Aside from her deep passion for eating cakes, the clumsy Ichigo Amano has never been successful at anything. After an encounter with Henri Lucas, a famous patissier, Ichigo's amazing tasting abilities—although unbeknownst to her—are discovered. Recognizing her talent, Henri offers her the chance to attend St. Marie Academy, a prestigious culinary school which specializes in desserts.

In spite of the fact that she is a beginner lacking skills, thanks to Henri's recommendation, Ichigo is placed in the topmost group with the "Sweets Princes." The princes, famous throughout the school for their magical treats, are Sennosuke Andou, an expert in traditional Japanese sweets; Satsuki Hanabusa, with a flair for candied flowers; and Makoto Kashino, a gifted chocolatier. Ichigo and the Sweets Princes, each accompanied by their "Sweets Spirits"—fairies who make patissiers' dreams come true—all work towards their goals in the competitive world of sweets.

Headcannons

Young Tsubasa and Misaki

When Tsubasa and Misaki first met when they were 3 years old, they didn’t get along at all and always butted heads with each other

Tsubasa found it difficult to adjust his new environment and not being able to see his family and very much missing his little sister, Hikari. That’s why threw a lot of tantrums.

They eventually got over their differences when Misaki smacked his head and nearly made him cry, scolding him for his attitude towards the kids in the class because of his tantrums.

Tsubasa cried first and Misaki got triggered and they both ended up crying together - Misaki hugged Tsubasa warmly…

Tsubasa was always rebellious (kinda like Natsume but less cold, just really naughty) and Misaki felt like it was her duty to watch over him so that he didn’t do anything that might end up injuring himself heavily and so they developed a really close friendship with each other

As they got older (around 10 years old), a lot of guys found Misaki really cute and attractive and the same for Tsubasa (he had a couple of fanclubs).

Misaki didn’t really pay attention cause she just wasn’t interested at all but the attention she got really bothered Tsubasa (especially one of the boys who pursued her fervently) but he didn’t understand what he was feeling and ended up lashing at misaki when one of their classmates confessed to her (he accidentally eavesdropped on the conversation)

Misaki was really hurt because of what he said and tsubasa sulked a lot - Kaname sassed the hello out of tsubasa for hurting misaki even though she did nothing wrong. Kaname gave his words of wisdom of being honest and communicating his feelings better otherwise misaki wouldn’t understand.

Tsubasa did, Misaki cleared the misunderstanding and said she’s not interested in anyone and that she finds boys annoying with a smile on her face - basically friend-zoned everyone and the misaki fanclub disbanded (but there are definitely closet fans out there)

Tsubasa felt a tiny pang in his heart but was determined not to give up - (Like the Patient Childhood Love Interest trope)

Everyone thinks they’re gonna get together but misaki always denied it, tsubasa just has a look on his face neither denying it or admitting it but that there could be a possibility in the future (see Picture 4, 5 and 6: When ya girl friendzones you.. oof)

At some point, these happened throughout their time at the academy:

A sick misaki

Misaki fell ill and had a fever - tsubasa took care of her and skipped classes to stay next to her, he went to Central town to get her a ‘get well soon’ kit. 

when she fell asleep cause meds got her drowsy, he stroked her hair and kissed her forehead gently. Megane took a photo (using a single-use camera, capturing every moment)… to this day, megane still has it and has made a promise to himself to only show during their wedding day…

How Tsubasa got his mark of punishment

Rui who started becoming interested in tsubasa heard of his affections for misaki (who never noticed or blatantly ignored it, treating it as a joke). Rui manipulated the people who didn’t like Tsubasa and were planning to harass misaki instead. 

Misaki decided not to say anything to tsubasa cause he’d end up blaming himself. But it steadily got worse to the point that she had some cuts and bruises on her skin when she entered the Special Ability Classroom one day.

Tsubasa, Megane and Kaname were concerned but she just said that it was just annoying flies and she beat them all up (which she did, singlehandedly) feeling proud of herself.

Tsubasa immediately stood up and walked briskly towards her and asked her what happened in a demanding voice. When misaki refused to answer for fear of what would to him if she spoke up, he grabbed her arm and took her outside of the room, trapped her between a wall and lightly punched the wall above her head.

“Misaki, I’m not kidding here. Tell me who hurt you.” He asked with a serious voice and eyes full of anger. Misaki held her tongue and looked away. Tsubasa clicked his tongue in annoyance and hugged misaki tightly.

