Nyoka Information & Class

(Gonna assume that’s a typo. Meme here.)

Class: Who is your twst OC's classmate(s)? How would you describe their relationship? Did they have different classmates in previous year and did they get along?

Nyoka is a third-year student in Class D. The only other cast member who is in that class is the Malleus Draconia. Their relationship is… classmates. Will interact a bit inside the classroom due to circumstance, but not so much outside of it.

Small talk may be exchanged if Malleus or Nyoka has something to say. Nyoka would never disrespect royalty, so he treats Malleus accordingly. Malleus treats Nyoka with courtesy as well, as he’s expected to.

They will be paired up often because the rest of the class fears Malleus on principle due to his reputation and overall presence, and Nyoka can carry an unapproachable aura too despite his docile behavior. He’s not scared of Malleus per se, just reasonably cautious. He certainly wouldn’t willingly venture to Diasomnia, though. I can imagine Malleus in his weird-fae-way teasing an invite every now and then if Nyoka ever asks a question (like, say about the loud reptile who keeps escorting Malleus to class every day). It’s probably a real offer laced in mild ironic humor, but it’s hard to tell. Besides, a Savanaclaw student waltzing into Diasomnia? Absolutely not.

I’d probably describe the relationship as amicable. Not unpleasant, but neither really go out of their way to hang out. They’re both kinda stiff and dignified, but Malleus has a cheekiness that Nyoka lacks, I think. Malleus can be kind of in his own world, and Nyoka is just going through the motions. Reptile solidarity 🤝 Sort of. Not friends though. It’s not a thought that crosses their systems.

It’s hard to say if Nyoka ever shared a class with anyone else in previous years because I don’t really know how NRC is structured in that regard. It’s possible, but I can’t be sure with certainty. I won’t rule it out, so I’ll put a pin in it. Might’ve crossed paths with Rook though in previous years, for sure.

Inspiration: Is your twst OC inspired by any villains? Concepts? Anything Disney-related?

YES! Primarily inspired by Ushari the Egyptian Cobra, secondary villain in season 2 of “The Lion Guard.” Visually, though, I focused more on the real species and some legends attributed to it.

So artistic liberties were clearly taken. Blud looks more like an Indian cobra. BUT! I will let it slide because red/purple hues are more visually eye catching for a cartoon snake than black (and in some lightning, looks gold), so I can kinda see the thought process there. I didn’t wanna nix that red/purple entirely so I just threw Ushari’s og color scheme and pattern into Nyoka’s eyes and eye makeup. That was my compromise. My little subliminal bell to ring.

I think the closest Disney-ish related concept that I also incorporated in subtext is something I can’t articulate too well.

Maybe it’ll be brought up in some future material.

It was a sunny afternoon when yandere! dilf finally finished unloading his and his son's stuff into their new home. Due to work and terrible memories from his past marriage, he moved into a different town with his son to start a new life. He was just beginning to unpack everything when someone knocked on his door.

"Hi! I'm your neighbor! I noticed that you were spending the whole day just unloading stuff so I decided to make you and your son some lemonade!"

The voice came from a woman who had a jug of lemonade on a tray with a couple of glass cups to pour the citrus drink into. Yandere! dilf couldn't help but smile at the offer as his muscular hands take the tray from your hands as he sent a pearly white smile their way.

"Thanks! I really appreciate it. I'm yandere! dilf by the way," he introduced himself while his son hides behind his leg "and this is my son."

"I'm (y/n)! Well then, I'll see you around neighbor!" (y/n) then disappeared back into their house which was right beside his. At first, yandere! dilf thought that he liked them because of their kind gift but it was only going to escalate from there.

It really surprised yandere! dilf a few days when he met (y/n) again only in the most unexpected place. He was picking his son up from kindergarten when he realized that you were there, playing with his son.

"(y/n)? What are you doing here?"

"Oh! This is really such a coincidence! I happen to be your son's kindergarten teacher!" she explained with a bright smile on her face as his son came rushing to hug him.

"I was only playing with him since all the kids left already and I didn't want him to be alone for too long"

Yandere! dilf felt his cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"I'm really sorry about that. I've just been swamped with work and before I knew it, I was 2 hours late to pick him up."

You sent the muscular man a sympathetic smile.

"No, I completely understand... Does this mean that he's with babysitters most of the time?"

"That's what My plan is but well... it seems like I'm finding difficulty finding any babysitters in this neighborhood"

"If you'd like, I can babysit your son on the weekends? I happen to need some extra money but, don't worry, I won't charge a crazy amount. We're neighbors after all," she offered.

