Overseer Archimedes and the Fellows In Grey
As I’ve mentioned before, Archimedes is not only one of the Overseers of the Fellowship of Eldritchicians. He is also a (the?) Mothman (because Mothman is by far my favorite Cryptids). Is the immediate superior to to those Eldritchicians who study Cryptids...most either learning his bizarre language, or getting help from Alaire to Translate...Archimedes refusing to use or wear a Universal Translator. He is in charge of his own little Splinter group, the Fellows In Grey (the FoE’s answer to the Men in Black). Basically being the ones who deal with Cryptids and Aliens and things. They probably still follow the Three to a team as the greater FoE does? Members include. Overseer Archimedes. Miss Calista Flatwood. Mister Erland Ranswell (an accomplished Linguist, Astrocartogrspher, and researcher. Who happens to be one of those big headed grey alien guys). Dr. Mary Leeds. Twelfth child of the Leeds family. Immediate Elder sibling and self appointed Caretaker of the Jersey Devil (aka John Daniel Leeds). Medical Doctor and accomplished survivalist. Also employed by the FiG are a whole bunch of Fresno Nightcrawlers who answer to Archimedes and basically report on cool stuff they find. They’re like the Knowledge seekers to Archimedes’ Wong Shi Tong From Atla. Thought I just had! Mister Erebus Hyde, the Hidebehind Network. I’m really proud of this one. Alaire was being stalked by a Hide Behind. Hide behind was held still, and Alaire befriended it and gave it a Name. Erebus for the personification of Darkness in Greek Mythology (for the Hidebehind was something akin to true Darkness and yet not quite it...Alaire suspects the Hide behind is a thing junior only to the Eldritch Fellows...who predate Existence), and Hyde because the name. The Hid behind Network is many many Hide behinds who are in a sort of hive mind yet not quite. They all answer to Erebus Hyde...though from listening to them you can tell they’re different. They will make themselves known to those who they report to...and only a select few have managed to know without being told that Erebus is definitely behind them. These two being Alaire of course, Archimedes, and the also above mentioned Dr Leeds. So yeah...there’s the Fellows In Grey....(only two of whom actually wear grey). Make of this what you will. well this doodle page is kind of eclectic lol
[ID: a page full of digital doodles featuring myself, team fortress 2 characters and various pokemon. The big doodles are:
1) Myself dressed for halloween with the note “didn’t do much for halloween. just stuck some plastic horns on my face at home.” The person has pale skin, brown hair, a slight mustache and freckles. Their hair is long, buzzed at the sides and tied back half up half down. They have black horns and sharp teeth, and are wearing a green shirt tucked into black pants, a gold earring and necklace, brown bracelets and green and gold eye makeup.
2) My sona smiling, winking, sticking out their tongue and giving a thumbs up. They have a cat-like face with huge pointed ears on the sides, little pointy horns and a fluffy dog-like tail. They have long brown hair in the same style as mine, slight sideburns and white fur with light brown spots like freckles and striped ears. They are wearing a red hoodie and beige cargo pants.
3) Me again, smiling and doing peace signs. They are wearing ear cuffs, rings, studded belt and bracelets, a red flannel, black mesa logo t shirt, grey jeans and black combat boots.
4) Demoman from tf2 looking surprised, holding a beer bottle and wearing a red turtleneck.
5) Medic from tf2 with a huge grin covered in blood. Archimedes is next to him, also covered in blood. The note next to him says “he should be covered in blood all of the time. it is good for his health :)”
6) Medic tf2 with the burly beast cosmetic, shirt ripped open. Next to this is dr coomer from half-life but the ai is self aware saying “GORDON, TITTY HUGE BOOB FUCK”
Scattered between these are doodles of: A bat silhouette, a ghastly named Jerry, a lampent named Flicker, a drifloon named Percy, 2 litwick labelled “Babies :3″, a pumpkin with a duskull carved on it, a golett, a duskull named Dusty, a shuppet named Betty, a phantump named Twig, someone in a cloak that has red eyes and antennae labelled “sibling’s mothman costume I made”, a yammask, and a sableye named Pebble. End ID]

Ideas for New Eldritchicians (and more thoughts on an older one)
Archimedes: Archimedes is a Mothman. Or possibly an Owlman? Probably a Mothman. I know he is definitely the best friend of Alair Vendel Eldritch and normally accompanies him wherever he goes, sticking to the shadows around Alair’s Campfires. Or possibly hiding in Alair’s shadow some how? Not sure if he speaks any human languages, elvish ones, or his own Mothman Language that others find a way to understand. Alair just understands him. Archimedes is an amazing researcher for the FoE and is usually the one sent out to deal with the especially spooky stuff that aren’t ghosts. Gets along really well with Alyss, Medusa, and Aderyn. Comyna: A Witch who was originally hanging out with Alpheas Eldritch before joining the FoE. Due to various circumstances....she’s stuck in the form of a Black Cat. Has learned from Algimantus, Alvis, and Albus aside from learning shape shifting stuff from Alphaes. Not sure on the name. Make of this what you will. A Current list of Eldritchicians those developed and under developed.
