautiful" "but my scars..." "show that you went through something bad and out came it" he said then kissed my dimples "also I had found out that Adrien, Jon, Chloe and Tim will be coming, Alix said that they won't be with us today" "will she be-" proposing, yes she is" I smile "They're going to finally make it official" Damien just chuckled and we had set off to my old school with Amira and Lilian, about ten minutes later we reached toe school, and I was nervous, my whole French class will be hear, the worst bullies I have ever had with Lila at the top, I had squeezed Damien's hand for comfort and he squeezed it back just as tight to reassure me, we had started walking in after and saw Adrien, Jon, Chloe, and Tim in the corner, we had decided to go join them after about twenty-thirty minutes I had went to go find myself a drink, when two people I knew all too well came to me "Oh Marinette, why are you hear you aren't apart of this class anymore*Gasps*are you hear to bully me again I'm so sorry if I did something to you" "Mari-slut how could you come here just to bully sweet Lila, you're a monster" about to smack her but someone grabbed her arm, I look over and see Damien glaring at her "TT, what do you think you're doing you my wife you harlots" I then see the twins run up to me saying "Mama" "mom!" I hug the two and look up to see Damien looking at them along with Tim, Jon, and Chloe, Adrien came to me to calm me down and check for any injuries on me, "TT, Tim starts the plan, were going to leave afterward" Tim had nodded and went up to the podium, I was confused, there was a plan? " Everyone can I have your attention please!" everyone stopped talking and look at him "please turn you direction to the screen please" everyone looked at the screen and a video started playing.
Everyone was shocked and horrified to learn this, police officers had come in and is currently escorting Lila to the car, while Damien and her friend and family left the scene.

scenario: you start seeing Jon which leads to the two of you having to hide it from your family and especially Damian.
pairing: jon kent ( superboy ) x fem! reader
note: not checked for grammar or spelling mistakes / can you tell my kent family hyperfixation hasn't left yet? i swear it's becoming an issue lmaooo but this might actually be the longest fic i've written for this blog.
Tumblr media
you talked with your friends who you had snuck into the gala with. Rachel had begrudgingly agreed to come to meanwhile Cass and Steph were the only other ones who agreed to come on their own accord.
"Damian, your only friend is here," Dick said, earning a kick from his younger brother before getting up and leaving you and Raven alone. you knew it was a rare occasion that she even decided to show up so you didn't want to leave her alone. "we probably won't see my brother for the rest of the night. whenever his friend comes, it's like everyone becomes a background character. for him being my adopted 'twin' brother, I have yet to meet this friend."
Raven laughed as you saw the wine that the couple on the dance left on your table drunkenly. the bottle was little more than half-filled and you gave one quick look to Raven before pouring the wine into both of your glasses and discarding it right away.
"to not having fun for the rest of the night," you giggled as the two of you chugged the wine down in a mere few seconds, "drier than I thought it would be but it beats having to pay for it," Raven muttered as you agreed to sneak another bottle from the bartender so you wouldn't have to pay for it. even with your dad paying for all your necessities, the drinks at his galas were far too expensive for you to even willingly pay for them yourself. the only reason why he even paid for all your expenses was because you agreed to skip out on college to help run some parts of Wayne Enterprises with your brother.
another reason why you couldn't exactly go and pay for it yourself was because Bruce was not one to exactly be chippy at the idea of you getting plastered drunk at one of his public galas. "I got one of two ideas. one: I'll go flirt with the bartender and you can sneak behind him and get the other bottle or two: I can flirt with the bartender for enough time to see if he'll just willingly give it to us," you told Raven as she nodded with option two.
the bartender happened to be in his younger 50s. you recognized him from previous WE events and although he was familiar with your family, you doubted that he would say anything to your dad about you flirting him with. all you had to do was push the top of the dress down a bit and hike up the bottom to get his attention.
"hey Martin," you said, leaning up against the bar table and smiling, "enjoying the night?" you asked as you saw him flinch back in surprise. he nodded, trying to divert his eyes from looking at you in anyway you could have felt to be disrespectful.
