Obsessed with that one girl from temple frogs who agreed to impersonate a 13 year old for an hour for $5 with zero hesitation. No questions asked… Actually she did have ONE question, she asked if Anne was going to give her that $5 in the form of a CHECK. What is going on in her life? What is her story?

This is just for practice, study and fun! I hate this arrogant, immature and disrespectful mentality of "i fixed it" "mine is better" etc and i don't want to be associated with them.
Calamity trio re-imagined! (edit video link) notes in read more
- I made the colors more saturated to match my art style
- Designs inspired by Valeriana's phrase: "Think of your memories of Amphibia, of how much this world means to you. This will allow the stones to resonate with your hearts... once again!"
Anne
Tumblr media
- Lotus hair and frog eyes as in the concept art
- Lotus flower headband
- Heart-shaped gems as the blue gemstone represents heart
- Shoulder pad inspired by the Plantar's house and the blue mushrooms that are very distinctive in this region
- I made the boots more similar to the dragonfly costume's boots
- Vines on gloves and boots as they are a natural and common element in the region where Anne lived
- The boot leaf is the same as Leif's, the first Plantar
Sasha
Tumblr media
- As Sasha herself said, "I am not that person anymore!", so I was heavily inspired by the new Sasha's outfit from the third season
- But I still decided to leave some elements of the official design on the arm, inspired by the design of the battle of the bands and her design of the second season, as they were important moments for her
- Now the heron circlet is bigger and has a scar on their eye, matching Sasha and Grime
- A cool eye patch with the eye symbol
- Toad eye!
Marcy
Tumblr media
- Changes the hue to another shade of green
- I gave the same hairstyle as the battle of the bands outfit and kept the green barrette
- Newt eyes!
- Now the tiara has the shape of corals and a gem like the brain-like mushrooms (from the first temple) in the middle, as the green gemstone represents wit
- All armor is inspired from General Yunan and King Andrias' armor
- Shells throughout the design as they are very distinctive in this region
- Her skirt is a mix of my redesign with the design of the band battle outfit, and with the wave print like Lady Olivia's dress

All of my Ninjago AUs because I am insane & autistic + it's fun
(disclaimer, a vast majority of these focus on cole brookstone because favouritism bias)
My Nonexistant Friend - Ghost!Cole AU where Day of the Departed...did not end so well. He's trapped in the Airjitzu Temple and is effectivly erased from existance. He suffers in nonexistant puragtory for 300 years until Lloyd's future students move in and the Master of Earth of this new era befriends the ghost. Fluff, feels & the power of friendship ensue
Perma Ghost - Ninjago but Cole remains a ghost. To prevent him from fading he anchors himself to friendship bracelets all the ninja + Wu & Pixal wear. He can't stray to far from anyone wearing a friendship bracelet but he doesn't mind he's always with a friend.
Curseworlds - Possession bad end, heavily inspired by The Star from Fionna & Cake. The Preeminent has won and has cursed all the realms and ghosts torment the remaining living souls. A small faction of survivors is fighting to take out the Queen of the Cursed, but it's very difficult with her two princes causing havoc. Anyone order evil Sandstorm?
Reverse - An alt Ninjago where Wu was bit by the Great Devourer instead of Garmadon. Wu becomes an evil dictator, Ninjago is in a lawless era, the og ninja are all traumatised child soldiers made to do Wu's bidding, Garmadon and a few familiar faces are fighting back.
Genderswap - As it says, everyone is genderswapped. But it's like Fionna & Cake where some stuff is different because of the swapped genders.
Elemental Anacondrai - Chen decides to be extra twisted and mark all the loosers of the Tournament with the Anacondrai Mark as a sign of ownership. When the cult is transformed into Anacondrai, they too. So for the last two episodes of ToE, Skylor, Karlof, Gravis, Bolobo, Ash, Cole, Jacob, Chamile & Tox are turned into Anacondrai.
Constrictai!Cole - Cole isn't dehypnotised at the end of Home and is taken prisoner by the Hypnobrai. When the Fangpyre are free and team up with the Hypnobrai, Skales has them turn Cole into a Serpentine. He ends up a Constrictai. The ninja end up rescueing him durring Can of Worms, remove the hypnotism with some anti-venom tea, and now Cole must adjust to his new reptilian body. Lots of Glacier
Lost But Never Found - AU where Cole ends up in the Land of Lost things after running away from his school. He becomes a Finder and is living his best life with his new found family. Sora also ends up there after running away and Cole adopts her
Vampire!Cole - Cole ends up becoming a vampire after getting attacked by one. Lots of hyjinks & vampire hunting (hunting other vampires, not Cole)
Wu Adopts Cole - Wu finds Cole a lot earlier then canon, at 10 years old. He's an orphan, his mum passed from illness and his dad drank himself to death. Wu raises Cole, trains him in his Elemental Power, very wholesome Dad Wu stuff.
