my romance standards rose even higher after Richter didn't leave Anette's side when she was possessed by the goddess, he was there protecting her, even when his touch burned, he protected himself with ice but didn't let go of her.

Sometimes when i look at these scenes, my monkey brain can only go on Sekhmet looking at Richter in Annete body and being like
"Damn, i get it why this girl love him."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then there would be a moment in the Spiritual World where Sekhmet would go to her and say
"Girl, dont let this one go. This one is a keeper, and if you dont keep him, i will."
Then Anette keeps him for herself and only herself. No goddesses allowed.

New Rune Factory Frontier merch from GraffArt! They're finally getting their own cute little alternate outfits, with their theme being a rainy day. They're currently up for preorder on the EEO store, but should be going up on places like Amiami relatively soon. The Japanese side of Amiami already has them, at least.
The line-up includes acrylic standees, keychains, and a clear case featuring the new artwork.

ok ok
so I am currently in the last episode of Castlevania Nocturne, and herE are my thoughts so far :
First thing first, I truly love the show, I did enjoy the 7 episodes, however do I LOVE IT ? no.
Don't get me wrong I am a big fan, the animation is TIP TOP NOCH, but the pacing of the show feels all over the place, and some scenes were quite repetitive. To the point where I actually got bored—something that never once happened while watching Castlevania.
One of the things I noticed is, some dialogues were overly done, I mean, sometimes they talk about the same thing over and over, back in Castlevania the dialogues were weren't all so bravado, and we had multiple and memorable quotes, which isn't the case in Castlevania Nocturne.
For me, I missed the pure comedy and chaos while watching Nocturne. Instead, we got a whole lot of hero worship—because nothing screams true to the show like stripping away everything that made it fun in the first place.
What I’m trying to say is, Castlevania was so UNSERIOUS —everyone in it was unserious, and that’s what made it so FUCKING AMAZING. But in Nocturne, they decided to make it all serious, and guess what? It’s no fun at all.
Yet, I still enjoyed it—especially Juste. He, Alucard, and Richter were the only ones who had me cracking up and wheezing on the floor. Because, you know, they’re the only ones who still remembered what Castlevania was supposed to be—fun and unserious, unlike the rest of the show.
I loved Richter and Anette they were so awkwardly cute I CANT THEY ARE SO PRECIOUS AND LOVELY, Mizrak and Orlox need to have a talk and they also need a good fuck, also I truly loved how mesmerizing Alucard was and how every time he would bring up Trevor, Richter would be so uninterested.
anywho that's my take on Castlevania Nocturne, I will go on and finish it and I hope that they still work on it, because even so I would rather have this then no Castlevania at ALL.
xoxo EAT SHIT AND DIE

Okay, finally making a post about Castlevania Nocturne 'cause holy hell, was that good.
The characters are so interesting and 3-dimensional. The good guys have their faults and the bad guys have lines they won't cross. Like, Richter being this badass fighter, but also getting scared shitless when he sees Olrox and runs away. And even Olrox himself, who killed Richter's mom, but also doesn't really want Erzebet in charge.
All of the characters are hot, I'm just saying. Literally. All of them.
This show definitely stepped up with the LGBT representation, good for them
Edouard was so interesting! I was kind of miffed when I thought they killed him off, but them to see him turn into a night creature and still remember who he was, and even using his singing to encourage the night creatures to remember who they were and rebel, that was so cool!
Fighting scenes were top notch, absolutely stellar. I loved seeing new uses of magic, like Maria summoning animals and Anette pretty much being an Earthbender.
When Richter gets his magic back and Bloodlines starts playing, holy hell, I screamed. That was so fucking good.
Also screamed when Alucard showed up. Was literally like "My baby!" Ah, I missed my boy.
Overall, I loved this first season. Maybe the original Castlevania show is a little bit better, but Nocturne still fucking rocks. So hyped for season 2.

The penultimate episode of the season has an epic battle where one of the Game Soundtracks is Incorporated (Bloody Tears), the "supposed" final boss (Dracula) is defeated.
The final episode of the season ends with a belmont/magician pairing finally getting together and heading off on their own adventure, splitting from the main group (Trevor and Sypha), the world experiences a brief measure of peace with new threats looming on the horizon (Carmilla).

Because I’ve no control, I’ve already watched the new season of Castlevania: Nocturne. I’m shocked by what I’m about to say, but for me the second season is possibly the best season of the series, even considering the original.
Spoilers ahead:
RICHTER, MY FAVOURITE BELMONT, IN AVATAR STATE?
ANETTE POSSESSED BY A GODDESS?
RICHTER AND ANETTE IN GENERAL?
ALUCARD?
OLROX?
WHAT IS THESE TWO’S COMMON PAST? I NEED ANSWERS.