I will list the Currently thought up Eldritchicians. This might be repetitive but ah well. Will have their name, what Eldritch topics they’re familiar with, any particular interesting bits about them like if they’re part of a Splinter group or what have you. Hope you find this interesting, and if you have any questions be they important or otherwise...please ask away! Please? Alyss Violet Eldridge: First Eldritchician. The Arch Overseer, Founder and leader of the FoE. Adopted daughter of Alvis Vadim Eldritch. Raised by Alvis and the rest of his Fellows. Has learned a little of everything from the each Eldritch Fellow (even Alastor) Skilled in the Rapier, Carnwennanian Dagger, excellent persuader and diplomat (when necessary). Always has a book on her person. Has an Awoken Shadow. Is Dark skinned with unnaturally white hair. Wears three Rings. Her Overseer and Arch Overseer Rings on her left (An Iron Ring set with Amethyst and a Silver Ring set with Lapis Lazuli), and a Ring gifted to her by the Eldritch Fellows which is visibly made of Orichalcum with a brilliant blood red stone of some sort (a very philosophical sort). Immediate superior to all Eldritchicians. Will occasionally not wear her Overseer Rings and go about business as a simple Eldritchician, usually teaming up with Tomomi and Charles Williams. Overseer Secundus Sinbad Al-Amin. A Cartographer and Blacksmith from Damascus. Knows how to make Damascus Steel. Has learned from Alvis(Wisdom) Albus(Ghosts and Sea Creatures) , Algimantas (Items and Objects and Allan (Demons and things considered Demons and such). Vice Chancellor of the Academy for Eldritchicians. An avid Cartographer of Strange and unusual Locales. A friend to Alvis. Wears two rings. One is his Overseer Ring, the other is a Agate Ring which to my knowledge is a custom of Muslim men. If this is incorrect, please correct me. Overseer Morgan Maddox. A Scottish (or Welsh? I’m not sure yet) Warrior. Friend of Alyss. Heads the Saint Alyss Academy for Eldritchicians. Skilled in Spear, and Carnwennanian Dagger. The Overseer who ...oversees the paperwork for the occasional necessary extermination and such? Monster hunting and the like. Learned under the Legendary Scàthach before meeting Alyss and the Eldritch Fellows. As an Eldritchician Studied under Alvis, Algimantas, Albus, and Alaire. Her Spear is made by Albus from The bone of a Sea Monster, Silver, Cold Iron, Meteoric Iron, And Orichalcum. Has a Prosthetic Arm of Magic Silver made by Algimantas. Wears her Overseer Ring on her left hand. Overseer Runa. A Norse Elf who along with her sister Huld followed Alvis around for a month or two certain that he was Odin. When the two realized Alvis was in fact not Odin they stuck around all the same. Runa joined the founding Eldritchicians while Huld helps in managing the Archives alongside Sophocles. Runa is basically the Bard (or Skald I suppose) of the Overseers. Has studied under Alvis, Algimantas, Albus, Alaire (for storytelling). Wears her Overseer Ring on his left hand. Overseer Cosmin The Solomonar: as the Title suggests, Cosmin is a (former?) Solomonar. A Wizard (?) From Romanian Folklore (Mythology?). Controls the Weather and rides a Dragon. Runs the Grey School, modeled after his own Education as a Solomonar at the Scholomance. Already knew a whole lot but has studied with Alvis, Algimantas, Albus, Alaire, and studied with Algernon even. Wears his Overseer Ring Overseer Archimedes: A Mothman. Tall black winged thing . Best friend to Alaire. In charge of the Fellows In Grey, a Splinter group in the Fellowship that deals with Cryptids, Aliens, and so on. Does not wear his Overseer Ring nor any of his pins. He leaves all the stuff which denotes him as an Eldritchician with Alaire. Alaire being the only Eldritch Fellow to actually kinda sorta join the FoE. Sophocles of Alexandria: Head Archivist for the Fellowship. He is not really an Overseer....he is imprisoned in the Archives for having tried stealing a book from Alvis...this did not end well for Sophocles place of Employment, The Library of Alexandria (books were sparred, rest was destroyed). Can not leave the Archives. Medusa: Former Priestess of Athena, Gorgon. Studied Alvis’ Wisdom, Algimantas’ stuff (who she hates), Alpheas, and with Albus. In a Trio with Ismene and Prioska. Studied shapeshifters and transformation with Alphaes (spelling?). In a relationship with Ismene. Her serpent locks are Golden. Ismene: Former Priestess of Athena. Also a Former Statue. Still has some Statue characteristics. Studied with Alvis, Algimantas, and Albus. In a relationship with Medusa. Prioska Lakatos: A Vampire from Hungary. Skilled in Clockwork. Has a Coat she stole from Albus. Calls Albus Alucard. Studied under Albus, Alvis, Algimantas, and Alaire. On a Trio with Ismene and Medusa. Also a part of Alyss’ Intelligentsia (keeping track of other secret Societies and Spy things). Loves teasing Quincey. Quincey Johnathan Jack Harker: Eldest son of Johnathan and Mina Harker. Vampire Hunter. Studied with Albus (Ghosts and stuff), Algimantas, Alvis. Duel wields Bowie Knives (one belonging to his Namesake, the other made of Adamant by Albus). Is Bi...not always the brightest...Can see Ghosts. On a Trio with Horatio and Runa. Might be in a relationship with Huld? Lucius Abraham Arthur Harker: Second Harker Son and Younger brother to Quincey. Is not an Eldritchician. He is a ghost though and is haunting his Brother (‘To keep an eye on my dummy of a Brother so he doesn’t get himself killed). Will regularly set up Hauntings so as to set up his brother with Eligible Bachelors and Bachelorettes and so on. Huld: Norse elf who followed Alvis for months thinking he was Odin with her sister Runa. Might be in a relationship with Quincey? Learned from Alaire, Albus, Algimantus, as well Alewar (Eldritch Horrors In a Extra Planetary Or Lovecraftian sense), and Alwin (Fae and Elves). In a relationship with Quincey? Leader of her Trio? Horatio aka ‘Doctor Faustus’: A Danish Man recognized for dressing in all black. Wields a Rapier. Known as Doctor Faustus since he’s studied Demons with Allan and he studied at Wittenberg. Studied with Alaire and has an Awoken Shadow. It is named but he always says it so quietly, only Horatio and Alaire know the name. Quincey has been able to catch that the name of Horatio’s Shadow starts with an H...followed by an A. Horatio has put all his Eldritch studies into Shadows, Demons and Ghosts. It is rumored he gave his Soul