Expanding on Trio Family au personalties Part 1

This is yet another brain dump. 

Some parts are actual changes to better fit the story, while others are just me going “haha wouldn’t it be fun if___?”

(Some facts about each character are mentioned in the other’s sections instead of their own, and I do use some comparisons to other characters/dynamics from other fandoms to try and better get my ideas across, so heads up.)

Cyril Marcus (Innocent Zero)

As stated in my previous post, selfish, narcissistic, snarky, the works.

Definitely has a soft side but he would NEVER admit it, and he will make excuses about it. (Him CARING about OTHERS, preposterous.)

Having a soft moment with his kids? You saw nothing. Saying something nice? You misheard him. Helping others? It was only to further his own goals. Etc.

Very vain. He carries one of those portable makeup compacts with the mirrors to fix anything messed up during work.

Paints/manicures his nails too.

DO NOT mess with his hair.

Clothes, depending on the cost he’ll be mad but you’ll live

Face, more pissed, but survival is possible

But hair? Your DEAD and BURIED.

One time, while Adam Jobs was still their mentor, a criminal cut his hair during a mission and Cyril almost killed the guy.

The only reason the man wasn’t put  7 feet under is because Amy held Cyril back before anything really bad happened.

Speaking of killing, Cyril would kill someone.

He hasn’t only because he has Amy and Wahlberg stopping him.

He denies it, but he’s weak to flattery and praise, especially if it’s from Wahlberg.

Cyril is the most “brain” of the trio compared to the other two, who have high points in brawn as well.

The least social of the three as well, people often don’t like him because of his personality. 

It doesn’t bother him too much, or at least he pretends it doesn’t. He doesn’t like other people that much either.

Wahlberg Baigan

In this au the trio is closer to their 30-40s-ish (depending on where in the time line) so Wahlberg is less of a wise old man and more of a “kind and wise, but still rambunctious young man.”

His role in Eaton is still the same. He’s the principal who is open-minded and accommodating, but his recklessness and hope in the good in other does cause problems sometimes. Like letting Abel keep his Magia Lupus schemes. (It did work out in the end, but it was a bit of a close call.)

Though if something really serious/dangerous is happening he will step it up and take charge.

No one hurts people under his care, not without going through him.

(Like when he stopped Mash’s execution or fought with IZ in the manga/anime.)

He’s one of the few people who can read Cyril and bypass his tsundere exterior.

He also know how to get Cyril to help with things he doesn’t want to do (Like raising 5 kids together)

This usually involves buttering Cyril up with flattery.

(His relationship with Cyril is kinda like Arlecchino x Clervie, but with a happier ending.)

He loves children and teaching them, which was one of the reasons why he wanted to take in the quintuplets, and why he became a teacher/headmaster at Easton.

A lot more open about his feeling in general. If he loves someone, he’ll say/show so. The same goes for the people he doesn’t like or if he feels something is wrong.

The only reason he wouldn’t would be if it put someone else in danger or get In the way of him helping others. (Like being polite to the Bureau Director even though he doesn’t like him or agree with many of his methods.)

Not to say he would do nothing, but he would be less outright with his dislike.

Meliadoul Amy

Starting this by saying I have no clue if Amy or Meliadoul is the first name, so in this au, her first name is Amy.

If Cyril is a cat and Wahlberg is a dog then Amy is a fox.

Not as introverted as Cyril, but not as extroverted as Wahlberg.

A middle ground, though that is obviously not all she is.

She is kind but strict, like in canon.

Being the most powerful of the trio along with being the healer means of there is a problem she will whoop ass first, ask questions later. (And heal anyone who needs it afterwards.)

She heals with her chainsaw, but she also has degrees in medical practice (Magical and modern).

She uses her medical skills to run a doctor’s office and she will sometimes pop in to Easton to give things like medical checkups.

Unlike Wahlberg, when she needs to make Cyril do something’s it with taunting, reverse physiology, or straight up dragging him wherever he needs to be. She’ll do the same with Wahlberg if he gets too rambunctious.

Despite often seeming like the most responsible of the group, she is fairly reckless herself and can be quick to throw hands. 