Tsubasa managed to deal with Misaki’s harassers but got caught off guard by Rui and got hit by smoke alice, receiving the star mark under his left eye.

Misaki felt bad that happened, but he reassured her that it’s fine as long as it meant that there was no one harassing her. He also added that it looked pretty cool on him too to which she lightly punched his arm, “moron…” she whispered under her breath with a light blush on her face.

Last Dance and Christmas Ball

Misaki casually announced that she was going to dance with Tsubasa when she was asked b her classmates chattering on about the legend of the last dance. 

Tsubasa spat out his drink all over Megane’s face with a heavy blush on his face and frantically wiping megane. Thoughts went though his head, thinking that maybe misaki is reciprocating his feelings.

“Ah no, I don’t dance with people who have romantic intentions!” (Please refer to pic 6 for tsubasa’s face)

Everyone gave a pat or expressed their pity to tsubasa for being friendzoned. Again.

The first time Misaki dressed up as an angel, tsubasa nearly ended up having a heart attack. He was so nervous he couldn’t look at her straight in the eyes most of the time.

Misaki noticed this, grabbed his hand and lead him to the buffet area. Both eating to their hearts content and ended up hiding by the bushes with two trays full of food. The announcement came for the last dance and went to return the tray, washed their hands and danced the last dance next to the bonfire.

Tsubasa rested one of his hands on her slender waist while the other holding her hand gently as they swayed against the music, occasionally twirling her and pressing her up against his chest.

“Misaki… I wanted to tell you something… I… actually- really…”

Tsubasa ended up leading the both of them towards another couple, bumping into them and making misaki lose her footing.

At the end of the night, tsubasa’s ears were ringing as misaki yelled in embarrassment falling face first in front of everyone. Tsubasa promised to practice more so that she will never fall again. The implication made misaki blush slightly but huffed and said ‘whatever!’

Similar situation with Christmas Ball - tsubasa learned that misaki won’t see romantic events as romantic with him. But it makes him giddy and lucky that misaki chose him. He often gets death glares from other guys.

Love headcannons and I feel like there’s none for tsubasa and misaki - I find their interactions so cute and how whipped tsubasa is for misaki. You can tell how much he loves her

“Get back here, Y/N!” Tsubasa called, chasing you throughout the grounds of Alice Academy. He was beginning to lose his breath and his lungs were beginning to burn from the struggle of chasing after you. The chase had been going on for about thirty minutes.

You were tired as well but, being older and more fit, you still had the upper hand when it came to an endurance race between yourself and your kohai. Why were you being chased by the shadow manipulating middle schooler? Because Narumi-sensei was too caught up with cross-dressing work to catch you himself.

What had you done that made Narumi want you so bad? You turned Jinno-sensei’s hair pink. On the bright side, at least you didn’t try to burn it… this time.

“Get back here!” He called again, struggling to keep you in his sights.

You grinned, ducking behind a rather large tree and watching as the younger male passed by, huffing for oxygen. Once his calls had faded, you let out a sigh of relief, leaning back against the tree and closing your eyes. Your hand rested on your chest, right where your heart lay, beating fast against your ribcage. Taking a deep breath, in and out, you finally regained your normal breathing pattern.

“Hehe, sorry, Tsubasa, but you won’t catch me this time.” You chuckled.

“I wouldn’t be so sure of that!”

You looked up at the blue-haired male standing in front of you, breathing heavily with a grin on his face. “What – !” A gasp left your lips once you realized that you could no longer move. Looking down, you noticed Tsubasa’s foot on your shadow, trapping you with no way to escape.

His grin widened as he winked at you, “Gotcha!”

“Damn it.” You scowled, narrowing your eyes at the younger male. “That’s cheating, Tsubasa!”

“Is not!” He stuck his tongue out, “Narumi-sensei said I could use any means to catch you♥.”

‘Any means to catch me, huh?‘, You smirked, ‘Then I’ll use any means to escape!‘ “Can I tell you something interesting, Tsubasa?”

“Sure,” He blinked, looking curiously at you.

“I heard this joke awhile back. I wanted to share it with you, as a gift for being able to catch me.”

He nodded.

“If a girl with big boobs works at hooters, then where does a person with one leg work?”

