Seven 'Ps' to 'Terminator' anger. - Part Four.
When angry, engaging in breathing exercises before the person concerned may freak them out and diffuse the situation. But it is better to do it when alone. #mentalhealth
PLEASE BREATHE. Previously: Part One – Seven Ps to cope; Part Two – Four Ps to prepare; Part Three – Pause We may have distanced ourselves from the situation triggering our anger, or we may still be face-to-face with the stimulus. No matter what, we must now breathe and relax. Credit Emerson Peters on Unsplash It is common for children sometimes to hold their breath and tense their bodies…

Scars of Your Survival Instinct in Birth Chart
SURVIVAL INSTINCT MEANS...
Survival instinct is a natural response to imminent danger, where your body responds by triggering a fight, flight, or freeze response to keep you safe.
The fight response involves confronting the threat head-on, the flight response involves escaping or avoiding the threat, and the freeze response involves hoping that the threat will pass.
However, being in this state for prolonged periods due to trauma can have damaging effects on our physical and mental health.
HOW STRUGGLES OF CHILDHOOD MANIFEST HERE
When faced with difficult upbringing and authority figures, a child often learns to build a wall to protect him/herself from the world.
This protection mechanism acts as a behaviour of emotional unavailability, anger issues, passive aggression and depression.
Slowly, your body starts keeping count of your trauma which leads to major health issues like high blood pressure, heart illness, diabetes and more.
IN MEN
It can lead to a highly complex ego where you seek external validation through superficial status, short-lived relationships and a running away mentality. Also, an extremist mentality.
IN WOMEN
It can lead to a high inferiority complex where you people please or are hyper-independent, focus too much on external beauty and couldn't assert yourself. Also, a victimhood mentality.
IN YOUR NATAL BLUEPRINT
Your ancestors survived many calamities so that you can break the patterns of the sufferings you are carrying within. These patterns can manifest as...
HOUSE OF ARIES AND MARS
Whichever house Aries and Mars are located in, that house shapes the way you survive the most challenging battles and bullying.
HOUSE OF SCORPIO AND PLUTO
This house shapes the way you transform yourself after going through ego death. Shadow work here brings immense healing to your ancestry.
HOUSE OF CAPRICORN AND SATURN
Whichever house Cap and Saturn are located in, that house shapes the way you learn karmic lessons and channel ancestral gifts to achieve legacy.
SUN-SATURN ASPECT, SUN IN LIBRA/ AQUA
This aspect makes you learn lessons about your identity, soul and heal inner criticism.
MARS-SATURN ASPECT, SAT IN ARIES
This aspect makes you learn lessons about your assertiveness and how you show up. A prominent survival instinct that needs nurturing and stability.
MOON IN SCORPIO, VIRGO, CAP, AQUARIUS
This aspect makes you close your heart space due to difficult childhood. Your healing begins when you prioritise self-care and emotional consciousness.
MOON-SATURN ASPECT, SAT IN 4TH HOUSE
This aspect makes you learn lessons about your emotional boundaries, home life and ancestry. Here, you heal by redefining what home/ family is.
PLUTO-MARS ASPECT, MARS IN 8TH HOUSE
This aspect makes you hyper-aware of the energies around you. Trusting your intuition is needed here.
VENUS-SATURN ASPECT, SAT IN 7TH HOUSE
This aspect makes you isolated from partnerships (business or love). This is also an indication to not repeat parental patterns within your relationship.
VENUS-PLUTO ASPECT, VENUS IN 8TH HOUSE
This aspect asks you to heal patterns around power struggles, abuse, finance, ancestry and intimacy.
VENUS-NEPTUNE ASPECT, VEN IN 12TH HOUSE
This aspect makes you learn about the importance of boundaries and not justifying destructive habits, especially within partnerships.
HOW YOU THRIVE INSTEAD OF SURVIVE
Practice cognitive reframing by challenging negative thoughts and replacing them with more positive and realistic ones. Set realistic goals.
Engage in activities that promote relaxation and stress reduction. This can include deep breathing exercises, therapy or mindfulness techniques.
Be gentle with yourself throughout the healing process. Understand that it takes time to recover from a prolonged state of survival instinct

Okay so I recently saw a reblog to Jedi Apologists refutation of the Jedi being a cult which talked about mindfulness as a bad thing with it’s emphasis on self compassion leading to narcissism (I’m paraphrasing). Anyway, this really didn’t sound right from everything I’ve read about it on various pro-Jedi blogs and have taken away from Star Wars itself. And we’ll when I looked up mindfulness some of the stuff I’ve found went into how the practice has been corrupted by Western capitalism and how Buddhists have criticised the way it’s used too.
So as a practising Buddhist how does Western mindfulness deviate from its Buddhist roots and how do the Jedi use mindfulness in the truest sense?
First of all, people have a tendency to forgot or to actively ignore that there is a difference between these four:
Mindfulness
Meditation
Mindfulness meditation
Being mindful of your emotions
Mindfulness in Buddhism
Mindfulness in Buddhism can be defined as maintaining a flow of voluntarily awareness or attention, holding, bearing something in mind, without distraction, without forgetfulness. This awareness, attention is non-judgmental, not filtering things through subjective opinions, or labeling things as good and bad based on like or dislike. But it entails you to have a clear view of what's happening in your mind, body, and environment, and you can recognize which ways of speaking, behaving and using the mind is conducive to your and to other's well-being, which are afflictive, toxic, harmful to you and to others, and you can do the sensible, compassionate thing.
Buddhist Mindfulness and Western Psychology - mindfulness versus meditation
In the context of Western psychology, "mindfulness" often refers to mindfulness practices incorporated into the Western therapeutic toolkit, most often mindfulness meditation. However, one must understand that even as all forms of Buddhist meditation involve mindfulness, mindfulness is not the same as meditation and not all types of mediation is mindfulness meditation. The Buddha taught his followers to practice mindfulness all the time. It should be clear that one can make Buddhist mindfulness a day-to-day activity, but it would be very difficult to stay in the state of mindfulness as it is defined in Western psychological context.
Mindfulness in the Western context is becoming more fully aware of the present moment and becoming more fully in the present moment, completely and non-judgmentally. It generally involves heightened awareness of sensory stimuli, e.g. noticing your breathing, feeling the sensations of your body, being in the “now.”