She also cares about her reputation (like in canon) and tries to be a good person, not just for herself/her morals, but for the public’s view on her too.

Despite caring about her public appearance, she mostly lives a life for herself. 

Her personality can be compared to Nobara from Jjk.

(The trio is kinda like Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara, dynamic wise.)

Dubbed herself “Aunty Amy” to the quintuples. She acts like a cool wine aunt to them. 

She was absolutely wingwoman-ing the heck out of WahlbergxCyril before they got together.

short washing machine headcanons (part 2!)

MELIADOUL…

She’s probably training Ochoa to do stupid things she saw on the internet when you call for her. (Thank you for saving the little guy.)

She’s going to laugh out loud when she sees you stuck head first inside the washing machine! Of course she will. “Please c’mon, please say Stepsis, I’m stuck!” but you won’t, because she’s laughing too hard for you to even understand what she just said.

When she’s finally calm again, she will try to get you out, struggling quite a lot and muttering insults towards the poor washing machine’s family tree, then finally give up and cut through it with her Magical Chainsaw. 

You’ll get very scared, of course, and the chainsaw will absolutely cut through you, but you’ll feel extra relaxed afterwards. She will occasionally tease you about this episode, mostly if you’re cuddling with her.

Made fun + cut you with her Chainsaw, but now you feel nice. You aren’t even mad, 8/10.

DOMINA…

Domina is attempting to make some apple pie when his focus is broken by a muffled scream coming from the laundry room. He sighs and immediately makes his way there.

With anyone else, he would get super angry, but it’s you, and he loves you very much. “Oh no, (Y/N), are you alright?” He isn’t panicking, but he’s a little worried that you might be feeling in pain or too uncomfortable.

He will undoubtedly get you out very nice and slow, and make sure to inspect your face and arms to be absolutely certain that you aren’t hurt (you’d better hope so if you don’t want him to molest your poor washing machine afterwards).

If you’re embarrassed or uncomfortable about it, he’s going to bring you with him and keep making apple pie (it was supposed to be a surprise for you but fuck it) to distract you.

Gentle and cute, definitely makes good pies. 9/10 don’t forget to praise him for this please

FAMIN…

He’s.. I don’t know, probably stealing stuff from his brothers’ rooms when you call him, and his head makes a whole 180° turn before he realises that you need him, and he comes to see you.

Will probably sit on your back while you’re stuck. “Is it nice in there?” he’s going to ask while giggling. If you say it isn’t, he will pull you out immediately and sit next to you to check your expression for any discomfort.

However, if you’re dating Famin, you’re the type that will say it’s nice, so he will first of all pull you out of the washing machine, and then take your spot in there. He’s going to end up being stuck too.

Now you have to pull him out and you don’t know how to do that, you’re left with a jester inside a washing machine. Sounds like the beginning of an awful pun.

Helped, but got stuck instead. at least it was funny, 7/10.

DELISASTER…

He is 100% scrolling on social media or taking selfies when you call for him, and he’ll keep his eyes glued to his phone while making his way to you.

Upon seeing the pitiful display in front of him, he chuckles. “Oh, em, gee. Are you, like, stuck or something?” He will definitely sit down next to you and take selfies showing his face next to your figure, completely stuck.

He will start a TikTok livestream (titled "LMAO F IN THE CHAT FOR (Y/N)") and ask his followers for advice to get someone out of a washing machine, and make absolutely sure that everyone can see you. What a jerk.

If you start sulking or being too uncomfortable, he will put his phone away and get you out of there immediately, without any further questions. Maybe he’ll take you to a party or let you rest on his lap as an apology.

Mean, and why does he speak like a frat boy?? But at least he’s pretty and the party was nice. 7/10

• After finding out that you got into Walkis Academy, she was slightly shocked because well, she was an alumni of Easton Academy and well… You’re entering Walkis Academy… Stares…

• But will respect your choice for choosing that Academy, it has its perks…. maybe… yeah…

• Scrap that!! As your mother figure, she should be happy for you!! I mean, you looked sure about going there, so Meliadoul must trust you in your decision.

