wheatley spacecore and parsley wake up cool. robot god is confused why this keeps happening lol. senna puts her arms around wheatley in relief. they lean in ;-; teya is dead asleep though lol.

zen is glad their back. parsley went back to sleep, wheatley is a little confused how long he was out. he realizes he has a soul. android is being a jerk and wheatley isnt having it. android says he doesnt have a soul and wheatley stomps over pissed.

wheatley is going to hit him but zen steps in and seperates them. wheatley avoids senna and walks off :( long rest. also teya has scars now.

its morning! parsley is confused lol. zen happily informs him his soul left again lol. zen also made breakfast! how did he get bacon? god apparently lol. wheatley is solar powered! his batteries run for 1 year after storing!

senna preps teya's plate for her since shes all sore. parsley realizes teya is scarred. wheatley walks away from camp to soak in the sun. space core is just running around adorably. parsley gives it bacon but i dont think it can eat it.

wheatley is a little insecure so zen goes over and talks to him. he just says hes tired. wheatley doesnt wanna be hated. zen says its not possible to avoid that. someone will always hate you for one way or another.

wheatley asks why the god has a lot of warforged, but arent they organic made? zen says he had organic worshipers once wheatleys creators. wheatley doesnt remember who his people were. he thinks android would know but isnt sure he wants to know. god sent android with us in the hopes he comes to care about organics. (hard mode) then they talk about how to worship the robot god xD

we continue on the journey! zen stops us cause something is coming. nooo. the grounds shaking. its a giant! zen tells us to retreat! space core wants to climb it.... oh no. it bolts toward the giant. senna goes after space core to try and stop it. giant is big and angry. zen also runs toward us to try and stop us. the giant tries to kill us but FUCKING SPINGLEDORF TURNS IT INTO A STONE?! HES OLD AND ALIVE FUCK YEAH!!

spacecore loves his star robe lol. he wants stars and spingledorf gives him an illusion of stars ;-; he introduces himself with like a flare show lol. senna curtsies and dorf bows. dorf is excited to learn that sp is wheatleys son. this is so fun! teya and dorf talk about magic lol.

he says he had a talking skull friend and lost all his necromancy powers xD named lancelot?! hes from another world! he accidentally teleported to a different world and couldnt go back. he mentions nana xD he stops rambling and asks what were up to. mission from god! android tells us to shut up lol. zen also agrees darn. dorf is excited to see so many warforged. he asks if were all friends sadge. parsley says his name is also spingledorf lol. we tell him not to talk to android, cause hes an asshole. dorf says android is bad at insults lol.

spacecore pulled off one of the stars oh no. he tries to attach it to himself aww. it sticks there! dorf didnt know that could happen lol. hes on a quest to study a race of magical fish people? they have an ability to bring a god into reality?! can make gods?! (my internet got a little fucky here)

he noticed weird energy on teya and asks if shes healthy. teya has no idea lol. senna is worried :( dorf offers to look into this later. dorf wants our help! (HE HAS WISH AS A SPELL WTF) his magic shows the fish people are around here. zen says we can do this, we gotta get stronger! dorf joins the party! (hes level 20 jeezus)

senna tries to get teya to talk cause shes distracted. teya says the trolls talked about what we tasted like. they said teya tasted rotten. senna says it might be from the necromancy? teya says its all weird.

space core runs up to teya and starts tapping her. he forgets what he wanted to do and walks away lol. then it comes back and pats her lol. wheatley goes back in the tube cause addi goes eepy.

dorf notices that senna was a sorcerer! dun dun duuuun! she tries to deflect it being a cleric but it doesnt work. senna reiteritates she has not ever been a sorcerer. dorf just....doesnt pick up on anything xD

senna deflates and says she gave up sorcery. she says shes lived a long life, she no longer needs it. he says she has great capability with fire! senna just books it away from dorf. parsley tells dorf he pissed her off and teya tells him to give her some space. zen tells them not to stray too far.

teya goes to try and talk to her. she asks if shes ok and senna just mumbles that shes fine. getting angrier with every 'im fine.' she allows teya to stay.

dorf says he senses nothing from parsley lol xD parsleys lies that spingledorf is a common fairy name so maybe hes part fairy xD senna mumbles wtf are they doing back there? teya yells at parsley in sylven lol. senna is trying not to laugh at all these shennagins.

dorf points at a tree and it comes to life! an animated tree! fuck! the tree wants us to just leave him alone so we keep walking nice. spingledorf the dwarf and spingledorf the fairy (parsley lol)

parsley explain that sylvein is fey language so dorf should be able to pick it up. he asks parsley to teach him. senna cant understand but she KNOWS what their doing. dorf tries to say 'hello' to senna and she just starts praying lol.