Buddhists define meditation as a tool used to habituate yourself to constructive, realistic and beneficial emotions and attitudes, to build up good habits of the mind. It's used to transform thoughts and views so that they are more compassionate and correspond to reality. Some forms of meditation are aimed to develop mindfulness. Whereas in the Western context, meditation is often defined as a set of techniques that are intended to encourage a heightened state of awareness and focused attention.
Therapies incorporating mindfulness practices include: Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), Mindfulness-based art therapy (MBAT), Mindfulness-based pain management (MBPM) and Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MSBR).
The Jedi way: "Be mindful of your emotions"
The Jedi way of being mindful of your emotions in George Lucas' Star Wars is to hold your emotions in calm, non-reactive ("passive") and peaceful awareness. When you do that, you can realize: you are not your emotions. You are not your fear; you are not your anger; you are not your aggression; you are not your hate. They're arising within you, and when you're not mindful of them, you are pulled by them to places where you didn't really want to go. However, when one is mindful of their emotions, instead of being carried by them, one can recognize where fear, anger, hate, aggressive feelings are leading them, and can choose the light path over the dark path: to act with firmness, spacious clarity and compassion.
This kind of mindfulness practiced by the Jedi, the Jedi teachings of "be mindful of your emotions", "be mindful of your thoughts" and that one's mind should be where one is, in what they're doing, are very much identical to Buddhist mindfulness. But it should be noted that even though many Jedi - Qui-Gon, Yoda, the whole council, etc. - and even Jar Jar were meditating, this doesn't mean that they attempted to incorporate meditation into a therapeutic toolkit.
Western pop-culture mindfulness
The Western pop-culture mindfulness is to immerse yourself into the present moment, focusing your full and undivided attention to your experiences, whether it's within you or around you. It lacks the aim to discern what is conducive to your and to other's well-being, and it's just experiencing passively. Most worryingly, it's promoted as a way to increase the pleasures you receive from the present. Eat mindfully, get a massage mindfully, walk mindfully, have sex mindfully etc. And this is profoundly non-Buddhist, because it's all about squeezing out more intense and more lasting pleasure of the things that are coming and passing. When "mindfulness practice" is removed from other Buddhist teachings, guiding us to release our greed, anger, to develop empathy, kindness and compassion, and non-attachment, "mindfulness" could reinforce negative qualities. For example, if one fails to differentiate between self-compassion and self-indulgence, self-care and self-centeredness, they likely conclude that their narcissistic tendencies are self-compassion.
Most worryingly, mindfulness is conflated with mediation and is marketed as some kind of relaxation exercise or stress-reduction technique. But mediation was designed to gain insight and wisdom, not to relax. Also, it's popular to treat it as a tool or as a magical remedy for psychological healing, whereas it wasn't designed to be anything like that. It can powerfully support therapeutic processes, but one must know that Buddhist practice is not a substitute for, say, psychotherapy. And when pop-culture mindfulness fails to deliver, people often believe, what they did to themselves was Buddhism and mindfulness, whereas that wasn't Buddhism or mindfulness at all.

God that Trump story is so fucked up. Choice bits:
Trump, he said, was almost “functionally illiterate” but did read the Page Six gossip column in the New York Post. He was “incapable” of reading a balance sheet, and any “act of kindness” would have been an accident, Epstein said
[...]
Epstein also alleged that Trump had an elaborate scheme to procure sex with his friends’ wives. He would call the men into his Trump Tower office to ask them about their sex lives and offer them sex with beauty pageant contestants, the pedophile said. He would do this while the wives were–unknown to their husbands– listening on speaker phone, so that he could then seduce the wives on the basis their husbands had betrayed them, Epstein claimed.
Epstein can be heard acting out what he alleged was Trump’s elaborate seduction technique to Wolff, using Wolff’s name and that of his wife, Victoria, to demonstrate it. Epstein said, “And he’d say, ‘What’s it like to do that?... Do you like having sex with your wife? How often do you have sex with her?’” Epstein claimed Trump would also say, “You must have had a better f--- than your wife, tell me about it.” Then, the pedophile alleged, Trump would say, “We can, you and I can go upstairs or tomorrow, come over, there’s this girl’s coming in from Los Angeles, part of the, whatever Hawaiian Tropic contest, so come over, we can have a great time. I promise you, Michael, you know, it’s just me and you, we can have a great time.” Epstein added, “The whole time, your Victoria’s with us on the phone.” Then he would use the wives’ anger to seduce them, he claimed.
[...]
The tape mixes sexual allegations with other aspects of Trump’s life. Early in the recording Epstein is heard to say, “You probably know he had a scalp reduction. He’s getting the same male pattern baldness that we all have. He had his scalp reduced. It’s hysterical.” Trump has long refused to release full medical records while his White House medical reports did not disclose any prior surgeries.
Lmao. Christ.

Hey do you have any advice for what to do when you're angry? Not at anything in particular but your just so mad and not doing anything about it makes your feel like it's being ground into dust. I hope I made sense, I don't know if this is an ASPD thing or not but I figured it's worth a try.
I do, though none of it is super effective without a bit of prep outside of the situation and also knowing your particular experience of this because the anger that has no target can come in a few different forms from what I've noticed.
There's true no cause, where nothing triggered you at all and it comes on seemingly out of nowhere. For me, this is usually a part of a symptom flare, either the peak of it or right at the beginning. Either way, this is usually how I notice it. This usually comes with the impulsive desire to break things/hurt people/similar. For this, I have a post where I've gone into it, but basically you want to have prepared some sort of thing you know will help in this situation because having to do any prep in the moment is going to make it fail. For some people, they can go things like go to a wreck room (place where you can break pay usually not too much to break stuff in a space where you don't have to clean it up) and that will be enough for them. For others, it can't be in a sterile room like that that's *made* to have stuff broken or it isn't the same. In that situation, you'll want an impulsive option that can be organic. Some people own cheap plates purely so they can go in a room and break them and worry about cleaning it up later. For that to work, you either have to live alone or live with someone who knows you have ASPD and are okay with this - or who are just super chill and won't be freaked out. Hear me out - that isn't for their sake. It's for yours. It will make it so much worse if during the thing you're doing to calm yourself, someone makes an issue out of it because now that anger *will* be targeted now - at them. That's not going to help bc now there won't be a safe way to get out the anger anywhere near as easily as if it wasn't targeted.