Ever since (y/n) offered yandere! dilf to be his son's babysitter, he only began seeing more and more of you inside his house. Yandere! dilf only expected you to take care of his son but you always seemed to go above and beyond. Sometimes, if the house was messy you'd try to clean it as best you could. Or maybe when you knew that he'll be home late, you'd prepare a simple dinner for both his son and him.

"Don't worry about it! Being a single parent must be really hard so I'll try to help you as best as I can!" That was always the kind of answer you would give when yandere! dilf feels bad for having you do all the housework.

Slowly though, yandere! dilf can't help but feel like (y/n) was acting just like a stay-at-home wife for him and he liked it. He can't help but daydream of situations where you were actually his wife. Situations where he was sharing a bed with you or taking you out on dates or sometimes to the extent of either their marriage or what their future children would look like.

Yandere! dilf might not look like it but, he was completely smitten. He was scared however of you finding out that he had a fat massive crush on you since he was at least 7 years older than you. This crush caused him to be obsessive and overprotective of you.

"What if she finds someone better? What if she is seeing someone?" Those were the questions that always made him have a small panic attack. He can't afford to lose someone so perfect; someone, who proved herself to be the perfect wife for him.

So, yandere! dilf would set up cameras in his house and ask you to babysit all the time. This would mean that he could always see you playing with his son through his phone and it always makes his heart swell with joy. He loved seeing how well you were getting along with the most precious little human in his world which only boosts the idea of how you were the only perfect person to be his son's mother and his wife. Not only that, but to take it one step further, he loved to buy you some treats or drinks when he gets back from work. The only catch is that they were drugged so you'd always end up falling asleep in yandere! dilf's house. (Y/n) never found it too odd though since you always connected it to you being too exhausted by playing with yandere! dilf's son all day.

(Y/n) falling asleep in his house was a big win for yandere! dilf too. The drugs that he used would make (y/n) fall into such a deep sleep it would actually be impossible to wake you up. This would mean that he can take as many pictures as he can and make you sleep on the bed with him before he has to move you to a spare room before you wake up to avoid suspicion. He loves it when he gets to snuggle your smaller body on his bed; a bigger plus if his son decides to join in. It was as if you three were already a picture-perfect family that yandere!dilf always dreamed of. His phone gallery is now filled to the brim with pictures of his son and you. His phone wallpaper is (y/n), there was a group picture of (y/n), his son and him set as his computer wallpaper, and there was a picture of (y/n) and his son in his wallet; acting like the perfect family he always dreamed of.

"Oh, good morning (y/n)! You fell asleep here again. Don't worry about it though! Here I made us all breakfast!"

Hiii, Lara pooks!! 🥰 I’m finally answering this ask that’s also been in my inbox since December (I’m sorry).

Not one, not two, but THREE works! I’m honored! May I say that the first one made me giggle because of how sassy he is? “Ya. The only problem? It’s a shitty plan!” I love this sassy mafia man! Also, God, he looks so good while telling whoever he’s talking to about their bad plan.

Okay, so when I first saw this ask, the second drawing on the bottom half of the first panel got me like??? 👀👀 Because I had noticed the green eyes in the previous ask from the half of the drawing comparing 25yr old and 35yr old Miguel. When I first saw the first ask, I thought maybe you were playing around with the eye color (green), and then you dropped this ask and I was like, “WAIT! This is actually a thing” when I saw that this Miguel has green eyes. And now you’ve revealed that he discovered rapture (in the latest ask you’ve sent, which I have yet to answer. I’m so behind with notifications🫠), so now I have questions that hopefully you’ll answer in future art! So, 25-year-old Miguel was working at a lab and he discovered rapture… And that’s why now in his mafia era, Miguel has green eyes! Did he take it willingly, or did something go wrong? And if he did take it willingly, why? How did he go from a geneticist to a mafia don? I have questions, Lara, and I hope we learn more in the future! 😭 🙏🏼

Also, I love the second panel so much! I love how I can tell 35-year-old Miguel looks so much more mature, not only by the white streaks of hair, but also in his face lines. Mwah! I loved that detail, and I need 35-year-old Miguel in my life, like yesterday, please!

I’m not gonna lie, the last panel had me barki- I mean, screaming! The way he’s sitting there, so powerful and handsome? Bout to ask if his lap is taken, or if I may take a seat. 😩 The hair? Sir, please, let me just run my fingers through it! Also! I hadn’t noticed mans has a scar on his eyebrow?! It’s only because of this colored drawing that I realize it’s a scar, and not like, something he decided to do to his eyebrow for himself (you know how some people specifically shave a line off?). Now I’m curious how he got it! Was it Kira? 🤭 Also, the way the light makes his eyes look so pretty?? I wanna gaze into them forever. 🥺

I'm trying to make my own IF story, if it's ok to ask how'd you come up with the ideas? Or how'd you build off it to make a whole (beautiful and amazing) story?

