Hunting Spiders Part 1

A/N: Stepping into my oc's story with a BANG. Also if you haven't read Spider-man: Grim Hunt, you should, it's so good.

It is good to see Peter, always, but certainly not like this.

"We kick some Kraven butt right here; you gonna clue me in to what's going on?"

"Something besides that they have lost their minds?"

"Let's start with the butt kicking and negotiate the rest later...because frankly I don't have a clue."

The three of them leap into battle, Peter quipping, "Alyosha, right? Freddie Mercury called and wants his vest back."

"No jokes this time, Spider. This is the Grim Hunt."

Arachne offers a comment of her own, "And this is us tearing you a few new ones," as she faced the lady of the pair who chattered off in a delirious manner.

"Spyder, Spyder, burning bright, in the forests of the night..."

One of her knives slashes through the shoulder of Arachne's costume, though doesn't do much beyond surface damage.

"Watching with your saddened eyes, waiting in your web to die..."

"You've lost some marbles, lady!"

Peter wasn't doing too good in his fight with Alyosha, falling towards the rooftops with the other man making sure he can't swing to safety.

"You came to the party early, but I'll take the kill where I can get it--"

"Bull. I'm getting off this crazy train right h-"

Alyosha's gun goes off right then, battering Peter's ear drums.

He clutches his ears as he continues to fall.

That cleared the sinuses...but bye bye hearing. Except, what's weird...other than EVERYTHING that's happened in the last ten minutes of his life, is that he doesn't have the high pitched whine that usually accompanies hearing loss...instead--

He hears drums. Thick, slow drums.

Hands clasp Peter around the wrist, saving him from hitting the ground as Alyosha goes crashing through a skylight.

"What the hell? You're suppose to be the fresh one!" Arachne says.

"I'm having an off decade."

"Well, gather yourself, we need you."

"No, I think...we should..run."

"We should run," Arachne says in agreement.

As the three of them swing away, the woman berates the man, "Alyosha, YOU IDIOT! He's not ready!! Focus!"

"They've been at me since ten this morning. No clue how they found me, or what they want," Arachne says as they leap towards a roof

"I'm no psychic," Peter tells her, "But I think they want you dead."

"Guys-"

"I forgot what a jackass you can be. That's why we never dated. And you bit my costume."

"Glad to see you don't hold a grudge. And did you consider dating me?"

"Guys could we not do this-"

"You sound like hell."

Would you believe swine flu on top of everything?"

"God, were you a serial puppy strangler in a past life or something? What's going on here?"

"The fashion plates are Ana and Aloysha Kravinoff."

"As in "Kraven the Hunter." Got it. Why are they after me?"

"They are also pursing me as well."

"Not just you," Peter said, shrugging, "They're hunting Spiders," apparently. Which reminds me, I really have to get back to my apartment-"

"Not until we hit the why?" I'm not picking them up psychically, so hit it-"

"There ends my exposition, Julia...sorry. Maybe it's a revenge thing? Kraven offed himself because of me and they never really got over it."

"That's compassionate."

"It's the H1N1 talking, really."

Arachne crosses her arms, "Even if they are out for blood, it's not like we're "family." You sort of do your own thing, usually-"

"They kicked the living hell out of my clone."

"They went after brother?"

"You have a "clone?"

"Yeah, a couple- and for the record, I had them way before everyone was getting replaced by Skrulls. Talk about "biters.."

Arachne sighs, "God, you're stupid."

Peter sighs out his nose, "Yeah, I get that way when I start feeling like I'm caught up in something really really scary... Speaking of... Do you hear drums?"

"Actually--"

Peter whips around and lets loose a wide shield of webbing, "MOVE!"

Darts rain down on them.

Arachne tries to go for cover but a dart strikes her in the shoulder.

Alyosha crashes down onto Peter's back, hitting him feet first, "I know you won't believe this, but I think I feel sorry for you. For what's going to happen."