dorf also apologizes for upsetting senna. she cant stay mad at him so she kneels down and gives him a hug xD puss in boots looking mf-

he mentions he met toriel! and the other members of the group! AND his cousin dans! (not yet cause other group but eventually) teya is fuckin SHOOK. she has a panic attack! senna helps her sit down.

parsley distracts dorf by 'teaching him more fey'. senna stays with teya to help her calm down. parsley takes the book away to close it and dorf fuckin loses it for a sec xD

senna is helping teya calm down from her panic attack. she calms down and apologizes for freaking out. senna asks if she wants to talk about it. senna says that tori was her sister. senna rubs her thumb over her cheek and says to take solice that tori is living a full life somewhere. senna understands missing someone that should be dead.

teya says wishes dont help. dorf naturally says he has a wish spell wtf. senna is like 'wtf you can do what?!' teya doesnt wanna hurt spingledorf though.

teya asks if tori is happy. dorf says she seemed happy. 2 kids. totally dating dans xD (now b team CANT see the group until dans and tori are a thing) she asks if events from there are similiar here. dorf says theres differences and hasnt met the others from that world. teya asks if her family is still alive. dorf says tori never talked about them only that something terrible happaned. says dans told him about tori's sad life while they were drinking. teya says tori caused that to happen here oh no xD

senna asks if he heard of parsley or senna. dorf says senna looks like someone from a violent religious group. (lol) senna distracts everyone and says we gotta find the fish people. dorf sadly remembers the religious groups name: The Noble Ember. whooo lore.

senna looks extremely distraught. teya rolls a history check but doesnt know shit xD dorf says they got wiped out a long time ago, but might be making a comeback. senna also then has a panic attack. she cant hear anyone shes just fuckin gone.

teya yells at parsley to stop spingledorf so he distracts him by asking him to find someplace to eat. he summons some doors!? it leads to a mansion?! parsley does NOT wanna go in there lol. he says we can bring food back for the others and dorf is confused. sadly you cant bring the food out. parsley tells dorf the girls cant go because their upset. teya says they need a moment. the doors disappear.

senna is totally freaked out, rocking back and forth saying 'i cant do this again' over and over. teya holds sennas hands awww. her hands are cold and begins to snap senna out of it. she touches her face and she melts in her hands and collapses into teya. she says she doesnt feel very well. dorf offers a place to rest and reopens the doors! senna is weary and grateful. teya helps senna up and leads her inside. parsley stays outside with the robots.

one of the servents helps support senna and gets her inside.

And then having anyone I love touch my hair makes me melt for real.

Don’t be embarrassed for having a “type”/it being “nice people”. I think that sounds really heal to y and good compared to me getting the bad boy of my dreams I always wanted as a kid and obviously carrying that drama that comes with having a “bad boy”. Good to try, get a little taste of, just not good to keep. Do it while your young and get it out of your system and all that in my opinion. Not saying I won’t go back to someone like that while I’m still young but when I’m older I hope I have people who are dependable.

In canon, nico doed at a younger age, so i didn't really get to fully flesh him out as a character until later on, when i started creating more details for afwtp and started fleshing the story out. HOWEVER. In the process of doing this i made him the silliest little guy and grew very attached to him and love him dearly and was like "NOOO HE DIES HOW COULD THE CREATOR (me) DO THIS :()

so, as one does, I made a nico lived au.

now, this is where most people would stop. This is where you'd be like 'yea this is a p good au!! It has nico!! He does not lose his silly and does not die!!" However i am a silly goose. So before i go further I think i need to explain who canon!Todd is, for context. So basically hes a stuck up bitch who id very much enjoy punching if given the chance (probably wouldn't just because i don tlike violence but you get the idea. Sammy canonically punched him in canon tho after he made some bitchy remark) and he's really annoying and stuck up and also homophobic and a bit ableist too you get the idea stuck up bitch in canon hate him sm blah blah blah whatever

So I have the genius idea of "wow wouldn't it be funny if we made Todd get attacked instead by godboi" and then cut off his leg for like. Idk funsies ig (/j) and me and crossie were having our fun or whatever and we were slowly coming up with how this would affect everything and whatnot and so i realized that nico and todd in canon would have the BIGGEST rivalry ever like todd would try to bully him and nico would be like "bitch PLEASE" so i made The Forest be a few weeks after school started instead of a few before and because of their rivalry we started talking about nico and todds dynamic and whatnot

this is where this au goes from 'okay this is a little absurd' to 'why am i like this'

i suggested todd/nico as a joke and it quickly spiraled into not a joke and now i ship them ao very much and they are the rivals to lovers ever and also todds dad isnt a bitch like in canon (he was never a bitch to todd just everyone else) ‼️‼️‼️

okay so first of

halloween isnt a favorite holiday of most of the boys

like they all ltr are towers and skyscrapers but these kids are absolutely terrified of it all

but you just really like the holiday bc of yanno, candy, scary stuff, and omg costumes!