over to Allan V Eldritch. Wields a Carnwennanian Dagger Or a Bespoked Bodkin. Leaving his own Shadow...Lighter for lack of a better phrase . In a Trio with Quincey and Huld. Aeschylus Adams: A Werewolf Ranger, and one of Alyss’ Intelligentsia. Think of a mix of Aragorn and Halt O’Carrick. Excellent Thief and Pick pocket. Studied with Alaire (Cryptids, Shadows, and Folklore), Albus, and Algimantas. Studied Druid craft and stuff with Alfr. In a Trio with Midas Little and Murdann. Dr. Mercury Little: one of Four Little Brothers (three of whom are a part of the FoE), differentiated From his brothers by his Seemingly unnatural Silver hair. Studied Angels and Alchemy with Aldread, Albus, Alvis, and Alaire. Murdann Eldritch: A Finwife From Orkney. First Wife of Albus Viggo Eldritch. Joined after having been with Albus for some years. Knows what Albus has to teach, learned from Alvis, and Alfr. An exceptional Healer. Regularly has Weaving Contests with Ismene and Medusa. In a Trio with Dr Little and Aeschylus. Open relationship with Albus. Dr. Hermes Little: Same as Doctor Mercury Little. Only he has white Hair. Eldest of the Little ‘Brothers’. Studied all the same stuff. In a Trio with Charles Williams and Clarissa Williams. Charles Williams: Once an Editor now an Eldritchician. Tried repeatedly to join the FoE and finally managed it after trying forever. Studied Alchemy and Angels with Aldread, Magical Items with Algimantas (specifically Relics), Ghosts with Albus, and a bunch of others (Alvis, Alwin, and Algernon). The Left hand of the Arch Overseer. Go to diplomat between other Secret Societies. One of Alyss’ Intelligentsia( occasionally answers to the Codename Walsingham). Also, I should mention he’s an ESPer....Telepathy, Telekinesis, and Pyrokinesis for fun ;) . Clarissa Williams: Alternate Charles Williams. ESPER, Can see Ghosts Naturally. Intelligentsia member (Code Name Francis). Dr. Midas Little: same as the other Doctor Littles except that his hair is Golden. In a Trio with Tomomi and Dr. Leeds. Tomomi.: a Kitsune, friend to Alyss since she (Alyss) was young. Expert on Yokai and things. Studied with Alaire, Alvis, Albus, Algimantus and Alpheas (because shapeshifting). Just decided to be the guardian of Alvis’ Bookshop when they were in Japan one time. In a Trio with Dr. Midas Little and Dr. Leeds. when not going on solo missions for Alyss. A part of Alyss’ Intelligentsia (Code Name Dee, because she wasn’t fond of Kit Marlowe as a Codename). Doctor Mary Leeds: 12th Child of the Leeds family and the immediate Elder sibling and Caretaker to John Daniel Leeds...aka...the Jersey Devil. A Medicinal Doctor. Studied with Albus, Alvis, Algimantas, and Alaire. Stood up for her baby Brother when he killed one of the Night Crawlers working for Archimedes. She keeps track of Her Brother to make sure he doesn’t cause trouble (otherwise Archimedes and Alaire will need to deal with him). Learned medicine from the Black Doctor Ghost. One of the Fellows In Grey. Developed the spray they use to wipe memories and things. Mr Erland Ranswell: A Grey Alien in a Grey Suit. One of Archimedes’ Fellows In Grey. A Linguist and Cartographer. Has endeavored to learn the Whooping language of the Fresno Nightcrawlers Employed by Archimedes and Alaire. In a Trio ‘officially’ but not really with Dr. Livesey and Dr. Mercury Little. Dr. Yorick Roger Livesey: Once a Ship’s Surgeon now an animate Skeleton (rather than a Ghost like most who stay at Albus’ Lighthouses). Dressed in Piratey clothes and wears one of Albus’ old Coats when not doing Surgery or what have you. Has studied with Albus, Alaire, and Alvis. As well as Algernon. Can not speak and communicates In two ways. Either sign language or a horrible creaking noise that has an echo of bone saws. The first is interpreted by a Talking Raven Named Apollo Teach, the second by a Talking Snake Named Asclepius Hands. Asclepius’ Voice is supposed to serve as an auditory Balm after hearing Yorick Speak. Dr. Livesey gets along with Murdann and Prioska. He works closely with Albus ( being his First mate in a way?). Teaches medicine at Sinbad’s College for Eldritchicians. When out and about he will wear gloves and a mask to hide the whole...being a Skeleton thing. Dr. Mercury Little: Same as the other Little’s his hair is Silver and he looks younger than Hermes Little. Miss Calista Flatwood: Archimedes Second in command for running the Fellows In Grey. Is the Flatwoods Monster.... Mister Ray Green: A little green Alien. Astro Cartographer. Teleportation technology? I don’t know. Just thought to have a little green man. One of the Fellows In Grey. Let’s see am I forgetting anyone...ah right. Rosemary: A Fairy, once Royal Retainer to King Alberich (who is now Alwin) V Eldritch. Corrupter of Words. A Member of Alyss’ Intelligentsia, Rosemary keeps his eye on the the goings ons of The Fae Courts since his Master has had to abdicate. Is ultimately Loyal to Alwin, but works for Alyss under Alwin’s orders. The expert on Fae among the Eldritchicians. The Nightcrawler Corp: A bunch of Fresno Nightcrawlers that act as Scouts and Recon and things. They are Archimedes’ Eyes and ears for all the goings ons of Cryptids and whatever else they’re asked to look into. They answer to Archimedes only or those who relay things from Archimedes. They communicate in a series of Whoops and Kicking. Only Archimedes and Alaire are fluent in their language. The Hide Behind Network/ Erebus Hyde: A Hide Behind was stalking Alaire once...only to get caught by Aldjoy (Alaire’s living Shadow). Alaire befriended the Creature, and gave it the Name Erebus Hyde. The Hide Behind Network is all Hide Behinds being in a sort of Hive Mind (A Hide Mind?) they are many....They are not Shadows as Alaire originally thought. But they are something...something Old...perhaps only younger then the Eldritch Fellows themselves. Certain Eldritchicians (Dr. Leeds, Horatio, Overseer Morgan and others) know when a Hidebehind is behind them, and they will be sure to make people who they’re giving messages to know they’re there. They all answer to the name Erebus Hyde...all address Alaire as Friend, (and Address all the other Fellows by that title)...others they’ll address by their relation to Alaire. Okay..I think that’s everyone! And in Trios to! Be sure to ask any questions about any of these Fellows you might have. Stuff subject to change. Make of this what you will. Pondering the leadership of the FoE. Names, titles, an so on.
