Seven 'Ps' to 'Terminator' anger. - Part Four.
When angry, engaging in breathing exercises before the person concerned may freak them out and diffuse the situation. But it is better to do it when alone. #mentalhealth
PLEASE BREATHE. Previously: Part One – Seven Ps to cope; Part Two – Four Ps to prepare; Part Three – Pause   We may have distanced ourselves from the situation triggering our anger, or we may still be face-to-face with the stimulus. No matter what, we must now breathe and relax.  Credit Emerson Peters on Unsplash It is common for children sometimes to hold their breath and tense their bodies…

Scars of Your Survival Instinct in Birth Chart
Tumblr media
SURVIVAL INSTINCT MEANS...
Survival instinct is a natural response to imminent danger, where your body responds by triggering a fight, flight, or freeze response to keep you safe.
The fight response involves confronting the threat head-on, the flight response involves escaping or avoiding the threat, and the freeze response involves hoping that the threat will pass.
However, being in this state for prolonged periods due to trauma can have damaging effects on our physical and mental health.
HOW STRUGGLES OF CHILDHOOD MANIFEST HERE
When faced with difficult upbringing and authority figures, a child often learns to build a wall to protect him/herself from the world.
This protection mechanism acts as a behaviour of emotional unavailability, anger issues, passive aggression and depression.
Slowly, your body starts keeping count of your trauma which leads to major health issues like high blood pressure, heart illness, diabetes and more.
IN MEN
It can lead to a highly complex ego where you seek external validation through superficial status, short-lived relationships and a running away mentality. Also, an extremist mentality.
IN WOMEN
It can lead to a high inferiority complex where you people please or are hyper-independent, focus too much on external beauty and couldn't assert yourself. Also, a victimhood mentality.
IN YOUR NATAL BLUEPRINT
Your ancestors survived many calamities so that you can break the patterns of the sufferings you are carrying within. These patterns can manifest as...
HOUSE OF ARIES AND MARS
Whichever house Aries and Mars are located in, that house shapes the way you survive the most challenging battles and bullying.
HOUSE OF SCORPIO AND PLUTO
This house shapes the way you transform yourself after going through ego death. Shadow work here brings immense healing to your ancestry.
HOUSE OF CAPRICORN AND SATURN
Whichever house Cap and Saturn are located in, that house shapes the way you learn karmic lessons and channel ancestral gifts to achieve legacy.
SUN-SATURN ASPECT, SUN IN LIBRA/ AQUA
This aspect makes you learn lessons about your identity, soul and heal inner criticism.
MARS-SATURN ASPECT, SAT IN ARIES
This aspect makes you learn lessons about your assertiveness and how you show up. A prominent survival instinct that needs nurturing and stability.
MOON IN SCORPIO, VIRGO, CAP, AQUARIUS
This aspect makes you close your heart space due to difficult childhood. Your healing begins when you prioritise self-care and emotional consciousness.
MOON-SATURN ASPECT, SAT IN 4TH HOUSE
This aspect makes you learn lessons about your emotional boundaries, home life and ancestry. Here, you heal by redefining what home/ family is.
PLUTO-MARS ASPECT, MARS IN 8TH HOUSE
This aspect makes you hyper-aware of the energies around you. Trusting your intuition is needed here.
VENUS-SATURN ASPECT, SAT IN 7TH HOUSE
This aspect makes you isolated from partnerships (business or love). This is also an indication to not repeat parental patterns within your relationship.
VENUS-PLUTO ASPECT, VENUS IN 8TH HOUSE
This aspect asks you to heal patterns around power struggles, abuse, finance, ancestry and intimacy.
VENUS-NEPTUNE ASPECT, VEN IN 12TH HOUSE
This aspect makes you learn about the importance of boundaries and not justifying destructive habits, especially within partnerships.
HOW YOU THRIVE INSTEAD OF SURVIVE
Practice cognitive reframing by challenging negative thoughts and replacing them with more positive and realistic ones. Set realistic goals.
Engage in activities that promote relaxation and stress reduction. This can include deep breathing exercises, therapy or mindfulness techniques.
Be gentle with yourself throughout the healing process. Understand that it takes time to recover from a prolonged state of survival instinct

Okay so I recently saw a reblog to Jedi Apologists refutation of the Jedi being a cult which talked about mindfulness as a bad thing with it’s emphasis on self compassion leading to narcissism (I’m paraphrasing). Anyway, this really didn’t sound right from everything I’ve read about it on various pro-Jedi blogs and have taken away from Star Wars itself. And we’ll when I looked up mindfulness some of the stuff I’ve found went into how the practice has been corrupted by Western capitalism and how Buddhists have criticised the way it’s used too.
So as a practising Buddhist how does Western mindfulness deviate from its Buddhist roots and how do the Jedi use mindfulness in the truest sense?
First of all, people have a tendency to forgot or to actively ignore that there is a difference between these four:
Mindfulness
Meditation
Mindfulness meditation
Being mindful of your emotions
Mindfulness in Buddhism
Mindfulness in Buddhism can be defined as maintaining a flow of voluntarily awareness or attention, holding, bearing something in mind, without distraction, without forgetfulness. This awareness, attention is non-judgmental, not filtering things through subjective opinions, or labeling things as good and bad based on like or dislike. But it entails you to have a clear view of what's happening in your mind, body, and environment, and you can recognize which ways of speaking, behaving and using the mind is conducive to your and to other's well-being, which are afflictive, toxic, harmful to you and to others, and you can do the sensible, compassionate thing.
