[Jack’s Parents]

Since there is no information on who Jack’s parents were before they died during the Zero Reverse event, I have come up with my own idea for them.

The mother: Hilda

During her teenage years, Hilda was a duelist from the poorer sections of New Domino City. Before Jack, she was the owner of Red Dragon Archfiend and faced many opponents with the card in her hand.

Originally, she felt contempt for the upper class and how they looked down on her and those like her. When she crossed path with Ange, however, she began to believe there was hope for a better future.

As a girlfriend, and eventual wife, Hilda was completely devoted to Ange. She was quick to fall in love with the other and took on a very protective, almost possessive, attitude towards her.

The other mother: Ange

Ange was a talented up and coming duelist from the Tops of New Domino City. Like most, she held prejudice towards those of the lower class and thought them as nothing more than crooks and troublemakers.

It wasn’t until she met Hilda in a small dueling tournament and faced against her did she begin to change her narrow minded views. After their battle, the pair soon developed a close friendship, which evolved into something deeper over time.

A strong-willed young woman, she abandoned her old life in the Tops and married Hilda. When she became pregnant, she sold her best card, Stardust Dragon, to help them get by. The woman who bought it was a researcher visiting from the Tops named Yuriko Fudo, Yusei’s mother.

The son: Jack

One night, Ange had a dream of a dragon made completely of crimson. It touched her stomach and its wings disappeared in a bright flash of light, the creature vanishing soon after. A few weeks later, she discovered she was with child. No one could understand how it was possible, but Ange and Hilda’s shock soon turned into excitement and joy.

Jack was very much loved by his mothers, often referred as their Little Prince. Even as an infant, he showed a strong interest in Red Dragon Archfiend and Hilda promised to give it to him when he was older.

On the day of Zero Reverse, Ange and Hilda put Jack into a small crawl space under the floorboards of their home. After making sure he was safe from the disaster happening around them, it wasn’t long before the couple met their end.

When things began to settle down, Jack was eventually discovered and taken to Martha’s orphanage. On his tenth birthday, she gave him a small box that was found with him. Inside was Hilda’s Red Dragon Archfiend card and Ange’s wedding ring, the only mementos he has of them.

In terms of personality, Jack takes the most after Hilda, having inherited her brash and confident attitude and devotion to one person (in his case, Yusei). Due to being very young when his mothers died, Jack does not have a lot of clear memories of them.

Female characters I feel I closely or somewhat relate to at the moment *Utena Tenjou - Revolutionary Girl Utena A great gal with a cool moral compass who the shit DOESN’T want to say “fuck gender stereo types” and become the prince who saves the princess? *Veronica Sawyer - Heathers the Musical I wish I could have been like her throughout my senior years at school, minus hooking up with a Yandere guy who wants to blow up the school because society sucks donkey balls. *Rapunzel - Disney’s Tangled Mostly because I’ve been reaquainting myself with Punzie’s canon due to the animated series. I get Punzie’s social awkwardness alot but I overall want to try and be a good person. *Ange(elise) Ikaruga Misurugi - Cross Ange Ange is basically me when I’m out for blood and am done with everyone else’s shit. Like there’s only so much I want to take and I wish I could be as strong and be as “look at all the shits I do not give” as much as she is. *Moana Waialiki - Disney’s Moana When you wanna stay put but your heart is telling you, you must go. Yup...I’ve been getting that alot. *Angelica Schuyler - Hamilton : An American Musical You want a revolution? Well I want a revelation. Another strong woman I love the shit out of. Also... you fuck with my sister/bestfriend I WILL FREAKING ROAST YOUR ASS. *Pearl - Steven Universe Awkward bird mom who wants to be cool but is just hella awkward and a million kinds of gay?
