I HAVE RETURNED! Exams are over and I have too much inspiration that has piled up over these three weeks. I have so many things I want to do till next exam season like getting back into traditional and digital painting, finishing every wip I have, etc etc.

So I decided to torture myself with a landscape yesterday. I have never done a landscape before, so I watched some tutorials on mountains and water and fog. I have learnt how to manipulate a brush in ibis :D

And– I've recently acquired a taste for Arcane Odyssey and it has caused more brainrot and OC lore than any game has so far. I even have lore for my boat! This brainrot has gone out of hand...

So I painted The Jaws of the Bronze Sea and a little rowboat for scale :D

I think it turned out pretty good for my first painting. I wanted to paint Mount Ceasar but I need to level up first

drawing my Arcane Odyssey save files! (Part 1)

This is Nova Banks! I don't remember much about how I played as her, but considering I definitely didn't play as a hero in World of Magic (which is when I made this save file), and she doesn't have any bounty unlike my 2nd save file, I've decided to portay her as more neutral. Since she's my oldest save file, I've decided to make her in her early-mid 20's. She's level-headed, and I like to think that she's had to put up with my 2nd file's bullshit this entire time, while Ellis (you know him, he's all over my blog, and he's the 3rd file!) is off saving the world from the O of A (abbreviated to prevent AO story spoilers). The reason why it's only her in the photo and my 2nd file is cut off, is cuz you can clearly see that I have not gotten around to shading them yet.

Both Nova and my 2nd file are from World of Magic, while Ellis is from Arcane Odyssey.

Anyway, I'm gonna go pass tf out and tomorrow I'll start preparing for finals.

Wish me luck on my finals, ig?

Polites and Ares: A Chance Encounter

Painting of Ares and Polites for the Bloodstar AU; Polites having just been fighting to Protect Odysseus, and Ares, even though he is technically the god for their opposition, is watching over Polites; both in respect, and interest.

Ares has a thing for warriors who give their absolute all for something or someone. Warriors who will cross the line for their need and cause. Ares watches over Polites, and secretly gives him his blessings.

Depending on how this whole war thing goes, Ares might snatch Polites for himself.

Some fun notes!! Ares has armor sure, but he prefers to show off his battle scars. each one is proof of a battle he survived, and a lesson for himself to do better. Ares is a very reserved person, because he knows all his actions are used against him. He's a quiet man who doesn't speak much, however he says MANY things in his head, and will often deny himself when he subconsciously likes someone. Often times Aphrodite has to force him to realize he has feelings for someone or something, and then he goes baby mode because he's incredibly emotionally immature. Though that's because Athena would always use his emotions against him so he learned to box them up and hide them from even himself. Some of you might be thinking "but Ardy, what about Poseidon?" Oh yeah, Ares told Poseidon he doesn't care that Poseidon claims Polites as his. He's blessing Polites regardless and as far as he is concerned, Polites is his and Aphrodite's and he's just sharing him with Poseidon, and if Poseidon has an issue with that, he can throw hands on land (cause Ares would NEVER fight Poseidon by the Ocean) To those wondering, yes Ares does end up catching feelings for Polites, however he pretends they aren't real and assumes that he just really respects Polites, and Aphrodite clocks the fact he has feelings and she forces him to confront them and realize he likes him (Aphrodite loves it when Ares falls for someone cause she likes to watch ewe and also likes to play match maker) But all that will be drawn later ewe for now, I'M BAAAAACK!!!

Real, I always forget fire hurts you in that game so whenever I see a bonfire from a camp marker or otherwise, my first instinct is to step inside it. If it were any other game, I'd be in the middle of the fire, dancing inside of it.