"I was thinking, how much does the bottle of Lafite Rothschild go for?" you asked, giving him a pouty face. he gulped nervously, "almost ten grand ma'am," he replied, grabbing it from the wine stand, "even for me? I mean, my dad must've paid for it so does it even go for that much considering I am his child?" he asked.
you could tell that you had caught him in a predicament, "I would assume not, I assume you're twenty one, right?" he murmured, handing you the precious bottle. you smiled (a fake one that anyone could see through) and nodded before giving the old man a light kiss on the cheek, "thanks Martin, I appreciate it," you said, giving him a wave before leaving.
Raven perked up seeing the bottle in your hand, "snagged a ten thousand dollar bottle," you said excitedly as you waved it in your hand. Raven stared at you in shock, "you got a ten thousand dollar bottle in less than five minutes?" she exclaimed.
you giggled before whispering in her ear, "the benefits of being a child of Bruce Wayne is that you can practically get away with anything. especially when you're the daughter." you popped open the bottle as you handed her the wine glass and poured the drink with care. you gave her a slight cheers before taking a small sip and being pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as dry for a wine with a huge amount of alcohol percentage.
as the night progressed, you and Raven got actively more drunk. you hadn't realized how hard the wine had hit you until Raven was drunkenly getting pulled home by Gar as you sat at the table with a little less than the bottle still full. you hadn't seen your dad or brother all night and you figured they must've been pulled into doing Batfamily work at some point and left you alone with Steph or Cass. hell, maybe even Dick if he was still around.
you weren't actively apart of the vigilante work all of your siblings did but you did help them out with the technical parts of it when Tim wasn't available. you didn't really like fighting or risking your life so after you graduated, you interned at Wayne Enterprises under Tim's orders while Damian worked under your dad.
at the age of twenty-one, you still hadn't met most of the league for the exception of Wonder Woman and The Flash. the rest were strangers in your head and much to Damian's luck, he wanted to keep it that way. at least in his case with Jon.
"ow, I am so sorry," you slurred as you managed to hit someone on the shoulder. he chuckled seeing as how you were not attempting to get up, "you okay there ma'am?" the man with a southern accent asked. you giggled as you attempted to get up, "I'm ( your name ) and you are?" you asked.
"Jon Kent, pleasure to meet you," he said, kissing your hand. you blushed as you heard one of your favorite songs come through the speakers, "would you like to dance?" you asked, not even caring that you had met this just a few mere seconds ago. he nodded, figuring that since Damian left him stranded at the gala, he had nothing to lose.
the song 'telepatia' by Kali Uchis played throughout the ballroom. Jon immediately took the reigns as the lead as the lights got dimmer and you danced against Jon sensually. "what got you dragged here?" you asked Jon. "my best friend invited me as his plus one. you?" he whispered in your ear, "I work for the company so I kind of had to attend," you managed to say before turning around and facing him.
you looked at Jon with drunken yet loving eyes, "you're handsome, you know that?" you said with no hesitation in your face. Jon laughed, placing his hand on your cheek, "right back at ya, darlin'," he replied as the song switched to another one of your favorite songs.
side to side by ariana grande started.
you shrugged, feeling as though you had nothing to lose and got up on your toes gave Jon a kiss on his lips. he was slightly taken back but played it off by returning it. the two of you remained kissing through the entirety of the song until Jon felt a familiar tap on his shoulder.
"I gotta go but if you're up for it, I'd love for ya to give me your number," you nodded excitedly as you practically snatched his phone from his hand and typed it in as quickly as possible with your name having a hundred emoji's next to it, "text me in the morning!" you screamed.
Jon laughed before following Damian from behind, "you suck, you know that!" Jon exclaimed, "I meet one girl I actually like and you drag me away!" Damian rolled his eyes, "please, you act like there isn't more girls out there to hit on." this time, it was Jon's turn to roll his eyes, "I got her number so I guess that's a plus."
you woke up the next morning with a pounding headache but to a few messages on your phone. you smiled realizing that it was the boy you had met the night before.