Buddhist Mindfulness and Western Psychology - mindfulness versus meditation
In the context of Western psychology, "mindfulness" often refers to mindfulness practices incorporated into the Western therapeutic toolkit, most often mindfulness meditation. However, one must understand that even as all forms of Buddhist meditation involve mindfulness, mindfulness is not the same as meditation and not all types of mediation is mindfulness meditation. The Buddha taught his followers to practice mindfulness all the time. It should be clear that one can make Buddhist mindfulness a day-to-day activity, but it would be very difficult to stay in the state of mindfulness as it is defined in Western psychological context.
Mindfulness in the Western context is becoming more fully aware of the present moment and becoming more fully in the present moment, completely and non-judgmentally. It generally involves heightened awareness of sensory stimuli, e.g. noticing your breathing, feeling the sensations of your body, being in the “now.”
Buddhists define meditation as a tool used to habituate yourself to constructive, realistic and beneficial emotions and attitudes, to build up good habits of the mind. It's used to transform thoughts and views so that they are more compassionate and correspond to reality. Some forms of meditation are aimed to develop mindfulness. Whereas in the Western context, meditation is often defined as a set of techniques that are intended to encourage a heightened state of awareness and focused attention.
Therapies incorporating mindfulness practices include: Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), Mindfulness-based art therapy (MBAT), Mindfulness-based pain management (MBPM) and Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MSBR).
The Jedi way: "Be mindful of your emotions"
The Jedi way of being mindful of your emotions in George Lucas' Star Wars is to hold your emotions in calm, non-reactive ("passive") and peaceful awareness. When you do that, you can realize: you are not your emotions. You are not your fear; you are not your anger; you are not your aggression; you are not your hate. They're arising within you, and when you're not mindful of them, you are pulled by them to places where you didn't really want to go. However, when one is mindful of their emotions, instead of being carried by them, one can recognize where fear, anger, hate, aggressive feelings are leading them, and can choose the light path over the dark path: to act with firmness, spacious clarity and compassion.
This kind of mindfulness practiced by the Jedi, the Jedi teachings of "be mindful of your emotions", "be mindful of your thoughts" and that one's mind should be where one is, in what they're doing, are very much identical to Buddhist mindfulness. But it should be noted that even though many Jedi - Qui-Gon, Yoda, the whole council, etc. - and even Jar Jar were meditating, this doesn't mean that they attempted to incorporate meditation into a therapeutic toolkit.
Western pop-culture mindfulness
The Western pop-culture mindfulness is to immerse yourself into the present moment, focusing your full and undivided attention to your experiences, whether it's within you or around you. It lacks the aim to discern what is conducive to your and to other's well-being, and it's just experiencing passively. Most worryingly, it's promoted as a way to increase the pleasures you receive from the present. Eat mindfully, get a massage mindfully, walk mindfully, have sex mindfully etc. And this is profoundly non-Buddhist, because it's all about squeezing out more intense and more lasting pleasure of the things that are coming and passing. When "mindfulness practice" is removed from other Buddhist teachings, guiding us to release our greed, anger, to develop empathy, kindness and compassion, and non-attachment, "mindfulness" could reinforce negative qualities. For example, if one fails to differentiate between self-compassion and self-indulgence, self-care and self-centeredness, they likely conclude that their narcissistic tendencies are self-compassion.
Most worryingly, mindfulness is conflated with mediation and is marketed as some kind of relaxation exercise or stress-reduction technique. But mediation was designed to gain insight and wisdom, not to relax. Also, it's popular to treat it as a tool or as a magical remedy for psychological healing, whereas it wasn't designed to be anything like that. It can powerfully support therapeutic processes, but one must know that Buddhist practice is not a substitute for, say, psychotherapy. And when pop-culture mindfulness fails to deliver, people often believe, what they did to themselves was Buddhism and mindfulness, whereas that wasn't Buddhism or mindfulness at all.

Hey do you have any advice for what to do when you're angry? Not at anything in particular but your just so mad and not doing anything about it makes your feel like it's being ground into dust. I hope I made sense, I don't know if this is an ASPD thing or not but I figured it's worth a try.
I do, though none of it is super effective without a bit of prep outside of the situation and also knowing your particular experience of this because the anger that has no target can come in a few different forms from what I've noticed.
There's true no cause, where nothing triggered you at all and it comes on seemingly out of nowhere. For me, this is usually a part of a symptom flare, either the peak of it or right at the beginning. Either way, this is usually how I notice it. This usually comes with the impulsive desire to break things/hurt people/similar. For this, I have a post where I've gone into it, but basically you want to have prepared some sort of thing you know will help in this situation because having to do any prep in the moment is going to make it fail. For some people, they can go things like go to a wreck room (place where you can break pay usually not too much to break stuff in a space where you don't have to clean it up) and that will be enough for them. For others, it can't be in a sterile room like that that's *made* to have stuff broken or it isn't the same. In that situation, you'll want an impulsive option that can be organic. Some people own cheap plates purely so they can go in a room and break them and worry about cleaning it up later. For that to work, you either have to live alone or live with someone who knows you have ASPD and are okay with this - or who are just super chill and won't be freaked out. Hear me out - that isn't for their sake. It's for yours. It will make it so much worse if during the thing you're doing to calm yourself, someone makes an issue out of it because now that anger *will* be targeted now - at them. That's not going to help bc now there won't be a safe way to get out the anger anywhere near as easily as if it wasn't targeted.