I’m pretty sure there’s going to be...Seven of them. Mind you the various Eldritch Fellows who concern themselves with the FoE (Alvis, Algimantas, Albus, Alair, and so on) have sorta unofficial leadership roles...but that’s a completely different matter. We’ve got Alyss Elridge, adopted daughter of Alvis and the leader of the Fellowship of Eldritchicians. Trying to think of a cool title...but nothing is coming to mind. Still thinking out her character, but I know she’s cross dominant (writes with left hand, wields a rapier or what have you with the the right). Hm...holder of the Sinister (left handed) Phoenix Quill? Don’t know where or when she’s from...just that she was an orphan who found herself in Alvis’ bookshop and just stuck around. Generally formal and quite serious but not a complete stick in the mud. Very concerned with the going ons of the FoE, Recruitment and so on. Always reading something. Handles communication among Eldritchicians...hm..the Sinister Cryptographer could be a neat title. Has studied under every Eldritch Fellow (The Als and stuff) who concerns themselves with the Fellowship of Eldritchicians and has the various pins and Medalions to show it but only ever has three on her person...always having the Book and Owl medallion showing she studied under Alvis. Sophocles of Alexandria, the Librarian. Worked for both Alvis and at the Library of Alexandria. His actions (stealing a book from Alvis) resulted in the destruction of his Library of Alexandria (though all the books were spared). He keeps track of the massive Library the FoE has. Never really leaves the Library. Studied extensively under Alvis. Archivists like him have pins of closed books held shut with chains. Sinbad (not sure on the name?)the Cartographer. A scholar from Damascus who met and Befriended Alvis. Ended up being asked to investigate a disappearing ghost city. Allowed to pursue Alvis’ shop and agreed to joining this new organization that Alyss has thought up. As the title implies, Sinbad’s main interest is Cartography. An interest he got Albus hooked on and the two are working together on their own book detailing all the various locales an Eldritchician might encounter (sunken cities, disappearing villages, Pocket dimensions, Fairyland, etc). Basically the FoE’s equivalent to the Imaginarium Geographica...just not including everything mythical and folkloric...more specified I guess you could say and the FoE isn’t at all concerned with Stewardship of said places. Eldritchicians who study the subject under him and Albus receive a Compass Rose Pin thing made of Damascus Steel. Albus is under the suspicion that Sinbad might actually be Sinbad the Sailor? Possibly? Sinbad doesn’t confirm or deny this theory of Albus’. Alvis knows, but isn’t telling. Rune and Huld. Two Elves who mistook a wandering Alvis for Odin and just wouldn’t leave him alone. Offered them to work for him and they took said offer. The two still mistakenly call Alvis All Father. (Alvis has probably been friends or Riddle buddies with at least a few versions of Odin). Rune is more concerned with the Archival stuff and keeping track of all the things the FoE deals with. An excellent Storyteller has spent time learning from Alair as well as Alvis (having both the Iron Book and the Firepoker pin). Wields a sword when necessary. Huld while taking to the information, is more concerned with the finding and dealing with Monsters bit of the FoE’s work. Has studied under Alvis, Albus, as well as Alair (Cryptids and stuff). Wants to make her own Bestiary (I think that’s the word?). Less enthusiastic about the exterminating certain monsters bit, but does understand the necessity in some cases. Her and Quincey get along swimmingly (Lucius and Rune have both tried at various times to get the two set up and such...results generally involve hijinks). Morgan. A Witch who is stuck as a Cat(or not? Not sure). Introduced to Alvis by his Fellow Alpheas (dude who concerns himself with Shapeshifters and various things that transform and stuff). Can still talk while being a Cat. Tied in Magical skills with the Elvish twins. Alvis welcomed her enthusiastically because of the knowledge she had to offer since parts of it were stuff he didn’t know about. Is close friends with Alyss and is her most trusted confidant. Basically takes any other Witches who join the FoE under her wing to show how the whole Eldritchician thing works alongside the being a Witch thing and so on. Going off a little bit I saw relating to The sorceresses of Avalon, Morgan can breath fire...because reasons. Studied under Alvis getting the Book and Owl, studies magical items with Algimantas getting the Silver Dragon and Golden Apple, studied along side Alphaes, and has has some interaction of some kind with Albus. Archimedes. Archimedes is a Mothman. Absolute Best friends with Alair and just kinda stuck around in Alvis’ bookshop when Alair visited. No one is exactly sure what Archimedes does...but no one really questions him either? When around and not off traveling with Alair he is basically the Head of security for the FoE’s various facilities. The William Hawthorne of the FoE if you will. Whatever pins or medallions he has are kept by Alair and most assume Alair is actually Archimedes...but that isn’t the case. There’s that. Some things to iron out but there you go. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

A Dramatis Personae of sorts for all the thought of Eldritchicians at Present.
Leadership. Arch Overseer Alyss V Eldridge. Overseer Sinbad( Cartographer of the Curious, Weird, and Eldritch). Overseer Morgan. Overseer Sophocles of Alexandria (Head Archivist). Overseer Cosmin (former Solomonar). Overseers Runa. Overseer Archimedes(A Mothman. Best friend of Alaire Vendel Eldritch) Alyss’ Intelligentsia: Charles Williams (Editor and ESPer Left hand to Alyss). Tomomi (a Kitsune and Alyss Right Hand. Childhood friend to Alyss) Rosemary (Fae. Loyal to Alwin V. Eldritch. Not a formal member of the FoE). Prioska Lakatos ( A Vampire. Clockwork enthusiast. On and off relationship with Albus Viggo Eldritch). Autolycus Adams. Ranger (think a mish mash of Halt O’Carrick and Aragorn) and either Shapeshifter like his namesake or merely a Werewolf. Not certain yet. Note. Those in Alyss’ Intelligentsia (with the exception of Rosemary) still do other Eldritchician things when not doing Intelligentsia stuff. Other Eldritchicians. Quincey J.J. Harker. Human, knowledgeable with Ghosts, Vampires, and the sorts of creatures which are of interest to Alaire (Cryptids). Lucius Abraham Harker. A Ghost. Technically not an actual Eldritchician but is just haunting his dummy of a Brother. Medusa. That Medusa. Excellent Archivist, and handler of Eldritch materials. Hates Algimantas Varius Eldritch. Ismene. Former Priestess of Athena and former Statue. Murdann. A Finwife from Orkney. Excellent Healer and handler of Eldritch Materials. Knows of Eldritch things in the Sea, Ghosts, and Folklore things that Alaire would know. Wife to Albus V Eldritch. Clarissa Williams. Psychic Detective. Occasionally takes on Intelligentsia work but only if absolutely necessary. Knows of Ghosts, Angels, And Wisdom. Walter, and Stansby Williams. Thought form duplicates of either Charles or Clarissa Williams (no one is sure which? And no one has bothered to remember). Horatio, aka Doctor Faustus. Received his nickname for having studied at Wittenberg. This Horatio is knowledgeable in Ghosts, Demons, Cryptids....and Old Shadows. One of the only Eldritchicians to decipher and seek to learn this subject from Alaire. Other ideas to follow as I’m thinking to have the Eldritchicians be set up in teams (or perhaps squads works better?) of Three. Only current Team thought up is The Harker Bros and Horatio. More to follow surely. If curious about any...feel free to ask questions and stuff. Or not. Tumblr will probably eat this and make it look all messy destroying my spacing limited though it is. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

New Eldritchician ideas.
