Pioneering booking and talent agent Ruth Jean Bowen-Bryant was born on September 13, 1924. Ruth Jean Baskerville was born to Marion Baskerville and Claude Carlton on September 13, 1924, in Danville, Virginia. Her mother was African-American and French and her father was an English-born Irishman. She attended Westmoreland Elementary School and Langston High School in Danville before moving with her family to Brooklyn, New York, where she attended Girls' High School. She studied at New York University for two years before getting married. Bowen's musical journey began in 1944 when she met and married William "Billy" Bowen, one of the original Ink Spots, a group known as one of the first black entertainment acts to break the racial barrier. While traveling and handling her husband's business affairs, he introduced her to Dinah Washington, known as "Queen of the Blues." Soon after their first conversation, Dinah offered Bowen a job as her publicist. Bowen accepted and in no time she was handling the blues/R&B/jazz singer's publicity and management. Dinah insisted on Bowen obtaining her booking license and in 1959, with the help of her lawyer (former New York City Mayor David Dinkins), Bowen founded Queen Booking. Once established as an agent, her agency grew rapidly, with Dinah Washington as her best salesperson. As Dinah performed and traveled across the country, she met other artists that needed Bowen's expertise. In the beginning, Queen Booking started booking acts at the Howard Theatre in Washington D.C., the Apollo Theatre in Harlem and the Regal Theatre in Chicago. When Dinah Washington died in 1963, Queen Booking was only a few years old, but in 1964, Bowen expanded the business which became Queen Booking Corporation (QBC). The roster and staff grew, and in 1969, QBC had become the largest black-owned entertainment agency in the U.S. - if not the world - with a roster that included a who's who in entertainment including "The Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Sammy Davis Jr., The Isley Brothers, Dionne Warwick, The Four Tops, Kool and the Gang, Bobby Womack, Teddy Pendergrass, and a host of other top black singing stars. https://www.instagram.com/p/B2Xa5LAlLxf/?igshid=1835urchn0bvj

In a series of early-morning raids against the South Vietnamese city of Quangtri, enemy forces freed 200 to 300 Government-held prisoners. Sources in the field said that 300 South Vietnamese soldiers and at least 8 Americans had been killed in the fighting.
In a move that was part of an effort to strengthen United States military forces in South Vietnam, the White House announced the apointment of Gen. Creighton W. Abrams Jr., as second in command of American forces there. The choice of a full general to replace a lieutenant general as second in command heightened speculation that General Abrams would succeed the commander, Gen. William C. Westmoreland.
In Washington, the Administration also announced plans to set up three field hospitals in South Vietnam as an emergency measure to treat the most critical cases of civilian war casualties among Vietnamese. The move appeared to have been taken in part because of rising Congressional and private concern about such casualties.
Nearing the end of his diplomatic mission, Vice President Humphrey received his warmest welcome thus far. Tens of thousands turned out in Berlin to watch him pass in a well-guarded motorcade. In a speech to the West Berlin House of Representatives, Mr. Humphrey linked the continuing freedom of West Berlin with the struggle to maintain the “integrity” of South Vietnam.
In London, the Government reported the beginnings of an economic upswing. The Treasury reported that unemployment was rising at a slower rate and that car sales and house building had built up.
American space planners have chosen eight potential landing sites on the moon for manned Apollo craft. Detailed study of recent moon photographs indicated that the eight locations along the moon’s equator were the smoothest and safest possible sites for manned landings.

Apollo’s progeny: Today’s space entrepreneurs still standing on the moonshot’s shoulders
This article originally appeared in the July 29, 2019 issue of SpaceNews magazine.
Tim Pickens has vivid memories of Project Apollo. Growing up in Huntsville, Alabama, where his father worked at Redstone Arsenal, Pickens recalls his father explaining why their home windows were vibrating. Saturn V was undergoing testing nearby.
“My passion to get us back to the moon and beyond has driven me really hard for the last 25 years,” said the founder and chief executive of Pickens Innovations, a Huntsville aerospace hardware, engineering, research and development company.
Pickens designed the propulsion system for Burt Rutan’s SpaceShipOne, founded Orion Propulsion, a Huntsville company he sold in 2009 to Dynetics, a science and information technology company also based in Huntsville. Pickens is also a veteran of two Google Lunar X Prize teams: the Rocket City Space Pioneers and Moon Express.