For that type, the biggest thing is allowing yourself to have symptoms and taking a harm reduction approach vs a total control approach. Total control there will not be easily achievable and you'll probably just p*ss yourself off worse n the process. So if you have things around you're okay with taking out anger on and a safe place to do it, then that's okay as long as it's your own property and no one is getting hurt (including intimidated, again just so that it doesn't escalate). I would avoid much external interaction when it's violent urges specifically bc it will upset you having to put in all that effort not to take it out on them.
Then there's the anger that technically had a cause at some point, but has moved past its cause. So kind of the "it's been a terrible day not because of any one thing but because of the combination of everything" situation? Similar to that anyways. For this, it's gonna be your basic symptom management techniques. Interact with violent media if that calms you down - true crime, the news, violent video games, action movies, horror/thriller movies, etc. along those lines. If that doesn't help you, maybe you have a music playlist that helps you feel good. It'll help to have that prepped too, bc the lull of finding another song will probably suck in that mindset. Something I call parallel distraction is helpful for this - where you're distracting yourself, but not forcing your brain to completely ignore it. You're angry and you let yourself feel that, but give it a direction to go in that's through catharsis rather than taking the actions yourself.
Those are the two I can think of at the moment. I know there's probably more but they are escaping me at the moment. If you/anyone has any explanations of the anger you're feeling/what symptoms and feelings are associated with it, I can probably give advice tailored a bit more to that if I've experienced it.
Any anger without a cause or target can acquire a target realllllyyyy easily because that makes more sense to your brain. The human brain doesn't like feeling something and not knowing why, so if it can make up a reason that is exactly what it will do. Your roommate comes in and tells you to turn the music down? "Ah, well I sure was trying to calm down but now? Now this anger is your fault and I'm not gonna waste energy calming down again when you messed that up for me." Because of that, you ideally really want to find coping mechanisms that you can do without having to cause unwanted interactions. For some people, specific people can help but you want to choose that. In general, in an ASPD anger flare - whether it's from something specific or not - you want to keep as much control over the situation as you can because unexpected things can push you over the edge past coping.
I apologize if this isn't as helpful as usual or there are typos; it's very late here at the moment.

God that Trump story is so fucked up. Choice bits:
Trump, he said, was almost “functionally illiterate” but did read the Page Six gossip column in the New York Post. He was “incapable” of reading a balance sheet, and any “act of kindness” would have been an accident, Epstein said
[...]
Epstein also alleged that Trump had an elaborate scheme to procure sex with his friends’ wives. He would call the men into his Trump Tower office to ask them about their sex lives and offer them sex with beauty pageant contestants, the pedophile said. He would do this while the wives were–unknown to their husbands– listening on speaker phone, so that he could then seduce the wives on the basis their husbands had betrayed them, Epstein claimed.
Epstein can be heard acting out what he alleged was Trump’s elaborate seduction technique to Wolff, using Wolff’s name and that of his wife, Victoria, to demonstrate it. Epstein said, “And he’d say, ‘What’s it like to do that?... Do you like having sex with your wife? How often do you have sex with her?’” Epstein claimed Trump would also say, “You must have had a better f--- than your wife, tell me about it.” Then, the pedophile alleged, Trump would say, “We can, you and I can go upstairs or tomorrow, come over, there’s this girl’s coming in from Los Angeles, part of the, whatever Hawaiian Tropic contest, so come over, we can have a great time. I promise you, Michael, you know, it’s just me and you, we can have a great time.” Epstein added, “The whole time, your Victoria’s with us on the phone.” Then he would use the wives’ anger to seduce them, he claimed.
[...]
The tape mixes sexual allegations with other aspects of Trump’s life. Early in the recording Epstein is heard to say, “You probably know he had a scalp reduction. He’s getting the same male pattern baldness that we all have. He had his scalp reduced. It’s hysterical.” Trump has long refused to release full medical records while his White House medical reports did not disclose any prior surgeries.
Lmao. Christ.

Unofficially back and things have been so… bad. Well.. for my mental health at least. Getting swabbed next Thursday only to get confirmation and debunk shit, while also dealing with Bf’s health issues. Still a little bit in disbelief he has an autoimmune disease, but I’m glad it’s not worse than that. It explains so much as to why he kept getting outbreaks of his lip sore (which is like 2 times a year).
Been speaking with my psychiatrist and my therapist and my psychiatrist has been talking about how I may be actually suffering from C-PTSD as opposed to just PTSD. She’s also noticed that I’ve become dissociative over time and honestly it explains why I feel so soulless and dead inside. Like… I would feel so much stress, anxiety, my depression would go full on to wanting to hurt myself and then… I leave. Like there is a part of me that is no longer here. Like it’s gone and I don’t think that part of me will come back any time soon, if not at all. You can try to put me in a stressful situation and I would not even react with intense anxiety, anger, or even sadness. I’m just numb to the bone. Idk. I’m just existing and not truly living. My therapist is a godsend and I really love how she helps me process my feelings (or lack thereof) and my thought processes. I’m truly thankful for my therapist and my psychiatrist.
