I don't like to scare people, but this is scary and vert threatening. Trump on his webpage posted a video where he personally promised to ban all trans healthcare as a day 1 priority of his Presidency.

If you're trans, if you have a trans loved one, if you care about human rights in the US, you! can stop him, each of us have to have hard conversations with our loved ones and talk to everyone in our lives make sure they know and understand the stakes understand that not voting or worse a vote for Trump is a vote against us, against our lives.

make sure you're ready to vote and everyone you know is ready to vote, and where ever you are there's a way for you to volunteer to reach voters in swing states, trust know and believe you can make all the difference

hi as a transgender teenager please for the love of god vote for kamala. i know that her stance on palestine is incorrect and morally reprehensible. i do not agree with what she says and i think her willingness to continue providing israel with support in the form of money or troops is disgusting. that said, voting third party or not voting will not save palestinians from genocide, but what it will do is destroy my life.

if trump wins, he will ban gender affirming care for minors (and most likely for adults as well) at the federal level. he will prosecute doctors that provide this care and the parents who allow it as well. he will make a law stating that the only two genders recognized by the us government are male and female, and that they are assigned at birth, he will reinstate the ban on trans people serving in the military. the very existence of transgender people in public will be categorized as pornographic and outlawed.

there are hundreds of trans children and teens in america who are not able to vote to save ourselves. please do the right thing.

I know this world is fucked up, especially right now, but for what it’s worth, the fact you are still alive means you’re a fighter and a survivor. you’ve made it this far and if no one else tells you, I am proud of you for being alive. it takes fucking strength and courage, and look at you still being here. give yourself some credit because you are so much stronger than you think. yes, everything fucking sucks right now. but you will get through it even if it doesn’t look like it right now. it will eventually get better. I really truly believe that, no matter how hopeless or cruel things are right now. I truly believe you will survive and will get to genuinely be happy and truly safe. just please hang in there.

Transgender Day of Remembrance is a one-day event, not a week or a month, like Pride. When researching this article, there is an apparent reason for that: it is too much. It is too much for any person to bear to have a full week of scrolling through the names. It begins with Rita Hester, who was murdered a week before her 35th birthday, and her murder inspired the first Transgender Day of Remembrance. The First Day of Remembrance was then just a small candlelight vigil held in her honour and has since grown to include ceremonies worldwide.

Ok so lately I’ve been totally ignoring teachers when they misgender me(I’ve told them multiple times my name/pronouns, and most kids in the class use them) and it’s been the funniest thing ever.

teacher: hey [deadname], did you turn in the paper?

me: *ignores her*

teacher: *kneels down by my desk*v[deadname] did you hear me? I asked if you turned in your paper.
