FASHION CREDITS: LADY GAGA FOR VOGUE HOMMES
Lady Gaga surprised the world when she appeared in drag on the cover of the Vogue Hommes Japan Autumn/Winter 2010 issue. The shoot, which took place at SHOWStudio in London, was shot by Nick Knight and was the debut of Gaga’s male alter-ego “Jo Calderone”.
Hair by Sam McKnight, make-up by Val Garland, nails by Marian Newman and styling by, of course, Nicola Formichetti with assistance of Brandon Maxwell, Tom Eerebout, Anna Trevelyan and Julia Dakin.
Jo has some pretty basic pieces in his closet, but this Givenchy Fall/Winter 2010 black leather tuxedo jacket might just be one for the ages. Check out those satin lapels!
The white crew neck T-shirt is by Uniqlo while the black dress pants come from Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2010 collection.
Next, we got Jo in this Dior Fall/Winter 2010 black suit with satin lapels and tailored fit. A white button-up shirt for a more formal appeal.
It’s by far the least flashy, but this is potentially the most amazing military-inspired coat I’ve seen and wouldn’t mind rocking myself this Fall.
Gaga Jo is donning a double-breasted leather coat with epaulettes from Giorgio Armani’s Fall/Winter 2010 menswear collection. The exact coat wasn’t featured on the runway.
In this BTS shot, the entertainer wears a vintage black leather biker jacket s/he paired with the metal spike headband from Andreas Eberharter’s fashion accessory label AND_i’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection titled “Totem”.
The incredible black patent leather platform lace-up combat boots, she wore throughout the shoot, are custom Dr. Martens.

Nase Zine 05 Exhibition & Zine Release Party
06.06.2017 @ Gstaltmeyrgasse, 12/1, 1150 Vienna
Nase Zine is a photocopy magazine (fanzine), founded by Deniz Beşer, La Garçonne and Muzaffer Hasaltay Du von Jetzt. It is published in three languages German, Turkish and English. We understand the Zine and its events as a point for a get-together of the Vienna based Turkish and post-migration subcultural scene. Topic of the Nase Zine's 5th issues is ''gender''. What does the social category gender mean? Why are these templates of separation and conflict existing? Is there such a think like ''normality''? What about the people who have to complete official forms and do not know if they should tick with "f" or "m"? What about the people who are overseen or especially perceived, because they do not correspond to normalized gender perceptions? How did the social construct gender changed its shape throughout the history? Which struggles and resistance did the also appear against this social pressure? Why are identity politics also functioning as an important tool? Of course, it is hard to give sharp and totally right information on this senstive topic but the the artists of Nase Zine's 5th issue will try sharing their ideas and thoughts freely. Artists: Ashley Hans Scheirl - Cecilia Tasso - Yela An - Dante Buu - Deniz Guvensoy - Marina Gržinić - I-Man Ithram - Nazim Unal Yilmaz - Grace Marta Latigo - Deniz Beşer - La Garçonne - Walter Ego - Duvonjetzt Muzaffer Hasaltay - Ivan Jurica - Pêdra Costa - Julischka Stengele - Hilal Can - Magoz - Onur Serdar - Mirabella Dziruni - Mirjana Mustra - Gözde İlkin -Nilbar Güres - Simon Barta - Veronika Eberhart - Fatih Aydogdu - Maiz - Andrea Haas - Jannik Franzen & Katrin Euller

FASHION CREDITS: “THE EDGE OF GLORY” M/V
Lady Gaga released the music video for her third “Born This Way” album single “The Edge of Glory” on June 16, 2011. It was directed by herself!
The styling was done by Sophia Phonsavahn and Brandon Maxwell with creative direction by Nicola Formichetti, makeup by Val Garland, hair by Frederic Aspiras and nails by Aya Fukuda.
LG only wore one main look throughout the video. Her whole ensemble comes from Versace’s Fall/Winter 1992 “Miss S&M” bondage-inspired collection and consists out of a studded vest top with strappy back and several accessories.
The heavily bejeweled and studded shorts are custom-made by costume designer JerMajesty in collaboration with Joshua Canady. Take a closer look here.
Let’s get to all these Versace accessories. Firstly, Gaga wore the vintage tortoiseshell S99 sunglasses. In the staircase scenes, we can see her sport a medallion-embellished orange leather beret.
Our girl is also repping a vintage version of the Palazzo chain necklace. Above you can see the same Medusa charm.
Her oversized Medusa medallion belt with studded leather is a rare vintage piece from the aforementioned Fall/Winter 1992 "Miss S&M” collection.
Four labels teamed up to create Gaga’s custom opera-length gloves with ring embellishments for the video. German leather accessory label Nina Peter Hautnah designed the heavily studded gloves in collaboration with Gregor Pirouzi (short version pictured above).
The studs were provided by Andreas Eberharter from AND_i. The gloves were further customized for the video by L.A. Roxx.
She completed the look with a pair of vintage Versace Fall/Winter 1992 Western calf-high black leather boots with golden toes and Medusa embellishments

FASHION CREDITS: LADY GAGA BY RENNIO MAIFREDI
Lady Gaga did one of her sexiest photoshoots for Maxim Magazine with the help of photographer Rennio Maifredi back in March 2009.
The talented Kemal Harris and Karla Welch styled the singer for the shoot. Make up by Sharon Gault and hair by Peter Savic.
Less is definitely more.
Gaga is looking seductive in an altered version of a vintage Tadashi Shoji black mesh teddy with guipure lace appliqués with a satin bustier layered on top.
Her two blue aluminum shin guard cuffs with rhinestone embellishments are by AND_i, the label by Vienna-based designer Andreas Eberharter.
She’s also wearing two broken skull diamond cocktail rings by Lydia Courteille.
On top of her bustier we can spot the Agent Provocateur Stelline silver glitter star-shaped pasties framed with Swarovski crystal studs and a trio of dangling chains with teardrop-shaped crystals in the center ($115).

Here, Gaga flirts with the camera while sporting an open-cup lace bra with satin bow details by Agent Provocateur. The closest model I could find was their Cendrillon bra.
Gaga rocks a vintage Carl Isken 1960 dated early Bundeswehr visor cap with red piping (pictured with green piping).
Lastly, Gaga rocks the patent leather Bubble mask Irish leather craftsman and accessories designer Paul Seville created...
...in collaboration with UK-based lingerie label Coco de Mer.
