i love that neil is canonically 5’3. like it’s easy to forget that he is also pretty small because of how much freaking aura this kid has in every room he walks into. i always forget that he’s literally like. he’s a short king. andrew’s known as the “tiny” goalkeeper but neil isn’t that much taller. yet he has insane presence so you kind of don’t even notice most of the time. and i love that he leans into things like his speed, his endurance, his agility when playing exy in line with this, as opposed to strength/size. it makes me love him even more.

during the off-season and after he retires neil is one of those people that just does every single fun run, marathon, race, etc. that he can find, even some of the big ones like the Boston Marathon or the New York City marathon - just for fun

sometimes the original foxes show up if they’re in a city nearby to cheer him on, andrew is always there in the background looking incredibly pissed off but he’s always so proud of neil at the end because even though Neil is running, he always comes back to him

kevin and andrew are genuinely such fascinating characters to me because we have literally never gotten anything from their pov's yet they remain two of the most relevant, involved, important and main characters in this universe, but all we've really seen of them are them from other people's perspectives. like yes, we have them from the perspectives of the people who love and know them the best (jean, jeremy and wymack for kevin, aaron, bee, renee and neil for andrew) but we still don't/can't know them fully because we have genuinely never read anything from their perspective. isn't that just insane.