Amphibijago - Ninjago + Amphibia crossover. Cole, Kai and Jay take the places of the Calamity Girls and end up in Amphibia. Cole ends up with the frogs, Kai ends up with the toads, Jay ends up with the newts. What could go wrong
The Oni House - Ninjago + The Owl House, basically the Owl House but with Ninjago characters. Cole is a troubled teen about to be sent off to a performing arts boarding school when he ends up in a realm of witches, demons and magic after wandering through a portal. There he meets Lord Garmadon, the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles and his baby dragon demon Rocky. Lava time
Ninja in Eorzea - Ninjago + FFXIV. The ninja play the criticly acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV with an extended free trail with unlimited playtime that allows them to play the award winning expansions Heavensward and Stormblood, and they get suckef in...litterally like Prime Empire.
Miraculous: Tales of Firefly & Charcole Cat - Ninjago + Miraculous. Ninjago City is being ravaged by supervillains created by someone known as the Dark Lord. But new heros have arisen, known as Firefly & Charcole Cat, ready to protect the city from the Dark Lord while trying to balance school & dating. HONEYCOMB MY OTP
Age of Elements - My original Ninjago story set 300 years after canon. Lloyd is training 7 new ninja, the Elemental Masters of Fire, Earth, Wind, Nature, Water, Lightning and Ice to protect the world because a prophetic vision of the furure said so. He's trying his best to make sure they aren't super traumatised by having them keep their ninja identity a secret, not keeping secrets about the FSM family lore, having them go to school, but trauma as a Ninja is a canon event. Got 18 seasons planned and counting

If you're gonna claim Luz left Boiling Isles to die, how come you also aren't claiming Anne and the Plantars wanted to leave Amphibia to die too. In Escape to Amphibia, we get scenes where they consider wanting to stay on Earth longer and only went ahead with going to Amphibia quickly purely because of FBI interference, as if implying they would've just procrastinated longer if the FBI didn't force them to hurry up.
gestures above If you do not know what bad faith criticism is, this is it. I wouldn't respond but like... Escape to Amphibia and its light confrontation on this topic is emblematic of what makes Amphibia S3A fucking amazing so let's talk about it. Let's start with the scenes in question because they're short and there's only two of them.
Oh, and a link to the blog the person is responding to that's about how Luz left a world to die. Because she did.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So we see a couple things. Face value, the two scenes can be described as "Someone scared about a big life choice is comforted by her best friend and offered time before they have to make the choice." The latter is "The scared person has an overwhelming responsibility before them that finally comes crashing down on them and they have a breakdown." In the first case, it is framed and presented as something the character hasn't thought about before now while the latter reinforces that by making it clear there's a lot she has been trying not to think about in order to reach this goal.
Which is all actually built up and in character for how Anne has acted this entire half season. She has CONSTANTLY been had to be pulled back from destroying herself in order to get a way back to Amphibia. To find a way to take care of the Plantars while they're trapped over in the human realm. To make progress on these giant questions on her mind. We see this with her exhaustion at the museum hunt, her having to be reminded of the importance of her community during Temple Frogs, and we see it with how she can be persuaded by The Plantars in the episode where we meet Terry, just to name a few. It's even one of the first things S3 touches on by showing how she very bluntly compartmentalizes parts of what has happened to her. That's why we get the repeated gag in the first episode of Anne trying to say they don't have much to deal with before beginning to ramble about ALL they have to deal with before swiping it away because she quite literally can't handle the full breadth of what is currently her reality. Only now has she finally succeeded in her goal, has it staring it in her face, that she even can step back and go, "Wait, wasn't my whole goal to get home to the world and family I love?"
And I don't mean Amphibia. For two seasons, even as she grew closer and closer to The Plantars, Anne never intended to stay. She ADORES the human world. She loves her parents. This is her home and yet she has spent months on a forced march towards this goal of leaving this place. Leaving this place for a world far more dangerous than her own with no solid plan to get back besides hopefully beating a tyrant and his robot army. That's terrifying.