so you were basically very hyped and excited about it and you were excitedly humming to yourself as the date grew closer

the boys were confused as to why you were actually happy and in a good mood but they didnt complain bc they love seeing you happy

the flowery aura makes them heart eyes

oikawa ran over and he stood behind you as you were distractedly humming to your clipboard

‘watcha doing, y/n-chan?’

he whispered to your ear

normally, you would shriek or flinch but you didnt and instead, turned and flashed him a grin

slowly the light bulbs turned on in everyone’s heads and they all had the same shocked look

it was clear the others were already regretting it and you got sad bc you did work hard on getting a reservation since this haunted house was the most haunted in this part of japan

your figure in front of them made them tear their eyes away from the scary windows which they swore had someone staring at them

‘come on, you guys! we’ll have fun! i promise! its not that scary!’

you assured but they still didnt look convinced

‘you know, i just,,, i wanted everyone to,, bond and,,, have fun,,,,,, and because halloween is my favorite holiday,, i thought i could share it with you all. but im sorry that i was selfish and,,,, did it even though you guys dont like it’

omg you were slightly regretting it already

kyotani refused to not be away from you so he was holding your hand while yahaba remained clutching you

the third years wanted to appear all tough so they took the lead but oikawa was screeching and screaming at the littlest things which caused makki to scream and mattsun to also scream and then iwa and everyone else

it was like a screaming train

you even heard kyo gasp multiple times and you tightened your grip on his hand to assure him he was okay and you were right there

everything was going smoothly excused the screaming and everyone was actually having a little bit of fun since it was funny watching everyone scream at the littlest things

‘NOOO!!!!!!’

‘WAAAAHHHH!!!!!!’

the many rooms had the actors and dear god they should be emmy winning by how they just stared at you all and still sent shivers down your spines

then the unthinkable happened

the flashlight that iwaizumi was holding started to flicker and eventually died, leaving you all stranded in the pitch-dark

there wasnt even any light above you so everything was just black

everyone stopped, your breathing being paused and no one made a sound

‘RAAAA!’

someone from beside you shouted in your ear and you screamed so loudly and in instinct, everyone bolted forward with no direction on where to go

kunimi and kindaichi were holding each others hands and ran also dragging along watari since he was holding kunimi’s sleeve and also yahaba and you and kyo

‘IWA-CHAN!!!’

oikawa instinctively shouted and they all held on to each other

mattsun expected to catch ahold of watari’s hoodie since he was behind him but there was nothing but air

‘uh, you guys?’

he wished and prayed and hoped your voice would answer back but there was silence

he shouted and makki trembled in fear

‘iwaizumi? oikawa?’

‘h-huh!’

iwaizumi grunted and my goodness was this really happening

everything was going too smoothly that something bad happening shouldve been seen from the get-go!

the 4 third years were thankfully with each other since they were already huddled up at the front but their kouhais were nowhere near them

‘iwa-chan! what do we do!’

oikawa cried and iwaizumi hit him to keep him quiet

‘shut up shittykawa!’

‘oi! stop fighting and think about this!’

mattsun quieted them down into shaking forms

‘the team is gone. theyre somewhere in this hospital and there’s a chance theyve strayed off the path’

makki shakily breathed

iwaizumi bit his lip to think of a plan

‘should we just go around and shout and scream for them?’

oikawa suggested but makki turned it down

‘no. that would ruin it for everyone else. we’re not the only ones in here’

‘i dont care about the other people! who knows what happened to y/n! i give no fck about strangers when she could be lost somewhere in this big ass hospital!’

they were stumped with no solutions so they just agreed to iwa’s suggestion

‘lets just hurry and get this over with and meet the people outside and get their help’

‘or! we can ask the staff in here, the actors, to help us! this is an accident’

‘you stupid or dumb? you think they would help us? its an us problem, not theirs, so theyre not going to abandon their post and look for them’

ltr maybe its the panic thats making them all crazy but they just settledon hurrying up and finishing the maze so they could get help

but the moment they turned to what seems to be a corner, they already managed to get themselves lost

iwaizumi felt around for the familiar texture of the rope which is supposed to be at his right but in the end, his hand reached nothing

‘fck!’

he shouted and scared the other 3

‘WHAT?!’