I've had a few ideas but get caught up in trying to make everything in one section fit, and then I feel like I'm getting no where

Hello Nony! I am so glad you enjoy GC, and am happy to answer that question as best I can. I'm free-styling here, so this will be a bit long.

For me, most ideas just sort of spring up, but they aren't full ideas when they do. GC started from a thought about a cursed MC. That was it. I just dwelt on it and sort of answered questions about it - where did the curse come from, etc... It grew a lot from there as I tried to answer questions about it. The nature of those details gave me my fantasy setting, which I grew as well. I just started small and found a place for each layer that I needed to add to the structure. This can take quite a while depending on what you're cooking up. GC had months and months of building and background before I ever started writing the actual story.

In this poll, the IF idea I had for "Shivers" was literally inspired by my brother-in-law. He actually has that nervous tick, and he jokes about it, and we tease him (good-naturedly). He says that his future gravesite must be under a parking lot or a sidewalk because people keep walking on it, lol. It just made my imagination spin.

The "gritty drama" idea from this same poll stemmed from one of my OCs. I just made a setting for her and then thought of the type of world she lives in and what I could do with it.

Other ideas I have had came from thinking of a cool "scene" while listening to music. Music is a great medium for me to help me think about my characters especially. Just listen to your favorite tunes and let your brain go wild.

It just sort of also depends on how you think. There's nothing that says an idea just needs to come to you, you can set out to find one.

I would recommend focusing on themes and genres that you enjoy reading as well. I am a long-time fan of fantasy, I have written several fantasy stories in the past, and it just feels comfortable for me. You are more inclined to think of story ideas in the niches that you love the most.

One thing I would highly recommend for IF's especially is that you make sure the MC is the center/focus of your story. Some IFs can feel like the MC is a secondary character, and the story is really about the ROs. They can still be great stories, but your reader is often looking for a personal experience in addition to the story and romances.

And just an aside that I think is important, since in the IF communities you see themes repeated, especially popular ones. Do not worry about if your story is completely unique. As long as you do not pluck ideas and words directly from others, it's okay. In the literary and entertainment world, truly unique ideas are very rare if not non-existent, but your version of it has not been told before. You also don't need an earth-shattering idea to make it interesting.

I am also a DnD player and I wanted to ask you, do you ever feel disconnected from your characters? I am currently playing a campaign set in Ravnica from Magic the Gathering and I absolutely love it (100% recommend as a setting as well) and I love my character Daphne, but for some reason the past few sessions I've been feeling very withdrawn and unhappy with my RP choices, I feel Daphne very far away from me If that makes sense? Have you ever experienced something similar? Would love to hear your thoughts on this!!

Wah thank you so much!!! 🥺 it's SUCH a fun concept I hope you'll enjoy it! Oh man, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling disconnected. It's such a bummer when something that got us so immersed and invested feels more distant. I've only played one campaign with the same character, so I'm not sure if I can give the best advice here. But yes, I do know the unfortunate phenomena! I'm actually struggling with the same thing right now so maybe we can figure it out togethaa. I'll answer more in-depth under the cut but if anyone else has tips, do feel free to drop them.

So yes, this all sounds familiar. Recently I'm just "going through the motions" of playing a character, without being immersed in them. Even if we still very much enjoy everything about the character or the game. Personally, I tried to pinpoint where this could come from. Is it an ingame thing, or is it something outside? (stress kills my creative drive) Has this campaign been going on for a while, have there been any exciting things happening with Daphne? Have you had fun opportunities for her to shine, was there anything that moved you? Just throwing some questions out there to help the wheels turning. I think bringing this up with your group and DM is also worth considering. Being invested in roleplay and your character is such a major part of the game (to me!) and maybe there's something where everyone can help. Be that giving you opportunities for dramatic or heartfelt moments, or simply hyping each other and their characters up around the game, not even just during sessions. But, onto the actual things that have helped me: I found a song that feels very Kasper to me, and I always try and listen to it before a session to get back into my PC's mindset and get that special spark and feeling back. Deep immersion mode... I also find creating art or writing around the character also very rewarding and exciting. I often see folks write a diary in character, or simply write up how their character felt after a session. I did that for a while after work -- and rereading diary entries with some very dramatic sombre music in the background brought a bit of that connection back, haha. Rereading notes for next sessions, or old ones is also worth a shot. What's your character all about and what's important to them? In the same vein I like to indulge in some Imagining, Daydreaming of past and future RP moments that excite me. Of course, all while listening to dramatic music...

