Spider-verse oc #15: Anne Drake

Been a bit since we've done a venom oc, so here's Miss Anne Drake in her cutie of a two toned venom suit.

Its name is Annihilate [Get it, 'Anne-nihilate'] and it likes mint chocolate anything because it's eaten toothpaste.

Annihilate forcefully bounded with Anne after the spider-woman's supposed death by her universe's Vulture. The bond was not a pleasant one and only worsened when Anne was kidnapped by a cult who worshiped the symbiotes. During those years with the cult, Anne longed to either escape or die, but Annihilate, much to Anne's dismay, kept her alive as the symbiote couldn't survive without a host for very long.

It took some time, as Anne fell into a depressive state at being kept alive forcefully and used by the cult, but she and the symbiote learned to like each other, and eventually became friends, but the road there was rough.

She is currently see a therapist regularly and buying mint ice cream every Friday.

She has yet to tell her partner that she still alive.

We Like it When...

We like it when a character, who doesn't show vulnerability often, breaks down over something and it all just floods.

We like seeing a tough character just lose it, and lets the tears come out, and it's the worst thing you could ever see.

It's the pinnacle of raw. Like you see it and you feel like you just saw something you shouldn't have. Like you feel like you should look away, but you can't.

Plot: The universe Mimic lives in is two months away from collapsing, due to him replacing the former Spider-man (doing what mimics do best), even though it was cannon set that he was going to die and Spider-man wouldn't exist in that world anymore.

Mimic changed cannon by becoming the former Spider-man, living his life.

Miguel is either going to capture Mimic, try to talk it into stopping on its own, or kill it, it's up to you.

Mistakes

A/N: Making stuff for a vampire Miguel in a spider vampire au we plotted out in 2 hours.

Miguel almost doesn't hear it.

The apology.

Maya shrinks a little under Miguel's eyes, when he does finally turn his attention to her, standing some steps away, twisting her mask in her hands, her mouth and suit front sticky with blood that is not her's.

"I didn't mean to..." She whispers, playing the vulnerable little girl card with him, hoping to dim his anger towards her as he crouches there, cradling the two dead humans in his arms.

Trying to appear small and meek.

Miguel knows she is not meek.

"I didn't know they were important..." She tries.

She doesn't pick her words carefully enough.

Miguel's not aware of what movement he make towards her, but Maya steps back, fear flaring up in her eyes.

She bumps into another body, hands coming to set themselves on her shoulders, causing her to look up.

"Mama!"

"Did your humans finally break, Miguel?"

Isabella looks very indifferent to his suffering.

Course she didn't understand how he was feeling. How could she?

"Mama! Mama, tell him I didn't mean to, I didn't know!" Maya cries at Isabella, seeking validation and safety in the only other adult there.

Isabella looks down at her for a moment, smoothing some strands of hair out of her face, before she looks back up at Miguel.

"She's right, you really can't blame her for not knowing," Isabella says flatly, defending the little monster.

"You never talk about them! You're suppose to talk bout them if they're important!"

Isabella sighs, ushering Maya to the side so she can approach Miguel, who growls at her, his body curling more protectively the two in his arms. Like he could still protect them even if they were already dead.

Isabella is not deterred. She's always never deterred.

She even has the audacity to reach out and place a hand on his shoulder once she's close enough.

"If you're so upset about them, we can just get you two new ones."

That was not the right thing to say. But when had Isabella ever said the right thing to him?

Too bad she only look annoyed when he lashes out and slashes her ear off.

Blood pours from the wound, staining her neck red.

Her eyes narrow, "Fine."

She's stepping away now, striding over to Maya and grabbing her by the wrist.

"Be a big baby about some stupid humans. I expect nothing less from you anyway."

Maya looks back at him as Isabella pulls her away, her eyes searching for something in his face. And not finding it, making her turn her eyes away.

He's not going to forgive her.

Ever.

Spider-Verse Oc #14

Name: Spider-Mimic

A creature of mimic origin who ate a radioactive spider. Looking for a universe to call its own, as it's former was destroyed. Has learned through observation that spider-man is a favored symbol. [Not to everyone, but most people].

Followed around its universe's Spider-man until one day they were brutally taken out.

Ate the remains of spider-man and became them, or an imperfect version, trying to be them, though after a time, the universe started to fall apart as it had unknowingly rewritten canon by becoming spider-man after their death.

Currently considered an uncaptured anomaly.

Really just wants to go home, but it doesn't have a home to go back to.
