I'm pretty sure this is my first time watching Indonesian horror, and I have to say I liked it quite a bit. Not all the stories are on the same level, and some of them felt rather boring, but I already expected that; it's a usual problem when it comes to anthologies. In this case, I think my favorites were The Orphan, Hypnotized and P.O. BOX (at least until that silly ending). I also appreciated the show's decision to focus on the characters for the most part, instead of prioritizing the crazier stuff. So, is Joko Anwar's Nightmares and Daydreams the best horror anthology I've ever seen? Not at all, but I wouldn't mind getting more episodes.

マヤは自分の出生ルーツを探るために親友のディニと共にある山奥の村を訪れる⛰️しかし村の人々の様子がどうもおかしい・・・😱

画面作りが丁寧で手堅く、脚本はぼちぼちだが、それを1.5倍増しの出来栄えに押し上げていて結構オモロい作品👌

監督のジョコ・アンワル、映画『グンダラ〜』を観た時も思いましたが、画面構成や映像のルックに対するこだわりとそれを具現化する力が備わった人だと感じました‼️

古典的過ぎて笑えるようなホラー映画でありがちな展開が何度かありますが、映像がリッチなので、そんな展開ですら見応えを感じました👌

ノリ���日本のホラーと欧米のホラーを混ぜ合わせたような感じで、欧米ホラー的なびっくり映像や唐突なグロ映像をふんだんに盛り込みつつも、日本映画的な芯まで冷える怖い物語要素もあります‼️

『悪魔のいけにえ』や『シャイニング』オマージュが露骨でちょっと笑っちゃいました😅

Ok admittedly have only seen eps 1 and 6 because my horny ass always prioritizes Ario Bayu and Fachri Albar first and foremost but damn those are WILD. Cant believe all of the eps are on Netflix available for everyone to see. We’ve gone a long way since Halfworlds 🥲