It has been hinted (I feel like) that I may have BPD, but the way both my psychiatrist and my therapist explain it is that C-PTSD and BPD coincide together so it can be difficult to diagnose which one I’m possibly suffering from. I didn’t understand how that can be possible because one is a personality disorder and the other is some sort of traumatic disorder until I looked into it and I can see how I can be suffering from both. Idk though I’m leaning towards C-PTSD, because I don’t like the idea of having a personality disorder. Sure, it can explain a lot about me because I don’t understand why I can think the way I do and why I act the way I do. I just… idk. I don’t really wanna be diagnosed with that.
I’ve learned some grounding techniques, but I don’t want to be back and feel the things I feel when I am back. I remember for months I know I was at my rock bottom and I don’t want to feel that again. My sense of self is destroyed and I feel like I don’t even recognize who I am and who I’ve become. All I want to accept is that I’m a mom to a beautiful baby girl and that is it. I don’t want to feel the guilt, the anxiety, the anger, the depression, or the urge to kîll mÿsèlf.
Tumblr media
On the positive note, in total I have lost 25-30 lbs! I feel a lot better about my body, except for my chest. My posture has gotten bad due to my chest being big because of breastfeeding. Even when I completely wean off, they’re gonna be big and that’s gonna make me feel incredibly insecure. I’m thinking I might actually start saving for breast reduction surgery. I want to feel more confident about my chest while also having a better posture. Bf even supports me on this now.
Things have been feeling really off and weird for me. I don’t feel right in my body. And I haven’t been in a while. It’s like my mind and my body separated.
Anyhoo, here are pics/vid of me feeling myself even though I have mixed feelings about myself. 😌

How Can Adjustment Disorder Symptoms Be Managed?
Tumblr media
Adjustment disorder is a mental health condition that can develop in response to a stressful life event or change. It is a short-term condition that typically occurs within three months of the stressful event and lasts no longer than six months after the event has ended.
Adjustment disorder is different from other mental health conditions in that it is specifically linked to a stressful life event or change
adjustment disorder Symptoms
Sure, here are some common symptoms of adjustment disorder:
Feeling sad, hopeless, or overwhelmed
Anxiety, nervousness, or worry
Difficulty concentrating
Changes in sleep patterns (sleeping too much or too little)
5. Modifications in appetite (eating excessively or insufficiently)
Irritability, anger, or aggression
Avoidance of certain situations or people
Reckless or impulsive behavior
9. Physical signs include headaches or indigestion
Social withdrawal or isolation
These symptoms may vary depending on the nature of the stressor and the individual's coping skills. If you are experiencing these symptoms or other mental health concerns, seeking help from a mental health professional, such as a therapist or counselor, may be a good first step toward healing and recovery.
treatments
The treatment for adjustment disorder may vary depending on the individual's symptoms and needs, but here are some common treatments:
Psychotherapy: This may include cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, or other forms of talk therapy. A therapist can help the individual develop coping skills, identify and challenge negative thought patterns, and learn to manage stress.
Medication: In some cases, medication such as antidepressants or anti-anxiety medications may be recommended to help manage symptoms.
Stress management techniques: Relaxation exercises, mindfulness meditation, and other stress-reduction techniques can help reduce symptoms and improve overall well-being.
Social support: Building a strong support system, such as through friends, family, or support groups, can help individuals with adjustment disorder feel less isolated and more connected.
Lifestyle changes: Making healthy lifestyle changes, such as improving sleep habits, eating a healthy diet, and exercising regularly, can help reduce symptoms of adjustment disorder.
It's important to note that seeking help from a mental health professional, such as a therapist or counselor, is often the first step toward effective treatment for adjustment disorder. A mental health professional can work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your individual needs and helps you feel better.

Online Counseling for Parenting Issues: A Guide to Raising Confident, Happy Children
Tumblr media
Introduction
Parenting is one of the most rewarding yet challenging jobs, often filled with surprises, joy, and, let’s face it, a fair share of stress. But what happens when the challenges feel too overwhelming? That’s where parenting issue counselling online can play a crucial role. With platforms like Hopequre, parents can access help without leaving their homes, empowering them to address concerns confidently and effectively.
Why Parenting is Challenging
Parenting is a dynamic journey with unique obstacles at every stage of a child's development. Each phase has its demands from sleepless nights with infants to the emotional rollercoaster of raising teenagers. Today’s parents face additional pressures from social media comparisons, balancing work and family life, and navigating new-age parenting techniques. It’s no wonder many feel the weight of these responsibilities.
The Impact of Parenting on Mental Health
Raising children isn’t just physically demanding—it also takes a toll on mental health. Many parents experience heightened anxiety, stress, and, at times, feelings of inadequacy. For some, these challenges can be exacerbated by pre-existing mental health conditions like PTSD. Online counselling for parenting issues offers a lifeline, providing parents with a safe space to discuss their struggles and find constructive ways to cope.
What is Parenting Issue Counseling?