“Making space affordable has been the driving force as long as I can remember,” Pickens said by email.
The Apollo program and 1969 moon landing inspired many of the entrepreneurs working to send people and robotic vehicles back to the moon or to pave the way for further space exploration and commerce. Some of them clearly remember the grainy black and white images broadcast around the world. Others were stirred by the pictures they saw and stories they heard years later.
Grant Anderson, president, chief executive and co-founder of Paragon Space Development Corp., a Tucson, Arizona, company that specializes in life support and thermal control systems, was influenced by Apollo 11 and the 1970 debut of the Boeing 747 commercial jet.
Anderson recalls watching the moon landing and Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the lunar surface on a black and white television in his Iowa living room with his mother and siblings when he was six years old. At the time, Anderson’s father was working in Saigon. He was a foreign service officer on U.S. Army Gen. William Westmoreland’s staff.
“Really what Apollo and the space program as a whole did is open my eyes to what can be done when a group sets their sights on an ‘impossible’ goal and works toward it,” Anderson said by email. “The demolition of the assets (Saturn V especially) also showed me what could be done in the wrong way.”
Astrobotic Technology CEO John Thornton, center, was born a decade after Apollo 17 but says the moon landings set precedent for his Pittsburgh-based company’s effort to create a lunar delivery service. Credit:
Paragon specializes in life support and thermal control technology. In June, Paragon and Giner Inc., an electrochemical research and development company based in Newton, Massachusetts, announced a NASA contract to develop and test technology to purify deposits of water on the moon and to generate oxygen and hydrogen in-situ.
John Thornton, chief executive of Astrobotic Technology, a lunar logistics company based in Pittsburgh, wasn’t yet born when the lunar module first touched down in the Sea of Tranquility. Still, he sees Apollo as an important precedent for Astrobotic’s effort to create a lunar delivery service. “A lot of the Apollo technologies are the same ones that will get us to the moon again 50 years after Apollo,” Thornton said.
Astrobotic spun out of Carnegie Mellon University in 2007 to compete for the Google Lunar X Prize, a competition promising a $20 million grand prize to the first commercial team to send a vehicle to the moon capable of traveling 500 meters and sending back pictures and video. Although the competition ended in 2018 without a winner, Astrobotic remains committed to its moonshot.
NASA announced awards in May to Astrobotic, Intuitive Machines and OrbitBeyond to carry as many as 23 payloads to the surface of the moon on three commercial missions scheduled for launch between September 2020 and July 2021.
Following Apollo’s example, Astrobotic is preparing to deploy multiple payloads on each lunar lander. Left on the lunar surface, some of the Apollo instruments continued to operate for months or years.
Astrobotic won a $79.5 million NASA contract in May to send 14 payloads to the moon in its Peregrine lunar lander in July 2021. Astrobotic has orders to carry 15 additional payloads on the spacecraft for various government and commercial customers.
Born in Germany in 1968, Audacy CEO Ralph Ewig is too young to recall live Apollo 11 coverage. Still, one of his earliest memories is seeing astronauts on the lunar surface.
“It had a lasting impact on me in making the connection between math, sciences and human exploration,” Ewig said by email. “The accomplishments of Apollo motivated me to pursue a university degree in physics with the ultimate goal of applying to the NASA astronaut program.”
After moving to the United States in 1992, Ewig obtained a Ph.D. in aeronautics and astronautics at the University of Washington. He applied to the astronaut corps in 2007.
“I was not selected in the end, but the desire to explore and push humanity’s boundaries stayed with me,” Ewig said. “It still drives me today to contribute my abilities in any way I can towards the goal of expanding the human presence in space.”
Ewig worked for Andrews Space, SpaceX and Aerojet Rocketdyne before founding Audacy in 2015 to build a commercial space data relay network.
Planet co-founder Will Marshall, also born after the Apollo program, said the San Francisco-based company’s founders were influenced by one of Apollo’s iconic images.
“The Blue Marble shot from Apollo 17 hugely inspired us,” Marshall said by email. “It made us think specifically about the fragility of the Earth and the need to take care of it. Planet is a continuation of that vector, from awareness towards action.”
Planet captures daily images of Earth with a fleet of satellites in low Earth orbit. The firm’s motto is “See Change, Change the World.”