makki yelled

‘the rope. the rope’s not here anymore’

silence

then oikawa sobbed

‘oh my god im going to die’

he whimpered and makki sniffled

‘i wanna go home’

mattsun and iwa were the only at least stable ones and they finally resigned to defeat and grabbed their friends and walked to nowhere

on to your side!!

you and the others finally stopped running but the beating of your hearts still pumped at a fast speed

‘are we safe now?!’

kindaichi shouted and there was a chorus of confusion amongst the others

‘iwa-san?’

you checked and usually he would grunt but there was just silence

it was quiet and the familiar voice of oikawa was nowhere in sight

‘i dont know about you guys but my oikawa sensors just shut off’

yahaba pointed out and you gasped

‘where are they?’

kyotani refused to let go so you felt around with your left hand for the rope

to your relief, it was still there but the feeling of the missing boys outweighed it and made your anxiety levels spike up

‘should we call them? lets call them’

yahaba started but kyotani bonked his head

‘baka. they took our phones earlier’

the reminder of the confiscated form of communication meant that there was no other way you could contact the others

panic bubbled over kindaichi watari and yahaba while you kunimi and kyotani were busy thinking of something

‘i think theyve strayed off. if they didn’t, they wouldve heard us from up there’

kunimi mumbled

‘but where else could they have gone to?’

you asked and kyotani huffed beside you

‘we cant see anything. hell, i cant even see you. obviously theres probably a hallway they ran down to without even knowing they went there’

‘so youre saying theyre lost? without any way to contact us? what do we do?’

you whimpered, finally realizing and the idea of the others being gone settling in

‘this is all my fault. i shouldnt have dragged you here. i made a mistake-’

‘hey, dont freak out. im right here’

even though you couldnt see him, kenta maneuvered his way to cup your face and you felt his forehead press against yours and his nose nuzzling your cheek

the smell of cherry blossoms and vanilla with the slightest hint of sandalwood

kyotani’s scent comforted you and you were able to calm down

‘we’ll figure this out. its okay, you got me’

he whispered and you nodded

‘youre right here. we’ll be okay, okay?’

you giggled a little bit at the repitition of the word but smiled when he pulled you close to his chest

ugh i mightve already written a kyo route but that doesnt stop me from putting in kyo moments :”)

the other 4 were figuring out a plan that was eerily similar to the 3rd years

‘lets just finish this and ask the staff for help later’

they all agreed to kunimi’s idea and hurriedly gripped the rope to start going back to the path

you were in between kindaichi and kyotani with the former in front and the latter behind you

‘im right here. you got this’

kyotani would occasionally whisper and you were so grateful to have someone to be there

then the lights flickered and your eyes caught sight of something down the hallway to your left and you noticed a shadow

a shadow of a tall figure that was kinda familiar

‘y/n-chan~’

you flinched and the voice of your blocker filled your ears

‘mattsun-san?’

you were too focused on the voice to hear the others questions of what was happening

‘over here, y/n-chan~’

there it was again

‘mattsun-san!’

you shouted and bolted to the hallway where you were sure the voice was at and you were ignoring the shouts of the others and kyotani hurriedly ran after you

‘mattsun-san!’

you shouted again and you ended up at the hallway, with the lights still flickering but there was no one

kyotani panted as he caught up to you before snatching your hand

‘oi! dont run off like that!’

it seems the others were too scared to let go of the rope that they were fine if kyotani went after you bc he was strong so he could protect you both if needed

right?

kyotani is a bark bark woof woof boy not a priest

you felt his warm hand grip your again as if to signal that you werent running off alone again

‘i heard him i swea-’

‘to your left, y/n-chan~’

ok ngl im getting chills writing this

the flickering lights allowed you to see the shadow again and yep there it was

it was at the end of the hallway to your left and once you turned and saw it, it ran to the right

‘mattsun-san! wait!’

as you were going to run, kyotani refused to let you go

he placed strong hands to your shoulders and you looked up at him, your eyes manic

‘listen to me, y/n. youre hearing things’

he firmly said

‘i dont hear matsukawa or anyone’

you started breathing heavily, the air seemingly getting colder and thinner

‘you dont understand! he was right there! his shadow-!’

