*it was a normal day for the apocalyptic separated child au leo was with donnie who was in his lab at the time raph was training mikey was with his dads*

(leo) hey donnie what are you building?

(donnie) a portal gun

(leo) wait can't I make portals?

(donnie) why yes you can my dear but this is no normal portal gun it can make portals to alternate universes

(leo) ... oh I get it

(Donnie) great go tell Raph I need him ok

(leo) ok

*with Raph*

(Leo) Raph Raph

(Raph) yes

(Leo) donnie needs you

(Raph) oh ok I'll be there in a bit

(Leo) ok

*5 minutes later*

*In donnies lab*

(Leo) I got him

(Donnie) thank you leo

(Raph) so what did you need?

(donnie) oh I just wanted to show you my new invitation

(raph) oh ok

*donnie shot the gun at the wall making a portal mikey happens to hear it and rushed to see what the noise was*

(mikey) what was that

(Donnie) do not worry about it Michael

(mikey) is that a portal?

(donnie) why yes it is a portal to another wold

(Mikey) that sounds so cool

(Donnie) I will now go through the portal

*as donnie went through the portal he saw a desert in the distance he saw a turtle on a sand dune as the turtle came closer he became more and more curious about it*

(aotm donnie) who are you

(asca donnie) I'm you from another world

(aotm donnie) wait alternate universes exist

(Asca donnie) yes they do

(Aotm donnie) I have so many questions

I was just drawing silly sketches for Cass' AU and when I got to April it struck me that seeing her again might be well, kind of rough for Donnie.

Wonder if it was the first time he realised even after everything he's done, there's some things you just can't bring back.