Like father, like son
A passion for space technology runs in Tim Pickens’s family. Herman Leon Pickens, Tim’s father, was an engineer and inventor who designed and analyzed circuits for NASA’s Saturn 5 rocket ground support equipment while working for Sperry Rand Corp.’s Space Support Division in Huntsville, Alabama, from 1965 to 1972. Herman Pickens was still working on space technology when he died in 2016 at the age of 83.
“To this day when they light rocket engines, they are using a device that he designed and built from his home shop to provide the spark to light the engines,” Tim Pickens said by email. NASA Marshall Space Flight Center relied on Herman Pickens’ exciter in 2016 when testing an advanced upper stage engine fueled by liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen to provide 35,000 pounds of thrust.
The engine was tested over 10 times, including in heavy rain and the exciter worked every time, Jason Turpin, NASA Marshall Liquid Engine Systems Branch chief, said in a May 2016 letter to the Pickens family. “Although we suffered issues with instrumentation and valve control, Herman’s exciter worked perfectly and provided reliable ignition,” Turpin wrote.
Earlier this year, Tim Pickens learned of another large rocket engine tested with help from his father’s exciter. “Even after his passing, he is still alive through the technology that exist at Marshall Space Flight Center,” Tim Pickens said.
Herman Pickens was a U.S. Navy electrician before a lengthy career that included jobs with Philco, McDonnell Aircraft Corp. and RCA Corp.
“In later years he would go to work for me and be my most brilliant engineer,” Tim Pickens said.

Public Schools in Need of Prayer and Missionaries
"I am much afraid that schools will prove to be the great gates of hell unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of youth. I advise no one to place his child where the scriptures do not reign paramount. Every institution in which men are not increasingly occupied with the Word of God must become corrupt." - Martin Luther
1. In Need of Prayer
Since 1962 the Supreme Court is heading down this culturally corrosive anti-prayer path. Among others, the High School sports events have been on target. Those events usually start with the national anthem and then a prayer that goes over the loudspeakers. These invocations to Almighty God often include a supplication for fair sportsmanship. This truly is needed in today's corrupt, money-mad world of sports.
The author gladly remembers a High School football game in Westmoreland, TN. It was the first football game I ever attended. It was a wonderful thing and, most of all, I appreciate that they still kept praying. My spirit was moved when I heard people pray and saw the football players bow their head. This is the way it ought to be. NO PRAY, NO PLAY!
The hypocrisy of the Supreme Court's anti-prayer obsession becomes apparent when it is compared to the court's approval of many anti-biblical and morally depraved school policies. That point was underscored on September 1st when, prior to the school's first home football game of the season, Principal Jody McLoud of ROANE COUNTY PRIMARY AND HIGH SCHOOL in KINGSTON, TENNESSEE, read a brief statement over the public address system. Here is what he had to say:
"It has always been the custom at Roane County High School football games to say a prayer and play the National Anthem to honor God and Country. Due to a recent ruling by the Supreme Court, I am told that saying a prayer is a violation of Federal Case Law. As I understand the law at this time, I can use this public facility to approve of sexual perversion and call it an alternate lifestyle and if someone is offended, that's okay. I can use it to condone sexual promiscuity by dispensing condoms and call it safe sex. If someone is offended, that's okay. I can even use this public facility to present the merits of killing an unborn baby as a viable means of birth control. If someone is offended, no problem. I can designate a school day as earth day and involve students in activities to religiously worship and praise the goddess, Mother Earth, and call it ecology. I can use literature, videos and presentations in the classrooms that depict people with strong, traditional, Christian convictions as simple-minded and ignorant and call it enlightenment. However, if anyone uses this facility to honor God and ask Him to bless this event with safety and good sportsmanship, Federal Case Law is violated/ This appears to be at best, inconsistent and at worst, hypocritical. Apparently, we are to be tolerant of everything and everyone except God and His Commandments. Nevertheless, as a school principal, I frequently ask staff and students to abide by rules with which they do not necessarily agree. For me to do otherwise would be, at best, inconsistent and at worst, hypocritical. I suffer from that affliction enough unintentionally. I certainly do not need to add an intentional transgression. For this reason, I shall, "render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's," and refrain from praying at this time. However, if you feel inspired to honor, praise and thank God, and ask Him in the name of Jesus to bless this event, please feel free to do so. As far as I know, that's not against the law yet."
