Ok so, you know how Cody can befriend Anything with minimal effort? Literally anything no matter how violent or grumpy. Hear me out. Cody takes a field trip to the main land for school and makes a new friend. They stay pen pals and email and/or call eachother every day. The Burns and Bots are glad Cody has a friend! Up until he asks if he can go visit then and when asked where his friend lives, without even blinking Cody says, "he lives in Gothem."

Meanwhile the Bats are simply happy that Damian has a Normal Civilian Friend who he met on a school trip.

Imagine all the conversations they could have. They both love animals, both can only interact with nonhumans, both are just kids who want to help their families (one would kill if necessary), and their parents are model figures who protect their homes.

I know that Damian does go to school and he is the ¨weird kid¨ or ¨ teacher's pet¨ depending on the situation, and tho he can quickly adapt to people, Cody is a whole different case.

Cody looks like a normal kid, a simple kid like everyone else. The kid just talks about how he wants to be a Rescue worker, how proud he is of his family, and how eager he is to grow up. Damian starts thinking that Cody is just a people pleaser with no real goal more than to make his family proud... really just... just something like him...

People are at times weirder out when he is around. Cody has learned to pick out those feelings people have towards him and has quickly learned how to identify when someone is lying/hiding something.

So when he picks up how Damian is feeling, Cody quickly picks up the fact that Damian hates to be close to strangers, but not with animals. So Cody starts the conversation with animals, at least something to make Damian comfortable. What he doesn't know is that Damian can also easily read people.

So both are in this non-batle to see who has the upper hand on... who knows more about worms?? How did the conversation begin? IDK. But both are enjoying each other company so is a start.

When the trip ends Damian asks for Cody's number, email, social media, or anything to keep talking BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T FINISH! And Cody says yes.

TW FOR SUICIDE, MURDER, ADDICTION, SUBSTANCE ABUSE.

kirk canonically struggled with an addiction to the man-bat serum. his overuse of the serum is how fable ended up with those abilities straight up in her dna. she was a toddler the first time she transformed, attacking both her parents in a confused panic. eventually kirk was able to calm the child, but it was a wake up call that things had gone too far. he reached out to batman for help in researching a cure, as the hero had developed the initial reversal serum. but nothing worked, and fable's abilities were deemed untreatable. so training began to help her gain control over the transformation. she took to it far better than either of the langstrom's ever had, showing no signs of the loss of self and hostility that her parents had suffered as a side effect of the serum. kirk, for his part, stayed clean for years. but he could only live vicariously through his child for so long.

fable was 12 the first time her father relapsed. it lasted about a week, ending with francince leaving him and taking their daughter with her. it was this event that would begin a downward spiral for kirk langstrom. another 6 years of sobriety for the sake of visitation, and he found himself turning once more to the man-bat serum. perhaps if fable had been born without the negative side effects, he could push through them if he just tried hard enough.

but kirk had been wrong. the built up anger and self loathing of the last few years were too much, driving him to turn his hatred towards his ex wife. he flew to the apartment francine and fable shared, attacking his ex and killing her in front of their child. it was the scream that exploded from a then 18 year old fable that broke through the haze of anger clouding kirk's mind. seeing what he had done, the man-bat fled the scene and later that night took his own life, leaving his child an orphan.

To był sztos ! Mega animacja i świat przedstawiony. Twórcy stanęli na wysokości zadania, a młody Vesemir .... Aż trudno go sobie wyobrazić w tej postaci po erze gier, książek czy nawet serialu. Jest charakterny, seksowny i zabawny. Geralt przy nim to płotka, a najlepsze młodego wiedźmina też można tu spotkać i jest uroczy. W każdym razie pierwsza scena i walka z lepszym, krwawa jatka trochę, więc odrazu mówię, że to nie dla dzieci 😵🔥😎 Trochę potworków mamy i całkiem nieźle przedstawionych, ludzi, którzy wiedźminów nie nawidzą, czarodziejów i retrospekcje z życia Vesemira przed oraz w trakcie prób mutacji na wiedźmina. Tutaj widzimy, że wiedźmini nastawieni są na kasę i zabawę, pytanie co się stanie kiedy ktoś się wścieknie i będzie miał dość ich oszustw, a co jeśli któryś Wiedźmin będzie odpowiadał za mutacje potworów, by się im dobrze żyło ? Bitwa o Kaer Morhen oczywiście, ta która pozbawiła życia wielu wiedźminów i wstrzymała mutacje. Od tamtej pory wiedźminów prawie nie ma, a ci co zostali no jakoś sobie radzą. Najlepszy moment to ten kiedy wspomnieli o Eskelu i Lambertcie i takie wtedy, a gdzie Geralt. Kilka ujęć na dzieciaków, ciekawy fragment z jednym małym uciekinierem i odrazu takie „A to nie jest Geralt?”. Nawiasem mówiąc trafiłam 🤣 Boska animacja, wciągająca do samego końca, mega przedstawiony świat oraz muzyka.