Mr. Roswell. One of those Grey Aliens. Interested in Cartography, Cryptozoology, and the handling of Eldritch items. Dresses in full grey suit. Think Men in Black...but Grey. The Fellows In Grey if you like (the FIG). Mr. Green. A green Alien on the shorter side. Interested in Aliens, Cryptids, and Weapons making. Miss Flatwood. That Flatwood Monster. Works closely with Overseer Archimedes (who is a Mothman). The Little Brothers. Hermes, Midas, Mercury, and Rubedo Little. Four gentlemen who all hold a similar look and are really only differentiated by their interests and Hair colors (Hermes is white seemingly from Age, Midas’ is Golden Blonde, Mercury’s is a seemingly unnatural Silver, and Rubedo’s is Red). Only three of these ‘Brothers’ are part of the FoE the fourth is off elsewhere. All four hold an interest in Alchemy. Dr. (Name to be figured out) Leeds. The 12 Child of Mother Leeds, and the immediate elder sibling (if that’s the right phrase) to the Jersey Devil. Interested in Cryptozoology, Ghosts, Demons, and Handling Eldritch items (specifically for Healing purposes). Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

Most common things the FoE deals with
Pacifying Ghosts (either through exorcism, helping them move on through Counseling, or relocating them to another area to harmless haunt)
Dealing with various undead.
As a specific example let's take Vampires. There's identifying the sort of vampire, capturing/pacifying it. and steps passed that depend on the sort of Vampire. If it's an Animalistic Non sapient (I'm fairly certain thats the right word)Eldritch Strix aka Owlmen(aka, the Invasive species the FoE unintentionallily introduced through Algimantas' experiments with the Holy Grail on Vampires) then it is to be captured..attempts to reverse it...and if no reversal proceedute is successfu, eliminate it. The Strix are an infestation in the Eldritch Woods surrounding Archimago Academy, and Training Eldritchicians are often tasked with hunting down said Strix as a part of their training (Vampire Spears and other tools in hand). If the vampire is sapient and reasonable then captured. If the vampire proves openly hostile and sadisticly so..eliminated imediately. If the Vampire seems repentant or guilty over its actions (for lack of a better phrase) they will be captured and usually transferred to the care of Lady Prioska Lakatos (A Vampire herself) who will assist in helping the Vampires put under her care. A number of her Wards have often gone on to join the FoE and in particular joint the Preternatural Intelligentsia branch of the FoE to which Prioska is a lead Intelligencer.
Magical Artifacts/Relics/Items: The FoE makes their own Magical items for use by Eldritchicians but will be on the look out for other such things that pop up. Depending on the item in question (whether it's of cultural or religious significance) the FoE may either confiscate it, or aid in making sure it doesn't leave the custody of whoever is already guarding it. Or returning the item(s) in question to those who should hold custody...though they may very well study it for a brief time before said return.
Fairy/Elf business: This includes : Investigating possible examples of Changelings (though they do not in any way step in to stop these switches due to agreements with the Five Empresses/Queens of Faerie and Elfphame). This could be taking Changelings released back into the human world, or stepping in to make sure abandoned Changelings or those mistaken for Changelings are taken care for. The FoE also acts in a diplomatic capacity sending members to parties and meetings between the Queens to make sure things go smoothly, no wars erupt, or what have you (or some such thing).
Demon business: This usually entails identifying the presence of Demons or Demon like creatures determining the sort. Seeing if they need to step in or stay uninvolved depending on...for lack of a better word cultural factors, or work closely with others on said matters. A lot of times this involves the FoE cleaning up after something perpetrated by members of the Faustian Institute for Maleficium.
Cryptids: Use of Cryptids here is very particular. Keeping certain on my part to not lump in things that are not and should not be consifered such things, and differentiating these from the more Antique and Fantastic. This'll be your Big Foots, your Mothmans, your Fresno Nightcrawlers and such. And in particular your Jersey Devils. The FoE's business with said Cyptic Fauna is basically making sure they're protected, don't harm or be harmed by humans or other beings. This protection policy being insisted on by The Archimago Alaire Vendel Eldritch, Overseer Archimedes (who I should note is a Mothman himself), Headmistress of Leeds and Kidd Academy Calista Flatwoods (Who as the last name would suggest is a Flatwoods (the?) Monster), and Dr. Laura Leeds of the Leeds and Kidd medical department (Imediate Elder Sibling and Self proclaimed Caretaker of John Daniel Leeds aka the Jersey Devil)
The FoE does concern itself with other fields (being about nine major fields and some others) but those are the ones most commonly dealt with.
Make of this what you will.

Fields of study within the Fellowship of Eldritchicians...