And yet she doesn't even ask for time. She doesn't try to get out of it. She is offered it and is willing to take a few days so she can say bye to her parents properly, they've been gone for months, what's a couple more days? But to not go? Not help? Never even suggested and it's never indicated that she would have taken the option because that is not who the show has built Anne up to be. That's why her parents are so willing to let her go because they understand this is not only what she must do for herself but that she can do it because she's amazing.
It's a moment of self doubt that is GREAT character drama and circles back a fuckton of elements from not only S3 but also previous seasons to give this mid season finale some real character weight behind it despite getting such little time dedicated to it in this episode specifically. The WHOLE SERIES has prepared you for this moment so it lands with the right punch that also is just a humanistic touch that reminds you that Anne is a thirteen year old girl from Earth and so this is kind of scary and terrifying for her.
Comparing that to someone who spends supposed MONTHS thinking about how she's really bad at making choices, how her brash choices made on her own have led to an entire world's ruin, doubles down on that problem by making a terrible choice on her own that abandons countless lives, including her friends, and absolves her of the need to even attempt to actually put right what she claims is her fault for getting broken... To compare the two is laughable. To say they are the same only makes you look like a fool. See you next tale.

Amphibia AU where Anne notices Andrias attempting to attack Marcy, her powers flare back up long enough her to push Marcy out of the way and into the portal, taking the blow for her while Marcy and the Plantars are warped back to Los Angeles.
• Before the portal warps Marcy back instead of the "I-I'm sorry... for everything." that Marcy gives, Anne tries to comfort Marcy, saying "D-Don't worry, M-Mar-Mar... I probably w-would have done the s-same if I had to be separated from y-y-you and Sash...".
• While back in Willow Brooke, Marcy can't bare to confront her parents so she decides to stay with the Boonchuys. Obviously, after she explains why she ran away and her need to get everyone back home, they let her and the Plantars stay as long as they need. Marcy tells them about Amphibia but, like Anne, leaves out the parts about the evil king....... and the fact that she saw their daughter get stabbed through the torso and possibly die... instead she lies that Anne is still perfectly fine back in Wartwood.
• Marcy is more angsty about this whole thing than Anne appeared to be in canon. Made even worse by the fact that every time she sees the people she now lives with, she is reminded that her cowardice cost them the most important person in their families. She also finds being the only one of her friends to make it back to the place that she tried so hard to run away from as a form of twisted irony. A cosmic punishment for tampering with a mystical artifact that was far beyond her understanding, leading to her friends and their loved ones paying the price for it.
•A lot of the same plot beats still happen such as Fight at the Museum, Fixing Frobo, If You Give A Frog A Cookie, and Mr. X but episodes such as Thai Feud and Temple Frogs don't due to Marcy obviously not having the same familial bonds as Anne and Adventures in Catsitting due to The Boonchuys being unable to schedule a dentist's appointment for a child that is not under their legal guardianship.
• Marcy wears her blue Newtopian cloak even with her casual clothing just in case she sees her parents and needs to hide her face from them under her hood so they don't recognize her. (There is a running gag through season 3 where she has to make sure she doesn't stand under any sprinklers in case her cloak spontaneously combusts.)
• Back in Amphibia, The Core, now no longer having Marcy, decides to take Anne. Now calling themself Dianne, they use Anne not for her mind... but instead for her power and to use it for it's namesake.............. to bring about Calamity.
• Andrias still sends out the Assassin bot to Willow Brooke to kill Marcy and the Plantars in order to tie up any loose ends in his plans.
• Marcy's Calamity powers awaken while protecting the Plantars in the Supermarket and finds that her powers allow her to use magic though the use of any staff-like object. In this case, a metal pipe in the storage freezer that she was going to use to bash in the robot's head, and summons a blast of energy that sends the Assassin bot packing. Marcy later buys a foldable walking staff from a drug store and carries it around in her satchel in case of "Magical Girl emergencies" as she calls them. (Her powers are an homage to Matt's original idea for Marcy to be a sorceress.)
• In this version of Anne-sterminator, it's laundry day and since Marcy can't go back to her house to grab clean clothes, she has to wear some of Anne's, namely her iconic St. James Middle School uniform. When the Assassin bot comes to kill Marcy, it sees Marcy in Anne's clothes and gets confused allowing everyone time to escape. In the junkyard, Marcy whips out her staff and uses her Calamity powers to cast an Anti-gravity spell on the Assassin bot, launching it into orbit where it's bomb detonates. Marcy finally has to come clean about Andrias and what happened to Anne. While the Boonchuys are devastated about Anne, they know that Anne would have wanted to get the Plantars and Sasha back home and use that as motivation to keep going.
• While in The Core, Anne's Fantasy world is one where Amphibia and Earth are merged into one. (A tongue in cheek mocking of Star vs' ending) She gets sus when she notices everyone acting off. When Anne calls bull on the whole thing, The Core leaves her in the darkness with only the light of her phone containing her real memories to keep her company.
• During The Core's invasion, Dianne uses Anne's Calamity powers in their fight against Sasha making it far more of a brutal beat-down than a proper 1v1. When Grime sacrifices himself, it causes Sasha's Calamity powers to awaken, making it a fair fight.
• While battling Andrias, when Marcy starts running low on Calamity juice, Andrias starts mocking her. Telling her that "If she wants to, he'll gladly let her use the music box to take her to another world where she can run away from her problems.... again." and this, along with the Boonchuys playing "As If It's Your Last" by Blackpink over the city's loudspeakers to remind Marcy that she's doing all this for Anne leads to an epic tear filled "I'm... Done... Running..." as she twirls her staff around, her powers flare back up, and she gets her second wind.

Amphibia season 3 rewrite
New Normal: Mostly the same, just replace the quarantine song with a scene that involve Anne and Sprig reflecting on True Colors
Turning Point (22 min): Don’t hammer it in our faces every 30 seconds that Sasha feels remorse, we can clearly see she does. Also make Wartwood more distrusting
Adventures In Catsitting/Croak of Duty (Im not sorry): Sasha and the Wartwood resistance bond building and trust gaining lets goooo
Fight at the Museum/Temple Frogs: Integrate Dr. Jan telling Anne and the plantars about the vase into the ending of the former episode
Sprigs Birthday/Below Battle Grounds
Below Battle Grounds: Sasha and Grime discover the Plantars’ basement and try to convince Wartwood to go through with this  change
Fixing Frobo/Anne-Sterminator: Nothing changes in Fixing Frobo. Anne Sterminator, simply have her opening up to her parents about everything (The opening or Mr. X mentioned she did, but I would’ve liked to see it)
Confronting Old Warts/Olivia and Yunnan:
Confronting Old Warts: Sasha backstory, we cry, and this is when she gets her new look
Toad out of the Bag/If You Give A Frog a Cookie:
Toad out of the Bag: News has spread of Anne’s return to her friends’ parents and they got questions
Froggy Little Christmas: Andrias sends Darcy out for a test drive on Earth, messing up Anne’s Christmas plans for her mom. Towards the end, they send out that Anne, The Plantars, and her parents defeat. They then go home happily, but then see Darcy lounging on a chair in the kitchen. They give a sinister “Hi Aaaaaaaaaannnnneee”, the screen cuts to everyone’s’ horrified faces and the screen goes black
Escape to Amphibia: Anne and the Plantars prepare to return to Amphibia, qnd in the process Anne and Darcy duke it out (Darcy unfortunately gets away). The rest of the episode is essentially just a more abridged version of ETA
Commander Anne/Sasha’s Angels:
Commander Anne: Anne is conflicted: she’s very happy Sasha’s alive and has been able to manage, but remains very suspicious. They both also express far more concern over Marcy.
Sasha’s Angels: Their argument gets more focus, and throughout the episode, Darcy (With a slightly weakened connection due to the fight. Here there’s no wire BS) lurks, planning their next move. Anne and Sasha have the conversation they had in the actual episode, but then a drone with a large trap swoops in and grabs the 2 girls. Mrs. Croaker, Maddie, Toadie, and Loggle try to save them but to no avail.
The drone lands at Andrias’s throne room, and Darcy comes out.
Darcy Strikes Back!: Anne vs Darcy Electric Boogaloo, this time with Sasha.
Marcy is saved, yaaaayyyy-
The Core, with the remains of stone power it got through possessing Marcy, is able to take on a new shadow form.
Olm Town Road/Mother of Olms:
Olm Town Road: Things are AWKWAAAARRD between the girls
The themes of second chances in this episode are primarily used for Sasha and Marcy. The latter is wracked with guilt over what she did, and the former emphasized and wants to help, but has her own feelings of bitterness and lingering resentment. In the end the 2 manage to help each other.
Mission: Cloak!/Down by the Bog
Mission Cloak: Resistance mission involving Cloak Bots. We explore more of S and M’s dynamic without Anne, M&M, plus flesh out the newt wives.
Down by the Bog: Grime is emo and not happi. Sprig’s like “Suck it up man” and we get a backstory of how Grime lost his eye.
The Core and The King: Expand on what the actual episode showed us.
The Beginning of the End: The girls begin to wonder if their friendship can truly be saved, but Saving the world’s far more important
All In: Mostly the same, Marcy just has much more of a role
Hardest Thing: Mostly the same

What happens in the season 2 finale of your role swap AU? Will Sasha tell Anne what she did to Marcy?
Oh. Oh oh anansjsjdjddj I have NO IDEA. I haven't thought that far ahead yet, I'm still stuck on early S2 in my head, in which Marcy is on the run with Grime, Percy and Braddock and she's trying to convince them not to be evil anymore. She wants them the four of them to find redemption by becoming like, robin hood esque heroes in the woods while she tries to find Anne and figure out a way to go back home. Percy and Braddock fully on board but Grime isn't so convinced. Marcy defeating Yunan with her wits alone does make him realize he's better off doing whatever she says so he doesn't get killed. It's humilliating but he's too depressed to care.
On the other hand, Sasha is traveling with the Plantars to Newtopia. Sprig and Polly LOVE HER now, especially Polly. They think she's just soooo cool. Hop Pop is very grateful because she defended the valley but... something about the way she talks about Marcy irks him. Not that he doesn't think Marcy was fucking up big bad back there, but Sasha keeps talking about her in a very weird way, like she's more annoyed that Marcy seemingly doesn't want Sasha to think for her anymore than the fact she almost got everyone killed. He tries to breach the subject but Sasha just shrugs it off and claims she didn't really mean that, that she loves Marcy, she just also happened to know what her weaknesses were and what the best way to stop her without physically hurting her would be. Hop Pop still thinks it's weird that Sasha made a training dummy in Marcy's likeness to beat up with her sword.
So... Sasha and Anne reunite in Newtopia and at first, everything is wonderful. Anne has had a lot of stuff to do in Newtopia and has grown a lot. I'll make a longer post on Anne later but she's a bit of a diplomat nowadays? She's kinda like Olivia's protegé, a little bit like a court lady. A very misbehaved court lady, but she has her heart in the right place, and Olivia is proud to see her on her little diplomatic missions all across Amphibia to help solve problems between different groups of people.
So she and Sasha catch up, and Sasha tells her everything about Marcy in the worst possible way. She tells her Marcy got them stranded there on purpose, that she tried to kill her new frog friends and that she ditched them for some terrorist toads. Anne is shocked - that doesn't sound like Marcy at all - but technically, Sasha isn't lying, and she subtly intimidates Anne into not questioning her. Then, she kinda plays the hero by saying that, despite everything Marcy has done, she still plans to save her from the toads and bring her back home.
They get reunited while doing the whole temple quests. Maybe Anne and Sasha tried their hand at the First Temple and failed, so now they're looking for Marcy to complete it for them. Sasha says it's the least she can do after everything she's done. Anne is feeling more and more uncomfortable with this with every minute.
So they find Marcy, who's 1) really happy to see Anne and 2) terrified to see Sasha, but then Sasha is suddenly acting so impossible nice and sweet and the other two feel so confused they kinda just go along with it. Anne has no idea what to think but when she tries to ask Marcy in private, Marcy basically tells her the same thing Sasha told her - that it's all her fault. But her attitude is so different from what Sasha described! Marcy is nervous and sad and desperate and not at all as malicious as Sasha painted her as. Anne is just happy to have her back, and Marcy is happy to have Anne too, so they agree that they'll find a way out of this world together. Worst part is, Sasha can't say anything when she sees them bond despite how angry she is, because they still need Marcy.
I suppose whatever happens in True Colors is the explosion of this whole ordeal. It's likely that Anne will find out about what Sasha did to Marcy and take Marcy's side.

It's the funniest thing in the world to me that in temple frogs, the very first woman Anne asks to pretend to be her agrees to do it immediately. For $5. In check form. Absolutely zero questions asked. What's her story, I'm obsessed with her

Hey Amphibia fandom, help me out here: besides that scene at the end of Temple Frogs when she needed to decode the hidden message on the vase, was Anne ever shown reading Marcy's Journal in season 3A?