For that type, the biggest thing is allowing yourself to have symptoms and taking a harm reduction approach vs a total control approach. Total control there will not be easily achievable and you'll probably just p*ss yourself off worse n the process. So if you have things around you're okay with taking out anger on and a safe place to do it, then that's okay as long as it's your own property and no one is getting hurt (including intimidated, again just so that it doesn't escalate). I would avoid much external interaction when it's violent urges specifically bc it will upset you having to put in all that effort not to take it out on them.
Then there's the anger that technically had a cause at some point, but has moved past its cause. So kind of the "it's been a terrible day not because of any one thing but because of the combination of everything" situation? Similar to that anyways. For this, it's gonna be your basic symptom management techniques. Interact with violent media if that calms you down - true crime, the news, violent video games, action movies, horror/thriller movies, etc. along those lines. If that doesn't help you, maybe you have a music playlist that helps you feel good. It'll help to have that prepped too, bc the lull of finding another song will probably suck in that mindset. Something I call parallel distraction is helpful for this - where you're distracting yourself, but not forcing your brain to completely ignore it. You're angry and you let yourself feel that, but give it a direction to go in that's through catharsis rather than taking the actions yourself.
Those are the two I can think of at the moment. I know there's probably more but they are escaping me at the moment. If you/anyone has any explanations of the anger you're feeling/what symptoms and feelings are associated with it, I can probably give advice tailored a bit more to that if I've experienced it.
Any anger without a cause or target can acquire a target realllllyyyy easily because that makes more sense to your brain. The human brain doesn't like feeling something and not knowing why, so if it can make up a reason that is exactly what it will do. Your roommate comes in and tells you to turn the music down? "Ah, well I sure was trying to calm down but now? Now this anger is your fault and I'm not gonna waste energy calming down again when you messed that up for me." Because of that, you ideally really want to find coping mechanisms that you can do without having to cause unwanted interactions. For some people, specific people can help but you want to choose that. In general, in an ASPD anger flare - whether it's from something specific or not - you want to keep as much control over the situation as you can because unexpected things can push you over the edge past coping.
I apologize if this isn't as helpful as usual or there are typos; it's very late here at the moment.

Sound Healing Therapy
Sound Healing Therapy is a therapeutic practice that uses specific sound frequencies, vibrations, and tones to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. By harnessing the power of sound, this therapy aims to restore balance in the body and mind, reduce stress, alleviate pain, and improve overall well-being. Sound healing can involve various tools such as singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, and even the human voice, each designed to target specific areas of the body’s energy system for deep relaxation and rejuvenation.
Sound Healing Therapy: A Pathway to Physical and Emotional Wellness
In recent years, Sound Healing Therapy has emerged as a powerful tool for achieving overall wellness, combining ancient wisdom with modern science. This therapeutic practice uses specific sound frequencies and vibrations to promote healing, restore balance, and support emotional well-being. The impact of sound on the body, mind, and spirit has long been recognized, and today, sound therapy techniques are used to address a variety of health concerns, from stress relief to pain management.
In this blog, we’ll explore the concept of sound healing therapy, its benefits, and how different sound frequencies and vibrational techniques can contribute to your well-being.
What is Sound Healing Therapy?
Sound Healing Therapy involves using sound frequencies, vibrations, and tones to support the body's natural healing processes. The practice relies on the concept that everything in the universe, including the human body, is made up of energy that vibrates at certain frequencies. When these vibrations are out of sync—due to illness, emotional distress, or environmental factors—sound healing therapy can help restore harmony.
The therapy is typically performed using instruments like singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, chimes, and the human voice. Each of these tools produces specific frequencies that can promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Through these vibrations, sound healing aims to stimulate energy flow, release blockages, and encourage deep relaxation.
The Benefits of Sound Therapy
Sound healing therapy offers a range of benefits that can positively impact various aspects of your health. Here are some of the key benefits:
1. Stress Reduction and Relaxation
One of the most well-known benefits of sound therapy is its ability to reduce stress and induce relaxation. The therapeutic sounds and vibrations help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes relaxation and lowers cortisol (the stress hormone). This leads to a calmer mind, reduced anxiety, and an overall sense of peace.
2. Emotional Healing
Sound healing therapy is also a powerful tool for emotional well-being. It can help release negative emotions such as fear, guilt, and anger, making space for positive emotions like love, joy, and gratitude. Many people use sound therapy to heal emotional trauma, alleviate depression, and address anxiety.
3. Pain Management
Another significant benefit of sound therapy is its ability to manage pain. Vibrational healing therapy works by sending sound vibrations into the body, which helps release muscle tension and improve blood flow. This can result in the relief of chronic pain, headaches, and even symptoms of conditions like arthritis.
4. Improved Sleep
Sound healing therapy can help improve sleep by calming the mind and releasing physical tension. The soothing sounds can promote deeper, more restorative sleep and help reset the body’s natural circadian rhythms.
5. Enhanced Focus and Clarity
Sound therapy can enhance mental clarity and focus. By stimulating the brain with specific frequencies, it can improve concentration, cognitive function, and memory. This makes sound therapy a valuable tool for those looking to boost productivity or deepen their meditation practice.
The Role of Sound Frequency Therapy
Sound Frequency Therapy is at the core of sound healing. It involves using specific frequencies to stimulate healing within the body and mind. Each frequency has its own unique effect, and when combined with other sound therapy techniques, it can target specific areas of the body or emotional states.
Here are some common frequencies used in sound frequency therapy:
432 Hz: Known as the “universal frequency,” it is believed to promote feelings of peace and well-being. It is said to resonate with the natural frequency of the Earth and the human body, making it ideal for relaxation and healing.
528 Hz: Often referred to as the “love frequency,” this sound is associated with DNA repair and healing at a cellular level. It is commonly used to promote emotional healing, creativity, and harmony.
396 Hz: This frequency is associated with releasing fear and guilt, helping to clear emotional blockages and promote inner peace.
639 Hz: This frequency is often used to improve communication, relationships, and emotional healing, particularly in the context of forgiveness and connection.