“Huh?” He blinked, cocking his head to the side, a few strands of his blue hair falling into his eyes; he looked thoroughly confused. “Hmmm,” He put his hand on his chin, eyes closed and face twisted in concentration as he attempted to figure out what the answer was. He was determined too, but it was proving to be extremely difficult for the young male.

“Want me to tell you? I’m sure JinJin-sensei is getting impatient, waiting for my punishment to be dealt.”

He opened his blue orbs before nodding, “I can’t figure it out. Tell me, senpai.”

You nodded, a grin appearing on your lips. “If a girl with big boobs works at hooters, then where does a person with one leg work?” you paused, watching as he leaned forward, eager to hear the answer, “IHop.”

“….”

Complete silence, other than the whistling of the wind against the leaves on the trees.

He blinked.

Suddenly, just as you had predicted, the young male fell backward onto the grass, clutching his stomach and roaring with laughter that even the people in central town could hear. His eyes were shut tight, his grip tightening around his stomach as he kicked his legs into the air.

You grinned as your shadow was released, slowly beginning to move away from the boy before taking off running. You waved over your shoulder at the hysterical boy, your own laughter ringing out through the school grounds, “Thank you, Tsubasa ♥~!”

“Heh?” His laughter stopped abruptly, but his position did not change. He lifted his head, blinking in surprise before jumping up and resuming the chase. “That’s not fair!”

He was never going to hear the end of this from Jinno-sensei.

December 4th performances were cancelled. Actor Ken Tanabe tested positive for COVID-19 . Fortunately, he is asymptomatic and the rest of the staff and actors are negative.

- 12.18 ~ 12.20: Osaka (Cool Japan Park Osaka WW Hall)

December 18th (18:30) and 19th (13:00 and 17:30) performances were canceled. An actor reported poor physical condition and underwent medical tests including PCR. Performers tested negative for COVID-19, fortunately it was just a cold. Ken Tanabe is also back to the performances.

- 12.23 ~ 12.30: Kyoto (Kyoto Theater)

Presale: September 20th to October 4th at 23:59.

Einoshin Ito (Chuji Mikasano) will be in charge of the script and Ito, Rion Kako and Hirofumi Araki will be the directors.

First impressions of Symphogear XDU Global

... from someone who’s never played gacha and in fact didn’t even own a phone until as of 2 months ago

“Superb Song”. Personally, I’m fine with this choice of translation; I’m pretty sure it’s what the creators originally intended, too. But “Swan Song” still sounds much cooler, doesn’t it :P Also, this song. Goosebumps, every time...

“The latest game data (130 MB) will beIn the background downloaded” More downloads? Also, that “beIn” isn’t a typo, the words were weirdly mushed up against each other in the app for some reason.

Symphogear XDU OP! Noice. I’ve seen this before on YouTube, but it’s still really awesome. And it contains a few minor spoilers for GX (Carol and Elfnein and the Autoscorers), noting that for future reference.

Miku in this OP is just so cool! A scenario where Miku became a main Gear user, that would’ve been nice. Alas, canon, it was not to be...

Kanade and Serena are active Gear users in this too, noice. But there are two Gungnirs and two Airgetlams now?...

"Custodian”? Is... is this foreshadowing? Or just a translation quirk? Do Japanese schools even have custodians? (I thought the students do all of the cleaning)

Is this just one of those things where you have to be like “it’s part of the game mechanic” and try not think too hard about it?

Huh, and the Gear users and the Noise exchange attacks automatically?

Like... I barely need to do anything?

This reminds me a bit of the game mechanic in Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge, where the battle is mostly automatic based on your arrangement of chips in your “program deck” beforehand, and the only interactivity is your ability to slot in a special attack at any point during the battle (but you can only use your L and R chip slots for this, and you can only use them once).

Yay, battle won.

Okay, let’s read through some of these "Rights and Agreements” pages.

Skimming through the terms of service. Lots of this reads as generic lawyer boilerplate, not tailor-made for this app, but rather feels like it was adapted from some very standard and thoroughly vetted template. Like, there’s stuff in here talking about using a robot/spider/site search/analysis application, but doesn’t that only apply to websites? Can you robot crawl an app server?

And it talks about it being prohibited “posting photographs or the like of nudity with a high degree of exposure” but is it even possible to post photos in this app?

“a. a. Posting or sending messages for the purpose of buying, selling, or exchanging...” there are two a’s here :P