Principal McLoud aptly summarized the dilemma that he and other educators face as they strive to cope with the increasingly anti-Christian tropism of our government schools. Asked about the response to his comments, he said that most of those in attendance, including members of both teams, "were appreciative, and... responded with applause." Asked if there were any boos, he recalled, "No. None whatsoever," adding that the "responses that I've gotten from all over the country... have been overwhelmingly positive." Indeed, of the 300-500 communications he had received, only four or five were negative in tone..
The New School Prayer
Now I sit me down in school where praying is against the rule. For this great nation under God finds mention of Him very odd. If Scripture now the class recites, it violates the Bill of Rights. And anytime my head I bow becomes a Federal matter now. Our hair can be purple, orange or green, that's no offense; it's a freedom scene. The law is specific, the law is precise. Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice. For praying in a public hall, might offend someone with no faith at all. In silence alone we must meditate, God's name is prohibited by the state. We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks, and pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks. They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible. To quote the Good Book makes me liable. We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen, and the 'unwed daddy' our Senior King. It's "inappropriate" to teach right from wrong. We're taught that such "judgments" do not belong. We can get our condoms and birth control, study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles. But the Ten Commandments are not allowed, it's scary here I must confess, when chaos reigns the school's a mess. So, Lord, this silent plea I make: Should I be shot; My soul please take! Amen!

2. In Need of Missionaries
If God calls missionaries to far away countries, do you think He is unable to send a missionary to a public school in the US? I would like to ask every Christian school student: Have you been born again? If you have been born again, has the Lord ever put on your heart to take a stand for Him at school? Is the Lord calling you to be an ambassador for Christ at your school?
While many Christian families homeschool their children, there are still many Christian students in public school. Those should think of themselves as "Missionaries to the Public School Systems". They can use class discussions to proclaim Biblical views. They can use debate classes to speak up for Christ, for the word of God, etc. That what Apollos did in Acts 18:24-28. They can use writing assignments to research subjects according to the Bible and back it up with data from Christian publications, organizations, etc. If you are a student at a public school, have you ever prayed and asked the Lord for wisdom how to turn a situation in school into a witnessing opportunity? You can witness in so many ways! Here are some suggestions:
Modest apparel.
You can already witness for Christ with the way you dress. In schools many teenagers dress in very worldly and lust-provoking ways. They are addicted to brand-name clothes. Their hair looks untidy and weird. If you, as a child of God, come to school in a clean and modest appearance, they will know the difference. Click here to read up on modest apparel. It doesn't matter whether your school has a dress code or not. The Bible has a dress code. As a guideline I give you the dress code of a church camp. "No shorts anytime. Boys must wear decent pants and shirts. Girls must wear modest dresses or skirts (below the knee). No sleeveless tops, no jeans, no inappropriate slits, no tight fits. For appropriate activities, boys may wear sweatpants and girls may wear below the knee culottes, capris, or wind pants."
Teach your teacher!
Public schools are full of wrong or antichristian teachings. As a Christian you know that you don't really have to pay attention to evolution, sex education or attempts to rewrite America's history and strip it from Christian heritage. First of all, when it comes to sex education, try to leave the class. Walk out. It is offensive, wicked, opposed to your belief in chastity, temperance and marriage. Provide other students with tracts or information material that gives the Biblical perspective on that issue. Be prepared to stand up and tell your teacher that you disagree with him. Be ready to give him an answer. Read 1 Peter 3:15! Yes, you can teach your teacher. The teacher is not an all-wise god. He is only human. Modern public school teachers are often leaning toward the left, toward liberalism and through the NEA they are indoctrinated in radical antichristian thought.
Assignment: Read Psalm 119:97-104. Question: What does it say about your teacher when it comes to Bible issues?
Your answer: ________________________________
Here is a situation I faced in my school. The teacher gave us a text with a news report. The news report was about a conservative politician who compared the number of abortions with the Holocaust. As a politically correct teacher he was outraged by the article and our homework was to write a comment about the politician's "inappropriate" statement. So when I was home I grabbed some pro-life literature I got earlier from a Christian ministry and wrote an essay that gives the exact numbers of aborted babies in the US since 1973. I described the brutal procedure of abortions in detail. I added pictures of aborted babies. I closed with the statement that I fully support the politician's statement because of the evidence I provided. I gave a short statement about legislative work to put an end to legalized abortion on demand. The number of US abortions outreach the number of Holocaust victims by far. I got to read my homework in school. The teacher was outraged and flabbergasted because I presented the Christian pro-life perspective. I backed it up with scripture, evidence and photos! That was powerful! I hope you get many opportunities like that!