"good morning...or actually good afternoon!"
Jon laughed from his side of the phone.
"good afternoon darlin'. I hope you had a good sleep."
you were texting your way down the stairs, greeting Alfred and Bruce before grabbing a plate of lunch and sitting down on the bar top. "what time you'd make it home?" Bruce asked, sensing the hangover you had. "a bit past midnight. drank a bottle of Lafite with Raven before dancing with a boy you invited," you said honestly.
Bruce felt himself go stiff at the admittance of you drinking the Lafite bottle but remained silent as Alfred placed Advil and one of your Gatorades next to you. "yeah, whoever must've danced with you last night must've been drunk too because you'd want to dance with you?" Damian said coming down the stairs.
you threw him a fork, Damian dodging it with ease, "I'd shut up if I were you. I'm actually getting coffee with the guy in like an hour," you replied, chugging down the rest of the food before getting up and going to your room, "yeah and I pray for the man who now has to deal with you," Damian screamed loud enough for you to hear.
you pulled on a skirt and tights before slipping on a sweater and fixing your hair and quickly doing your makeup. you grabbed the keys from your bag and took the back entrance to get to your car. one of the benefits of getting paid so much was that you were able to afford cars that were out of price range for a lot of people your age.
the coffee shop you decided to meet Jon at was a few blocks into the heart of central Gotham. you got a table farthest from the crowd as you didn't want any attention on you and your potential boyfriend. you saw Jon approaching at the front of the coffee shop and pulled on your sunglasses so no one outside could see who you were.
"nice to meet you, this time with me not being drunk," you told Jon, giving him a friendly kiss on the cheek, "pleasure is all mine sweetheart," he replied, putting his arm around your shoulder. you got up to the front of cashier and scanned the menu.
"I'd like a venti mocha with oatmilk, what about you?" you asked Jon as he scanned the menu nervously before muttering that he hardly orders coffee. you smiled, "and an order of a grande peppermint hot chocolate," you added on as you took your card out, Jon's eyes widening at the black American Express card.
"wow, Wayne Enterprises must pay you really well," he exasperated, "yeah, I guess you could say that," you said as hesitantly as possible. after the two of you got the coffees, you got back to the table as you took off your sunglasses in a sigh of relief.
"do you really wear sunglasses everywhere you go?" Jon asked. you debated on telling him the actual reason but decided on a vague answer, "eh, it's more for secrecy. I guess if I get another date, I might tell you the real reason," you winked, making Jon blush.
+
through the weeks, you decided to keep the biggest part of your life a semi secret to Jon still. he knew vaguely of a few things but one mistake on your end managed to throw all of that away in more ways than one.
you were walking downtown with Jon, his hand grasping yours as the two of you roamed an area of town that you knew didn't have major significance to WE. you were holding a coffee in one hand as you walked about a few things that happened to you that week to Jon. it wasn't until you walked towards a busy street that your heart fell to your stomach.
a huge billboard, like signs you would see on highways, of you and Damian representing Wayne Enterprises stood in the middle of an intersection. you stared at the ground, your one secret given away as Jon stared down at you, a look of shock in his eyes.
"wait, you work with Damian Wayne?" he asked as he could tell that you did not want to look at him. you sighed, a bit scared, "work partners might be a little too far from what we are," you gulped, finally realizing that you had to admit to your family ties.
Jon looked at you, now more confused than shocked.
what you didn't know was that at the same time that you were about to confess everything to Jon, a paparazzi had taken dozens of photos of you and Jon that were immediately uploaded to various Twitter accounts and gossip magazines.
"Damian Wayne is my adopted brother. Bruce Wayne is my adopted dad. that's why I have a lot more money than any regular Wayne Enterprise worker."
Jon immediately stumbled to the ground, not expecting that answer coming from you. you immediately felt tears hitting your eyes as you figured that maybe Jon didn't want to be with someone so rich and famous. someone's whose family was always in the spotlight.
