Horses have achieved for the Palestinian breeders the beauty of their culture and old civilization, the nobility they have lost over the years... they represent integrity, they represent strength, they represent beauty, they represent gracefulness, sensitivity. Pride is extremely important.
Tumblr media
The Arabian horse is one of the oldest horse breeds in the world. It's prized throughout the equestrian world for its beauty, history, elegance, and endurance capabilities. In Bedouin tradition, the Arabian horse is sacred and signifies bravery and victory with forelocks blessed by Allah. Built to survive the harsh desert climate, the Arabian is proof of the power of persistence and longevity in the face of adversity.

When I lost him, I buried one with him. I kept the other. I asked the kids to be sure to bury it with my ashes when the time comes. We'll find each other again. One way or another.

Very rough sketches for a tloz Au, Link gets killed by Ganon in Gerudo ( in a pretty violent way)but is resurrected by hylia herself, and it's very painful. Then he gets a moral burnout and after trying to unalive himself a few times, he reaches Gerudo highlands. And finds a town there. After saving the town, one of the villagers gifts him a mare. He then gears up and leaves the town to fullfil his duty to save Hyrule. Or maybe not.
The comic focuses on Link's psyche and his journey through -mostly Gerudo- Hyrule. With an emphasis on culture and worldbuilding (And horses)

Halter Arabian Mare (The Sims 4)
Howdy all!
I have recently gotten into The Sims 4 horse RP, and thus I have started working on some custom content.
Thanks to @minervamagicka, a thoroughbred sculpt I had been working on was able to be baked out and the normal map applied to the horse model. Really excited to continue to collab with her! She has some incredible mods already out for fixes, tack, and more.
After painting some custom coats, making some custom poses, I got to here: a halter Arabian mare posed for showmanship!
I plan on releasing a BUNCH of custom handpainted coats to my gallery, and Minerva and I are planning on making some breed presets. I also plan on making quite a few "confo" poses so that people can start the RP, releasing them through contests or something fun like that.
Hope you enjoy the content from here on out!

Legend of the Bloody Shoulder
She picks her way through the dark smoke and fallen
Her precious cargo laying heavy on her back
He is wounded but still breathing, blood trickling
Down her grey speckled shoulder into the sand
There are many versions of this legend,
This is the one I know.
A brave Prince of the wandering desert people
Prepared for war with his warriors behind him
He mounts his finest steed, a bold grey mare
With dark eyes and nose, but white silk body.
Her swift legs carry him racing into battle
Her kicks and bites defend him from harm
He stabs, he slices, foes fall dead around him
But through his body a spear is thrust.
The battle is over, all are wounded or soon dead
The horses have all fled from sound of battle
Only the grey mare remains, with her burden
Her master dying on her back, stains her red.
She knows her duty, she bears him home safely
Through night and day of desert travel
On her back, with failing breath he prays
“Lord, bless this mare and her descendants.”
She reaches home as second day dawns
His people cry out with her quiet arrival
They take him down, he is cold and stiff
Her prince she brought home to be buried.
His wife brings water, she tries her best to clean
The mare’s now dark-red bloody shoulder
But as she rubs, the mare falls heavy to the ground
Her sides heaving with exhaustion, and what’s more,
As the prince is buried, is birthed a blood-red colt
Who grows to take his mother’s pale grey coat
The mother who saved her son and master both
On her colt the mark of her courage and loyalty
In his bloody shoulder marking
And all her children after.
Tumblr media
The bloody shoulder is a marking that appears on grey horses of Arabian descent. It's name is said to come from the legend of a gray mare that carried her injured rider back from a deadly battle, his blood staining her shoulder red. She then gave birth to a foal who bore the same marking as his dam, and her descendants ever since have carried this mark in honor of their ancestor