Anyway I hope either you did figure it out in the meantime, or this helps just a little. Wishing us all to have fun, be crazy for our little OCs and sharing exciting moments and stories with each other.

I noticed that almost everyone in wbk has special person & tied in specific dynamic like "suonirei_togatomi_umetsuba_ endochika_hirasakokaji" meanwhile Sakura feels distant without fixated dynamic. I found all Sakura ships are just repairs . idk who should i ship him with ?

oh, okay, so this is a super subjective question. like, my answer is not the end-all, be-all, obviously, and most of it’s my personal preference.

I could, genuinely, make a solid argument for pretty much any sakura ship. I get what you’re saying about people have specific dynamics with each other, a la togatomi/umetsuba, that sakura doesn’t match. but if you’re looking for somewhere he fits, consider suosakunirei — Suo/Sakura/Nirei. that trio has a special relationship with each other, and they’ve both had individual moments with sakura (nirei is one of his first brushes with furin and suo is as much of a rival as he is a friend in the sense that sakura admires his skill and wants to better himself to match). from a canon standpoint, i.e. what i think is like, actually possible in the manga itself, Kotoha is a good pick. she’s the first person sakura gets along with in makochi, she goes out of her way to prod him into socializing, they have an interesting dynamic where Sakura clearly respects her despite her having nothing to do with fighting, and she’s genuinely happy to see him making a home for himself in her town.

for me, i have a huge bias for togasaku, suosaku, and umesaku. sakura’s influence on togame is obvious and has actual plot implications, Umemiya is a goal he’s striving for and someone sakura has a frankly obscene amount of faith in for what we know about him, and again, suo is that classic shounen position of being a friend and a rival both. i think his dynamic with all of them is worth exploring and not something to be written off just because they have a more… I don’t know. a dynamic that gets more attention within the fandom? because I don’t think you can really argue that the manga doesn’t highlight how much these people mean to sakura and vice versa.

hell, I can make a case for endosaku if you really want me to.

I don’t see anyone from sakura’s past coming to fill this supposed gap in his relationships. his home is makochi, and there’s no evidence he has any fond memories of his former classmates. it’s possible you might get someone else in future arcs that plays a big role in sakura’s development, and that might catch your eye. but I’d recommend taking a look at the available cast again because there’s a lot to enjoy with what we have.

you could even make an OC to ship him with if that’s more your thing and no one else appeals to you. point being, as I said, this is really, really subjective, and my tastes maybe don’t align with yours. which is cool! that’s part of what makes fandom fun! I hope you find someone to ship sakura with eventually, but until then maybe you can test some ships out? read some fanfic, look at cool fanart, chat with other people like particular ships and see what got them so interested in it. and if you wanna discuss this some more, feel free to come back to my ask box!

My vision of Pamenilia's role in this AU, right?... Hmm, quite a difficult question, since initially, as I wrote in that very post, anyone could substitute either her, or Orchids, or even ur OC in the place of a policewoman, but I really liked your vision of this AU, so I don't against her current role as a journalist and Orchid friend :)

What about the relationship between her and the twins... God, you know, I really love all sorts of dark themes, as well as drama, so I don't even know if I should describe it in detail or not lol

In short, between her and Veneer in this AU slipped... A certain spark (which cannot be categorically called love or hate). Pam, in my pure understanding, is a person who hates cheating more than anything else. Perhaps she was so influenced by her work as a journalist, or maybe these are more personal problems. The life that V&V built is based on deception. Their image, their life, is all one big lie. For Pam, knowing this is second reason why she takes such risks by opposing them. The first, of course, is the safety of her best friend, who was unknowingly dragged into this swamp.

Tbh, she would have liked the real Veneer personality (in the sense that she was crazy about him in canon, right?). They could have been friends if it hadn't been for the circumstances. And so... Who knows where all this will lead them. Clearly not in a bright future :)

As for Ritz, I also don't have particularly clear thoughts. Everyone can make him who they want 😄

Personally, as if by default, I consider him a news anchor, who he is in the canon. He periodically takes slightly provocative interviews with the stars, covers the musical novelties of this week/month/year, and all that.

Perhaps at some point in time he can get closer to the twins, just for the sake of sniffing out some interesting news. Actually, it seems to me that he knows a lot of interesting things about a lot of people, not just about twins. It's just that sometimes the mask of a relaxed dude just doing his job plays a good role for him))

Lewis was looking at her, he was a few centimeters away from her, she couldn't see him because she was turning her back to him. He stopped to look at her for a minute and saw Roscoe had shown her his belly. He didn't notice but he smiled. He went around and also bent down to pet the dog who, as soon as he recognized him, forgot about the girl and started jumping towards him. Soon they stood up and looked each other in the eyes, embarrassed. He didn't say anything to her, he looked at the entrance to the box and then at her. He set off and entered followed by the dog.