"DAMIAN WAYNE IS YOUR BROTHER?" Jon screamed, catching you off guard as this was the first time Jon had ever screamed at you. you nodded, trying not to look at him in the eyes, "he's going to kill me. your entire family is going to plot my murder. I'm a dead man. Clark is going to find me in a ditch," Jon started talking to himself.
it was now your turn to look at Jon confused, "wait, what?" you asked, wiping your tears. "YOUR BROTHER IS MY BEST FRIEND. Damian Wayne is Robin and I'm Superboy!" he whispered the last part, "I've been dating my best friends sister this entire time without realizing it!" he screamed.
you finally connected the dots. every time Damian said he was going on patrol with Superboy meant that he was going to hang out with Jon and every time Damian said that Jon turned down a patrol session usually meant that you were going on a date with him. both of you stared at each other, not knowing what to say.
"small world, eh?" you asked, trying to defuse the tension, "guess we better figure out a way to tell them, huh?" Jon replied as you both heard your phone going off with texts and calls. you opened it to see that Dick, Bruce, Tim, and even Jason and Alfred were frantically calling you.
"hello, what happened?" you asked, picking up Dick's call. "GET HOME NOW!" he yelled through the phone as you heard Damian's screeching voice from the other side, "why? what happened?" you asked, staring at Jon now in fear.
"SHE'S DATING JON? I'M GOING TO KILL HIM BEFORE I KILL HER!" you heard Damian scream before something broke, "pictures of you kissing Jon came to the public on Twitter and he saw them," Jason said, half annoyed.
both of your hearts fell to your stomach as you realized it was now or never. everyone knew of your relationship and it wasn't even something both of you tried to do intentionally. you grabbed Jon's hand, yours shaking in fear as you got into the passenger side of his beat up red truck. he could tell you were beyond scared to go home and he now knew it was time. he had to man up before it got worse and you attempted to break up with him.
once you arrived to Wayne Manor, you sat still, not moving an inch. "it'll be okay darlin', I promise it won't be too bad," he murmured as he opened your door. you nodded as you hopped off and started walking towards the door.
you could hear Damian's yells still going on from the other side door as you opened it. you grasped Jon's hand and walked into the living space, Damian's eyes immediately looking at you before charging to Jon with every ounce of strength he had. Jason quickly grabbed you as Jon dodged him and Damian went straight to attack him again. you couldn't bare to look at the sight and felt tears spring to your eyes as you hid your face into Jason's side.
"hey, you okay?" Jason asked. he could see the tears in your eyes which instantly made him a bit upset. "enough," Jason screamed, catching everyone's attention. Jon and Damian saw the hurt look on your face and as soon as Jon realized you were upset at the fight he was having, he kicked Damian off of him and walked towards you.
he grabbed your hand and whispered an apology into your ear as he stroked your cheek lovingly, "I'm sorry dear but I wasn't expecting Damian to do this," Jon said as Damian watched the way Jon was treating you. a part of him knew that Jon would treat you right. Jon wasn't like your typical average boy but the fact that neither of you told him is what set him off and seeing you being so lovingly with Jon set him off again.
Damian ran towards Jon again but this time, you shielded him which made him stop immediately, "Damian, stop, please," you croaked. Bruce saw you trying to neutralize the situation and stood next to Damian, hinting at him to quit it, "I'm sorry we never told you but the reason why we never did was because we had no idea who the other was. I didn't know Jon was your best friend and clearly didn't know that he was Superboy and he had no idea I was even related to you nevertheless your sister. please, if it's anyone's fault, it's mine," you explained.
Dick, Jason, and Tim stared at Jon who grabbed your hand and pulled you to the side, "and I would have never made the move if I knew she was your sister but we fell in love and it was like a soulmate connection. we were meant for each other and I want her to be in my life. she's it for me," Dick sighed mesmerized as Tim and Jason gagged at the cheesy confession.