‘let her play a game, boy!’

matsukawa’s voice this time took a harsh tone and even kyotani jumped, holding you to his chest protectively

‘oi! matsukawa! its not funny anymore!’

your eyes looked over kyo’s shoulder and you saw the shadow again from behind him

‘please trust me, kyo! hm?’

you begged and he sighed

‘im holding on to you. im not letting you go again’

this wouldve been romantic if you werent in an actual paranormal story

you chased after the ghost and it would occasionally whisper in your ear to keep your attention until you ran into a pitch-black hallway

‘what do we do now, y/n?’

kyo whispered and you trembled

‘mattsun-san!’

you weakly cried, knowing there was a strong possibility he wouldnt answer back

but a loud screech from the far right brought hope into you

‘Y/N-CHAN!’

is that-

‘oikawa-san?!’

you shrieked and there was a trample of footsteps running over to you and naturally, kyotani pulled you behind him

then a hand made you shriek

‘relax. its just me, y/n-chan’

mattsun’s voice sounded clearer this time since he was right beside you and you hugged him

‘come on. everyone hold hands so that no one will get lost. we’ll take about this later’

iwa commanded and as the true leader of the gang, everyone followed his lead

there was a red sign with the most amazing word on top of it

‘EXIT’

it looked like a door that was only meant for staff but at this point, you all were desperate to just leave

as you reached the handle, the voice came back

‘aw~ leaving so soon?’

you turned around, halting mattsun and kyotani as they held your hands and felt you stop

‘show yourself. i know you’re not mattsun-san so stop using his voice’

you demanded and you turned, feeling a chilly air rush behind you

‘boo~’

it whispered to your ear and you eyes widened at the sight from further down the hallway

you could make out a mass of a body and at the top, there was bright red eyes and white teeth smiling menacingly

‘oh my god’

you whispered and the boys saw exactly what you were seeing

‘what is that’

oikawa whimpered

its mouth obviously moved as it spoke

‘are you leaving me, y/n-chan? so cruel~’

its voice was sickly sweet and sounded like a teenage boy’s but was so mean and hate-filled

you started sobbing and oikawa turned the door to run but it stayed put and didnt budge

‘you were so fun to play with~ are your friends fun too~?’

it looked like it was coming closer with a hand outstretched and you started shivering and your voice ripped into a scream

‘stop! go away!’

iwa mustered all his strength and ran against the metal door but it opened on its own, leaving the boy to land on the grass from outside

you were pulled by the others before it could touch you and you were already hysterically crying before the first and second years ran over and engulfed you to a hug

you were being hushed by the them and you tightly held on to someone’s arms

‘sshhh its okay, we’re right here’

you reduced to hiccups before looking around

‘w-where’s the other people?’

you asked, taking notice of the empty field

‘are we at the back?’

the boys shared a confused look

‘huh? what are you talking about, y/n?’

you looked at yahaba like he was crazy

‘the other people! the other people wanting to go in! and the doorguy! the haunted event! the haunted house!’

their eyes flickered everywhere to try and make sense of what you were saying but in the end resulted to just pure confusion and fear

‘y/n, we’re not at some event’

iwa started and your eyes widened

‘w-what?’

makki shakingly placed a hand on your shoulder

‘y/n, you dragged us here to go ghost-hunting. and there’s no doorguy’

your eyes flickered down as your mind tried to wrap itself with what was going on

‘what do you mean? i took you here for a haunted attraction! the doorguy took our phones and locked them in a locker, remember?’

you wildly waved your arms around but they still didnt understand

‘and the flashlight! and the rope! w-we had to hold on to the rope! the rope made sure we didnt stray off the path! bu-but the flashlight! the flashlight died!’

kunimi noticed the beginning of a panic attack so he pulled you close to him and made sure you could feel his heartbeat

‘listen to me, y/n. you took us here because we all lost a bet with you and this was what you wanted since its halloween and we trespassed to go here and there was no doorguy who took our phones because all our phones died the moment we got here and we saw a rope hanging from the ceiling and we had no flashlight in the first place’

he whispered to your ear and you pushed away from him, curling your arms around yourself

‘no! what bet?! i took you here for bonding time for our volleyball team! you were getting busy for inter high so i figured this could help you have fun!’

now that took the cake

‘what volleyball team?’

your eyes finally settled on your ‘captain’

‘what do you mean, ‘what volleyball team’, oikawa-san?’

totally disregarding the fact that you just called him by his last name instead of his first, he focused on what you were talking about

‘if you wanted to bond with the volleyball team, then you brought the wrong sport team over then’

oikawa scoffed, feeling rage bubbling inside him at the familiar players of the volleyball team

‘you shouldve brought over nagisa and rin and them, then, y/n’

makki bitterly mumbled and you were just so exhausted and tired and confused

‘WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT’

you bursted and started crying which ofc prompted the others to calm down and focus on you

‘y/n, love, we’re the swimming team, not the little ball playing game’

mattsun reminded and you shook your head, disbelief and utter fear present in your face

‘then-then! oikawa-san! give me your right knee!’

you ran over and he questioningly raised his leg

‘uhh,, what are you doing, y/n?’

