Was looking at refs and since Viktor has two different leg braces I was wondering, do we think he wears them simultaneously?? The refs don't perfectly line up perspective-wise so it's hard to tell but parts of the one he wears during the Hexcore scenes look like they could maybe line up with the brace that he wears over his clothes, but also some parts really don't and look like they'd be super uncomfy. Also HOW does he take these on and off. Experts weigh in

uhh I think I saw you once say you want to make dt puppets and i just wanted to know if you plan to do all the main ut characters first or will you just make them when you feel like it (especially since the new chapters are coming soon!)

Anon, buddy, I always want to make some puppet or other... And that WAS the plan, make the UT cast, maybe some other characters too if I had the motivation and drive... Making puppets takes a while so I want to WANT to make them, otherwise it feels like a chore which it SHOULDN'T be.

BUUUUT, gosh with Deltarune just around the corner I think that'd be really really cool. I'm actually so hyped!!! I could make at least a Kris puppet in celebration of the release!! I was actually just trying to draw them today!! Still figuring it out...

zoro seeing himself as a weapon for luffy, and it having an immense positive impact on him.

zoro wandered aimlessly, with motivation yet without direction, for many years before meeting luffy. zoro no doubt struggled with self worth and insecurity, just inherently due to his isolated backstory, the losses, and lack of joys his life had been subject to up until shells town. we can see this in moments such as, “if i fail to become the world’s greatest swordsman, you’ll be disappointed, right?” something small and nagging, a worry in zoro’s heart.

but then, in comes monkey d luffy. and this odd, perfectly enigmatic, son of a devil said zoro was joining his crew, and he needed no less than the world's greatest swordsman. luffy reignited zoro by giving him direction, a place to put his dream. luffy offered zoro a home for his ambition (himself), and zoro became the luffy’s swordsman.

zoro is the only dedicated fighter of the strawhats, everyone is something else: sanji is the chef, luffy is the captain, etc. zoro is the strawhat's weapon, existing to protect, and that eases his prior lifetime of insecurity.

zoro is a weapon, and the only thing more important to zoro than his life, said at the beginning of the story, is his weapons. while this has evolved through time, and i am certain the strawhats rank above his swords now, the point remains that his swords are incomparably important to him. wado is priceless in his heart, every sword left behind is a piece of his soul lost too. zoro being equated to a weapon? to zoro, that means he is irreplaceable.

wado is his treasure, and while i'm sure zoro is not the type of man to deem himself a treasure, i know for a fact he recognises the importance of needing a sword. his swords are his lifeline, his way of life, there is very little in the world that he values more than the three blades he brings into battle. and he is the strawhat's blade.

what a blessing, what a loving thing it is to be the strawhat's weapon. to be the deadly sword for the perfect haven that is his home. zoro finally has a place, he has a purpose, and he relishes in the idea of being a weapon for them. he would sharpen himself until he is the greatest because that is what luffy needs, what the strawhats deserve. he would hone himself completely, unafraid of any length he must go because he is loved, and it is how he can protect his loved ones. his heart would sing with pride when a crew mate looks for him to help them, hides behind him, etc, because they trust him to be their artillery. zoro cherishes being a weapon because he can be luffy’s weapon.

I’ve been having issues with this ‘it’s never too late to mask again’ rhetoric people have started using to try to get people to take covid precautions again because it’s a phrase that demands no accountability, no self reflection, no growth. Because unfortunately IT IS too late for MILLIONS of people who’ve been killed/disabled by covid and conditions triggered as a direct result of covid, and i think it’s disrespectful to those lives to allow people to just jump right back into pretending they care without acknowledging this enormous tragedy they actively participated in! Sorry but you don’t get to ignore a pandemic for 4 years and then wash your hands of the blood you helped spill through willful ignorance while claiming to care about social justice!

And it’s also aggravating because it’s SO OBVIOUS most of these people are only doing it because they’re afraid of how covid/bird flu/a trump health admin will personally affect THEM, not because they’ve evolved politically or actually care about their community. There’s no genuine solidarity with the disabled community, no self-reflection on their participation in eugenics and normalization of mass death/disability, no connecting the dots between disease mitigation (or lack thereof) and capitalism/imperialism/racism, etc. its just more individualism that ultimately does not help lead to collective liberation and will not prevent this from happening again.