The various fields of study within the Fellowship of Eldritchicians. All of the three main bodies of Education utilized by the FoE (Al-Amin Academy under Overseer Sinbad Al-Amin, the Maddox Academy under Overseer Morgan Maddox , and the repurposed Dom-Daniel or ‘Grey School’ under overseer Cosmin Lungu) teach this subjects. Every Eldritchician is expected to be proficient (for lack of a better phrase unrelated to DnD and the Like) in the study and sometime practice of at least three of these Fields. Archiving Information/ Verbal Magic Spells and Curses and Words of Power and the like (identification, breaking, casting, etc. identified by a Pin like a magic Wand...or just an Amulet). Taught by skilled Eldritchician available. Advance course Covered by The Eldritch Fellow Alvis Vadim Eldritch. Archivists have a little Iron book pin. Witches covered by Eldritchicians who know the subject, and the Eldritch Fellow Alphaes Viola Eldritch. Magical Items/Cursed/Magical/Mystical/Relics etc. (Identification, Understanding, retrieval, destruction, and Making(from scratch or infusing into already existing objects). Taught by an Eldritchician with said skills. Covered by the Eldritch Fellow Algimantas Varius Eldritch. A broach? ring of ten rings of Gold and Silver around an iron or Orichalcum chalice. The Undead (Ghosts/Vampires/Revenants/ and other such things). Identification, Protection, Capture, extermination, freeing, and so on. Extermination is not the go to option. Taught by skilled available Eldritchician. Advance covered by Eldritch Fellow ‘Captain/Admiral’ Albus Viggo Eldritch. Several Eldritchicians belong to this category. Not Ghost Spirits are all over in studies. Those who study with Albus get a little Lighthouse pin made of Orichalcum. Storm Elementals. Same as above, also covered by Albus. Underwater Civilizations (Mermaids, Finfolk, etc...). Identification, Capture (if necessary), Diplomacy. Also Albus. Might be treated like an elective almost? Faeries and Elves: Identification, Protection,‘etc. The FoE also concerns itself in the Political matters of the Five Courts. Often acting as a neutral party in incidents between the Courts and their familial Queens (all related I mean. I might be using the word incorrectly? Apologies). Often taught by an Eldritchician who is either a Faerie or Elf themselves. Symbol is...oh I had this...A broken Silver Crown with five points and a twig. Or a bit of Flint (Elfshot ?) with the the Silver five pointed crown around it. Or ...wait...A bit of Elfshot embedded in a Silver pin that looks like Faerie Fruit. That should work? Advance studies taught by Eldritch Fellow Alwin V Eldritch, with assistance by Preternatural Intelligentsia (an intelligence and espionage department within the FoE ) Old Rosemary Goodfellow. Demons: Mainly focused on Western, Middle Eastern, and others like Japanese as well among others? (If acceptable? Like I Will not bring Wendigo into all this for example not for me to do). Focused on Identification, defeat, summoning(when necessary) binding and unbinding. Also covers Equivocation. Taught by skilled Eldritchician, advance study covered by the Eldritch Fellow Allan V Eldritch (who will normally make people study the important subject of Astronomy before going into Demons and things). Overseer Sinbad teaches this subject from time to time at his Academy. Not sure of the Symbol yet. Possibly an Owl Feather...or a Pin resembling that one Demon who teaches you Astronomy and Languages. Not certain. Angels and Related Spirits(Identification, Communication , Summoning etc): advance covered by Aldread V Eldritch. Though he requires Alchemy as a requirement before going into Angels (Dude has modeled his look after John Dee). Pin is probably something like that Eye symbol for a Seraphim with Wings. Yokai might just be it’s own subject along with other such region specific beings (again...if acceptable?) Spirits outside of Ghosts, Faeries, etc (Like...Nature Spirits and the like not classified as anything else mentioned) covered by Alfr V Eldritch. Not sure yet of the Pin. Fantastic and Folkloric Fauna and Flora: concerns Creatures from various folklore and mythology. From various sorts of Dragon, The sort of creatures you’d find in a beastiary (spelling?) and such, to Cryptids like Nessie, the Fresno Nightcrawlers? The Jersey Devil (relevant to a particular Eldritchician) And Various Mans be they Owl, Moth, or otherwise. If anyone could point out Folklores and beliefs I should avoid for reasons of Cultural sensitivity (if that’s the right word? Correct me if I’m wrong) please point them out to me. Much appreciated. Extermination is Forbidden. Observation, Identification, Protection (for and from) and so on. This subject has its own Splinter group (Unusual Fellowship Operatives) led by Overseer Archimedes. The subject is taught by skilled Eldritchicians available and the Advance studies covered by the Eldritch Fellow Alaire Vendel Eldritch (whose more the folkloric and urban legend sort) And also the Eldritch Fellow Algernon Valentine Eldritch ( more the Fantastic like Gryphons, Dragons and so on). Mind you in the case of some (the aforementioned Mothman, Gryphons and Dragons for example) there are varying levels of...I think sentience is the word? The one where their intelligence and understanding is human or better. Whatever that word is. Included is the Hide Behind Network. Pin of a Dragon or Manticore for the Fantastic. For Alaire’s subject either a Whitled pin of a Fresno Nightcrawler or a Mothman Feather. Shadows and Primordial Darkness. Goal is identification, understanding retrieval, and such of said beings. No extermination. Only subduing. Not really taught by any Eldritchician...study of this subject is covered by Alaire Vendel Eldritch and usually only broached after the subject of Folkloric and Urban Legendary fauna. The Success of studying it is usually marked by one of two possible things. Either a Shadow Cloak, or more often a Carnwennanian Dagger of Shaded Iron. Eldritch Entities. Your Lovecraftian sort of Horrors. Identification, Protection, how to fend them off and keep them at bay. Possibly how to eliminate? But that’s usually desperate last minute everything else is falling into nothing levels of it’s all over otherwise. Taught by skilled Eldritchicians. Advance by Alewar V Eldritch. There’s also Cartography (for Underwater ruins, Eldritch locations and locales with strange and unusual geography (Mapping Faerie and Elfphame is near impossible). Taught by Overseer Sinbad Al-Amin...and no one Eldritch Fellows is solely concerned with it. Probably have an Octopus head or something (need to check on if Lovecraft’s work is Public domain...I’m sure most is? And if not...well the idea is fair game?) Combat training Just kinda necessary at times? Most Eldritchicians have some form of weapon made of Adamant. Some early Eldritchicians had Orichalcum weapons until the greater capabilities of Orichalcum were discovered and implemented. Covered by skilled Eldritchicians. Overseer Morgan insists on covering this aspect in her Academy. Albus Viggo Eldritch is sometimes involved with figuring out what best suits individual Eldritchicians. Other materials besides Grey Adamant include various sorts of Iron (Cold, Meteoric, Thunderbolt (from actual Thunderbolts), Transcendent (for ghosts) among others), Damascus Steel, and others. Related is Blacksmithing. Making weapons of all these various things. Taught by those who know it, studied by those interested but one student is required to learn it if no one chooses to. Overseer Sinbad, Albus Viggo Eldritch, and sort of Alaire are concerned with this. Sinbad knowing how to make Damascus Steel. Medical. Got to know some first aid. Covered by those Eldritchicians who know it. Eldritch Fellows rarely involved in such subjects due to never really needing such things themselves. Those who are sometimes involved are usually Alvis, Alaire, and Algimantas. The FoE have some cure alls including Legendary Ciders (Idunnian, and Hesperidean mainly), and some stores or Gorgonic Blood. Main Medical staff Include Murdann Elridge/Elric/ Eldritch but not in actual name. Yorick Johnson, and Overseer Cosmin as well concerns himself with healing arts. Medical staff just has that Asclepius thing? Secret Codes and messages are in there somewhere (special studies) as is ESP and such things. Though those don’t have advance studies with Eldritch Fellows and are covered just by other Eldritchicians. Don’t think Gods on their own will be covered...Probably? I don’t know if that’s a step...off or too far or some such? I don’t know. Hm...Okay...I think...I think that’s just about everything? Yeah. There’s some overlap in subjects due to actual overlap in subjects or due to Eldritchicians available for Teaching (not set usually. More of a rotation thing? Maybe?) and the overlap in their proficiencies. So there’s that set down as it is. For now. Probably won’t be too much change. Make of this what you will. Figuring out a Symbol for the Fellowship of Eldritchicians....