kunimi asked but you waved him off, determination in your eyes

‘this should prove hes a volleyball player’

then you punched it really hard which resulted with a sickening pop

oikawa screamed

so its the first time michael has visited the house since vee told him about her regression. he was super supportive and understanding - honestly it made a lot of sense given what he had seen of her behaviour

and michael reassured her that he was okay with it all and that she can regress with him if she wants to. so before michael visits, vee purposefully doesnt hide any of the little items around her room as she had done every time he visited previously

and when michael comes in he sees the sanrio and winnie the pooh colouring books on her bed. he just smiles and asks if she was doing colouring before he got there

vee gets a bit shy because its so much more real to have him actually talk abt it openly, and she just shakes her head, blushes and starts to chew her nail

michael obviously notices her nervousness so he doesnt push anythinf and they just sit down on the bed to watch a cartoon - michael isnt into kids shows rlly but hes been watching steven universe with vee recently

and eventually vee notices michaels gaze has wandered during the show and hes looking at the bedside table - she looks and goes rlly red because she FORGOT that she left out a couple of pacis,

she looks up at michael kindve scared that hes gonna think its weird but he just gives her a soft little look and whispers "do you wanna show me them?"

vee squeaks and quickly hides her head behind his shoulder and he giggles "its okay we dont have to" and goes back to watching the screen

but vee is chewing her lip and fidgeting with michaels sleeve and then after some internal debate and a lot of nervousness she tugs his sleeve

so michael looks down at vee and she just,, points to the pacis silently

michael nods "yeah kitty, i saw the pacifiers. did you wanna show me them?"

and hes sounds kind, michael is always so kind, that she nods rly shy but clings to his arm tighter, not moving to pick the pacis up.

so michael reaches over and picks both of them up and puts them gently in her lap,

her fingers go to the lilac sparkly one instanty and turn it over in her hand and michael prompts "is that your favourite one? its definitely your favourite colour"

and vee just smiles and feels less shy and "um yea.. i think so.... but- but um i like all of them really..."

and she tells mimi abt all the different colours she has and how nice they feel in her mouth and she even mentions that she uses them when big sometimes for anxiety - she flips the dark blue one over to show him the clear teat and explains that one is better for chewing. thats why she has two next to her all the time so if shes little she goes for the softer cloudy teat and if shes big and anxious she uses the firmer clear one and it helps her breathe slowly

michael is actually super impressed and curious about that "oh! oh like oral stimming! like the chewy necklaces!" and vee smiles "yeah!"

then the convo abt the pacis goes quiet and vee is leaning against him and fiddling with the lilac paci in her lap, smiling softly down at it

then suddenly michael asks, sounding almost shy "kitty? can i maybe... ask you something?"

vee feels her heart stutter. she gets rlly nervos and her eyes tear up in a second because oh no hes uncomfortable he thinks its weird he's gonna ask me to never show him little stuff again oh no

she rlly quiet goes "mhm" and braces herself

then mimi asks rlly sweetly "can i maybe see you with it in? its okay if not i just kinda wanna see..."

vees cheeks quickly go hot and she pulls back a little to look up at him and check his facial expression

he's smiling a little shyly. "i promise its not because i wanna laugh or anything i just... i dunno i just wanna see, i think itll be cute" and hes a bit blushy

vee is completely thrown off by michael actually wanting to see her use her paci but,,, she hesitates then RLLY quickly puts the paci in her mouth and hurriedly covers her face with both hands

mimi giggles and says "aww vee, its ok! but i cant see you" and he rlly gently puts his hands on top of vees and she doesnt react badly so he pulls them away from her face and chuckles "hello kitty!"

at the nickname she slowly looks up at him and is sucking the paci noticeably now to help with the nerves. its bobbing in her mouth and shes blushing and her eyes are wide and michaels face instantly lights up and he coos "AWWW KITTY 💖" really gushing and adoring

vee breaks into a big big smile behind her paci and she squeaks and buries her head on michaels shoulder again as he tells her "vee oh my gosh, you look even cuter than I thought!"

"nooo mo mo" vee giggles embarrassed, itching to crawl into mimis lap but theyve never done that before so she just settles for wiggling her butt on the bed and pulling her skirt down to make sure mimi can't see her pullup

"yes yes! youre so pretty kitty~" michael says really baby talky and pokes her cheek softly (he knows she loves being called that) (she squeals a little)

michael doesnt draw too much attention to vee after that, after the little blushy giggle fit he asks her if she is regressed and she takes her paci out to say she isnt, if she was regressed she wouldnt be able to talk or really sit up on her own

so michael asks more about how she uses the pacis as a grownup for anxiety. and after talking about it they both simultaneously pause then go...

"do you think you might wanna try?"