• “You know my child, back when I was in Easton Academy, I used to—” starts yapping about her life back then as a youngster, that would have been enough to make you fall asleep…

• “Do this” and “Do that” she will nag you on preparing for the Academy, but what can you do? Obviously follow Meliadoul because she’s apparently “right at everything.”

• Wheew!! Intense training as apart of preparation, but you literally passed the exam why would you need to train more— WRONG!! Keep training!!!

• Lets you take a break though, “Even the most powerful mages need to rest in order to remain stability and power.” But during that break she will yap more about her youngster days.

• At the first day, Meliadoul would insist to walk you there, and will literally (fake) sob as you walk away to enter the Academy.

• “Look at my child. They’re already fully grown, even now going to an academy.” weeps…

• If you ever come back, she'll ask you about what's happening in your school life, give you advice, and nag you more about your magic…

Expanding on Trio Family au personalities Part 2

Quintuplets + Cell War time! 

These guys were a little hard to write/characterize properly, so if any of them feel too OOC for you, I’m sorry.

I’m adding ages because their ages in this au are different from canon. (The trio’s ages are different too, as mentioned in Wahlberg’s section, but I don’t have exact numbers for them so it’s just a range.)

Father=Cyril and Dad=Wahlberg, btw.

First Trio Family Post, Personalities Part 1

Doom(26)

Doom is relatively the same as in canon. Mostly calm/coolheaded (and sometimes stern) with a passion for fighting strong opponents.

When he isn’t finding and/or fighting others his hobbies include things like gardening and interacting with small animals.

I really like big, powerful and dangerous characters that just slap you in the face with moe, so that’s the vibe I’m channeling.

“Looks like they could kill you, could kill you, but is a cinnamon roll” type-ish.

Containers for cooking in the kitchen in their house, like jars of flour or measuring spoons/cups, have braille on them so he can read. This helps him know what he’s using when cooking.

His gardening supplies also has braille.

(Does braille exist in the Mashle universe? I guess it does now.)

Despite enjoying fighting, he never uses lethal force unless absolutely necessary and greatly dislikes those who kill just because. 

Like his father, (and some of his brothers) he can be rather gruff at times, though he is one of the more direct of the group. 

He is better at verbalizing and expressing his feelings, negative or positive, more clearly. (For clarification: Not being able to verbalizing or expressing feeling clearly isn’t inherently bad, that’s not what I’m saying. Just that Doom is better at it than some others in his family.)

For some angstier notes: Doom didn’t know how to read braille until Cyril and Wahlberg taught him, the old big bad didn’t bother to teach him.

The old big bad didn’t bother to play attention to him much at all, despite being the holder of a master cane, Doom was less acknowledged than his more able-bodied siblings.

Being the oldest, Doom thinks he should have been the one to bare the most abuse instead of his younger siblings and has hidden guilt over not being able to protect and care for them better under the old big bad.

He is grateful for Amy, Cyril, and Wahlberg, and for having a safer home form him and his sibling.

The trio has slowly been helping him feel better about his guilt and understand it wasn’t his fault.

Famin(24)

Famin is still unpredictable, but much tamer than in canon. He’s a gremlin, for sure, but certainly less murder-y and stuff.

I’ve taken his enjoyment of tormenting others and replaced it with an interest in pranking people. 

Pranks include(but aren’t limited to): Filling his siblings rooms with ball pit balls, moving all the furniture a few inches to the left, and the Mashle equivalent of the Door/Doorway Tape Prank.

Despite sometimes taking his pranks too far, non of them have ever been lethal. Most of them are ment to confuse and/or surprise rather than cause genuine harm.

That one character who seems to have endless pockets and always has something that can be used in every situation because he has, just, so much random shit in there.

Some things in his pockets include, but certainly aren’t limited too: Screwdrivers, rocks, glitter, multiple juggling balls, decks of cards, various colored scarves, snacks, and a pocket sand.

Both photography and collecting things are his hobbies.

If he can’t collect something, for example: if it belongs to someone else, he’ll just take pictures of it instead. 

(IDK if video level tech exists in the Mashle universe, but if it does then his camera would be filled with videos too.)