Welp. I’m stuck. So, if there’s one thing I enjoy it’s symbols. Coats of Arms, crests, all that sort of thing. Your GoT family symbols, your Hogwarts House Eblems, your Silver Caretaker Anabasis Machines with a Red Dragon and Omega symbol... Love it. Love it. And here I am stuck with trying to figure out a symbol for the Fellowship of Eldritchicians. (An organization meant to among other things Observe, Study, deal with, confiscate, and occasionally eliminate Eldritch things. Be those Ghosts, Faeries, Demons, other undead, Spirits, and so on) Like, I’ve basically got symbols for the various fields of study and practice within the Fellowship... The Leaders of the Fellowship all have their respective symbols. And a little splinter groups within the Fellowship (the Preternatural Intelligentsia and the Unusual Fellowship Operatives) all have their respective symbols...but I’m stuck on the grander organization. The big thing is knowledge...but I didn’t want to go with just an Owl. One idea was just taking the symbols of various fields within the Fellowship (A Light House, a Book, and Ring of rings surrounding a Chalice, a Black Feather and Wooden Fresno Nightcrawler, among others) and have them all in a circle. But that might be too busy. One thought was to take an aspect from each of seven Leaders of the Fellowship (A Silver Sword/Dagger and Quill through an Apple for Alyss, A Compass Rose from Sinbad, a Spear from Morgan, Book from a Sophocles, Cloak from Runa, a Dragon from Cosmin, and a Black Feather from Archimedes). But again...that might be too busy? Like. Alyss’ (Arch Overseer of the whole Organization) symbol and seal is an Apple with a Silver dagger through it, and supported by two Phoenixes (One Grey, the other Rainbow...because reasons). One thought was to have Alyss’ symbol double for the FoE with the only difference being the Silver Dagger being a personal touch of Alyss’.... Then again she founded the organization...hm. One thought was to have it be a Grey Flame and Sword... Or a Grey Flame surrounding an Eye... I don’t know. Might just have it be the letters FoE. Or maybe...hm. A shield...Separated in Four. One with a Book, one a Spear crosses with a Sword, one a Compass Rose, one a Cloak and Ring...supported by a Dragon on one side, a Mothman on the other... And a Silver Dagger and Apple above the shield (cresting it?)? Maybe...I’m note sure. Gah! This is surprisingly difficult. Need to think of something not overly busy, but holds to it being an organization and stuff...gah. Will think of something surely. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming.

The Seven (?) Overseers of the FoE and the Purposes.
Alyss V Eldridge: Arch Overseer. In charge of the whole organization. Other Overseers answer directly to her. When not holed up in her office running things she is off on Odin like adventures seeking knowledge and Wisdom to bring back to the FoE’s Archives and the Archives of her father Alvis Vadim Eldritch. Never sends straight answers in correspondence. If she is just saying something without being cryptic or in some sort of cipher, then something is seriously urgent and possibly wrong. Also runs and organizes the Preternatural Intelligentsia. Six individuals(some official Eldritchicians, some not) who keep an eye on things like Faerie Society, undead Society, Secret Societies and other such things? Has a Symbol of a Silver Dagger, two Phoenixes (one Gray, one Rainbow) all encircled by the symbols of the various fields of study of the FoE. Sinbad Al-Amin: Second in Command of the entire FoE. He is in charge of running one of the Three main Academies (?) for the FoE as ‘Vice Chancellor’(?). He’s Human. Symbol of a Damascus Steel colored Compass Rose and two crossed swords. Morgan Maddox: Third in Command, Monster Hunter. Heads one of the three Academies meant to train Eldritchicians. Human? Symbol of a Spear, sword, Dagger and skull? Sophocles: In charge of overseeing the Collected Archives of the FoE. Only in charge of other Archivists. Forbidden from leaving the Archives (shackled to the place). One of the main Caretakers of Alvis when the Eldritch Fellow is asleep. In charge of the Caretaking of Alvis. Symbol of a Tome bound in Chains. Cosmin: Leads one of the three Academies for training Eldritchicians. A former Solomonar who still trains Dragons and teaches certain others how to do so. Lead the efforts to empty out DomDaniel so the FoE could use it for its Purposes. Symbol is a Dragon with a Staff in one talon and an Sack and Ax in the other. Overseer Runa: Elf. In charge of the main Treasure House of the FoE. All the relics and items the FoE has collected which all technically belong to the Eldritch Fellow Algimantas Varius Eldritch. Is usually invisible thanks to a Ring and often forgets she is invisible. Is the only one other than Algimantas or Alyss who can command the Apple guards or the Griffin that guards the Treasure House. Rarely leaves the Treasure house except for business requiring all Overseers to be present or to visit her sister and fellow Eldritchician Huld. Symbol of a Griffin, a golden Apple a Silver Ring, the Outline of a Cap, a Green Cloak Overseer Archimedes: A Mothman. No one is exactly sure what Archimedes is in charge of but he holds the rank, title, and authority of an Overseer. He seems to manage Communication among the FoE through the Hide Behind Network, the Night Crawlers, and Various birds. Might also keep track of little pockets of where the FoE Stations itself across the globe? Still figuring out narrative logistics of where and stuff. Is never far from Eldritch Fellow Alaire Vendel Eldritch. Symbol is a Foot Sole, One of his own black Feathers, a Hide Behind behind the foot, and of course a Question Mark. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

Going to try and organize the current roster (?) of Eldritchicians.