Damian growled, "if you even think of hurting her, Clark will be down one son and I mean it. that's my sister and no man will ever be good enough for her. you are my best friend and she might be a pain in my ass, she means the world to me. I will not hesitate to dig your grave and bury you alive if I see one tear of sadness coming down her face," Damian stated before hitting Jon on the shoulder purposely before walking away.
you smiled, your heart swelling at Damian's speech. he never once said anything like that about you and in his Damian way of being, you knew this was his way of accepting your relationship with Jon. you smiled at Jon before giving him a huge kiss on the lips, making your dad and all of your brothers gag at the sight.
"okay, save that shit for privacy, no one needs to see that," Jason said as he walked away. Bruce gave you one look before turning to Jon, "your father knows in case you were wondering but feel free to stay for dinner if you'd like," Bruce said before walking away with Tim and Dick walking away with him.
"I love you," you whispered to Jon as he let out a laugh against your lips, "I love you too and I'm all of this was cleared out." you nodded in agreement as you grasped his hand, "wanna come up to my room? I figured we should catch some sleep before Alfred calls everyone for dinner and Damian starts another fight," Jon agreed, giving you a kiss on your head as the two of you walked up the stairs.

Lovestruck - fic
Characters: Tim Drake, Damian Wayne, Jason Todd, kinda Dick Pairings: future!jondami, implied-kinda?timkon, also timbernard Summary: Damian starts acting weird after Tim and Bernard begin dating. Turns out even this kid can be naive, and a total idiot, when he wants to be. A/N: idk a headcanon I couldn’t stop thinking about haha. Damian is absolutely one of those genius kids who don’t know the most basic things. Also if it’s not clear, Damian is comparing Tim’s answers to what he likes in people to if they match Conner. all ages are current canon so Tim is immortal and Damian is 14 mkay bye.
~~
When Tim started dating Bernard, he expected a lot of different things. He expected Bruce’s protectiveness, Dick’s softness, Jason’s gift of XL condoms, Cassandra’s date suggestions and even Stephanie’s own prepared shovel talks for his new paramour.
But he did not expect…well, this.
He did not expect to see Damian sitting on the front porch when Bernard brought him home from their third date. He did not expect Damian to start furiously writing in the notebook on his lap at the sight of them.
He did not expect to come down to breakfast and see the kitchen table scattered with notes and lists and images of way too pretty people, pictures of Bernard and Steph among them.
“…What are you doing?” Tim found himself asking sleepily.
“Research.” Damian replied simply, sipping thoughtfully from a mug on the island. “None of your concern.”
“Oh yeah?” Tim asked as he approached. Instantly he tapped the photos of Steph and Bernard. “So why are there pictures of my ex-girlfriend and current…boyfriend here?”
His stomach still did giddy jumps at the thought.
Damian’s lips twitched, like he’d been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Then he reached out and slid the photos underneath some papers. “Just…persons of interests.”
“For?”
“None of your concern.” Damian reiterated. Quickly, he began to shuffle all of his papers and pictures together. “Jeez, what does that Dowd boy even see in you…”
And then he was gone before Tim’s pre-caffeine mind could catch up.
After that, Damian was less obvious, but Tim could still catch on. In fact, everyone was catching on. But, like the emotionally constipated Bats they were, no one said anything, or tipped their youngest off.
They all just watched, as he suddenly began to distantly follow Tim around. Around the house, around the city, both as a civilian and in uniform. It was Cassandra who declared that Damian was watching who Tim was interacting with, not necessarily him.
He never followed him on his dates, though.
Then came the questions. Every time they were together. They’d go to lunch downtown near the office, and Damian would ask:
“Do you like that girl’s hair?”
“Would you ever wear those shoes?”
“How much do you respect a person if their suit jacket doesn’t fit them properly?”
When they’d be staking out a suspect on a building overlooking a street corner, he’d say:
“That belt is too gaudy.”
“You can tell he spent way too many hours in the mirror getting ready to go to that disgusting dive.”
“I can’t believe she’s walking on this street in those heels. Would you go for comfort or fashion?”