"do you think it would make me calm?"

and then they both giggle and vee hands the dark blue paci to michael smiling rlly big and her chest is bubbly with excitement because mimi is making this feel so NORMAL and fun!

and thats why when patton walks into vee's room twenty minutes later with snacks and appl mango juice, he is greeted with the image of vee sucking her sparkly lilac paci and having fallen asleep on michaels shoulder, and michael just scrolling on his phone and spinning the blue paci in his mouth

patton actually immediately whisper apologizes, he thought that michael would be embarrassed and that it was meant to be a secret

but michael isnt embarrassed at all, he asks through the paci "oh hi pap! are bose cookiebs?"

pat nods and places the snacks on vee's desk then quietly asks if michael regresses too (he was totally ready to adopt btw lol)

but michael just laughs and takes the paci out and is like "nah i just wanted to see what it feels like but i dont think theyre for me. kitty sure looks cute with them though"

then he looks down and smiles at sleepy vee whos just blinking awake and she asks rlly quiet and high pitched "wh- mimi?" through her paci

michael giggles and looks rlly softly down at vee as he pokes her nose "im still here, kitty. you fell asleep"

and vee sighs and buries her face against his arm and suckles on her paci more

michael laughs and wiggles his arm to get her to stop faling asleep "vee no cmon your dad brought snacks! i wanna eat, get off"

and of course that makes vee cheeky and she wraps both arms tightly around mimis arm and closes her eyes as if she's asleep but shes smiling mischievously behind her paci

"nooo im hungry" "im theepy!" "no youre not sleepy you were already sleeping!" "till theepy" "youre not, youre hungry" "nop hungy" "YOU ARE im speaking it into existence your so hungry right now" "nooo thtop it!" "no i wont stop you are LITERALLY starving you want a cookie so so bad right now, you want a chewy sweet cookie and nice cold apple mango juice" .... "arrghhh now i wan cookieth and juith!" "hahahha"

and patton just watches on with the softest smile because hes so happy vee found such a wonderful supportive friend

okay not gonna lie i didnt cry as much as i thought i would. yes it was sad but i kinda already knew that jin fan and zhen nan werent gonna make it so i was more just FRUSTRATED AND ANGRY watching the whole thing and seeing them get random bits of screentime (YOURE TOO LATE IQIYI) but i heard rumors and then when i saw those goodbye videos they uploaded on weibo today....... my heart sank like oh goodness its real...... i cant live in denial forever.... I STILL CANT BELIEVE ZHEN NAN WAS FREAKING 61 AND JIN FAN WAS FREAKING UNDERAPPRECIATED WTFFFFF everyone on jin fan’s team im sure was rooting for him bc they knew how he was so vital to their success --- he literally taught them all the choreo wtf chen youwei would be nothing without jin fan..... ughhhh alsdkjalsdkjlaks this is so frustrating im so sad for him....... but now i just really wish jin fan and zhen nan do some really cool stuff and stay active while they wait for the others. i think its likely (sadly) that zhan yu will get eliminated the next round, (but im honestly surprised and grateful that the special teachers recognized his talent! he realllyy killed that ‘retreat’ stage even tho zhenning is getting all the attention) and lin mo is liked by iqiyi (i think) but i dont think he has enough potential to actually make it into the top 9... or maybe its just my wishful thinking bc i hope mr.tyger can go on promoting without jia yi, but without jia yi AND lin mo, itd get pretty rough for them, so if at least lin mo stays behind with mr. tyger, i think they could potentially still do somewhat well in the meantime while jia yi goes off to debut with the top 9 and they wait for him to come back

and now for my random predictions:

right now its rather fixed that wenhan, guan yue, and jia yi will make it. I think youwei, huaiwei, mingming, chunyang, wang jiayi are all likely, which means most of them will make it (but probably not all), and then xixi.... honestly i feel like xixi wont make it (BUT I REALLY LIKE XIXI) but i think iqiyi doesnt like him enough to give him enough screentime for him to make it (at least at this current rate....) also please note that YAO MINGMING WAS THE ONLY ONE FROM THE TOP 9 who did NOT get to go on that trip to leave dachang coughiqiyihatesmingming but luckily/hopefully mingming is popular enough to get votes anyway, LIKE MINE BC I VOTE FOR MINGMING). other than the current top 9, I think its likely either shi zhan or li zhenning or deng chaoyuan will make it. zhenning is the lowest of the three right now, but iqiyi likes him and hes gotten the approval of all the judges AND he was able to shoot up a ridiculous amount from pretty much just ONE DAY of voting (maybe a week at max, counting from the time they released the solo cams), and these votes have been tallying for the past month. so can you imagine how much more he’ll shoot up next time? he has a ton of potential to make it. shi zhan is already up there but iqiyi really likes him too bc of how hilarious he is, and jolin’s approved his smile so i can see him getting more and more screentime too. yao chi i think is also likely, bc he won 1st place visuals hahah that gets him attention from the public but also the staff, so i think theyll give him more and more screentime too. plus he has a touching backstory and mc jin has approved of him too. i think yao chi is someone who they’ve depicted as really humble and works really hard, and they like his smile. (who doesnt hahaha) but ofc there’s probably gonna be a lot of toss up in the rankings yet to come. from ip1 we learned that 70% of the kids were fixed from the start hahaha but 2-3 of them can come from behind, so who knows. iqiyi seems to really like cheche and wangzhe (how did wangzhe and wu chengze get to go on the trip to leave dachang but not mingming?? i mean i really like chengze tbh but i was just so surprised he was there! hahaha it seems so random bc hes #22?? i mean good for him but still)