There will be the Leadership of the FoE. All the other Thought up Eldritchicians. I think I might have a splinter group that concerns themselves especially with Cryptids and stuff (led of course by Archimedes who is a Mothman), but I need to think of a good name. Will try and get everyone into Trios (since three seems like a good number for a squad of Eldritchicians) and only come up with new ones to fill in gaps. Unless I reach that point, no new ideas for Eldritchicians. Though will likely do something, cause I’m certain I’m missing something. If anyone has any questions regarding what I’ve already shared regarding the FoE, certain Eldritchicians, or what have you, feel free to do so answering questions can be most helpful. Alair V Eldritch, his original Business, and his Shadows
Some ponderings and thoughts concerning Alair V Eldritch. I had originally thought to just have Alair be the Eldritch Fellow interested in Cryptids and things...but then I got to thinking. Then considered should connect him with Campfire Stories and things, Folklore and such. Had middle name be Vendel and make him like those Wandering beggars that always help out in Fairytales and things. But then I thought on the Fires again. He’s always hosting little Campfires for his Fellows to meet him at, or for whoever to meet him at...but I remembered a thing about fires. Provides warmth..and keeps Darkness at bay and what not. So it came to mind, given how old the Eldritch Fellows are (existing before the rest of existence itself...sorta?) that Cryptids and things might be a relatively recent Interest and concern of his. And it hit me that none of the Eldritch Fellows had anything Shadowy about them (except maybe Albus? But he already has a bunch of things) so...why not have it be a thing of Alaire’s ? Studying Those Eldritch beings which are Shadowing...be it living Shadows, personifications of Darkness and the Night, Etc..etc. I know at present that Alaire’s Own Shadow is of the Living Sort. The sort that has its own mind and can act separately of Alair should it need to..but normally hangs out. I don’t know if Alair can control or manipulate the Shadows of others that are firmly attached to their (for lack of a better word) subjects. I know he definitely provides shelter to lost and subject less shadows...giving him a sort of Shadow Pose in the same way Albus is always followed by a small pose of the many ghosts he provides shelter for. Alair is generally a kind sort...but can call on his Shadow to....well I guess one way of thinking about it is Alaire’s Shadow has the potential to be a hellish mix of an Echthros from CotIG and Pride from FMAB (minus the signature eyes and teeth mind you). Of course...Alair normally uses the awesome might of his Shadow (and the many Shadows seeking shelter within his own)...to make awesome and impossible Shadow puppet shows. Now...I just need to think of a good name for Alaire’s Shadow (because f course it needs a name). I know that Alaire’s Shadow and Archimedes (the Mothman Overseer of the FoE) are separate beings. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

Rings for the Overseers of the FoE.
Had a thought. So I thought the nine leaders of the Fellowship of Eldritchicians (Alyss Violet Eldridge, Sinbad the Cartographer, Sophocles of Alexandria, Runa and Huld, Archimedes (the Mothman), Cosmin, and Tomomi) should have some kind of fancy title...Overseer seemed like it would fit? Leader was meh, didn’t want to use Director..so yeah Overseer...with Alyss holding the title of Arch Overseer. That decided...I thought I should probably think of them having some way to identify themselves as the Overseers because I imagine it’s a massive organization and while none of them are necessarily unrecognizable it just seems like a good idea to give them some badge of office sorta thing? Originally thought Amulets...But I decided on Rings. Because Rings are really freakin cool. So the Ring that each Overseer has is made of either Iron or Adamant (I’m not sure? Probably Iron? Something Grey) set with Amethyst ( there was some kind of meaning behind it...but really it’s just because Amethyst is pretty). These Rings are not always Worn mind you? Archimedes for example leaves his Overseer Ring in the care of his best friend Alair Vendel Eldritch, who also keeps all of Archimedes’ other Eldritchician regalia. Sinbad the Cartographer also wears (I hope I’m spelling this right) an Aqiq Ring (as I understand to be a custom among Muslim men and women? If I’m incorrect in this please tell me?)...him having two rings meaning to denote him as the second in command among the Overseers. Then there is Alyss’ Rings. Alyss has three Rings. The first being her Overseer Ring of Iron and Amethyst. This she will occasionally hide on her person rather than show off. A second ring of Silver set with Lapis Lazuli (I came across something that apparently connected Lapis with Wisdom...but to be truthful I just find it to be very pretty and cool) which notes her as Arch Overseer. Then there is her Third Ring. While I’m not sure if the Overseer Rings or Alyss’ Arch Overseer Ring are magical in any way, this one is. Alyss Ring, gifted to her by the Eldritch Fellows is made of two Materials. The Ring itself is made or Orichalcum (a metal that I understand is Atlantis related and stuff), which is just inherently magical and stuff...but the real important thing is what’s inside the Ring. Hidden in this Ring of Magical Atlantean Metal are seeds. Not just any Seeds but Seeds from three particularly infamous Apples. Algimantas acquired an Apple from Idunn and planted every seed but one. All these he made into juice and cider and things for himself, his Fellows, and those he deemed worthy. He got an Apple from the Gardens of the Hesperides, and again planted all but one seed. Then he got another Apple. This one which some couple had taken a bite of each. This Apple he took and planted only one seed among his Eldritch Orchard. These Seeds he took and gathered his Fellows. They Fashioned the Ring...and it was gifted to Alyss by Alvis, Algimantas, Albus, Alwin, Alaire, and all the Eldritch Fellows who took a part in her up bringing. This Ring did three things. It Granted her Immortality. It allowed her to retain whatever youth she cared to, though it did not keep her at the age she received the Ring. But what Alyss found to be most important was what the rest of the seeds accomplished. The Orichalcum drew on the association the seeds had with Temptation and rather than make her the victim of it made it a Tool for her. Granting her improved talent for persuasion. But besides that...she gained Knowledge. Thanks to this Eldritch Ring she could see things as they really are. Lies and Deception easily seen through. The Invisible became visible. Disguises seen through. This and much more probably. And the only cost being one eye going from Blue to Violet, and her hair from black to White (as tends to happen when one is terrified beyond all measure in stories and such). So uh yeah. Went on quite a tangent there but there you go. The Overseers of the Fellowship of Eldritchicians, and their cool Rings. And Alyss’ especially cool ring from her Dad(s). Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming
