okay I'm going to ask. has anyone here heard of His Dark Materials? because I'm fascinated by the idea of an aot daemon au and I want someone to talk about it with ahjadgfskg I don't know completely how it would work tbh. how would the Scouts go fight titans with daemons? do they just take them with them? what happens to a person's daemon when they turn into a titan? because this could have helped the people inside the walls figure out instantly that the titans are transformed humans in a sense, if they kept their daemons. or alternatively, if a person's daemon dies when they turn into a titan, what about titans turning back to humans, like titan shifters or a post-rumbling scenario - would they just get their daemons back somehow? what animal would each character have? would the people inside the walls have more knowledge on outside world animals purely because of the existence of such daemons?

so this is really just a broad possible passing maybe thot but I'm watching Killing Eve and in love and wondering if I would ever write a fic following the exact (with slight alterations) storyline but for one of my fave ships.