Edit: I meant during season 3A specifically, my bad.

Some Amphibia characters re-imagined! :)) (edit video link) here are some notes:
- I made the colors more saturated to match my art style
- I gave them a non-human eye similar to the close-up in "Temple Frogs". Although amphibian eyes don't have a certain pattern, I wanted to give a slight pattern to each species to make it easier to separate frogs, toads and newts

It's actually really annoying when people trash Amphibia for "filler" and some little screw ups that don't matter, but at the same time praise TOH
So the fascinating thing here is... What the fuck counts as filler in Amphibia?
This isn't actually to say there isn't filler mind you, it's just that it's kind of dealer's choice what is and isn't. But let's back up a second so I can explain. I did a blog about how looking back, VERY little of The Owl House ISN'T filler. This was going by the definition that most people CLAIM to be using with Filler where anything that doesn't directly progress the story or main themes is unnecessary and thus filler. So that's the definition I'm going with for Amphibia.
And also as a reminder from that: Filler is Flavor. I consider filler to be a genuinely good thing in moderation to a piece of media. That flavor after all can make a lot of moments stronger than they would be without the extra time and characterization. With Amphibia... Oh dear god that extra time and characterization pays off BIG. S2 alone calls back to parts of S1 at least three times to really sell big moments within it...
Big moments that are also in support of the themes of Amphibia. Not only that but Anne growing as a person is required for the sake of the overall story. Even in S1, her growth is important so as to have not had her come back under Sasha's sway and her and Sasha's relationship is directly addressing how change can sometimes can be necessary, despite being painful. It's important both to the themes and overall plot. In fact, most of Anne's relationships are actively, at all times, discussing the effects community, family and change on someone.
This is what makes it effectively Dealer's Choice when it comes to Amphibia's filler because most segments, not even full episodes, can have some argument as being important to building on themes and relationships of the show which directly alter the decisions characters will make long term and so are necessary. If you think everything with the frogs is filler, you do not have the justification for Reunion. For that matter, you don't have the justification for the Aquarium trip or for True Colors because the questioning and rejection of Marcy and Sasha respectively NEEDS that further context because Anne in episode 1 doesn't care about frogs and cares more about her friends. When Sasha says jump, she says how hi, hence why she was able to be convinced to steal.
As a personal example... I have the hot take that if you watch After the Rain, someone could tell you "Marcy charges the stone" and then you skip The First Temple. After the Rain gets across the change in how Anne and the Plantars view each other, because them genuinely being a found family is important, and addresses what's going on with the music box but actually charging the stone? It says little about Marcy's character, mostly just doing the same thing Marcy at the Gates did and while the expansion of Hop Pop and Anne's conflict is good, it's not technically necessary for anything and you'd get to skip what is, in my opinion, one of the weakest episodes of the show.
Amphibia's filler still doesn't allow for "It's not filler just because you don't care about it," though. I still would recommend watching both but only because I can claim the elements to be redundant can I claim The First Temple as able to be skipped. BUT it still expands so I'm not even strong on that argument because it is still directly addressing the themes. The other half of "After the Rain" with Sprivy and her Mom is talking about differing perspectives, something that connects with accepting others and community so while it's not about Anne, it could still be said to be important to the overall discussion of what is important to Amphibia... But someone might argue that other elements address it so you can skip it.
Amphibia is a complex beast like that. Not to say there is NO filler. They have a Halloween episode that can be pretty much skipped... But also why the fuck would you? That's to me the real sin of bad filler. It doesn't add flavor. However, when you do shit like a Gravity Falls crossover and just pack it full of as much fun as possible, I'm not going to CARE if it's important or not, I'm just going to enjoy it because it's entertaining and I'm theoretically here, watching a kid's comedy adventure to be entertained.
That's, to briefly mention it, part of my issue with a lot of The Owl House's filler. It's not fun and it's not enjoyable. The fandom skips or forgets a lot of episodes because why would you ever want to go back? But I never plan to skip the Halloween episode even if it's very doable to do so.
So to me, I think Amphibia A: is more serialized than people give it credit for, it just does it in a way that is more episodically friendly and B: even when it is doing filler, you don't mind because it's going full blast on fun because it's genuinely happy to be what it's doing. So... Screw complaining about it. And this is coming from someone who still looks at the structure of Amphibia and goes "You could probably have cut a third of this and still managed almost as good of a product."
But I wouldn't want them to. Not when it's such a blast spending time with these characters.