Exposing Evolution
You can really start teaching your teacher and classmates when it comes to evolution. If you are saved and live a Christian life, you have come to believe in the Biblical account of creation. No amount of public school teaching can change you, influence you or get you to change your mind. Your primary allegiance is to Jesus Christ. Not to public school. You have come to put more confidence in your pastor than in your teacher. I was really blessed by a gospel tract that tells about a professor who thought we came from monkeys, until a student proved evolution was a lie. That student can be YOU. That tract is available here: Big Daddy, Jack Chick.
Here are some other suggestions for student missionaries to public schools:
Invite students to meetings at your church.
Give students and teachers gospel tracts.
Stay away from bad people. Turn away. Don't listen to them.
Don't be forced into a clique. Resist group or peer pressure. Be independent. Dare to be different. As Christians we are separated.
Stay away from the drug, rock and rap subculture. Iwould rather listen to the roar of a jet engine than worldly music. If someone were to offer me drugs, I'd turn the person immediately over to the police. I never had one desirem craving or not the least thought of getting into that. I just said NO just like former President Reagan suggested.
Refuse to participate in occult activities such as meditation, yoga, etc.
Make your local church a priority. Not school clubs, associations, etc. All this is for selfish vainglory anyway.
Christians do not participate nor endorse such foolish school activities such as dance, cheerleading, dating, making an idol out of sports, etc. That's not what it's about. You live for Jesus and all you do at school is learn. The rest is a waste of time.
When students can suggest what kind of books can be read during lessons, suggest Christian books. Same goes for music!
If you can, eat breakfast & lunch at home. We don't need to be locked up in a school compound all day like a bunker.
When you can choose a destination for a field trip, suggest a Christian monument or historic site.
Tell other students or teachers about this website.
Remember the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22,23. Let the other students pick some fruit off you. The fruit of the Spirit are not only for you to enjoy, but mainly for the Lord and for others around you.
If you are not busy (maybe because a class was cancelled) use the time to study your Bible.
Use writing assignments to refine your Christian writing skills. Use your pen as a sharp sword of truth. Eph. 6:18. If you have to make a speech, speak up for Jesus.
In history classes, try to point to quotes from America's founders that profess faith in God.
Join the work of Child Evangelism Fellowship or Good News Club and other school based discipleship groups.
Create a demand for righteousness. Bringing prayer and Bible reading is not a demand of right-wing politicians. You the student must demand it urgently and persistenly and consistently. You want to see fellow students saved and get out of the worldliness. You demand school prayer. You demand creation. You demand intelligent design. You demand abstinence education. It's a marketplace of ideas controlled by supply and demand. Are you demanding the things of God?
And if you ever need to use a Webster's dictionary at school, I suggest you use the original Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary which has its definitions taken from a Biblical worldview. Today's dictionaries are from a humanistic standpoint. It really helps define words for their real meaning. That might be crucial in school. Try to get this dictionary: Webster's 1828 dictionary.
These are just a few suggestions of what a missionary to the public schools can do. If you are prayerful, you might find many, many more suggestions. Parents, churches and Christian organizations and ministries try to change schools, but as of now there is an antichristian onslaught in America's public schools. The examples are too numerous to mention. The free expression of faith is being suppressed. But the real key to impacting the schools for Christ is the student. The Christian student who will no longer compromise. The Christian student who will take a stand. The Christian student who wants to be a warrior for Christ rather than a wimp. The Christian student who will say goodbye to dead Sunday-morning churchianity, but will rather live for the Lord seriously 24/7 with the word of God as his final authority. The Christian student who will not allow himself to be brought under the power of liberal lies, secularism, humanistic deception and wicked peer pressure. It's all about putting Christ first!
Dear Christian student,
is the Lord calling you to the mission field of America's public school system? If Christ really lives within you, then He goes with you when you go to school every morning. Go into all the world and preach the gospel unto every creature. Have you ever prayed for the mission field of the public schools? You don't have to go to China, India or Malawi. You might have to go to your school and introduce Christ to the multitudes of the lost students and teachers. Rescue the perishing! How will you answer the call?