She took a moment and went inside. She placed her things on a chair and, when the team recognized her they turned their back to the two so they could argue in peace. They didn't want to interrupt the propitiatory rite.

-You still haven't told me your name-

-you never asked me, Lewis-

Damn, hearing my name with that Italian accent… such nerves. What nerves! That's so sexy said like that... wait, what?

He turned towards her and looked at her mockingly -So?-

-You haven't asked me yet-

Lewis licked his lips and broke eye contact to look into the air for a second. The team was ready to hear plates and knives flying.

He walked around her and put her "with her back to the wall", her back was turned to the wall but she was not actually leaning against it yet, there were still a few centimeters.

-What's your name?- he smiled sarcastically, lifting his helmet and holding it in place with one hand above his head.

-Melissa- she said, looking at the ground and then finding the courage to look him in the eyes. He smiled at her and felt himself blush. That anger!

-Did you come here again today to do a bad job, Melissa?-

The crew now also knew that girl's home address.

-Did you come here again today to have your ass striped by Max?- he then bit his tongue.

Something clicked in Lewis - I already have 7 championships under my belt, he's still on his third -

Melissa didn't know how to respond and apparently instinctively backed away. She found herself leaning against the wall and crossed her arms. She didn't know how to respond. –Well…- muttered.

-Well? Are you being a sheep? - Lewis chuckled to make fun of her.

-He's more charming than you- she moved her head slightly and looked like a cartoon.

-More charming than me?- he laughed, taking two steps towards her. Now he really had her back against the wall. –Have you seen the models and singers I went out with?-

-Now you're playing the lone wolf?- she no longer had intelligent answers. She had felt stupid when she started feeling his breath so close to her. She started to mumble something but Lewis silenced her with a kiss. He covered her with his back and no one saw anything, in reality they didn't notice the incredible silence.

It was just a small but full kiss. They were glued to each other. His breathing was no longer labored, angry. It was deep but calm. Instinctively Melissa had placed the palms of her hands on his chest and he took one with his still free hand while he continued to hold his helmet with the other.

He pulled away before the silence could become deafening and everyone could turn to look at them. He lowered his helmet again and with the visor raised gave her a satisfied look.

And he took to the track, finishing second again.

Which canon character doesn’t respect your OC(Kana) whatsoever?

One of the people with little to no respect for Kana would be Mukuro, for a justifiable reason. During the whole fiasco of Kokuyo Arc, one way or another due to an attempted possession, Mukuro thinks Kana is one of the prime examples of why the Mafia (and similar criminal organizations) should be destroyed. They certainly hate each other's guts (it wouldn't be too much to say that they'd want to see the other dead), despite having lots of similarities. It's really just that they're very different in this one aspect that matters a lot to Mukuro.

So far, I think the entire Kokuyo gang (except Chrome) dislikes Kana kdhdkdhdks

Which canon character does your OC(Kana) respect a lot?

For this one, one of these canon characters would be Yamamoto. They unexpectedly get along quite well and Kana likes how he just goes with the flow; if she lies about something, he just believes it and usually doesn't ask troublesome questions. Some of Yamamoto's behavior reminds Kana of Kurumi, incidentally Kurumi and Yamamoto's MBTI are both ESFP (makes sense). Hoho, a negative question for Kurumi. One canon character does come to mind and its Bluebell. This will be something from the Future Arc (though I don't mind revealing since its hilarious), but just from the first time they meet, something just did not click at all between them. This is an especially strange case for Kurumi, someone who loves-loves-LOVES cute people and cute things. She actually has no specific personal grudge over Bluebell or anything like that. And Bluebell is definitely a cute person. Yet, her overall vibe/demeanor and her arrogance reminded Kurumi of someone (not a canon character) very unpleasant a bit too much.

On the other hand, Bluebell hates her too lmao so the feeling is mutual 🫶 Please imagine two cute girlies smacking each other 🥰💖✨

Easiest answer is Naito. Easiest explanation is that he called her ugly so casually and in such a matter-of-fact type of way, it pissed Kurumi off instantly 🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭 But she still tries to not let her annoyance show too obviously, since having an angry expression won't be cute of her.

Meet my parasite OC, Neon!

They prefer to possess skeletons cause it's easier and hurts the host less, wear deep dark blue with lots of colorful glow in the dark neon accents clothes, the tail being part of clothing just like the cat ears hoodie, though it can act like the real thing because magic, just like their star sunglasses can display text or simple shapes.

They're a parasite akin to Fresh Sans, here's their true form:

-except they were born with a mutation that caused them to experience full set of emotions and high empathy, and thus had to figure out a more peaceful approach when it comes to hosts in order to keep their emotions at bay, which took some time throughout their life. Yeahh, they've dealt with a lot of self hatred and guilt due to what they had to do to survive. Eventually though, they figured out a working methodology, as well as mastered understanding and working with their emotions, instead of against them. Sometimes they can still have relapses of self hatred and guilt, especially if something or someone causes it, but they're doing much better now that they actually got their shit together. They switch hosts frequently in order to leave them in a somewhat recoverable state, as well as treat them with incredible understanding, accommodate them to the best of their ability, comfort them in their pain, take their thoughts and desires into consideration, even going as far as sharing control occasionally. When they're not desperate, they prefer to gain hosts by first befriending them and gaining their trust, so that they're more likely to hear them out when they reveal themselves and explain their situation, and after the person understands and feels sympathetic towards them, they ask if they could possess them for a few months or so, before they leave them so they can recover. And a lot of the time, it works! It works, because they tend to wriggle their way into people's hearts with their adorable, kind hearted, a little bit mischievous, but still caring nature, which causes people to feel bad for them when they hear how much they struggle with the inherent tragedy of their existence, and how much they care. Thus, that someone may just agree to it, maybe in the future if they're not ready at the moment, even when Neon makes sure they know what they're getting into, just because they want to help their dear friend. That kinda play style is surprisingly effective for Neon, even if time consuming and requiring some effort. It's impressive how they can just befriend and convince someone to let them possess them, just by being themselves. I think they'd be an interesting foil to Fresh, just because of that.

Of course, they can't always have time and afford to take no for an answer, when their host is in a really bad condition for example. That's when they instead choose someone with an already utterly miserable and awful lonely life, so they have nothing to go back to, and either offer them a deal to give them a break from all that in exchange for agreeing to possession, or once they got them pinned down so they can't escape, give them time to process, explain the situation and why they have to do this, answer their questions, reassure them it'll only be for a few months and they'll treat them good, list the bright sides of the situation, like at least they'll have a break from their miserable awful lonely life, and hey, maybe they can be of company!, trying to coerce them into agreeing and accepting their fate, giving them as much time as they need. And once they're somewhat ready, they possess them, trying to be as gentle as possible even though it doesn't do much, comforting them in their pain by for example hugging them in the mindscape and rubbing circles onto their back, saying comforting words, trying to get them to relax a bit and let go so they can take over control without causing them further pain.

Some more information about them:

They do put up a friendly funky chaotic over the top nonchalant slang induced persona akin to what Fresh does, when they do not feel safe enough to reveal themselves, or they just want to mess with people.

They share with Fresh the distaste for smoking, alcohol, drugs, and other intoxicants, though the same doesn't go for swearing. They are mostly chill with swears and not family friendly stuff as long as it isn't harmful, though they have the ability to censor in their arsenal, if they so wish. They also happen to be immune to Fresh censoring, which makes for some good quality chaos ngl xd.

They are Aroace, sex and romance positive/neutral as long as anyone doesn't hold any expectations over them or wishes they would feel the same way, either Agender or Nonbinary and using they/them pronouns, Infp personality type, and some degree of neurodivergence.

They can be quite mischievous, with them liking to playfully freak people out or scare them, though they wouldn't want to go too far, so they make sure to reassure the person they're messing with that they are in fact, just messing with them.

Over the years they've grown to understand their own emotions and emotions in general very well, so they're pretty wise when it comes to that. Heh, if faced with Fresh starting to gain emotions and freaking out about it they would be like: First time? They would be willing to give him tips if he's willing to listen, even if just so he can be a tinge of a better person.

Speaking of Fresh, I think they would feel unease towards him, and intense distaste when it comes to his uncaring approach. He's like a dark reflection of them, reminding them that no matter how much suffering their emotions have caused them over the years, they wouldn't actually want to be like him. When first meeting him, they would crank up their over the top persona to the max, with them not feeling safe around him, though quickly drop it and act more real after he assumes they're just like him, because his uncaring approach towards his hosts fills them with so much distaste, they can't stand him assuming they're the same.

... but unfortunately not in the near future. I'll say that up to the end of Varia arc, the two main plotlines (Myr in Namimori, or MIN, and Lidija + Anemone in the City, or LAC) remain parallel lines that meet only indirectly through the appearance of a particular OC who's able to move with relative freedom.