Vibrational Healing Therapy: How Sound Affects the Body
Vibrational Healing Therapy is a subcategory of sound healing that focuses on how sound vibrations influence the body’s energy systems. The body is made of energy, and when energy becomes stagnant or blocked, it can lead to physical or emotional discomfort. Vibrational healing therapy aims to release these blockages and restore balance by using sound vibrations that penetrate deep into the body’s energy fields.
In vibrational healing therapy, tools such as crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, and gong baths are used to produce powerful vibrations that interact with the body’s cells. These vibrations stimulate energy flow, promote healing, and help release emotional or physical tension.
Healing with Sound Therapy: Techniques and Tools
There are various techniques and tools used in sound healing therapy to facilitate healing and well-being. Here are some of the most popular sound therapy techniques:
1. Sound Baths
A sound bath is an immersive experience where participants lie down and listen to a variety of sound instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, and chimes. The sounds and vibrations create a deep sense of relaxation, helping to clear the mind and release stress. Sound baths are an excellent way to experience the therapeutic effects of sound healing in a group setting.
2. Binaural Beats
Binaural beats involve playing two different sound frequencies in each ear. The brain perceives a third frequency that is the difference between the two. This technique can help with relaxation, focus, and sleep by synchronizing brainwave activity with specific frequencies. Binaural beats are often used in meditation and mindfulness practices.
3. Tuning Fork Therapy
Tuning fork therapy involves using metal tuning forks that are struck to create specific frequencies. These forks are then applied to certain points on the body, such as acupressure points or chakras, to stimulate energy flow and restore balance. This technique is ideal for those seeking to relieve pain or address energetic imbalances.
4. Crystal Singing Bowls
Crystal singing bowls are made from quartz and are used to produce harmonic sounds that resonate with the body’s energy centers. These bowls are often played during meditation or sound baths to promote emotional healing, balance, and relaxation.
5. Vocal Toning and Chanting
Vocal toning and chanting are powerful sound therapy techniques that use the human voice to create healing vibrations. By chanting specific mantras or vocalizing certain sounds, individuals can release emotional tension and promote healing in the body. This technique is commonly used in spiritual practices and meditation.
Conclusion
Sound Healing Therapy is a transformative practice that has been used for centuries to promote physical, mental, and emotional healing. By harnessing the power of sound frequencies and vibrations, sound therapy offers a non-invasive, holistic approach to wellness. Whether through sound baths, vibrational healing therapy, or sound frequency techniques, this therapeutic modality provides a pathway to healing and balance for those seeking to improve their well-being.
As research continues to explore the science behind sound healing, its benefits are becoming increasingly recognized. If you're looking to reduce stress, alleviate pain, or enhance emotional and spiritual health, sound healing therapy might be the perfect tool to help you on your journey.

Unofficially back and things have been so… bad. Well.. for my mental health at least. Getting swabbed next Thursday only to get confirmation and debunk shit, while also dealing with Bf’s health issues. Still a little bit in disbelief he has an autoimmune disease, but I’m glad it’s not worse than that. It explains so much as to why he kept getting outbreaks of his lip sore (which is like 2 times a year).
Been speaking with my psychiatrist and my therapist and my psychiatrist has been talking about how I may be actually suffering from C-PTSD as opposed to just PTSD. She’s also noticed that I’ve become dissociative over time and honestly it explains why I feel so soulless and dead inside. Like… I would feel so much stress, anxiety, my depression would go full on to wanting to hurt myself and then… I leave. Like there is a part of me that is no longer here. Like it’s gone and I don’t think that part of me will come back any time soon, if not at all. You can try to put me in a stressful situation and I would not even react with intense anxiety, anger, or even sadness. I’m just numb to the bone. Idk. I’m just existing and not truly living. My therapist is a godsend and I really love how she helps me process my feelings (or lack thereof) and my thought processes. I’m truly thankful for my therapist and my psychiatrist.
It has been hinted (I feel like) that I may have BPD, but the way both my psychiatrist and my therapist explain it is that C-PTSD and BPD coincide together so it can be difficult to diagnose which one I’m possibly suffering from. I didn’t understand how that can be possible because one is a personality disorder and the other is some sort of traumatic disorder until I looked into it and I can see how I can be suffering from both. Idk though I’m leaning towards C-PTSD, because I don’t like the idea of having a personality disorder. Sure, it can explain a lot about me because I don’t understand why I can think the way I do and why I act the way I do. I just… idk. I don’t really wanna be diagnosed with that.
I’ve learned some grounding techniques, but I don’t want to be back and feel the things I feel when I am back. I remember for months I know I was at my rock bottom and I don’t want to feel that again. My sense of self is destroyed and I feel like I don’t even recognize who I am and who I’ve become. All I want to accept is that I’m a mom to a beautiful baby girl and that is it. I don’t want to feel the guilt, the anxiety, the anger, the depression, or the urge to kîll mÿsèlf.
On the positive note, in total I have lost 25-30 lbs! I feel a lot better about my body, except for my chest. My posture has gotten bad due to my chest being big because of breastfeeding. Even when I completely wean off, they’re gonna be big and that’s gonna make me feel incredibly insecure. I’m thinking I might actually start saving for breast reduction surgery. I want to feel more confident about my chest while also having a better posture. Bf even supports me on this now.
Things have been feeling really off and weird for me. I don’t feel right in my body. And I haven’t been in a while. It’s like my mind and my body separated.
Anyhoo, here are pics/vid of me feeling myself even though I have mixed feelings about myself. 😌
(Had to increase the grain on the grainy ones cuz they came out blurry 😭)

Psychotherapy: This may include cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, or other forms of talk therapy. A therapist can help the individual develop coping skills, identify and challenge negative thought patterns, and learn to manage stress.
Medication: In some cases, medication such as antidepressants or anti-anxiety medications may be recommended to help manage symptoms.
Stress management techniques: Relaxation exercises, mindfulness meditation, and other stress-reduction techniques can help reduce symptoms and improve overall well-being.
Social support: Building a strong support system, such as through friends, family, or support groups, can help individuals with adjustment disorder feel less isolated and more connected.