Parenting issue counselling is a specialized service in which trained counsellors support parents in managing the difficulties they face in raising children. This service is designed to address behavioural challenges, communication gaps, co-parenting conflicts, and mental health concerns affecting parenting. Think of it as a roadmap for better parenting—helping parents navigate their journey while building healthier relationships with their children.
Benefits of Online Counseling for Parenting Issues
The rise of online counselling has made mental health support more accessible and convenient than ever. Some of the top benefits include:
Accessibility: Parents can access help regardless of location.
Flexibility: Online sessions can be scheduled around a parent’s busy life.
Affordability: Without travel and other overhead costs, online counselling is often more budget-friendly.
Who Can Benefit from Parenting Issue Counseling?
Online counselling for parenting issues is suitable for a variety of parents, including:
New Parents: Those navigating the initial stages of parenthood.
Parents of Adolescents: Those dealing with teenage behavioural challenges.
PTSD-Affected Parents: Parents struggling with trauma-related issues that affect their parenting.
How PTSD Affects Parenting
Parents with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) face unique challenges. PTSD symptoms, like flashbacks, irritability, and heightened anxiety, can make the demands of parenting more difficult. Children can inadvertently trigger these symptoms, creating stressful situations that can disrupt family harmony. Counselling offers a way to manage these symptoms, providing PTSD-affected parents with tools to foster positive interactions with their children.
How Hopequre’s PTSD Parents Counselors Help
At Hopequre, PTSD-specific counsellors understand the unique needs of parents affected by trauma. Benefits of Hypnotherapy Sessions
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that harnesses the power of hypnosis to encourage positive change in an individual's life. It’s a treatment that has grown in popularity for its holistic approach to addressing physical, emotional, and psychological issues. The state of focused attention achieved in hypnosis allows the mind to become more receptive to positive suggestions, making it a powerful tool for personal transformation.
Here are some of the key benefits of undergoing hypnotherapy sessions:
1. Stress and Anxiety Reduction
One of the most well-known benefits of hypnotherapy is its ability to reduce stress and anxiety. Through relaxation techniques and guided visualization, hypnotherapy helps individuals enter a calm, focused state. This state allows them to bypass the chatter of the conscious mind and address deep-seated stressors, enabling them to feel more relaxed and at peace. For those suffering from anxiety disorders, regular hypnotherapy sessions can help rewire thought patterns and create a more positive mental framework.
2. Breaking Bad Habits
Hypnotherapy has shown great success in helping individuals overcome addictive behaviors such as smoking, overeating, or nail-biting. By accessing the subconscious mind, where habits are often ingrained, a hypnotherapist can help reprogram behaviors and replace unhealthy habits with positive alternatives. The treatment offers a gentle yet effective way to overcome addiction without the need for drastic interventions.
3. Pain Management
For those suffering from chronic pain, hypnotherapy can be a complementary approach to traditional pain management methods. Hypnosis can alter how pain is perceived by the brain, reducing discomfort and offering relief for conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, or migraines. This technique can also be useful for post-surgical recovery, where pain levels are typically high.
4. Improved Sleep
Sleep issues such as insomnia can significantly affect a person’s quality of life. Hypnotherapy offers a non-pharmacological way to improve sleep patterns by relaxing the mind and addressing any underlying psychological or emotional issues that may be disrupting rest. Many people find that after just a few sessions, their sleep quality improves, allowing them to feel more rested and rejuvenated.
5. Boost in Self-Confidence
Low self-esteem and lack of confidence can impact every aspect of life. Hypnotherapy works to challenge negative beliefs and self-doubt, helping individuals build a stronger sense of self-worth. By working on the subconscious mind, it allows for lasting change in how one perceives themselves, which can lead to improved performance at work, healthier relationships, and a more positive outlook on life.
6. Weight Loss and Management
Hypnotherapy is also used in weight management programs. Instead of focusing solely on diet and exercise, hypnotherapy tackles the emotional and psychological triggers that often contribute to unhealthy eating habits. By addressing these underlying issues, individuals are better equipped to make lasting changes in their diet and lifestyle.
7. Enhanced Focus and Concentration
For individuals struggling with concentration and focus, especially those with ADHD or learning disabilities, hypnotherapy can enhance cognitive function. It encourages a calm state of mind that is free from distractions, allowing the individual to focus on tasks and absorb information more effectively.
8. Emotional Healing
Many emotional issues like unresolved grief, anger, or trauma can be deeply embedded in the subconscious mind. Hypnotherapy provides a safe space for individuals to confront and process these emotions. Through visualization and suggestion, it helps in releasing emotional blockages, fostering emotional well-being, and promoting healing.
9. Better Control Over Fears and Phobias
Fears and phobias, whether it's fear of heights, flying, or social situations, often stem from deep within the subconscious. Hypnotherapy helps in addressing these fears by gradually desensitizing the individual to the triggers and replacing fear responses with calm and positive reactions. This method is particularly effective because it works directly on the root cause of the fear.
10. Boosted Motivation and Goal Achievement
If you’re struggling to stay motivated or achieve personal or professional goals, hypnotherapy can help align your conscious and subconscious minds to work in harmony. It encourages a shift in mindset, reinforcing positive behaviors and motivation to achieve your objectives. This can be especially useful in areas like career development, athletic performance, or personal growth.