"Too late for pity, brother," Ana calls, whirling around her weapon, "It has already happened. Mother has seen to everything."

Arachne clutches her hand over her should, being careful of the dart buried in her shoulder, "Damn, I hate this kid...Spidey? I'm hit..."

Peter wrestles with Alyosha. They're too close to the roof's edge.

"Y'know...for a guy who likes big guns..." Peter grips Alyosha by his vest, and rolling back, lifting the other man with all the force he could bring, tossing him over himself and off the roof, "You have a real bad habit of getting too close. Your father would be disappointed."

Peter shoots a web across the gap, towards an attacking Ana, who's just started to throw her weapon at Arachne, striking her with it, blinding her momentarily, and cause he weapon to go off cross, Arachne ducking.

"Thank God..."

Below him Alyosha roars, screaming out in pain as he's pierced through by the large piece of metal that had been waiting below. Luckily for him, even if he doesn't not know it now, the wound would not be fatal.

"Now that sounds like the Kraven Junior I know," Peter says, almost mockingly, "A whining, screaming failure."

He fires webs at Ana, plastering her to the wall, "And you just zip it, freakshow!"

He leaps down to when Alyosha is pinned, demanding to know, "What do you want!? Why are you hunting "Spiders"? Why...? Why..."

Peter strikes, punching Alyosha across the face, though the punch is sluggish, "Why won't you leave me alone...?"

Peter feels dizzy.

Alyosha chuckles, "Heh...Wait until you see. You're going to love it."

Ana starts yelling as Peter presses his fingers to his temple, hearing those drums before again, "...Oh, man. My head..."

"PREPARE, SPYDER! THE END HAS COME!"

Peter falls.

He thinks about how Ana is still yelling in that little psychopath voice of hers, but he can't catch the words, not over the drums... and the thought that he might finally get some sleep.

It was yet another busy day for the people of New York. Not because of traffic, but more because of an attack by the Sinister Six. Enemies of Spider-Man, who was unfortunately not in the city due to being in space for another mission. Thankfully, the Avengers are here to help keep his home safe.

Abigail Stark aka Iron Maiden is seen fighting against Electro, who was trying to absorb more energy to overpower the iron hero. Kymera aka Black Panther is seen fighting against Anastasia Kravinoff aka the Hunter as the two are seen battling on the rooftops of the city.

Christopher Strange is seen battling against Rosalie aka Doc Ock as she had gotten her hands on a magic amulet that made her power rival with that of Strange. Lyra is seen going up against Jason Gargan aka Scorpion as she avoids his poison stinger and the venom he's shooting at her.

Alexis Wilson aka Captain America after James passed the title to her is seen flying in the air going after Alexis Toomes aka the Vulture as she avoids her sharp wings cutting her. Leaving Arthur to go up against the Rhino as the two juggernauts go at it, while Arthur is hoping to get things done soon so he can go see a certain lady friend of his who he met some time ago.

“Bai Bao, you are seeing what I am seeing just now?!” Mochi, daughter of Ring Ring & Pandabubba and Bai Boa’s girlfriend, whose is currently live with her girlfriend at her house for some circumstances. She is helping out her girlfriend and her parents by collecting chicken eggs for them. They found a dragon in one of the family’s chickens’ nest.

“Yeah, it is a dragon,” said Bai Bao is astonished by the dragon inside the chicken coop.

Mochi’s face remained composed, however, her blue-and-white hair rock back and forth as her mind is on autopilot. The futuristic city of Townsville is known to be a community attuned to supernatural and magic, it is also a safe zone for supernatural creatures, demons, and aliens. If Chase Young or any of the Heylin members found out that the dragon is there, not only her whereabouts be expose, but the dragon will be in danger of becoming Lao Mang Lone Soup. Bai Bao notice Mochi’s hair.