Lifestyle changes: Making healthy lifestyle changes, such as improving sleep habits, eating a healthy diet, and exercising regularly, can help reduce symptoms of adjustment disorder.
It's important to note that seeking help from a mental health professional, such as a therapist or counselor, is often the first step toward effective treatment for adjustment disorder. A mental health professional can work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your individual needs and helps you feel better.

How Can Anger Management Therapy in Texas Help with Managing Depression and Anxiety?
Emotions are an integral part of the human experience. They influence our thoughts, behaviors, and interactions. However, when emotions such as anger, anxiety, or depression become overwhelming, they can significantly impact daily life. At Coaching for Emotional Intelligence, PLLC, we specialize in helping individuals address these challenges through tailored therapeutic approaches, including anger management therapy. If you're in Texas and seeking a way to regain control over your emotions and improve your quality of life, understanding the connection between anger management therapy, depression, and anxiety is essential.
The Interplay Between Anger, Depression, and Anxiety
Anger, depression, and anxiety often go hand in hand. While each is a distinct emotional state, they share overlapping triggers and symptoms. For instance:
Anger and Anxiety: Anxiety often stems from fear or uncertainty, which can manifest as irritability or anger when left unchecked. This anger is usually a defense mechanism to cope with feelings of vulnerability.
Depression and Anger: Depression can lead to suppressed emotions, including unresolved anger. In some cases, anger is directed inward, intensifying feelings of guilt and worthlessness, common in depressive episodes.
Understanding these connections is the first step in addressing the underlying causes. Anger management therapy in Texas provides a structured approach to untangling these emotions and learning how to manage them effectively.
What Is Anger Management Therapy?
Anger management therapy is a specialized form of counseling designed to help individuals recognize the sources of their anger and develop healthier ways to express it. At Coaching for Emotional Intelligence, PLLC, we tailor our anger management programs to meet the unique needs of each client. This therapy often includes:
Identifying Triggers: Understanding what provokes anger is crucial. Triggers can range from personal conflicts to environmental stressors.
Cognitive Restructuring: This involves changing negative thought patterns that fuel anger into more constructive ways of thinking.
Emotional Regulation Techniques: Clients learn strategies such as mindfulness, deep breathing, and relaxation exercises to manage anger in the moment.
Communication Skills: Anger often arises from misunderstandings. Improving communication can help prevent conflicts that escalate emotions.
How Does Anger Management Therapy Address Depression and Anxiety?
Anger management therapy doesn’t just help individuals cope with anger; it also addresses the root causes of depression and anxiety. Here’s how:
Stress Reduction: Learning to control anger reduces stress, which is a common contributor to both depression and anxiety.
Improved Relationships: Healthy ways of expressing anger lead to stronger, more supportive relationships, which are critical for emotional well-being.
Enhanced Self-Awareness: By understanding the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, clients gain insight into their emotional states, helping them better manage depression and anxiety.
Practical Techniques for Managing Depression and Anxiety
In addition to anger management therapy, there are other therapeutic approaches and techniques offered at Coaching for Emotional Intelligence, PLLC that can help manage depression and anxiety:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):
CBT focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns.
It’s highly effective for reducing symptoms of both depression and anxiety by teaching individuals how to reframe their thoughts and responses.
Mindfulness and Meditation:
Mindfulness encourages individuals to stay present, reducing overthinking and worry.
Meditation practices can help calm the mind, decrease anxiety, and promote emotional stability.
Lifestyle Adjustments:
Regular exercise, a healthy diet, and sufficient sleep play a vital role in emotional regulation.
Incorporating small, positive changes in daily routines can significantly improve mental health.
Journaling and Emotional Expression:
Writing about feelings can help individuals process and release pent-up emotions, reducing anger, depression, and anxiety.

Understanding Emotional Resilience
Emotional resilience is the ability to adapt to stressful situations and recover from setbacks. It's not about avoiding difficulties or never experiencing distress but about developing the skills to manage emotional pain and return to a state of balance. Individuals with high emotional resilience are able to cope with adversity, learn from their experiences, and grow stronger as a result.
Dr Karen Hawk Psychologist works with clients to understand the factors that influence their resilience, helping them develop strategies to navigate life’s ups and downs with more confidence and strength. She emphasizes that emotional resilience is a skill that can be cultivated with time, practice, and the right support.
Dr. Karen Hawk’s Approach to Building Resilience
Dr. Hawk's approach to building emotional resilience is tailored to each client’s unique needs. She uses a combination of therapeutic techniques designed to help clients process emotions, change unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies. Some of the core elements of her approach include:
1. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a well-established therapeutic method that helps individuals identify and challenge negative thought patterns. Dr. Hawk uses CBT to help clients recognize the thoughts that contribute to stress, anxiety, and depression. By addressing these thought patterns, clients can replace them with healthier, more positive beliefs. This shift in thinking fosters resilience by helping clients reframe challenges in a more manageable way.
2. Mindfulness and Stress-Reduction Techniques
Mindfulness is the practice of staying present and fully engaged in the moment, which can reduce stress and increase emotional resilience. Dr. Hawk incorporates mindfulness exercises and relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation, into her sessions. These techniques help clients build emotional awareness, reduce the impact of stress, and stay grounded even in difficult situations.
3. Emotional Regulation Skills
Emotional regulation is the ability to manage and respond to emotional experiences in a healthy and productive way. Dr Karen Hawk Psychologist works with clients to develop emotional regulation skills, which are key to building resilience. By learning how to manage overwhelming emotions such as anger, fear, and sadness, clients can prevent these emotions from taking control and affecting their behavior.
4. Building Healthy Coping Mechanisms
Developing healthy coping strategies is essential for building resilience. Dr. Hawk helps clients identify their current coping mechanisms, many of which may be unhealthy or unproductive. She then helps clients replace these with healthier alternatives, such as problem-solving, seeking social support, or engaging in physical activity. These new coping mechanisms allow clients to manage stress more effectively and navigate challenges with greater ease.
5. Exploring Personal Strengths
Dr. Hawk believes that everyone has unique strengths that can be harnessed to build resilience. Through therapy, clients can gain a better understanding of their personal resources—such as optimism, creativity, or past experiences of overcoming adversity—and learn how to apply these strengths to future challenges. This sense of empowerment is a critical component of resilience, as it helps individuals feel more capable and in control of their circumstances.