Because Dino will be important for the events of the MIN plotline, he won't be able to meddle with the LAC one at least until after Varia arc, where significant changes to the canon timeline will be made (namely much more time between the end of Varia arc and Tsuna's departure for Future arc, and subsequentially the earthquake that kickstarts Shimon arc). You can consider Varia arc to be the moment of "rupture" with the canon series of events, after that there will be much more room for the more original part of the fic. (And then there's the future episode! Wehee!)

So... will they meet? Probably! But not anytime soon. Sorry friends. Before she finds someone to love, I need to crush her little heart to pieces. Yes that's necessary. I don't make the rules.

This is kind of a complex question lol (I'm answering only for my FFXIV OCs or else this answer would be more of a novel than it already will be), also prepare for a very stream-of-consciousness answer.

So I have two OCs that I actually play who know each other: X'vahl and Lyra

Lyra Kisne is X'vahl's (and I suppose now by extension Erenville's) future adopted daughter. I originally made her just because "viera pretty I want one but I love my catte too much to replace or fanta him. Also I want to make a viera inspired by albino bunnies" but due to me always referring to her as "my sweet bean bun dóttir" and X'vahl already having strong dad energy what started off as a joke became me actually making her his daughter. In X'vahl's storyline she's still a child. I haven't worked out how he meets her yet since as of current MSQ he hasn't. I get around her being an adult in her save as her actually imagining herself older while listening to stories of X'vahl's adventures as WoL and putting herself in his place. She kind of exists in this weird nebulous age situation though because of it. Like in all my gposes with her, it is in the future and she is an actual adult, but her going through MSQ she is a child imagining herself as an adult. It is very obvious that I didn't make her with the purpose of being X'vahl's daughter in mind lol.

I also have a bunch of NPC OCs that also know X'vahl. All of his retainers canonically exist and know him (2 or maybe 3 of which are not canonically his retainers, but serve other roles in his backstory). Out of all of them Levi'ra is probably the one I've mentioned most previously.

Levi'ra Bajhiri (or just Levi, pronounced like Levy) is an old friend that X'vahl met when he first traveled to Radz-at-Han in his 20s. Levi beat the shit out of someone who was trying to harass X'vahl right after he made it to the city. X'vahl ended up also being implicated in the shit-kicking (despite only being the victim) so he and Levi got to spend some time being detained for disturbing the peace and that's when they actually got to know each other. Levi is/was (he is now retired after the Final Days) a dancer working in Radz-at-Han so he taught X'vahl combat dancing (though it was a struggle. X'vahl is not good at combat dancing). I realize that some of this makes Levi sound like he's a magnet for trouble and a little too eager to throw down, but he's not. Levi is a ray of sunshine that X'vahl desperately needed in a friend at the time since he was still struggling to climb his way out of his lowest point at the time. X'vahl lost contact with Levi after he left Radz-at-Han the first time, but after he returned on WoL business in EW, he's made it a point to keep in touch. Levi always refers to X'vahl as just "Vahl" (he kind of didn't wait for permission to call him that, he just sort of did it almost immediately and X'vahl was like "okay I guess that's fine."). Levi is also responsible for helping X'vahl make the bracelet that X'vahl gifted to Erenville under the condition that, should Erenville accept it, X'vahl has to bring him to Radz-at-Han so Levi can meet him. Levi is basically X'vahl's "big little brother" since he's younger than X'vahl but he's very much acts like X'vahl is his kid brother (Levi himself is actually the youngest of five boys and as he puts it, "My mother wanted girls, but instead she got me and my brothers. She gave up trying after me, but she loves us all the same.")

You said he won't work when he can survive well on his own, but does his dislike stretch out to even wishing harm on the guardians? Actually, does he know if a guardian dies, their Zone dies, too? How knowledgeable is he on the world of OFF's lore and how it functions?? Thirdly, does he have any friends I should know about? You drew him interacting with Project Goldfinch/Just Finch to break up the text in my first ask, what's their relationship? Does Bandit scam him to hell and back, or do they just casually chat every now and then? Fourthly, I VERY BRIEFLY checked out Ask Bandit and here are some observations I made: Uno, how come you ship him with Red from Animal Crossing? Is it cuz they both steal and resell?? If so, that's hilarious and I love your sense of humor. Dos, when drawing him with Elsen 7 I did not know Bandit currently resides in Zone Three, because 7 lives in Zone One. This whole time I was under the impression he travels through Zones for some reason lol? I guess that's my curse of having a handful of ECU Elsen that do that themselves lmao. Last but not least, not something Ask Bandit related, just generally speaking, would you like to see any future doodles I make of Bandit, whether he's interacting with my own OCs or otherwise? I modeled Bandit's gun after a Glock?? Kinda?? I didn't really reference a specific model, more like loosely inspired. I probably should create a prop-reference for it, but I haven't yet.