And it continued, the following, the seemingly random questions. After a while, Tim chalked it up to…maybe Damian was just getting to know him. Just trying to actually get along for once in their lives. They were both getting older, more mature. Maybe it was just time they started acting like what they were.
Brothers.
But then he came home one afternoon to find Dick standing in the manor’s foyer, back leaning against the wall that led into the central sitting room they all used. It was almost evening, which meant Damian was most likely in there sketching, or reading with his pets.
Dick noticed him open the door, and quickly put a finger to his smiling lips. Tim nodded and silently closed the door behind him, carefully took off his shoes and jacket, then tiptoed over to Dick.
He peeked around Dick’s shoulder. Sure enough, Damian was in there, but he was standing at the fireplace, staring down into the flames.
Jason sat in the loveseat behind him.
“Jay just got in there. He hasn’t said anything yet.” Dick breathed. Tim frowned skeptically. Surely Damian knew who was in the house. Knew there was something going on if Jason had just sought him out.
“What are we interrogating him for?” Tim whispered back. “Did he lose one of Alfred’s recipe books again?”
Dick just shook his head and pointed into the room. Tim looked back in.
Jason was relaxed in the chair, but staring intensely at his youngest brother. Damian must have known that, felt his eyes, because he wasn’t looking up. Kept his gaze glued to the fire at his feet.
Suddenly, Jason huffed, crossing his arms. “Spill.”
“Spill what.” Damian rolled his eyes.
“Spill why you’re stalking Tim.” Jason said bluntly. “Why you’re asking him all those dumbass questions.” A pause. “…Why you’re keeping tabs on his boyfriend.”
Tim inhaled sharply, glaring up at Dick. Dick waved both his arms quickly, implying that Jason’s words weren’t true, that it was just to catch Damian off guard.
“I’m not keeping tabs on him, Todd. That’s ridiculous.” Damian countered. “I’m merely making sure they’re still together.”
A moment to let the fire crackle.
“Well, I’m also making sure that boy isn’t hurting or manipulating Drake in some way.” Damian murmured softly. “But mostly, I’m just making sure they’re still together.”
Jason crossed his ankle over his knee. “Why?”
“What, I can’t be concerned for my brother’s safety and happiness?”
Jason snorted. “Not that brother’s.”
Damian glanced over his shoulder and narrowed his eyes. Then back to the fire.
Jason waited a minute, let his eyes dart across Damian’s back, study his posture. “…Why are you so concerned if Tim and his new boy-toy are still together?”
Damian shrugged silently.
“Don’t do that.” Jason scolded. “Use your words, Damian. Like a big boy.”
Damian let out a frustrated exhale. “I’m just…confirming Drake isn’t looking elsewhere.”
“What, to cheat on his boyfriend?” Jason drawled. “Timmy’s not the cheating type, I can tell.”
“No. No.” Damian said sternly. “That’s not what I’m saying.”
“Then what are you saying?”
“I’m saying!” Damian threw his arms out. Let them fall back to his thighs with a slight smack. “…I’m saying I’ve seen him look at others the way he looks at Bernard Dowd and that is…concerning. …To me.”
“Others?” Jason questioned. “What others?”
“Like Conner Kent!” Damian finally spun around now. Jason’s eyebrows rose in surprise and Damian rolled his eyes again. “Oh don’t tell me you don’t see it. Those two have been flirting with each other since the damn day they met. Drake dating this boy now only confirms the possibility of their eventual coupling.”
Jason let his face settle back into neutral, let the words bounce around in his brain. “Okay…I guess I can agree with that.”
Tim glanced up at Dick, who gave him a wink. Tim’s face instantly went beet red.
“But that still tells me nothing.” Jason continued. “So Tim and Conner maybe had or have crushes on each other. Maybe they’re attracted to each other. Maybe they’re forever star-crossed and nothing will ever happen. So what? Why does that bother you?”
Damian kept his lips pressed firmly together. After a moment, he spun back towards the fire.
“…Damian?”
“…Because it would be weird.” Damian said at last. “It would be weird if he and Conner…”
Damian’s voice fell to an unintelligible mumble.