The walls of his room are covered in cork boards with various photos and collages on them.

Most of his pictures are of things like funky rocks, or cool animals, or random things he found that “Famin no, we are NOT taking that home with us.” (You get to decide who said that)

There is a separate board for pictures of his family, the pictures varying in quality.

His shelves are filled with his creations and things he found that he could take home. (The closet in his room is full of boxes with even more stuff.)

He makes collages and Assemblages out of things he has collected. (Assemblages are like collages, but 2D.)

Sometimes he will give things he makes to people he likes, if he’s in a good mood.

He has an UMBRELLA SWORD because I think it’s cool. Plus, he already has both the sword, and the umbrella. (Umbrella sword means he has a sword, but the sheath is the handle of a functional umbrella. Think Kouyou from bsd, or The Shogunate from Genshin: PROGENITOR.)

Absolutely steals shit from his siblings. If any of them are missing something 90% of the time it’s with Famin.

The best way I can describe this one part of his personality is with a Tumblr post about one paragraph in the book “Wee Free Men” by Terry Pratchett.

The  paragraph in the post talks about turning selfishness into a weapon, which I think fits the kinder aspects of this au’s Famin.

He’ll pull pranks, bother his family and act like an overall menace, but when things are serious he will get protective.

Quote from the paragraph “How dare you try to take these things, because they are mine! I have a duty!”

Epidem(23)

My problem with characterizing Epidem was less the characterization itself, and more how to articulate it. I tried my best, so here it is:

Epidem in this au has an almost nature-y vibe. But like, in a Witch-y cottage-core way.

Along with pudding, he’s also the kind of guy who likes things like frogs, and science, and mushrooms! 

And…minor health and safety violations…

He spends most of his time reading, experimenting, or going out and collecting interesting pieces of nature to study and/or use for science.

He is more genuinely polite in this au, though still rather eccentric.

He can often be heard singing or seen dancing around areas like his lab or the house library.

His song and dance are mostly about pudding. 

Though, sometimes they are little jigs/ditties rhyming different facts about poisons, mushrooms, and the likes. (Think of the SpongeBob “Human Anatomy” Squarepants song from tumblr)

These is no (major) medical malpractice for him in this au, his aunty is a doctor, after all.

Him and Amy have a very close relationship. They even have designated days to hang out and do science experiments! (With Cyril on hand at all times, in case of emergency)

The two have made at least five explosions over the past years together. (And that’s just the explosions)

For the virus he makes in canon, the one that affects Anna and Lovie, my two ideas are that:

A) He makes the virus, probably on accident, and hasn’t made a cure yet. 

Or

B) Some other guy made it instead.

He likes trying to make interesting food dishes and potions which he feeds to his siblings.

Delisaster(22)

Delisaster’s less of a frat boy, and more of a diva-ish person in this au. Also, cat adjacent.

I was considering whether to keep his smoking habits, but in the end I decided against it. He still drinks alcohol tho.

He also has ADHD, because he gives that kind of vibe. (And also because people with ADHD are more likely to get addicted to substances due to things like the dopamine boosts.)

Uses a ton of slang along with phrases and such from classic lit. Usually it’s just a few terms or jokes here and there, but he cranks up the lingo extra sometimes to piss off and confuse his brothers. (Example: This Post )

An honorary member of The GirlsTM, and by that I mean he’s in on all of Amy’s juicy gossip. 

The two go out on shopping trips and have little girl’s nights together.

He’s definitely helped with wing-manning his parents.

He gives me the vibe of someone who would read both Shakespeare and those romance light novels with the really long names.

To go along with the Shakespeare, Delisaster is absolutely a theater kid. It’s basically canon.

Usually it would be Cell War who eats/drinks whatever weird food or potion Epidem makes, but when he’s away at work Delisaster is often one of the main victims of Epidem’s experiments. 

Delisaster hates it, btw. And WILL complain about it, loudly.

He is also the most likely to start and argument or minor physical squabble with one of his siblings. It’s usually nothing big and is resolved fairly quickly.