Discover Inner Peace with the Power of NLP Timeline Therapy
Introduction
In the whirlwind of modern life, the quest for inner peace often feels elusive. With countless responsibilities and pressures, finding balance may seem unattainable. Yet, a revolutionary approach — NLP Timeline Therapy — offers a pathway to profound personal transformation. By diving deep into the mind’s inner workings, this powerful technique helps individuals unlock serenity and overcome mental blocks. Let’s explore how NLP Timeline Therapy can change your life and guide you toward the peace you deserve.
The Foundations of NLP Timeline Therapy
Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Timeline Therapy is a specialized method that empowers individuals to reframe their past experiences and rewrite emotional narratives. Developed as an extension of traditional NLP practices, this approach focuses on identifying and resolving negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and unresolved trauma stored within the subconscious mind.
The “timeline” in NLP Timeline Therapy refers to the mental construct each person uses to organize memories. By tapping into this timeline, a practitioner helps clients access the root causes of their struggles. Once identified, these memories are reframed, releasing the emotional weight they carry. This process can lead to profound shifts in how individuals view themselves and their world, fostering a newfound sense of calm and control.
How NLP Timeline Therapy Facilitates Inner Peace
Inner peace is not merely the absence of stress; it is a harmonious state of being where one feels emotionally resilient and mentally clear. NLP Timeline Therapy addresses the root causes of distress, allowing individuals to let go of burdens that obstruct their peace of mind. Here’s how it works:
1. Uncovering Emotional Baggage- Many of us carry unresolved emotions from the past — anger, guilt, sadness, or fear — that manifest as anxiety or unhappiness in the present. NLP Timeline Therapy enables individuals to revisit the origins of these emotions without reliving the pain. By safely examining these memories, clients can release the emotional charge associated with them.
2. Transforming Limiting Beliefs- Beliefs formed during childhood often shape our adult perceptions. Statements like “I’m not good enough” or “The world is a dangerous place” can lead to self-sabotage and chronic stress. Through NLP Timeline Therapy, these limiting beliefs are identified and replaced with empowering ones, paving the way for personal growth.
3. Cultivating Self-Compassion- The therapy fosters a deep sense of self-awareness, allowing individuals to forgive themselves for perceived past mistakes. This self-compassion is integral to achieving a lasting state of inner peace.
For those grappling with persistent mental health challenges, consulting a professional psychologist in Bergen County, NJ, may also enhance your therapeutic journey.
Applications of NLP Timeline Therapy
NLP Timeline Therapy is not limited to stress or emotional turmoil; its applications are diverse and far-reaching. It is particularly effective for individuals experiencing:
Chronic Anxiety: By resolving fears anchored in the past, clients experience a marked reduction in anxiety symptoms.
Low Self-Esteem: The therapy rebuilds confidence by addressing negative self-perceptions.
Post-Traumatic Stress: Trauma often lingers in the subconscious, influencing daily life. NLP Timeline Therapy gently addresses these experiences, fostering healing.
Unproductive Habits: Whether it’s procrastination or overthinking, breaking these cycles becomes achievable when their subconscious triggers are revealed.
At the Stress Reduction Clinic, you can explore how this transformative therapy complements other stress management approaches, creating a holistic plan for emotional well-being.
What to Expect in an NLP Timeline Therapy Session
Each session of NLP Timeline Therapy is a deeply personal experience tailored to the individual’s needs. The process begins with establishing trust between the client and the practitioner, ensuring a safe and non-judgmental environment.
Step 1: Identifying the Timeline- Through guided visualization, the therapist helps clients locate their timeline — the subconscious framework that organizes their memories. This step is crucial for accessing specific moments that shaped their emotional patterns.
Step 2: Exploring Root Causes- The practitioner facilitates a journey along the timeline to identify key events linked to current challenges. Importantly, clients remain detached from reliving the pain, focusing instead on observing the memory as a neutral observer.
Step 3: Releasing Negative Emotions- Using NLP techniques, the emotional intensity of these memories is neutralized. Clients gain new perspectives, releasing the grip of fear, anger, or guilt.
Step 4: Rewiring Beliefs- Finally, the therapist helps clients replace limiting beliefs with empowering ones. This shift creates a mental blueprint for confidence, resilience, and calm.
Combining this therapy with professional support from a qualified psychologist in Bergen County, NJ can deepen the benefits, especially for those navigating complex mental health issues.
Why Choose NLP Timeline Therapy for Inner Peace?
Unlike conventional therapies that may require prolonged sessions or focus solely on conscious thought patterns, NLP Timeline Therapy works directly with the subconscious. This accelerated approach produces tangible results in a shorter timeframe, making it ideal for those seeking effective stress relief.
Moreover, its holistic nature addresses the interconnectedness of mind, body, and emotions. By eliminating subconscious roadblocks, clients often notice improvements in their relationships, productivity, and overall health. Inner peace becomes not just a possibility but a natural state of being.
Success Stories: Real-Life Transformations
Consider Sarah, a 35-year-old teacher struggling with chronic anxiety. Traditional therapy offered temporary relief, but her symptoms persisted. After just a few sessions of NLP Timeline Therapy, she identified childhood experiences that had perpetuated her fears. By releasing these emotional anchors, Sarah experienced a profound sense of calm and confidence.
Or take Tom, a corporate executive whose self-doubt hindered his career. Through NLP Timeline Therapy, Tom reframed his perception of past failures. With newfound self-belief, he approached challenges with clarity and assurance, leading to both professional and personal success. Stories like these underscore the remarkable potential of this therapy for those ready to embrace change.
Integrating NLP Timeline Therapy into Your Life
If the idea of reclaiming your inner peace resonates, seeking a skilled practitioner is the next step. Many experts recommend combining NLP Timeline Therapy with complementary practices such as mindfulness, meditation, and regular consultations with mental health professionals. Addressing mental health issues comprehensively ensures sustainable well-being.
The Stress Reduction Clinic offers resources and guidance for integrating NLP Timeline Therapy into a balanced wellness routine. With expert support, you can embark on a journey to uncover your truest self — free from the weight of past burdens.
