Hi ho! It’s me!! The person who translated a clip of the Puyo stage that one time!!

Allow me to present the next best thing, an updated translation!! From when I posted the last video I have since improved in my Japanese skills, so I wanted to try doing the bits I couldn’t get before!!

(And everyone say a big thank you to @kirstenonic05 for helping me figure some of this out!!)

real talk, Jericho has definitely taught her to lie, misdirect, and be deliberately vague if asked about what he does for work, since he's made a lot of powerful enemies. He doesn't tell her much about his vigilante work for her own safety, but he doesn't want to keep her completely in the dark either, so she's pretty knowledgeable about information security for a six year old

HOW TERRIBLY IT STUNG—FAR WORSE THAN ANY scrape that Ari had experienced before—and even the gentle hand that made circles on her back in an attempt to pacify, the sweet fingers that carefully wiped away tears caused by pain, and the comforting feeling of the familiar and soft fur-lining ( his CLOUD, as she often referred to it as ) could not soothe her upset. She did not mean to get so excited—she knows what happens when she does and forgets about her difficulties—but she was so DESPERATE to catch the butterfly and show Leon its beauty. He had to see its wings! 

But history had a funny way of repeating itself with unfailing regularity, and the moment her little feet picked up speed was the same moment that they became PESKY. One unprepared foot got caught on a raised piece of cobblestone, and tumbling Ari went, scraping knees, palms, and elbows against the rough road. 

Needless to say, all butterfly hunting adventures ended abruptly, and now, instead of enjoying the last of this beautiful day beneath the gentle light of dusk, Ari was sat upon Leon’s lap, holding onto him tightly as he carefully fixed the scrape on her bony knee,—the worst injury of them all—and applying only what was necessary—but was it even? How could it be necessary when it made the boo - boo hurt much worse? It didn’t matter how CAREFUL Leon was, for the problem was certainly not his touch,—little Ari trusted him far too much to shy away from his hand, even when it wielded the suspicious liquid that made things sting—but rather whatever the cloth was drenched in. No, she didn’t like that stuff one bit … 

When Leon attempted to bring it near her again, for the cut was not yet ready to be bandaged, Ari reached out and placed her little hand atop his, gently pushing it away as she shook her head rapidly. 

“ nnn … no, thank you!” she pleaded. “ i … it hurts! I — I don’t like it! ”