Bai Bao wonders if she should calls Phoenix Academy to send in Sarah-May, the only Xiaolin monk active at this school. They can keep it under control and not make it a situation that will caught attention in social media. But then Artemis Kravinoff will end up finding out. Or….

“Calls Xiong?” The daughter of Ching and Abyo suggested.

“Calls Xiong,” the demigoddess agreed with her girlfriend.

Mochi’s hair picks up the dragon with her hair and the two girlfriends goes inside, with Pom Pom following them to keep an eye on her master, her girlfriend, and the new addition to her chicken family.

Bai Bao, daughter of Abyo and Ching (Pucca), and her pet chicken, Pom Pom, and Artemis Kravinoff, daughter of Anastasia Kravinoff (Marvel) belong to @aprilbrowines.

Dragons do not build nests. Instead, they sneak their eggs into other unsuspecting species and let them raise their young instead. And this “chicken” that just hatched on your family’s farm sure doesn’t look like any chicken you’ve ever seen.

please tell me about your spidersona villains, i'm curious about them

Anastasia Kravinoff, AKA The Hunter, ruthlessly takes the place of her father, Sergei. Different from him though, she's on a mission to eliminate Mutants from the world (NOTE: "Mutant" in Earth-6283 means anyone who's body or genetics were severely altered after birth through artificial means, I.E. being bitten by a radioactive spider or coming in contact with cosmic radiation and gaining powers). She's merciless and cruel, but prone to one-track mindedness. Her brother is the current Kraven, Alexei, and she is actively trying to reclaim that title.

The Spider-Slayers, George Stacy and Yuri Watanabe, are the disgraced ex-cops who are responsible for the death of Webslinger's grandfather, SHIELD Agent Ross Stone. They, however, don't see things that way- Webslinger was a Vigilante that they had the responsibility to bring down, it wasn't their fault that a SHIELD Agent jumped in front of their bullets. Regardless, because of them, Styx escaped capture and a SHIELD Agent was dead, leading to them getting fired and reinforcing Webslinger's distrust in the cops. The pair went on to form the Spider-Slayers, who have been a constant thorn in Webslinger's side for 5 years.

Basic timeline for Devana leading up to the beginning of the game. There’s definitely a few more bits I want to add re her relationship with her mother, but this is predominantly it.

• Youngest child of the Kravinoff family & named after a goddess of hunting.

• Often sick as a very young child - earned her the much detested title of “runt” from her older siblings.

• Grew somewhat fixated on her father’s strength and hunting skills as she got older, and upon learning of Kraven’s ‘potions’ at the age of six, snuck into his office and drank one herself, wanting to prove that she could be “just as strong as he was” despite her repeated illnesses.

• While gifting her with the similar superhuman attributes to Kraven - after a period of days she barely remembers beyond pain and a raging fever - the potion also awoke the latent Inhuman DNA inherited from her mother, gifting her with the ability to take on similar physical abilities to various animals: eg, the sense of smell of a wolf, the low light vision of a tiger (thanks to Dima’s presence in the family), or the strength of a bear. Animals also appeared to view her as one of their own as evidenced by the pack of wolves that roamed the Kravinoff estate while she was near comatose during a snowstorm, who Devana informed her confounded parents “only wanted to see if she was okay” after she awoke, snuck outside, and was discovered with three of the pack treating them with all the affection of beloved family dogs.

• Devana would later describe this moment as the first time she can ever recall her father truly “seeing” her for who she was.

• Fascinated by the potential in his young daughter’s newfound powers, Kraven took to bringing Devana with him while traveling, encouraging her training with him and among his Hunters as well as exposing her to more animals to try and find limits for her abilities, though as yet there seems little limitation on the animal attributes she can recall and mimic save for things that would fundamentally alter her biology (she cannot, for example, grow gills to breathe underwater like a fish, but she would be able to hold her breath underwater for extended periods like a seal). She can only mimic two abilities at any given time (potentially three at a push) due to the level of focus needed to maintain these traits.