Hypnotherapy offers a wide array of benefits, making it a versatile and effective tool for enhancing mental, emotional, and physical well-being. By accessing the subconscious mind, it helps individuals break free from negative patterns and habits, reduce stress, and achieve personal growth. Whether you’re looking to manage pain, overcome a phobia, or simply improve your quality of life, hypnotherapy provides a gentle yet impactful solution.

Many before-and-after photos highlight the dramatic reduction of these lines, revealing a more youthful gaze. Patients frequently express joy at being able to smile without feeling self-conscious about their appearance.
Frown LinesFrown lines can give an unintentional impression of anger or frustration. After Botox treatment, many clients report feeling more at ease and confident. The transformation is not just physical; it often uplifts their mood and boosts self-esteem.
Jawline ContouringBotox can also be used for non-surgical jawline contouring. Patients seeking a more defined jawline find success in subtle enhancements. Before-and-after results show a sleeker profile, helping clients feel more confident in their appearance.

Cancer Counseling in San Antonio: Support for Your Journey
Receiving a cancer diagnosis can be one of the most challenging experiences in life. The emotional and psychological toll that accompanies this news often leaves patients and their families feeling overwhelmed. While the physical aspects of treatment—chemotherapy, radiation, surgeries—are well-known, the mental and emotional health of those impacted by cancer is just as critical. Cancer counseling provides invaluable support to individuals as they navigate this difficult journey, ensuring that they have the tools and emotional resources necessary to cope with their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
The Importance of Cancer Counseling
Cancer affects every aspect of a person’s life. Beyond the physical symptoms, it can lead to anxiety, depression, fear, and uncertainty about the future. In addition, patients may face feelings of isolation, even if they have strong support systems, because it can be difficult for loved ones to fully understand what they are going through. That’s where cancer counseling steps in.
A trained cancer counselor can help patients process their emotions, providing them with a safe and non-judgmental space to express their feelings. Counseling can also help patients develop coping mechanisms for dealing with the stresses of treatment and provide emotional support throughout the process. In addition to helping the patient, counseling can extend to family members who are also affected, offering them tools for managing their own emotions and being a better support system for their loved one.
Emotional Challenges During Cancer Treatment
Patients in San Antonio undergoing cancer treatment may experience a wide range of emotions. The uncertainty of the future, physical pain, and the drastic changes in their daily lives can result in intense psychological strain. Common emotional challenges include:
Fear and Anxiety: From the moment of diagnosis, patients may fear the unknown. The "what-ifs" about treatment success, side effects, and their long-term health often lead to significant anxiety. This fear can become overwhelming without proper mental health support.
Depression: Many cancer patients face feelings of hopelessness, which can lead to clinical depression. Depression can hinder a patient’s ability to participate fully in their treatment, making it even more vital to address early on.
Anger and Frustration: It is not uncommon for cancer patients to feel anger—at their diagnosis, their circumstances, or the loss of control they may feel over their own bodies. Counseling helps individuals work through these intense emotions productively.
Grief and Loss: Cancer often forces patients to confront their own mortality or the loss of certain abilities or aspects of their identity. This grief process is complex, but with professional counseling, patients can find acceptance and healing.
How Cancer Counseling Works
Cancer counseling in San Antonio involves working with licensed professionals who specialize in helping cancer patients manage the emotional and psychological aspects of their diagnosis. The process typically involves:
Individual Counseling: This provides a private setting where patients can talk openly about their feelings and challenges. A counselor will guide them through understanding their emotions and developing strategies to improve mental well-being.
Group Counseling: Many patients find comfort in meeting others who are going through similar experiences. Group counseling sessions foster a sense of community and provide an opportunity to share feelings and coping strategies with peers.
Family Counseling: Cancer doesn’t only affect the patient—it impacts loved ones, too. Family counseling sessions help the entire family unit learn how to support the patient while also managing their own feelings and concerns.
Mindfulness and Stress-Reduction Techniques: Many cancer counselors incorporate mindfulness, meditation, and stress-reduction techniques into their practice. These tools help patients stay grounded and find peace, even in the face of adversity.
Benefits of Seeking Cancer Counseling in San Antonio
For individuals and families impacted by cancer, the benefits of seeking professional counseling are immeasurable. These include:
Better Emotional Resilience: Patients who undergo counseling often develop stronger emotional coping mechanisms. This helps them face challenges with more confidence and less emotional turmoil.
Improved Relationships: Cancer can place significant stress on personal relationships. Counseling allows patients and their families to communicate better and maintain stronger bonds, even during the most difficult times.
Enhanced Quality of Life: Addressing the emotional aspects of cancer allows patients to focus more on their physical health and well-being. By taking control of their mental health, patients can improve their overall quality of life during and after treatment.
Finding the Right Cancer Counseling in San Antonio
San Antonio offers a range of counseling options, from private therapists specializing in cancer care to support groups hosted by local hospitals and cancer treatment centers. When searching for the right cancer counselor, consider the following:
Specialization: It’s important to work with a counselor who has experience in cancer care. These professionals understand the unique challenges faced by cancer patients and can offer tailored support.
Compassionate Approach: Cancer counseling should be a safe and compassionate space. Look for professionals who prioritize empathy and create an environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your deepest emotions.
Convenience: Many cancer patients have demanding treatment schedules, so finding a counselor who offers flexible appointments—whether in person or via telehealth—can make a significant difference.

