Hi !! I was wondering, is it possible for emotions to transfer to other headmates ?? for example M ( using letters instead of our names ) had been watching some videos he found really funny, and was basically feeling really joyful and all that, but when A co fronted kinda to remind him to go eat, she suddenly was also really happy and just started laughing along. even though usually those videos wouldn't be funny at all ?? and she still didn't find the videos funny, but was still really fucking yk humourful .. this also happens with other emotions like sadness etc, but it only seems to happen so strongly with M ( host / core btw ), and not with the others ??
Just wondering if there is a term for that or if this is, something common and whatnot. :D
There’s not a term for it, but having your emotions bounce off headmates and get amplified is a relatively common experience!

Is therwe a term for headmates that all share the same memories, but are distinctly different peoples?
Yes! This is called low amnesia barriers, and it’s something I experience as well!

Yeah! This is called having low amnesia barriers, where a system experiences almost no dissociative amnesia between switches in fronting. Our system experiences it as well! Hope this helps anon!
I'm a newly discovered system and I had a question with memory. For example, I'll be fronting and learn something about the system, but when I switch, the other part also knows what I learned. As far as I can tell, not all memories are transferred like this, but anything has to do with system stuff. Is this a normal (for lack of a better term) thing?
i'm sure it's something others experience, anyone reading this wanna share?

Is there a term for when one headmate specifically experiences ASPD?
Not that I know of, but if you find one please let me know because we have the same issue.

what would a headmate/alter be called if they experience more emotion than the host ? for example , if the host if feeling happy , that alter is feeling ecstatic?
Not sure, but we have a headmate that we refer to as an emotional dampener, so you could try using emotional amplifier if you think that would help.

how do i confirm im a plural
Isn’t that the million dollar question. Well, most plurals still suffer from impostor syndrome even post syscovery, but a few ways to help confirm plurality might be:
1) Try to trigger a front switch. Think about times when you think you may have switched, and the events and feelings around that time. Recreating these circumstances might trigger a front switch, which can present as dissociation, feeling like someone else is controlling your body, or amnesia episodes.
2) Recognize amnesia. Try and see if there are any unexplained time periods where you can’t remember what happened. Ask the people who were or might have been present if they remember you acting out of character for any stretches of time.
4) Keeping track of anything you might deem as a sign of plurality. Use a physical journal, SimplyPlural, your notes app, or another.
Sorry if this isn’t much help, I’m just spitballing what helped me find my headmates. Good luck with your plurality journey!

Thanks, @the--cosmic-voids--system for the sources!
is there a term for headmates that are the personification or embodiment of an emotion or aesthetic?
for example, we have a headmate that is the embodiment of anxiety—but fin isn’t necessarily an anxiety holder.
the only term that seems to fit is archetive, but none of my headmates are introjects, so that wouldn’t really work…
It doesn’t look like it, sorry!

Introject. Methinks.

Is there a term for a Headmate that causes chaos in Headspace, and could cause chaos in the real world (if supervised would be harder, but still may be destructive in any form - especially for other people)?
This may be a persecutor or a prosecutor, however we wish there were a bit more information!

My bad, the reblog formatted strangely. Here is the link!
is there a term for when one headmate is always at least co-front?? not frontstuck, and definitely not the host, but hes always hanging around front.
-raph
(thats me by the way, hello. -judge)
It depends on if they are doing this voluntarily, because if not, then they would classify as frontstuck. Otherwise, it doesn’t look like it.

can a headmate have a different condition than the body?
Ex: the body has adhd (it affects one/some/all ppl. you get it), but one alter/headmate is autistic.
does it mean the body is also? can it be like that? is this valid? ugh so many questionss
This (surprisingly) does have a term, and it's called parabled!
This specifically is known as neurotive.

is there a term for when the host is frontstuck and can only talk with the gatekeeper? (weird, i know--)
This sounds similar to front sealed, where a frontstuck headmate is unable to talk to the rest of the system.