One of the most physical of all the siblings. Delisaster will do things like squish, poke, headbutt, hug, pick up(mostly Domina), lay on, and lean on all his family members. He will also do this to people he likes or feels comfortable with.

Domina Blowlive(Still 16)

Domina is more outwardly kind and laid back than in canon.

Growing up in a safer, more loving environment helped him be more expressive and open.

He works to do his best, sometimes pushing into overwork.

He has a competitive streak along with a temper (quick to throw hands like his Aunty)

Unlike canon, his temper is more of a fierce, protective kind instead of stemming from hatred.

His love and protectiveness also extends to his family and other people close to him, instead of just his father.

Toward the beginning of living with the trio, Domina was closer to his canon self, doing things even if he didn’t want to/felt they were wrong in order to be loved.

Cyril and Wahlberg helped encourage him to think for himself instead of only for others.

Nowadays, Domina still desires acknowledgement for his achievements, making him a bit of a people-pleaser. But he is good at standing strong when it comes to his morals.

He does go to Walkis in this au because I want him to continue interacting with his gang.

The excuse is that Domina wanted to try going to a school without having his dad as the principal. His reasoning was that he wanted to have his own learning experience and didn’t want his dad to give him any shortcuts. 

He said he could try for one year at Walkis, and if he didn’t like it, he could transfer to Easton the next year.

He does still team up with Lévis,  though they get off to a bit or a rocky start due to differences in mindsets.

(I was thinking that Domina and Lévis’ relationship could actually parallel Wahlberg and Cyril’s.)

I want to have a more solid parallel between Mash and Domina, so while Mash focuses on brute strength, Domina leans more towards agility/acrobatics.

Cell War(???)

The caretaker of the quintuplets before the trio found them.

He’s a chimera made from a dead human fused with a dead dragon. (Chimera Falin style)

His more humanoid form has his left arm made of shining black rock with a clawed hand. He has a tail too, because yes.

(Yes, he does have a giant chimera Falin-like form too, because it my au and I think my boy deserves to be a little fucked up.)

In exchange for the power of turning into a chimera dragon, I’m thinking of taking away his summon.

(Turning into a rock dragon-thingy is basically his summon now, so I think it’s a fair trade.)

His whole purpose under the Big Bad was to provide for the quintuplets and guard the parameters of their “residence.”

At the beginning he was more stoic. He completed his jobs, nothing more, nothing less.

As time went on, pieces of his old personality began to seep back in, allowing him to interact more kindly with the quintuplets.

Once he became part of the trio family, he started striking out on his own and trying out small part-time jobs here and there.

His more theatrical and cheeky aspects became more prominent as he grew into being a person again.

Cell War is also really good at disguises (taking this from when he impersonated Lance in canon) and occasionally uses the skill to complete various jobs.

He doesn’t need to use a wand. Being part dragon means he can release magic from his own body, instead of relying on a tool.

He does still use a wand, as to avoid drawing attention to himself and because it helps with focus/aiming.

I’m giving him a secondth, because I think he needs more normal (non-summon) spells other than pelting people with varying sized rocks.

The spell works like stone edge from Pokemon. (The name could be Carbo Secondth: Diamond/Stone Rupture, or something.)

I think this turned out a little messy.

I do plan to attempt to write some short stories to better get my dynamics and personality’s across. So if anyone’s interested, they might be coming in the future.

then there's the "i'll be stronger than you one day, just you wait!" crew, that's actually proud of you but will never admit it. sure, you're a triple liner, suuuure, you have an INSANE amount of magical power, but it doesn't mean anything! yet when you're blissfully unaware of it, they gloat about how strong you are and how cool you look. kind of tsundere if you ask me

there's the cute sibling rivalry thingie going on where you two fight alongside each other and they just keep count of how many enemies they've downed, kind of challenging you in a fun way

some of them want to become stronger than you only for the sake of being able to protect you, because you're their dear family and they refuse to let you get hurt. besides, if anything ever happens to you, they want to be able to take over.

some just acknowledge it, they're neither proud of it or pissed, they just accept that you're stronger. when asked about it, they'll say it's a great thing that such a strong mage is from their family!