7 Key Insights for Navigating Divorce
Divorce is a challenging and emotionally charged experience that affects millions of people each year. Whether you’re currently facing divorce or contemplating it, understanding the process and knowing how to manage the various aspects can significantly ease the journey. Here are seven key insights to help you navigate through divorce with clarity and resilience.
1. Understand the Emotional Impact of Divorce
Divorce can be an emotional rollercoaster. It’s essential to recognize and validate your feelings during this time. The emotional impact can range from shock and sadness to anger and relief. Acknowledging these emotions is the first step in coping with them. Seeking support from a therapist or counselor can provide a safe space to process your feelings and gain perspective. Additionally, connecting with support groups or friends who have been through similar experiences can offer comfort and advice.
2. Legal Aspects: Know Your Rights and Responsibilities
Navigating the legal aspects of divorce is crucial. Familiarize yourself with the divorce laws in your state or country, as they can vary widely. Understanding your rights and responsibilities regarding property division, child custody, and spousal support will help you make informed decisions. It’s advisable to consult with a qualified divorce attorney who can guide you through the legal process, represent your interests, and help you understand what to expect.
3. Financial Planning: Secure Your Financial Future
Divorce often brings significant financial changes. It’s important to assess your financial situation and create a plan for the future. Start by evaluating your assets, debts, income, and expenses. Consider how the division of property and potential alimony or child support payments will impact your financial stability. Working with a financial advisor can help you develop a strategy to manage your finances effectively and ensure you’re prepared for the post-divorce financial landscape.
4. Focus on Co-Parenting: Prioritize Your Children’s Well-being
If you have children, prioritizing their well-being is crucial during and after the divorce process. Aim for a co-parenting arrangement that minimizes conflict and provides a stable environment for your children. Open communication with your ex-partner, establishing clear boundaries, and focusing on the best interests of your children can help create a supportive co-parenting relationship. Seeking the assistance of a family mediator or counselor can also be beneficial in resolving any parenting disputes.
5. Self-Care: Take Time to Heal
Self-care is essential during a divorce. Amidst the stress and changes, make sure to prioritize your physical and mental health. Engage in activities that bring you joy and relaxation, whether it’s exercise, hobbies, or spending time with loved ones. Practicing mindfulness and stress-reduction techniques can also help you manage the emotional strain. Taking time for self-care is not only beneficial for your own well-being but also sets a positive example for your children.
6. Rebuilding Your Social Life: Embrace New Opportunities
Divorce often leads to changes in social dynamics. Rebuilding your social life can be a positive and empowering step in moving forward. Take this opportunity to reconnect with old friends, explore new interests, and engage in social activities that align with your personal growth. Joining clubs, attending events, or participating in community activities can help you build new connections and enhance your social support network.
7. Planning for the Future: Set New Goals and Embrace Change
Divorce signifies the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. It’s a time to reflect on your goals and aspirations for the future. Setting new personal and professional goals can provide a sense of purpose and direction. Embrace the changes and opportunities that come with divorce, and view this period as a chance for growth and renewal. Whether it’s pursuing a new career, continuing your education, or focusing on personal development, taking proactive steps toward your future can lead to a more fulfilling life.
Conclusion
Divorce is undoubtedly a complex and multifaceted experience, but by understanding its various aspects and taking proactive steps, you can navigate this challenging period with greater ease. From managing emotions and legal considerations to focusing on financial stability and co-parenting, each insight offers valuable guidance for making the transition as smooth as possible. Remember, divorce is not just an ending but also an opportunity for new beginnings and personal growth.

Empowering Enchantment: Awakening Potential Through Energy Medicine with Leaders such as Jeff Glattstein
Energy medicine is a holistic healing modality that focuses on the body’s subtle energy systems to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Rooted in ancient traditions like acupuncture, Reiki, and qi gong, energy medicine seeks to balance and harmonize the body’s energy fields, offering a pathway to greater health and vitality. Unlike conventional medical approaches, energy medicine operates on the premise that disruptions in the body’s energy flow are at the root of many ailments. By addressing these energetic imbalances, it seeks to restore harmony and unleash an individual's full potential.
In recent years, energy medicine has gained recognition and credibility, particularly as more people seek alternative ways to complement traditional healthcare. This awakening to its benefits offers individuals not only a method for healing but also a proactive way to enhance their overall sense of well-being. In this blog, we explore the benefits of energy medicine and its potential to empower individuals on a profound level.
Understanding Energy Medicine: A Holistic Approach
Energy medicine operates on the understanding that the body is more than just a collection of physical parts—it is a dynamic energy system. This system includes fields of energy that surround the body, commonly referred to as the aura, and energetic pathways within the body, such as meridians and chakras. According to this belief, disruptions or blockages in these energy systems can lead to illness, stress, and emotional imbalances.
Holistic in nature, energy medicine doesn't just focus on treating symptoms; it aims to restore balance within the entire system. Techniques such as energy healing, sound therapy, and acupuncture target these energetic disruptions, allowing the body to heal itself naturally. Professionals like Jeff Glattstein mention that this comprehensive approach addresses not just physical discomfort but also emotional and spiritual concerns, creating a more integrated healing experience.