Conclusion
Inner peace is not a destination; it is a state cultivated through intentional action and self-discovery. NLP Timeline Therapy provides the tools to unravel the complexities of the subconscious mind, empowering individuals to release negativity and embrace resilience. Whether you’re facing anxiety, self-doubt, or unprocessed trauma, this groundbreaking therapy offers a beacon of hope.
By exploring your past with compassion and curiosity, you can unlock a future defined by clarity and calm. With professional support, such as from a psychologist in Bergen County, NJ, or resources like the Stress Reduction Clinic, you’ll find the strength to step into your fullest potential.
The power to achieve inner peace lies within you. It begins with a single choice: to let go of the past and embrace the transformative potential of NLP Timeline Therapy.

Youth Counselling Services Queens NY Supporting Mental Health in Teens
Adolescence is a crucial developmental stage in a person’s life, often filled with a mix of excitement, growth, and challenges. For many teens, this period can be overwhelming as they navigate the pressures of school, social expectations, family dynamics, and the search for their own identity. In Queens, NY—a borough known for its cultural diversity and fast-paced environment—teenagers face unique challenges that can have a profound impact on their mental health. Unfortunately, the stigma surrounding mental health issues can often prevent teens from seeking the help they need.
Youth counseling services, such as those provided by Better 2 Gether in Queens, NY, play a vital role in supporting the mental health of teens by offering a safe space where they can explore their emotions, build coping strategies, and receive professional guidance to manage the challenges of adolescence. In this article, we will explore the importance of mental health support for teens, the role of counseling in fostering emotional well-being, and how Better 2 Gether is making a difference in the lives of youth in Queens.
The State of Mental Health in Teens
Mental health among teenagers is a growing concern in today’s society. According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), approximately 1 in 5 adolescents in the United States experiences a mental health disorder, with anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders being some of the most common issues. In Queens, where teens come from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, these challenges can often be intensified by external pressures such as academic stress, family expectations, peer influence, and the challenges of navigating a multicultural environment.
Teens often experience periods of sadness, stress, and confusion, but when these feelings become overwhelming or prolonged, they can significantly affect a teen's ability to function day-to-day. Mental health disorders, if left untreated, can interfere with school performance, relationships, and overall quality of life. Early intervention through Youth Counseling Services Queens NY can help teens understand and manage their mental health before problems become more severe.
The Role of Youth Counseling in Mental Health Support
Youth counseling plays a crucial role in supporting the mental health of teens, offering them a space to express their emotions and work through challenges in a productive and constructive way. Counseling helps teens understand that mental health is just as important as physical health and that it’s okay to seek help when struggling emotionally or mentally. By providing teens with a safe and confidential space, counseling allows them to talk openly about issues that may be difficult to discuss with friends, family, or even school staff.
Some of the benefits of youth counseling for mental health include:
Improved Emotional AwarenessCounseling helps teens become more aware of their emotions and how to manage them. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by anger, anxiety, or sadness, they learn how to recognize these emotions and develop coping strategies that prevent them from spiraling out of control.
Healthy Coping SkillsAdolescence is often a time of significant stress, whether it’s from school, peer relationships, or family issues. Counseling teaches teens healthy coping strategies such as mindfulness, deep breathing exercises, journaling, and other stress-reduction techniques to manage their emotions in a positive way.
Building ResilienceThrough counseling, teens learn resilience—the ability to bounce back from adversity. Counselors help teens understand that setbacks are a part of life, and with the right mindset and support, they can navigate challenges and emerge stronger.
Improved Self-EsteemMany teens struggle with issues related to self-worth, especially in the age of social media, where comparison can lead to negative body image and insecurity. Counseling helps build self-esteem by encouraging teens to focus on their strengths, set achievable goals, and cultivate a healthy sense of self.
Better RelationshipsCounseling helps teens improve their communication skills, teaching them how to express their needs, listen actively, and navigate relationships in a healthy way. Whether it’s family dynamics, friendships, or romantic relationships, counseling can improve overall social interactions.
Conflict Resolution SkillsAdolescence is a time when teens experience conflict, whether it’s with parents, peers, or within themselves. Youth counseling teaches teens how to resolve conflicts in constructive ways, reducing the potential for unhealthy or destructive behavior.
Crisis Intervention and PreventionFor teens facing severe mental health crises—such as suicidal ideation, self-harm, or substance abuse—youth counseling offers immediate intervention. Counselors are trained to handle high-risk situations and provide teens with the support they need to address these issues head-on.
Better 2 Gether: Helping Teens in Queens
Better 2 Gether is a youth counseling service based in Queens, NY, dedicated to providing mental health support to adolescents in the community. The organization offers a comprehensive approach to youth counseling, focusing on empowering teens to take charge of their mental health and emotional well-being.
A Non-Judgmental, Safe Space
Teens often struggle to open up about their mental health because they fear being judged or misunderstood. At Better 2 Gether, counselors create a non-judgmental environment where teens can speak freely about their struggles without fear of criticism. This safe space fosters trust between the counselor and the teen, which is crucial for effective therapy. Teens learn that it’s okay to talk about their mental health and that they don’t have to go through it alone.
Individual and Group Counseling
Better 2 Gether offers both individual and group counseling to meet the diverse needs of the teens they serve. Individual counseling allows teens to receive personalized attention and focus on their specific issues, while group counseling provides a supportive environment where teens can connect with others facing similar challenges. Group therapy helps teens realize that they are not alone in their struggles and provides an opportunity to share experiences and coping strategies with peers.
Family Involvement
Mental health challenges often affect the whole family, which is why Better 2 Gether emphasizes the importance of involving family members in the counseling process. Family therapy helps improve communication between parents and teens, addresses underlying family dynamics, and strengthens the support system at home. By fostering healthier family relationships, Better 2 Gether helps create a more stable and supportive environment for the teen’s growth and healing.
Culturally Sensitive Counseling
Queens is one of the most ethnically diverse areas in New York City, with families from a variety of cultural backgrounds. The Benefits of Yoga for Kids in Perth: Exploring Yoga and Mindfulness Incursions with Phys Zen
Yoga is more than just a fitness practice for adults; it is increasingly recognized for its numerous benefits for children as well. In Perth, the popularity of yoga for kids has been steadily growing, as parents and educators alike realize the positive impact it has on children's physical, mental, and emotional development. One company that is leading the way in introducing children to the practice of yoga is Phys Zen. Through their specialized programs, such as "Yoga for Kids Perth" and "Yoga and Mindfulness Incursions," they are helping children develop essential skills for life, all while having fun.
