Liam flinched a bit at the loud burst of words, chuckling away while he slumped his shoulders - rolling them midway so he could be better comfortable at his posture. Really he simply watched the exchange, if by all means he was uncomfortable - Liam didn’t have that strong of a grip on his hand. Instead of it being firm or anymore, it was gentle enough to be but a mere guide and hold in a loose grip that might as well have been equal to a ghosts touch. But of course once he got that out of his system, liam spoke up. There was much to to wonder. “Yes, it is I. That offered up the water, I remember your face. I remember what you told me—“ He squinted with a brief pucker of his lips before they pursed with a chuckle. “How are you doing from that encounter? I bet thermal readings were off the chart for the cameras, I could see the heat signatures before I came along at first.”

Before Liam continued though, his head sunk with a comfortable murmur against the scritches provided, closing his eyes for a second. Meanwhile one of his hands released Fangs wrist to move up to his bangs, sweeping them back for a split second as ashy residue fell from his locks and coated his fingers. Listening to him speak as he rubbed his fingers together, soft and powder like. A growing smile plastered his lips before a relaxed expression fell over his face, opening his eyes once more. It made him snort for his firmness and straight face demeanour, Liam pressed his chin more comfortably. “I seek no pay back, Fang. Besides you let me ride around on you— even if you weren’t aware, that’s a lot for me. ApologiesInAdvance-“ He spoke quickly for his invasive manners, he had a thing for places he shouldn’t be. The ash doused hand lunged for Fangs hair, sinking into his locks with a brief stroke that hardly lingered before pulling his hand away.

Leaving a white streak of five lines to taint his locks. “Ash, actually. Like chalk I suppose? Now your hair will be even softer-“ Liam cackled before reeling back - certainly in the playful mood he was as she started shaking himself off. “But do tell, how are you doing? Aside from that-“ At the same time, he was shaking his head like a dog.

Liam truly didn’t have judgment for other people, aside maybe some that are unnamed. Family. However, Fang’s kindness rubbed off on Liam much easier as it seemed - he personally anticipated a negative reaction. But instead was he met with undivided affection and attention, something he’s mostly got from Shiro alone and now a new face. He basked in it for a while longer until the soft blep of his forked tongue hung out just a little bit, settling in the scritches he was receiving on his end. His eyes seemingly squinted though, chuckling softly while he eyed him for the moment - while his head lifted away.

“Your kind… Human. If I’m not mistaken?” While he spoke, his body uncoiled from Fang’s fingers as he slinked his head away. Moving downward now from the point of his wrist and so on, slithering down his forearm partway before his body chose to slink down and plop to the floor with a fogging aura of brief white. Although it sounded like it hurt, it didn’t, as he slipped a few more inches away so he didn’t just pop up in his face. Swaying ash and dusty hues emanated off of him before potently manifesting in s thick gust that swept off its vanishing form and upright, it didn’t take long before the formless ash took a solid, pale silhouette of height before it all settled while Liam’s arms freed themselves with a flick to shake off as much ashy residue that clung to him now. Pale locks draped over his eyes as his head was down for the moment, no matter how awkward it was, he was trying to brush himself off as best as he could as traces of it even fell from his hair altogether.

Without looking, he lurched forward just a little as his hands came up to cup Fang’s quickly, bringing it up just below his own chin. Liam braced his head against it while it lifted from his height hunker, tittering at the same time he held Fang’s hand still. “Am I still going to get scritches though?” He spoken curiously, eyeing him from beneath dusty bangs - he wasn’t expecting it the slightest but it was met with a docile smile.

      Human…Liam was neither right, nor wrong, so Fang only shrugged with a sort of half-smile that gave off the “who knows” vibe, left to interpretation. He had lied to everyone about the unsightly bump on his back and they were not able to prove its origins, so as far as the monitor was concerned, it was a birth defect until proven otherwise.

      He didn’t get to explain himself though when the sudden puff of smoke had him coughing and swatting away the dust that tried to intrusively seep into his lungs. The face he pulled must have looked amusing, as if he’d just bitten into a lemon while he sputtered away.

      ❝Flour…❞, he murmured while he patted himself down of it as well. At least he hadn’t gotten entirely covered in the stuff, but his attire was dark enough to make it show even if they were only subtle traces. 

      But once he rose his gaze and was met with the familiar sight, he froze up. The only part of him still moving was the quiver in his lips when he was about to stammer something, though he tripped over his own words in the beginning.

      ❝You– The– You’re the guy! From…the cafeteria. Aren’t you!?❞, he chimed in, a voice loud enough to wake the dead. His eyes were wide and glistening with excitement, but he didn’t manage to spew the rest of what he wanted to say when his hand was gingerly guided to Liam’s chin. His cheeks flared up instantly and he looked visibly more nervous when presented with such a request - people were different from other beings to him. Less easily approachable and it went both ways. Awkward as he felt to be doing that at all, he resisted the urge to yank his arm away and instead slowly moved his fingers in a similar fashion to before, tucking the scritches he desired under his jawline.

      ❝I suppose it’s fair…I didn’t get to pay you back for your kind gesture, so you can use my hand if it suits you–❞, he nodded with a perfectly straight face.

First ever blog

Well, Hi.... Not really sure where to start...

I have fairly recently moved to the South Island of New Zealand with my boyfriend and apart from him only know a couple of people. In an attempt to keep myself busy and to motivate me (as per the title I’m kinda of the lazy side) to get out and see more of this beautiful country, I thought I would start this blog. 

I am still new to the tramping (hiking for my Australian friends choosing to follow me). So for those of you with more experience or ideas would love to hear your feedback. For others who like myself weren’t sure where to start or what to do, I’ll be writing about some of my errors and success. I was lucky and was guided by a friend when I start who had a lot more experience.

This photo was taken on my first tramp on the St James Walkway which I will write about in my next blog.

Keep in mind that these ratings change over time with repeat listens. o 5.00 = Masterpiece o 4.50 = Classic o 4.25 = Excellent - Has enough to be more than Solid, but not quite close to Classic. This album quite possibly will be in rotation for years to come. o 4.00 = Solid - The album is something I'm going to listen to more than a few times and will probably stay in my rotation for the next few weeks/months. Only has a few missteps within the project. o 3.75 = Pretty Good - Many of the tracks I can get into but overall nothing great here. o 3.00 to 3.50 = OK to "Ehhh, whatever..." - The album might have a few stand-out tracks but that's it. o 2.25 to 3.00 = Mostly Garbage – If I’m lucky, I’ll find at least one 5-star 🔥 track so hopefully my time wasn’t wasted. o Below 2.00 = Pure Shit.
