The fel scyring eye was waiting outside the door as she left the barracks, bobbing up to stare at them eye level. "Commander, what luck to run into you here." The echo of a now familiar voice said. "Are you interested in a small opportunity?"

The presence of the fel eye had caused some initial alarm for the Commander, which was followed with a visible twitch of ears going upright. Though the same couldn't be said to the other guardsmen or Forsaken residing in the area. It seemed the eye had been there for some time, waiting on her to emerge from her place of borrowed refuge.

"Luck isn't the first word I'd choose, but you have my attention, Lord Felscythe." She then adjusted her stance slightly and gave a glance to the area around her before looking towards the unsettling green and floating eye for further explanation.

"And... what does this 'small' opportunity entail...?"

Do you think the OG production of Elisabeth das musical is too camp?I was watching it for the first time yesterday, and NGL I thought alot of the sets, costume, blocking with a bit overthe top.Is there a reason for that?Also what's up with the vines on everyone's clothes?

I've never gotten the feeling that it's camp at all. I love that there's multiple big set pieces, but I personally really don't like minimalist set design so. We just have different opinions. I don't think there's some deeper reason as to why the sets are so extravagant other than they were just trying to do nice, interesting set design and I assume the ornate-ness to everything is due to it being about an Empress. And to me so many of the set pieces add depth to the story, for example Death's carriage folding out into Rudolf's bedroom being for shadowing to what's going to happen to Rudolf.

There is actually a reason for the vines on the majority of character's costumes. The entire musical is a recounting of events for Lucheni's trial in the underworld. Everyone who has vines is part of this re-telling, you could see that as them all already being dead and forced to reenact their lives, being controlled, etc. Lucheni doesn't have vines on his clothing as he exists outside of this retelling, being the narrator and constantly breaking the forth wall. Der Tod also has no vines on his clothing either.

the broach worn on his chest in the original costume design? if you mean that one, it's a diamond shape. and then as for what's inside? it's hard to tell. i did random lines on my own (i sculpted one out of polymer clay) but now that you've said flower i can totally see the shape in there as a flower, a small circle in the middle with 5 petals. i never noticed that before.

i personally use the sim hygiene mod by adeepindigo. i also used to use slice of life back in the day. i don't use it anymore but it's still a great mod.

*sorry i don't have a lot of recs to give. i try to keeps my mods folder as simple as possible these days, so most of my health mods are just rpo and adeepindigo mods.

i'm not sure where to take this but my favorite occult modder for YEARS started being transphobic awhile ago and is a full blown TERF now and it makes me extremely upset because her content used to be so good. i wish more people did occult mods and zero didn't have the whole ass market for vampires.

Zero is a fucking trainwreck, I don't know what's going on over there but each new post is more and more unhinged. I sympathize though, it's so disappointing when some who creates stuff you like turns out so... gross for lack of a better word. (there's a lot of words I could use but im trying to be nice).

While I don't have any vampire reqs (you're right, they really do have most of the mods), for anything else occult I love sp-creates' mods. They have expanded merfolk + werewolves, faeries and witchy overhauls.

I found this creator, however I have not used any of their mods so I cannot vouch for how well they work.

Big agree on occult modding. I'd love to see expanded aliens or more fun vampire stuff. Perhaps one day I will learn to mod.

Hornet got few chances to train with the Great Knights, but of the Five, her favorite was Ze'mer. A fellow outsider whose customs and habits were noticeably different than those of most Palace occupants, as well as a formidable warrior whose skills were renowned throughout Hallownest, Hornet enjoyed testing herself against Ze'mer and earning the knight's rare, soft-spoken praise.

♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon

Hornet never learned the full spectrum of textile magic the Weavers used, but most of her magic is silk-based and sewing is definitely a treasured skill of hers. She doesn't really allow herself to have hobbies until the Infection is banished, but once it is, she begins to expand her skills beyond the purely practical. She finds that she enjoys making things beautiful as well as functional, especially reconstructing and incorporating designs from the relics of her own culture (some of which have magical significance she's only beginning to unravel.)

♒ - cooking/food headcanon

Hornet rarely cooks for herself; she sees little need when she gets plenty of nutrition from her raw kills. Some of her favorite things to hunt are young baldurs, whose outer shell protects a succulent interior. She doesn't go out of her way to catch them, though. Food is food, and she has more important things to do.

I had download it before it got taken down, including ripping the subtitles, so I've now uploaded the video and subtitles onto the Internet Archive for streaming and downloading: https://archive.org/details/rudolf-affaire-mayerling-act-1-hd-with-english-subs

And I'm also noticing Mozart das Musical things being hit on Youtube lately (had to edit out all the Mozart clips from 'european musicals being gay for 30 minutes" video as it got blocked worldwide for the Mozart clips) so a reminder I've had the proshot with subtitles on the Internet Archive for a couple years now. Someone commented about whether or not I got hit for any Elisabeth clips yet, I haven't, I don't know if anyone else has.

But I have a bunch of proshots with English subtitles on the Internet Archive as a backup in case they ever get taken down off Youtube. Of course I support purchasing copies of the proshots, however I want to back these up because most of the subtitles for these proshots are fanmade and not official, and when these videos with fanmade subtitles are taken off Youtube we could lose the subtitles, and sometimes the only English translation of the musical, forever. And I don't want those translations lost.

I didn't save the username of who uploaded the HD Rudolf proshot with subtitles on Youtube to be able to credit them as the subtitle creator so if anyone remembers or know the name please do let me know so I can add that credit on there.

Sorry for the question but, what is a endo? I saw in so many DID/system/plural quotes about bring anti-endo but idk what it is...

An endogenic system is a system that wasn't formed from trauma.

'Endo' is the short term for 'endogenic', and can be used as both a noun and an adjective. (eg. "I am an endo.", "I am endo." "I am an endo system."), however it is more commonly used in the noun form.

Somebody who is anti endo does not believe that systems can form without trauma.

Also, there are a few related terms that you may need:

Willogenic system - a system that was created or willed into existence [endogenic]

Protogenic system - a system who has always been a system/their system has existed since birth [endogenic]

Quoigenic system - a system who does not know their origin, does not care about their origin, or does not wish to share their origin

Stressgenic system - a system formed from trauma

Sysmed - a term that describes somebody who believes that all systems must be disordered, or must have a CDD (OSDD, DID). 【Some find this term to be offensive, although we never quite researched why.】

There are many other terms, but these are some things we were confused about when we first settled into the community!