In this article, we will delve into why yoga for kids is essential, the benefits it provides, and how Phys Zen is making yoga and mindfulness more accessible through its innovative incursions.
Understanding Yoga for Kids in Perth
Yoga is an ancient practice that combines physical postures, breathing exercises, and mindfulness techniques. Traditionally practiced by adults, it has now been adapted to suit childrens needs. "Yoga for Kids Perth" is a program designed specifically to engage young learners in a child-friendly version of yoga that focuses on building strength, flexibility, coordination, and mindfulness. These programs have become a key part of the wellness offerings in schools, community centers, and local studios across Perth.
When children practice yoga, they learn to connect with their bodies in a way that promotes both physical health and mental clarity. By incorporating elements of play, imagination, and storytelling, yoga instructors can make these sessions engaging and fun for young participants.
The Benefits of Yoga for Kids
The practice of yoga has several unique benefits for children that can positively impact various aspects of their development:
Physical Health and Fitness: Yoga enhances flexibility, strength, and balance in children. By practicing various poses, children can improve their motor skills, which is essential as they grow and engage in other physical activities like sports. Moreover, it helps in improving posture and alignment.
Mental Focus and Concentration: Yoga encourages mindfulness, which is the practice of paying attention to the present moment without judgment. This ability to focus is vital for children's cognitive development, helping them concentrate better at school and during other activities. Regular yoga practice has been shown to improve attention span and memory in children.
Emotional Regulation: Kids often struggle to manage their emotions, especially when feeling overwhelmed or stressed. Yoga helps them develop tools for emotional regulation through deep breathing exercises and mindfulness practices. These techniques can help children manage anxiety, anger, and frustration more effectively.
Stress Reduction: In today’s fast-paced world, even children are feeling the effects of stress and pressure. Yoga helps kids learn to relax and unwind by connecting to their breath and practicing slow, mindful movements. This practice can be particularly helpful for children who face high-stress levels in school or in their social environments.
Social Skills and Teamwork: When children practice yoga in a group setting, they also learn valuable social skills. Yoga classes often incorporate partner poses and group activities, promoting collaboration, communication, and respect for others. These social interactions are vital for the development of empathy and cooperation among peers.
Confidence Building: As children progress in their yoga practice, they gain confidence by learning new poses and achieving personal milestones. Whether it’s mastering a balancing pose or simply participating in a group session, yoga offers children a sense of accomplishment that boosts their self-esteem.
Yoga and Mindfulness Incursions with Phys Zen
One of the most innovative ways to introduce children to yoga is through "Yoga and Mindfulness Incursions," such as the programs offered by Phys Zen. These incursions are designed to bring the practice of yoga directly to schools, childcare centers, and other educational institutions in Perth. Instead of parents needing to find an outside studio, Phys Zen makes it possible for kids to experience yoga in the comfort of their own learning environments.
But what exactly is an incursion? An incursion is an educational program that comes to a school or community group to provide a learning experience without the children needing to leave their premises. With a focus on wellness, the yoga and mindfulness incursions offered by Phys Zen are a fantastic way to introduce kids to the calming and restorative benefits of yoga and mindfulness practices, often with little disruption to the regular school day.
These incursions typically include a combination of:
Yoga Sessions: Experienced instructors guide children through fun and interactive yoga poses, helping them explore movement in a way that is both playful and beneficial for their bodies.
Mindfulness Activities: Phys Zen’s incursions incorporate mindfulness techniques such as breathing exercises, visualization, and body scans. These practices help children develop an awareness of their thoughts and feelings, teaching them to stay calm and focused.
Thematic Lessons: Often, the lessons are themed around various topics like nature, animals, or specific emotions. This makes the sessions more engaging for children, helping them connect with the practice on a deeper level.
Personal Growth: With consistent exposure to yoga and mindfulness, children learn skills that will benefit them for a lifetime, such as emotional resilience, improved focus, and a sense of inner peace.

Whether you have a small class or a large group, Phys Zen can accommodate and ensure that every child benefits from the experience.
Engaging and Fun: The instructors at Phys Zen know how to make yoga fun for kids. They incorporate games, music, and storytelling into the sessions, keeping children engaged while also teaching them valuable yoga techniques and mindfulness practices.
Positive Feedback: Phys Zen has received glowing reviews from schools, parents, and children alike. Parents have reported that their children are calmer, more focused, and more confident after attending yoga and mindfulness incursions. Schools have noticed a reduction in anxiety and behavioral issues among students who regularly participate in these programs.
A Holistic Approach: In addition to physical fitness, Phys Zen emphasizes mental and emotional well-being. Their approach to teaching yoga integrates the body, mind, and spirit, helping children feel balanced and centered.

Programs like "Yoga for Kids Perth" and "Yoga and Mindfulness Incursions" by Phys Zen are playing a crucial role in introducing children to these valuable practices.
By providing children with the tools to stay physically healthy, mentally focused, and emotionally balanced, Phys Zen is not just teaching them yoga; they are helping to cultivate the skills necessary for navigating life’s challenges. Serenity Surrender Our Natural state of being
Our natural state of being is that of peace, love and joy. Even though we experience negative self-harming emotions such as hurt, pity, anger, jealousy; our inner self has the natural tendency to move towards its original state of being peace, love and joy. That is why eventually our anger slowly ebbs away, we tend to move towards forgiveness and tend to find ways to be at peace with self. This is our innate ability to heal.
Each situation or person that we experience in our life carries the potential to help us learn valuable lessons about self and trigger our growth. However, quite often these situations seem to challenge our existing notions about self and we dislike them. Reacting to these situations through negative emotions like anger, hurt, pity etc. seems to be the only way to respond to these situations and hence, we end up prolonging our misery through holding on to such negative emotions. Thereby, we also end up blocking our growth through our life situations as well as our natural healing process.
Advance Serenity Surrender Workshop, through its structured healing sessions and workshops can facilitate re-connecting with self and restoring our inherent ability to heal.
