The start of the Italian Lit(erature) Tournament (first edition) is getting closer, but first I want to post the general list of the authors partecipants.

The principal issue is that every literary canon is constantly changing, with more critical studies over the years. I've thought about it, read and searched, and the solution I found has two parts:

I will take the principal authors from this list, which in turn is based from the studies of Gianfranco Contini and Asor Rosa. The list is too long and many names are only chronicles and essayists, so I'll chose the principal ones, trying to balance between north/south Italy and male/female authors (taking into account that many authors that we study are men). As you will see below under the cut, the list is already pretty long, doing some math the challenge will be 2/3 months long.

Still, I recognise that this isn't 100% unbiased and fair, so I opened a free and quick google form when you can add a maximum of two authors that you don't see in the list. This considerable limit is to avoid having too many names - if in some answers I see more than 2 names, I'll take into account only the first 2 listed.

After much thoughts, I also chose to don't include living authors or authors death only recently (before January 2023). The reason is simply to avoid potential issues in the community, like bashing between fandom or admirers of some specific author, or going too far like offending some people near the author still alive or recently deceased. Maybe if this tournament will end well, a second edition could be made next year and maybe with the addition of living authors! (I'm already thinking to do an italian or european cinema tournament in the future but this is still in the draft).

Azt akartad, fogadja el mindenki azt, hogy te nem szeretnél feljebb jutni annál, mint ahol már évek óta megragadtál.

Pedig az elfogadás, Kedves, nem erről szól.

Mikor elfogadjuk a párunkat, úgy, ahogy van, az azért van, mert szeretjük és felismerjük, hogy jelenleg ez a LEGTÖBB, amire képes, VISZONT ez az elfogadó szeretet, amivel körbe veszem, nap mint nap segíteni fogja őt abban, hogy mennél feljebb jusson, fejlődjön, kivirágozzon, ezáltal a kapcsolatunk is, mind azzá válhasson, akivé képes, és szép lassan minden „mérgező“ béklyót együtt fel tudjunk oldani.

Azt el tudtam fogadni, hogy egykoron méltatlan és mély pontra kerültél, így váltál azzá, aki most vagy — azt viszont nem tisztem elfogadni, hogy te innen soha nem is akartál kimászni és soha nem akartad megpróbálni újra szeretni önmagad.

Mivel én szeretem és kiváltképp tisztelem önmagam, meg kellett hoznom azt a döntést, hogy külön utakon menjünk tovább. Egy ilyen kapcsolat bilincs, kalitka, börtön egy olyan ember számára, aki érzi, hogy ő most már, boldogan, szárnyalni akar és szárnyalni képes.

És hogy el kellett válnunk egymástól: ezt is SZERETETTEL el tudom fogadni.

Úgy gondolom, ez az írás rámutat arra, hogy a szeretetből fakadó elfogadás NEM foglalja magában azt, hogy belenyugodjunk ill. beletörődjünk abba, hogy valójában nem érezzük jól magunkat a társunk mellett. A kapcsolat mindig egy csónak, melyben két ember ül, és MINDKÉT FÉLNEK eveznie kell ahhoz, hogy ez a bizonyos csónak mindig előre és előre tudjon haladni.

Az elfogadás annyit jelent, hogy felismerem és megértem, hogy a másik ott tart, ahol éppen tart, és ehhez mérten nem tud egyelőre többet nyújtani annál, mint amennyit nyújt, viszont megteremtem számára azt az atmoszférát magam mellett, amelyben szabadon fejlődhet, HA AKAR.

Ám amikor látványosan nem jutunk feljebb, egyről a kettőre, s minket ez már lehúz, MÉGIS benne maradunk a kapcsolatban, az már nem az elfogadás hatásköre — hanem az már a ragaszkodás, a félelem az elengedéstől, a kényelem, a megszokás, naív várakozás , szorongás az egyedülléttől...

Fel kell bölcsen ismernünk, hogy amit teszünk, az mely pontig kitartás, és mikortól erőltetés.

WIP: The OCs of "Out of the Chrysalis"

So the fic I'm currently doing for HLAW...is a "Hana tries speed dating courtesy of Maxwell" fic in my P&Tverse haha, because I didn't want to have her plunging into her One Big Romance before getting the space to figure out who she is, sexuality wise, and finding a community of sorts.

One hc I always had was that Maxwell figured out Hana was interested in women by the time they became friends, and basically wanted her to have the experience of dating.