“What?” Jason asked gently. “I didn’t catch that.”
Damian mumbled again, still impossible to understand.
“Kid, you’re gonna have to speak up, okay. I can’t hear you-”
“I said it would be weird if he was dating Conner while I was dating Jon!” Damian yelled, whirling around once more. “And if he breaks up with Dowd and starts dating Conner before I can gain the courage to talk to Jon then I’ll lose my chance!”
His last words echoed in the space around them. Floated into the hallway and echoed up the stairs, too.
Not that anyone noticed. Tim had grabbed Dick’s bicep, while Dick had thrown a hand over his own mouth in surprise.
“Oh my god.” Tim whispered. “Oh my god, oh my god.”
“That…” Dick murmured. “That’s the cutest fucking thing I’ve ever heard in my life.”
Jason, luckily, had more composure than the two of them, and suddenly Tim realized why it was Jason doing the prodding, not Dick.
Jason’s eyes had just widened, no other movement than that. He remained still, remained calm, even as Damian’s face darkened, and embarrassed tears appeared in the corners of his eyes.
“Oh.” He said simply. “Oh, Damian.”
“Shut up.” Damian crossed his arms again, but they all knew this time it was to hold himself. “Don’t…don’t make fun of me.”
“Never.” Jason promised. “But also, not a thing you need to worry about.”
“Why, because Jon will turn me down anyway?” Damian whispered bitterly, turning away. Not towards the fire this time, just the window.
“He’d be an idiot to, and I’ll beat the shit out of him if he does.” Jason said as he uncrossed his legs and leaned his elbows on his knees. “No, I mean, you don’t need to worry about it because it wouldn’t be weird if y’all just so happened to be double-dating.”
Damian waited, then glanced back at Jason. “It wouldn’t?” Jason smiled and shook his head. “There isn’t like…I mean…a law…?” He inhaled slowly. “If Drake and Conner started dating, wouldn’t that make Jonathan and I…related?”
“That’s only if they got married, and even then, wouldn’t be weird.” Jason shrugged. “What, you’ve never heard those stories of like…twins marrying another set of twins? That shit happens all the time. You wouldn’t be the first.”
Damian blinked owlishly, let his hands fall back to his sides. “…Oh.”
“Yeah. Oh.” Jason laughed, standing. “Besides, Tim seems to really like Blondie whats-his-name so…I really don’t think you have anything to worry about.” A second, to cheekily add: “At least…not right now.”
Damian twisted his lips. “I told you their chemistry was obvious.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, so is Bruce and Clark’s if you ask the tabloids and half the Justice League.” Jason droned, reaching out for Damian’s shoulder and tugging him into his side. “But like I said, don’t worry about it. Who cares about your idiot brother and who he’s dating, let’s focus more on you and how you’re gonna woo one Jonathan Kent, mmkay?”
He quickly ushered Damian out of the room using a door on the far side, only glancing back once to mouth oh my god! dramatically to the ones watching from the hall.
“That…” Tim exhaled as Jason closed the door behind them. “…was the most precious thing I think I’ve ever seen.”
Dick hummed in agreement, then: “…But is he right?”
Tim glanced up at him.
“You and Conner?”
Tim felt his face warm a little. “…I’m dating Bernard, Dick.”
“Okay.”
“And…I think I should go call him. We haven’t talked all day.”
Dick smirked. “Okay.”
“…Don’t look at me like that.”
Dick let out a chuckle. “Okay.”
“…Stop saying okay.”
“…Okay.”
“Dick!”
He laughed again. “Sorry, sorry.” He ran his fingers through Tim’s hair. “Tell Bernard I said hello, and also warn him that your younger brother is absolutely ready to gut him, should he hurt you.”
Oh yeah. Tim forgot that little tidbit. He felt his face warm even faster.
“Yeah…” He sighed, turning towards the stairs. He ignored the little flutter in his heart, at the idea of his lovesick, protective, ridiculous little brother. God, that kid. “Yeah, I think that’s probably something he oughta know.”