"Gone A Lead" new single of the full length album Dancehall Chronicles available everywhere May 2017 twitter.com www.facebook.com www.instagram.com... soundcloud.com Mr Easy is a man over-flowing with music and melodies that deal with the more harmonious aspects of life and living. He was born in the verdant, undulating hills of the Cockpit Country. The transition at the age of ten, for this country boy, to the cold, gray streets of New York City was not an easy rite of passage. Mr. Easy, who was named for his laid back and easy demeanor faced an awkward transition to New York being Jamaican born, yet of African heritage, something which always seems to create a dilemma of the soul. However, it wasn't long before he settled into this new lifestyle and started helping "Sir Noel" set up his sound system. Easy joined the crew of DJ's and experimented with some of the lyrics that he had been writing since he first went to high school. He soon began performing at places like the Starlight Ballroom and singing songs made popular by Dennis Brown. After an introduction to a record producer, Barry, he hit the studios to record a cover version of the Isley Brother's hit "Caravan Of Love". Mr. Easy played and studied hard in the Big Apple, thereby gaining a wealth of experiences in a relatively short space of time. He cites Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Gladys Knight as well as Erik B and Rakim among his major musical influences. As a youth his dream was to conquer the crowd at New York City's famous Apollo Theatre while nearly every solo singer that ventured onto that stage was booed off. Mr. Easy was more than successful. Easy recounts how Sidney Mills, the keyboard player from Steel Pulse, helped him to write "Just Be A Lady" and how he sang out for all he was worth. The crowd went wild, they didn't boo they clapped and cheered. Easy received congratulations and encouragement from people like Patti LaBelle and Quincy Jones. The result of this early success was a record deal with Motown Records and the release of Mr. Easy's first album. Extensive touring of the United States, Japan and the Caribbean followed with fellow Jamaican artists such as; Beres Hammond, Shinehead, Red Fox and Shaggy. It was while he was working on his never to be released second album for Warner Brothers with Mickey Bennett that he met Dave Kelly and a long-term alliance was formed. At that time there seemed to be a need to win over a homeland audience that is like none other in the world. For a Jamaican, you could have conquered the globe, but if you've never had a major hit in the homeland - you just haven't truly made it. Easy feels that the experiences of performing and recording in New York combined with maintaining a working base in Jamaica has enabled a crystallization of ideas to take place where he can let his creativity shine. Since dedicating himself to years of recording with top producers like Dave Kelly, the melodic quality of Mr. Easy's voice has been in much demand. Songs like; "Mi Haffi Stop" on the Showtime riddim, "Man Ah Say A Who" on the Rae Rae riddim, "Funny Man" on the Joyride riddim, "Freaky Lady" on the Juice Riddim, "Herbs Haffi Bun" on the Intercourse riddim, "After All" on the Thunder riddim, "Haters" on the Orgasm riddim, "Oil Up" on the Triology riddim featuring General Degree all helped to solidify Mr. Easy as one of the top 15 artists to voice. Mr. Easy's smooth flow allowed him to take a new musical direction with songs like; "Up And Down" featuring Sean Paul on the Two Hard label and "Freaky Kind Of Lady" produced by Richard Browne on the 'Call Me Shams' label. As well as "I'll Always Be There", a lovers rock tune on the Rockaway riddim and "Heavenly" produced by Beres Hammond for the Harmony House Label. For a brief period of time Easy focused on Lovers Rock releases that allowed him to expand as an artist and vocally. In order to maintain a positive focus from time to time, Mr. Easy gets out of Kingston City by taking a drive out to 'Peter Tosh' country in Westmoreland where he cools out by the river. He says that many of his songs are written in settings that are calm and natural, as he likes to get away from the noise and brashness that is often associated with city living. He feels that living in Jamaica has enabled him to tap into a revitalizing energy source that will enable him to make that quantum leap into a positive future. Easy states that, "the songs I write will endure forever, even when I am not here." Every generation needs its classics as they form a legacy for future generations. In addition, often times he sits down with long time musical brethren Red Fox (a phenomenal Dancehall deejay) to add an edge to much of his material as the two have co-written a number of songs including the exciting tune "Sweet Love" on the upbeat Juicy rhythm produced by Mr. Doo, responsible for Jr. Reid's huge...