Enhancing Self-Awareness and Personal Growth
One of the most powerful benefits of energy medicine is its ability to enhance self-awareness and promote personal growth. As individuals work with their energy systems, they often develop a deeper understanding of their emotions, behaviors, and thought patterns. By clearing blocked energy, people can experience a sense of clarity that allows them to recognize limiting beliefs and past trauma that may be holding them back.
Incorporating energy practices into daily life can open pathways for personal transformation. Whether through meditation, chakra balancing, or hands-on energy healing, individuals become more attuned to their inner world. This increased awareness helps align their thoughts and actions with their true desires, fostering a sense of purpose and self-empowerment. Over time, this conscious connection with one's energy system can lead to lasting change and growth as highlighted by leaders such as Jeff Glattstein.
Stress Reduction and Emotional Healing
In today’s fast-paced world, stress and anxiety are common challenges that people face daily. Energy medicine offers an effective tool for managing these emotional burdens by releasing built-up tension in the body’s energy field. Industry leaders including Jeff Glattstein convey that techniques like Reiki, tapping, and energy clearing can promote relaxation, helping individuals release stress and anxiety.
Emotional healing through energy medicine also occurs by addressing unresolved emotions stored in the energy field. When emotional trauma is not fully processed, it can become lodged in the body’s energy system, leading to physical or mental health issues. Energy healing helps to release these emotional blockages, providing relief from deep-seated emotions like grief, anger, or fear. By clearing these energetic imprints, individuals can experience profound emotional freedom and a greater sense of peace.
Supporting Physical Healing and Vitality
Energy medicine has long been associated with physical healing, and many practitioners believe that by balancing the body’s energy, it can enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself. Techniques such as acupuncture, reflexology, and bioenergy healing work to stimulate energy flow, helping alleviate pain, improve circulation, and support the body's immune response.
Additionally, energy medicine can promote overall vitality. By keeping the energy field balanced and flowing, individuals can experience higher levels of energy and a greater sense of well-being. Regular energy work may also improve sleep, enhance digestion, and boost overall physical resilience as pointed out by professionals like Jeff Glattstein. While energy medicine is not a substitute for conventional medical treatments, it can serve as a complementary approach to support physical healing and boost overall vitality.
Expanding Consciousness and Spiritual Connection
Beyond physical and emotional healing, energy medicine offers a gateway to expanded consciousness and spiritual growth. Practices such as Reiki, meditation, and crystal healing help individuals connect with higher levels of consciousness, allowing them to access deeper wisdom and insight. This connection often leads to a greater understanding of their place in the world and the interconnectedness of all things.
By aligning with the subtle energy fields, individuals may experience heightened intuition, greater spiritual awareness, and a sense of inner peace. This spiritual awakening fosters a deeper connection to one’s higher self, helping to cultivate qualities such as compassion, love, and gratitude. In this way, energy medicine not only heals the physical and emotional bodies but also nurtures the soul, guiding individuals toward spiritual enlightenment.
Integrating Energy Medicine into Daily Life
One of the advantages of energy medicine is its accessibility—many practices can be incorporated into everyday routines. Simple techniques like grounding, breathing exercises, and visualization can be performed without the need for specialized equipment or a practitioner. These small yet powerful practices help individuals maintain a balanced energy field, even amidst the demands of daily life.
Working with an energy healer or practitioner, however, can offer deeper healing and insight. Leaders such as Jeff Glattstein express that regular energy healing sessions can help maintain energetic health, address imbalances before they manifest physically, and support long-term wellness.
Energy medicine is more than a form of healing—it is a tool for empowerment, awakening potential, and fostering holistic well-being. By tapping into the body's subtle energy systems, individuals can address physical, emotional, and spiritual imbalances, paving the way for transformative healing. Whether through stress reduction, emotional healing, or spiritual awakening, energy medicine offers a wide array of benefits for those seeking an integrated approach to health.

Reiki is a Japanese word that translates to “universal life energy” — a healing practice founded by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. Reiki healing involves a practitioner channeling positive energy into the recipient’s body through gentle touch or by placing their hands just above the body. This energy helps clear blockages, restore balance, and stimulate the body’s natural healing process.
Reiki healing is based on the belief that life energy flows through all living beings. When this energy is low or blocked, it can lead to physical, emotional, and mental health problems. Reiki practitioners aim to remove these blockages and restore the flow of energy, allowing the body to heal itself naturally.
Why Choose Reiki Healing?

What to Expect During a Reiki Healing Session
If you’ve never experienced Reiki healing before, it’s natural to wonder what to expect. At Sangeeta Healing Temple, our sessions typically last between 45 minutes to an hour. Here’s what a typical session looks like:
1. Consultation: Before your session begins, our Reiki practitioner will ask you about your current physical, emotional, and mental health to better understand your needs.
2. Preparation: You will lie down on a comfortable treatment table, fully clothed, while soft, calming music plays in the background. You’ll be encouraged to relax, close your eyes, and focus on your breath.
3. Energy Healing: The practitioner will begin the session by either gently placing their hands on or just above various parts of your body. The hands are placed over energy centers (chakras) to encourage the flow of life force energy. You may feel sensations of warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation during this process.
4. Post-Session: After the session, many individuals report feeling more grounded, refreshed, and peaceful. Our practitioner will provide insights and suggest any self-care practices to continue your healing.