Bandit's dislike for authority does not stretch to wanting to take out the guardians. It would be counter-intuitive to his role as a merchant to kill off his customers by killing off the guardians. Bandit cares too much about profit, and although the guardians are annoying, without them he wouldn't have profit.

Bandit is fully aware on how the world of OFF works, it's inner workings, and other meta things.

Bandit will say anyone is his friend, even if they clearly hate him. Louis would be the only one that would truly think of Bandit as a friend (except maybe my elsen-sona, but they're a mary-sue type oc and should probably not be counted if we're talking in-universe/story lol)

As Finch is the protagonist in my game concept, Bandit will be the merchant selling them items. Finch is distrusting of Bandit, but sees him as a necessity in their mission. I do have an idea where Bandit does steal something from Finch to propel the plot, but who knows if that'll stay in the final lol

Bandit x Redd is a joke ship created by @brandy-elsen (tagging the account it was posted on and not your current account because I do not wanna waste a tag on this I am sorry Brandy AHHSGFG). All the credits to her for the comedic genius. I think you guessed right as to why that ship exists tho. I just drew it for that post because it met the "two pieces of fanart" criteria I set.

Bandit travels the zones, your initial assumption was right. He is only in Zone 3 on the askbandit blog because of the story being told on there. He's gotta refill his stock of sugar manually since sugar happens to be one of the things he cannot magically pull from his pack.

For Willow, it is a phoenix. Hands down. It's the one creature she relates to with her latest choices, so it's an easy pick.

Eva's is harder to pinpoint. I think she would straight up not have an answer. She'd eventually mention Will o' the Wisps when pressed, but there's no good reason other than wanting to be done with the question.

Addison however--. We run into a problem here. For the longest time, vampires were her favourite mythical creature. And, well, fuck. Those exist. Hell. She's one. Who's to say whatever she dubs her new favourite mythical creature's not an actual creature too? What she knows to be true has thus been severely shaken and just picking a new favourite mythical creature is hard, okay? Maybe ask her again in seven to ten business days.

🖊️ BALLPOINT PEN — does your oc have any tattoos? do they want any (more) tattoos?

Willow has a few of those very overdone tattoos you saw a lot of in the late 2000s and early 2010s, scattered about. An arrow, infinity symbol. She got them when she first moved to Amsterdam for her education and to break with her upbringing a little bit. She does have an outlined American pasqueflower on her ribcage though, because she never quite could let go of home.

Eva never had the ambition to get tattooed. Didn't match the family image, and she was too busy fitting in line and helping the family business grow to get tattooed. She only started acting out in her late 30s. She does have access to thinblood alchemy, though, so who knows what's in the cards for her in the future!

Addison only has one significant tattoo. She had at least one more tattoo planned, but she was embraced before the appointment had been made. The tattoo she has is the quote "you will be found" on her left inner upper arm, as a reminder of her big break in the New York theatre scene. She was going to get one to signify her performances in Phantom of the Opera, too, but never got the chance. There's a Daeva in her coterie who does tattoos, though, so maybe Maeve can hook her up, if the Phantom has not been eternally tainted by the violence of the start of her requiem.

God. Don't ask me this haha. My first DA ship was Fenris/Hawke and it still lives so closed to my heart, but Cullen/Lavellan got me into the fandom and Zevran/Tabris brought me someone very dear to me. I don't think I could ever judge any of them by the merits of the ship alone at this point!

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Hmmm more than I'd like to admit :/ Probably The Red Crossing Arrangement, which is an arranged marriage/Halamshiral still belongs to the elves AU. It took so much more world building that my ability to write it slowly petered out. The odds are high that it will remain at roughly 80k for the foreseeable future (unless I suddenly want to get back to working out trade routes and governance and commerce, which is what did me in; I'm good at world-building culture on account of the degree and all, but the semantics of daily life don't really interest me as much) (tragically, this means the Adalene and Elandrin fix-it portions of this story may never be published :C and this does honestly make me so sad :C)

Voice and characterization/internal dialogue. I've been told that the canon characters I write feel very similar to canon and that's something I'm really proud of c:

Physical space. I forget to define the setting very, very frequently. It's the next thing I want to focus on in my writing, actually, when I get back into it!

Eh. I think it can add flavor, especially in fantasy settings where the cultures and worlds are built dissimilarly to the real world. I don't think there's anything especially fun about not being able to discern what's happening in conversation---I think it's most effective when it's a handful of phrases that repeat (hello, I'm sorry, I love you, etc.) or when followed by a translation of some sort. As a lover of Latin, I especially find google translations very unreliable and often incorrect. Better to just italicize it and indicate it's another language, imo.