anyway im all in all kinda all tired from watching a stressful 3 hrs lol but tbh i feel like they didnt show as much of the fun hotpot time as id hoped... and what about all the other rankings besides #1 visual? i dont really understand why they took a few random kids (who, no surprise, all dont get eliminated this ep) out of dachang for that trip.... i like a lot of those kids honestly, but id rather have seen more of the big group bonding / singing over hotpot (giving some of the kids who get eliminated some last screentime before they leave) or at least like find out who ranked in #1 boyfriend or something like that hahaha.... oh well..... now its time for me to go wallow in some mr tyger content so i can mourn the loss of our two children....

Sailor Moon

This is me everyday once I get home

For a second I thought this manga was way darker than it is. Anyway, I had never watched Sailor Moon before. I had heard about it, how could you not, but had never taken the initiative to watch it on my own. As I was reading it I was struck by how Usagi was either feminine (e.g she describes herself as being delicate) or other people say she should be more feminine (e.g. her friend tells her she shouldn’t be so gluttonous). And all of the heroines are pretty. I even made a note about female representation while I was reading (with Usagi copying sailor v before she became sailor moon).

So, when I began reading the followup texts and they were pieces on representation I wasn’t like, “Nooo, what? This is crazy”. But, with that being said, I did feel some amount of resistance to the way those papers portrayed things. I’ll start off with Beautiful Fighting Girls, because I hate it :). I’m willing to admit any possible misunderstandings on my part, if somebody wants to point them out. I think this text gets to me more, the more that I read it. The first time I read it, it took me a couple of pages to find something that bothered me. As I’m rereading it now, it only takes a few sentences. It’s when he lists off several examples of ‘beautiful fighters’ that have no equal in this world, and that it’s a form of expression unique to Japan. Except then a few pages later he says there are some exceptions and that he wants to say the beautiful fighting girl is not originally nor uniquely Japanese. I feel like the basework for his argument isn’t sound to begin with. Then he goes on to classify the vast majority of (presumably fighting) girls/women of EU/NA as having butch personalities with lots of muscle. Uh... what? Just as he claims that there are conspicuously few fighting girls, I notice that there are conspicuously few examples when referring to things outside of Japan. I’d be interested to see examples of what he thinks exemplifies a butch personality. Moving on, I’m pretty sure he mentions the virginity of sailor moon because he wanted to reinforce his point about otakus seeing these character as “objects of sexuality” but still... gross. And then I suppose the cherry on top of it all is that he puts a weenie on the girls. Why’s it always gotta be weenies with psychoanalysis? (Thanks Freud) Moreover I don’t understand why he felt the need to transform the “Japanese-style” women into phallic women. If the phallic woman is supposed to symbolize omnipotence/perfection or just be a symbol for a powerful woman, in what sense do the Western ‘butch’ women not fit this? Note: I don’t ask this because I want the author to recognize the United States of Butch as equally phallic women, rather I ask because I find the whole thing preposterous. I would complain about the second paper here, but there are many points where I can see their point. There are also a few points where I’m fuzzy on the author’s point, and I don’t want to criticize something when I know I don’t fully understand it.

So, with all of that out of the way, a small blurb about the OLs. When I lived in Japan I would go to this ramen place near the dorms all the time, it was my favorite place. Despite the fact that I went so often, I’m so bad at eating noodles. I would have to eat slowly or I would splash little bits of broth all around. I always felt bad so I would clean up my spot when I finished. 懐かしい感じなぁ。I thought the manga was really funny. I would’ve been happy to read a bunch of these.

~Chapter 26~ I just want to say I LOVED this chapter so much. Them making up and all the fluff 😚👌💕 My heart really needed that. Also how you describe Namjoon in your story is exactly how i think he is in real life.
