I love making Oliver and Ryder’s relationship because it’s both a cool brother friendship and also animal/spirit companion, my two favorite dynamics :>

Here's my friend's character, Raíz en Vuelo, a leshy druid of the animal order, and their bear animal companion Tito. Raíz used to have a falcon animal companion, but they were killed by a Chupacabra.

Little animal "guardians"/figurines I've made over the years.

First row - Wolf, Bear, Raven - was made in 2021.

Cow, Owl, and Squirrel followed early 2023.

Beaver, Eagle/Hawk, and Otter, Raccoon, another Owl, and Cat late 2023.

I have a list of other animals I wanna do, so more to come. :3

I taught art classes at my local Library last Wednesday! I decided on Artist Tradings Cards (ATCs) for the lesson. I wanted to try something new, so I drew Fou! For my first time drawing him, he turned out pretty cute! 🤍

Since we got there in the book and she's finally made an appearance in the chapter, I went and redrew my favorite murder deer:

A doe, with such unnaturally white fur that it seemed to be glowing against the darkness of the trees, which threatened to swallow it whole if it stopped moving. It thrashed like a demon, as if it had a fire in its veins, its kicks grazing past the boys around it almost.. purposely. As if it meant to just scare them, not hit. If it connected, Rosely suspected it’d break bone. It appeared to be stuck, one of its hooves caught on a piece of the loose wiring. It froze for a moment, its ears perking up in Rosely's direction. The breath went from her lungs as it turned its head towards them, as if it’d felt Rosely staring. Its eyes had no pupils, only a greyed out milk color that consumed the entire of its visible eyeball.  Blind magick deer. That was new.