• While she did get along considerably better with Nedrocci as she got older, this extended time spent with their father particularly soured her relationship with Vladimir and Anastasia, her childhood title still often used with them, though “Daddy’s Favorite Princess” much preferred her father’s pet name of “Volchitsa” (she wolf/wolf cub). To this day, Devana is certain at least one of her siblings was responsible for hunting and killing some of the wolves on the family estate in Volgograd and leaving them for her to discover, if only out of spite for her apparent favor, though she was too upset by the discovery to find any solid proof. She ended up incorporating the pelt of one of the fallen wolves into her armour.

• Devana also proved considerably technically minded, quickly learning the ins and outs of the Hunters’ drones (both the TALON and BEAST variants) under Kraven’s tutelage of a true hunter knowing how best to utilize all the tools at their disposal, and made numerous improvements to their operating systems, network and mechanics to make them more efficient, which would later prove useful in her attempts to evade her sister following her father’s final hunt.

• Kraven discovered he had terminal cancer while Devana was working a mission for him in Egypt and though he initially tried to send her back to Volgograd, she instead followed him to South America on her mother’s request to try and get him to come home for what time he had left. The revelation of his illness was of course devastating to Devana (she was also sworn to secrecy about it by her mother as only her parents were aware of the diagnosis) but when she found out the truth of how he was seeking a worthy opponent to be the one to end his life, she agreed to help him if only to spend what time she could with him.

• Rather than refusing her and attempting to send her back to Russia once again, Kraven agreed to allow Devana to remain, much to the distaste of the rest of the family. She did consider, especially following his death, that he was only keeping her around to potentially use her and her abilities to provide him with the glorious death he had apparently dreamed of should another option not present itself, but she could never say for certain if this was the case.

• When the Hunters decided to go to New York for Kraven to truly begin his Great Hunt, Devana was part of the contingent who went ahead to make preparations for her father’s arrival in the city. She helped set up the manor just outside New York, worked on acquiring some of the larger Hunter bases around the city, and was also involved in planning and aiding in the capture of Vulture, Shocker and Electro. She also began putting together information on various other villains around the city for Kraven to decide who was worth the effort in capturing for his Great Hunt. However one of the other strike teams who had been tracking Sandman provoked what she viewed as “unnecessary unpredictability for capture” by allowing Marko to believe that they were responsible for something happening to his daughter.

Once the final shots were fired, a tall human woman appeared from above the trees. Landing behind the captain Klingon without making a sound. "A noble death you say?"

When the Klingon spins around she caught his arms and begins crushing them, forcing the captain to his knees. "There is nothing noble for such a weak prey," she spoke with a foreign accent.

She then grabs his neck and lifts him off the ground. "I had expected a species like yours to be worth hunting, but it seems all you've proven is how weak you are."

She then begins putting more pressure on the captain before she snaps his neck, killing him. Once he died she looks over to what the captain was doing before she walks over to what he was using to record his message.

Appearing to be near her 30s, with short blond hair, fair skin, green eyes, and a scar along her left eye.

"I am Anastasia Crawford Kravinoff and I have come to hunt," she then begins walking way into the dark jungle, while taking back her spear from the dead Klingon officer.

This planet Jason was on was once thriving world. A planet full of trees, water, animals, and people. All who lived peacefully on the planet, until a war broke out in this sector. This left the planet in ruins, all of its resources plundered, and its people nearly wiped out. Centuries have passed and the planet has been nearly forgotten.

Jason was told the planet was under the control of a group called the Klingons. He didn’t think too much about it and knew he would be out of here before they found out or one of their allies.

He walks over towards his prize. A box containing a valuable item that he knew would come in for a pretty penny…or whatever currency the people of this universe use. He walks over and begins to disable any security systems around, before getting his prize. He wipes away the dirt from it, opens it, and smiles when he saw what’s inside.

“Just like the buyer said,” Jason whispered before putting the box in his bag.
